"Wow...the country of Aureole." Pit said as they looked to numerous floating islands stretched as far as the eye could see.
"This feels a lot like home." Ace said.
"Yes, the Rito would love it here. Perhaps some day…" Revali said.
"Hmm...from what it looks like...ah...there it is!" Gabiru said, spotting a green gate with an air symbol on its doors.
"I wonder what challenge this one has in store for us." Petra said.
Passing through the gate, they soon found themselves in a large expanse with an endless cloud sea and a single stone monument.
"A monument. I wonder if this means something." Sectonia said.
"Well, hello, hello!" a voice called out as a green figure was high in the air before landing on the cloud.
"Whoa! That was a very high jump!" David said.
"Samurai Jack would be proud." ZS added. "I take it you're the Knight of Wind?"
"That would be me, yes. Girart, Knight of Wind, at your service." the knight said.
"Well, he sure seems peppy." Poison Ivy said. "So what is this?"
"This...my fair lady...is going to be a race." Girart said.
"Now you're speaking our language." Cheetah said.
"Easy, Cheets. This is the Knight of Wind we're talking to here. It's not going to be easy." David said.
"Not easy at all. It's gonna be on foot. Something tells me this guy's fast on his feet." Hope said.
"Well, when you control the wind, I suppose you'd have to be." Aoesia said.
"Oh, please, your words are too much. I'm not that vain." Girart said.
"So, how is this race gonna work?" Adora asked.
"It's simple...first to the monument wins...without touching the ground." Girart said. "Well...clouds in this case."
"Sounds like something our fliers can get into." Sectonia said.
"And it starts…" Girart said as lightning crashed. "Now!" he said taking off.
"Let's go!" Petra said as she, Revali, Teba, UlforceVeedramon and the other flyers took off.
"Oh...we got some skilled ones here." Girart said. "Shame you aren't one with the wind. You'll have to land to rest eventually."
"I think you'll find we've got the stamina to cover it." UlforceVeedramon said. They flew quickly through the air before reaching the monument before Revali snatched victory from them.
"He was even able to beat me there. That was impressive." UlforceVeedramon said. "Looks like you win this time, Revali."
"More than he expects." Girart said, presenting them with the wind stone.
"It was only natural that I come out on top." Revali said. "This has been quite the fun little diversion. Thank you for this contest, Girart."
"It was nothing. But your quest for the Element Sword continues. You'll be going digging in the next one. Terreria is next." Girart said.
"Do you mean that figuratively or literally?" Kentaurosmon asked.
"Little of both." Girart said.
"Still, this has been quite the trip so far. I'm really liking this place." Zacian said.
"Same here. This universe is a pretty cool one." Zephyr added.
"We're just three stones away from a complete sword." Jesmon said.
"Yep. It won't be long now." Jesse said.
