"Hard to believe that it's been so long since we came here." Poison Ivy said.
"Ah, that's right. You guys said you came here to hide out, right?" Mayumi asked.
"Yes. After that whole stint in the IG-3 and Diablo's death, we were hiding out on Volcano Island." Cheetah said. "Of course, that was where we met...him."
"Ah, right… Officer Alexander, correct?" David asked.
"The very same. I don't think any of us will forget that guy and his brand of attempted execution." Captain Cold said.
"To put into perspective, Ishihara, I know how much it pains you to hear the name, but… Alexander is basically Akainu if he was a Dragon Slayer." Cheetah said.
"Akainu as a Dragon Slayer? You mean he's got magma powers too?" David asked.
"Yep. And not just that, he's got the same mindset and everything." Captain Cold said.
"Great… Just when one Akainu was bad enough to deal with." David said.
"At least Alexander actually cared for his men, or so we witnessed." Captain Cold said.
"It would've been curtains for us too. But then the Doomsday Legion came in and bailed us out." Poison Ivy said. "Then we came to Theodore's lab to rescue Coronamon and bring him to Marina Island, and then… Well, the rest, you all already know."
"Still, damn… We had no idea you guys were having such a hectic time with that Alexander guy." Mayumi said.
"He probably still sees us as criminals at this point." Poison Ivy said.
"Nothing that can be done about that, all things considered." Omnimon said.
"I suppose you have a point there." Cheetah said.
"Speaking of the Legion, I wonder how they and the Vanguard are doing." Ace said.
"Yeah...it's been since that World of Light stuff since we've seen them." Jexi said.
"That's way farther than us. We haven't seen them since they dropped us off for KOF." Captain Cold said.
"Oh yeah, Al and Miriam mentioned that they saw you guys before that." Sachiko said.
"Yeah, we met up with them in Wakanda when we were collecting the Infinity Stones." Al said. "And when Hitomi and Cheetah saw each other…"
"Still at it with her, huh Cheets?" David asked.
"Well they were gonna go at it before Black Panther stepped in." Al said.
"Yes, if he hadn't stepped in, Wakanda would've been splattered with blood. Well… More than was already spilled." Cheetah said.
"Still, things definitely were pretty crazy when all that Olympos XII stuff happened. But when I think about it, those events are kind of what led to this union in the first place." David said.
"Yeah, so much has happened during and after those events." Ace said. "That was when our two teams ventured on Organica together with Volt's group later joining us."
"Come to think of it, that was also around the time we met AJ and the others." Hope said.
"They were the ones that dropped them off at Marina Island, remember?" David asked. "Pamela here mentioned that already."
"Speaking of here….we have arrived." Le Kraken said as they sailed over a vast ocean filled with a number of coral reefs. "Welcome...to the Coral Sea."
"Damn… The water in this universe is so fresh and clean." Rayleigh said.
"It's so beautiful." Selena said.
"This really is a sight to behold." Rarity said.
"Mais bien sûr, it is one of the most popular sightseeing locations in the Ocean Universe." Le Kraken explained. "Normally, only aquatic Beastmen can come here, to try and preserve the coral. Toutefois, I called an old friend, and they've given consent for us to explore and find the dungeon."
"There's just one problem… Some of us can't swim, not to mention that I don't think there are enough diving suits for everyone else." David said.
"You don't need to worry about that. You have Kyogre as a Perfect Link, right? So, you just need to use Burst and you can breathe underwater. But...yeah, only a few of us can breathe underwater without any problems." Fulgore said.
"Somehow I don't think breathing underwater is gonna be a problem, Fulgy." Leviathan said, pointing to a large cavern that was above sea level.
"Yeah...uh...you guys go ahead." Nemo said.
"You aren't coming?" Ethox asked.
"Nah...someone needs to...watch the ship." Nemo said, looking out to a few mermaids swimming by.
"Oh, you lie so bad." Sectonia said.
"And you and David love so good, so you know what I'm looking for here." Nemo replied, then realized what he said. "Relationship! You two have a good relationship!" he clarified quickly.
"It's...kind of a known fact at this point, don't you think?" Cheetah asked.
"It's really that obvious, huh?" David asked.
"Oh, come now. It's not like either of you were trying to hide it anyway." Cheetah said.
"Alright, Nemo, you can stay." Ethox said. "We'll see you when you get back… and… good luck, I guess."
"Thanks, boss." Nemo smiled. "Good luck, gang!"
So the group ventured into the cave. As they did, the cave seemed to become crystal clear partway through, showing the fantastic sea life that surrounds their view.
"Oh wow, this is such a magnificent sight." Sectonia said.
"It's almost like we're in one of those glass tunnel things at an Aquarium." Bow added.
"It's absolutely stunning." Thorani said.
"And it seems like the view only gets more glamorous." Mina said as they looked upon a vast coral garden sitting right before them at the end of the corridor.
"Whoa, look at this place!" Glimmer said.
"Now THIS is scenery!" ZS said enthusiastically. "Imagine living here!"
"This is a vast coral garden of some kind." Twilight said.
"Garden? More like a vault." Theo said.
"A Coral Vault, if we're giving it a name." Hope said.
"Not sure what we'll find...but we may as well see." Theo said as they spread out through the garden.
