Two of a Kind
by Tito-Mosquito
The sun shines over the crowded marketplace at midday. Once again, the thief Aladdin is out stealing food to survive. A young man about nineteen years of age. He wears a red fez over his messy black hair, his outfit consists of a purple vest, no shirt, and white billowing pants. He's also barefoot, thus they're hardened and caked with dirt by a lifetime of running and poverty.
He's pretty much an anomaly to everyone in Agrabah. He's kind, charming and good-looking to many of the women who adore him. To most, he's a no-good thief who steals from hardworking people. No doubt about it, Aladdin is a thief, but unlike most thief, he doesn't steal for the thrill or greed. Although he does enjoy the thrill of escaping the palace guards who are out for him specifically. But not out of any greed, he only steals to survive, mostly food. Though we would occasionally steal some coins to actually pay for his food to get on the shopkeepers' good graces. Sometimes he would give them to those he feel need it more, especially orphaned children who had to fend for themselves.
Still, it's a lonely life for him. No family, no pets, or even a girlfriend. His mother died at a young age and his father's disappeared long before. While he's popular with the harem girls (some at least who were sympathetic towards him), their affections are mostly schoolgirl crushes, there's no chemistry between him and any of the girls. He would like a friend, a partner... a soulmate, someone who knows that it's like to live as a street rat.
"Stop, thief! Stop!"
That yell caught Aladdin's attention. He recognizes Razoul's voice anywhere, thinking the palace guards caught him again. He turns to see a girl tip over a cart of fish, jump over it, and keep running for her dear life.
This girl is about his age, maybe a year or so younger. She has dark brown hair that reach down her back with two small ponytails on each side of her head tied by two golden circlets, startling blue eyes, and tan skin. She wears a ragged white shirt with patches on the sleeves underneath a green vest, baggy white harem pants, and a purple sash tied around her waist. She is also barefoot like Aladdin.
She briefly stopped to catch her breath, then turns left as the guards are not far behind. "Stop, thief!" Razoul shouted. The guards climped over the cart and chase the girl, while slipped on the fish that were spilled on the ground, causing them to slide.
The girl runs past Aladdin, followed by the slipping guards.
The girl then jumped on some clotheslines above her, and does some elaborate flips.
Razoul stopped in his tracks. "What?" Razoul muttered in confusion. The other guards didn't stop soon enough as they crashed into Razoul.
"Wow, she's pretty good." Aladdin said to himself. He's impressed with her prowess and acrobatics. Doing exactly what he would to avoid the palace guards.
Flipping from clothesline to clothesline, the girl drops down, sliding on an awning, and bounces to land on the ground. Then quickly resumes running.
"After her!" Razoul shouted to Fazal, as they got up and continue their pursuit.
While he's been watching the entire scene, refreshed to see the guards chase someone other than him, Aladdin start to worry about the girl. Even though she can clearly take care of herself, she could use some help. So he chase after them.
The girl leaps over a watermelon cart to run into an alley. But to her surprise, she ran to a dead-end, a brick wall between two buildings. "Stop!" She turns back to see the guards flip over the cart and are gaining on her. She spots a rope tied to a window tarp on the roof. She starts climbing up, until Razoul grabbed her right foot. "Not so fast, you little monkey!" Razoul snarled as he pulled her back down until he grabs her vest and throw her into the arms of the other guards. "It's the dungeon for you, girl."
Suddenly a barrel drops on Razoul, three more drop on the others. Then Aladdin drops down and kicks the guards, making them roll into a cart being pulled by a camel. The camel got startled by the new cargo and runs away.
"That oughta teach those goons a little respect." Aladdin said, while standing on a wooden crate with his hands on his hips.
"You saved me. No one ever did anything like that for me before." The girl said all dreamy, very grateful for what he's done.
"Well, I couldn't let a pretty girl like you be thrown into the dungeon. I had trouble with Razoul before." Aladdin said, as he steps to the ground.
"You... think I'm pretty?"
"Pretty? I think you look beautiful." Aladdin said.
"Why thank you." The girl blushed.
They both chuckled bashfully. Things were then awkwardly silent between them, not knowing what else to say.
"Uh... here's your melon." Aladdin picks up the fruit for the girl and hand it to her. She continues to star into Aladdin's eyes. "Well, bye now. Watch your back."
"I will." the girl said. "Oh, uh, my name is Sadira!"
"I'm Aladdin!" he said with a smile. "See ya!"
"Aladdin." Sadira said, putting down the melon so she could do a little twirl. "What a perfect name." Then she stands on the crate. "He and I... we're two of a kind! We belong together. And we're gonna be together. Someday, somehow."
So Aladdin spend the whole day doing his usual thieving. He also tried to sell some jewelry he stole for cash, but all he got was some dates for his trouble. While walking back home, he spotted a boy looking at his bag of dates. The boy is sitting by a wall with his mother and sister, very poor and dirty, and shoeless like him. So he selflessly hand him the bag, which is still pretty full since Aladdin ate only two or three.
Later that night, Sadira is all alone, freezing cold while trying to sleep. As every other night. Trying to keep warm, she's thinking about that boy who helped her, Aladdin. Thinking about how she'd like to cuddle in his arms, her face on his barechest. Just being with him.
At his hovel, Aladdin is having difficulty sleeping as well. He spend nearly all night lying on his back while staring at the ceiling. He can't help but think about that girl he saved - Sadira. She really is cute. And she can clearly handle herself, just like him. He can't help but feel she's out there all alone, like himself.
Thinking about Sadira is giving him a hard-on. So he put his hand inside his pants and start fapping. He shudders and breathes hard and fast. He starts to moan and he feels his dick throbbing until he squirted. "SADIRAAAAAaaaaoooohhhh!"
A few days later.
Aladdin once again roams the marketplace, deciding on what to steal this time. It's been days since he met her. He hopes to see her again. Suddenly, he hears a girl scream coming from above. As he looks up, a person ripped through the awning above him, and landed in his arms. It was the girl he met yesterday, Sadira. Speak of the devil, he thought.
"Ooooh, glad I dropped in." she said seductively, while trailing her finger on his chin.
"Yeah, me too." Aladdin said dreamily. Sadira smiled at that. "I mean, uh... what's happening?"
"Stop that girl! She's a thief!" A merchant named Farouk screamed from out the window.
"Gotta go!" Sadira said as she gets on her feet to get away. But Aladdin grabs her hand. "Hey, what are you doing?!"
"Don't worry, I'll protect you." he said. Then Farouk had dropped to the ground in front of them.
"That girl stole all my gold coins!"
"Is that true, Sadira?" Aladdin suddenly asked.
"I don't know what he's talking about." Sadira denied.
"Now Sadira, hand them over." Aladdin demanded, then winked at Sadira. Which she caught on and complied to his demand. "I'm really sorry, sir."
"There you go. She said she's sorry. No hard feelings, right?"
"Once a thief, always a thief!" Farouk screamed at her.
"Forget it Farouk, you got back what you wanted now go on with your life!" Aladdin said, standing between Farouk and Sadira. Farouk muttered in frustration and walked away. "Next time, pick on someone your own size!"
When Farouk is out of sight, Aladdin revealed that he snatched a few coins from Farouk's pouch. Enough that he won't even miss. Sadira was impressed by his sleigh of hand, but is more appreciative to what Aladdin did for her.
"You saved my life again." Sadira said all lovey-dovey. "Allow me to show you my gratitude." She went up to kiss her on the lips, causing them both to fall on the ground. Aladdin's eyes widdened as he feels the electrical feeling when she had her lips touched his.
"Whoa, easy now. I know I'm good-looking." A surprised Aladdin said as he scoots away a bit.
"Sorry." Sadira said, as she sat on her knees blushing.
"That's okay. That was... breathtaking." Aladdin said, getting up.
"Really?" Sadira asked, as Aladdin offers his hand to her.
"Really." Aladdin said, as Sadira takes his hand and gets up. Then she looks at Aladdin's handsome face, and his perfect brown eyes.
Aladdin couldn't help but look at Sadira's pretty face, and her exotic blue eyes, which hides something special in her, almost like a hidden magic.
"Sadira, right?" Aladdin asked.
"That's right!" She replied, a little hyped up because he remembers her name. "So, wh-whatcha doing?" Sadira asked.
"I-I'm just doing a little browsing." Aladdin said.
"Can I come with you?" Sadira asked.
"Sure, that'll be nice." The two go for a walk, with Sadira wrapping her left arm around Aladdin's right arm.
Aladdin and Sadira spend the rest of the day together. They watched a few shows like fire-eating, juggling, and sword-swallowing. They bought a couple of apples from a vendor, with some of Farouk's coins. Aladdin even bought some lovely flowers and offers them to Sadira.
"Oh, Aladdin!" Sadira said, taking the flowers and then gives Aladdin a hug and a kiss.
"Think nothing of it." Aladdin said. They see that it's nearly sundown. "I guess we should be heading home now. Say, where do you live?"
"I... Well, I mostly sleep in this hole on a wall of some alleyway. No much of a home really."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Aladdin said with sympathy in his voice. "Well, would you like to come stay at my place? It's a lot safer."
"You have an actual home?" A surprised Sadira asked.
"Yeah, though it's more of a hovel, but I got plenty of room."
"Okay." Sadira grabs Aladdin's hand as he takes her home.
They climbed ladder after ladder until the two made it to the rooftops. They ducked some loose boards and made it into Aladdin's home.
"So you live here?" she asked.
"Yep, just me." Aladdin sighed. "It gets pretty lonely."
Sadira sat down next to Aladdin by the window. "Well at least you have a place to stay."
"I guess so, and it's got a great view." He opened the curtains, revealing a magnificent view of the beautiful palace as it shimmers in the setting sun.
"Wow!" Sadira was amazed. While she's seen the palace a few times before, it looks more impressive from here, which, other than the palace, is much higher. "It's beautiful."
"I've always want to live in a place like that. Having servants and valets."
"I always dream about being a princess." Sadira sighed. "It would just be so perfect... never having to worry about your next meal. Able to have a warm bath each night and sleeping on a nice soft bed. My every whim satisfied... it would be great." she said as she began dreaming about life of luxury.
They continue to stare at each other for a while, still holding hands. A bond was clearly forming between them. They realize that they have a lot in common, like they belong together, and that they should be together. And with that, the two share another tender kiss. A much longer kiss.
"Sadira... would you like to live here with me?" Aladdin asked.
Sadira was so touched by his proposal that she immediately replied, "I would love too!"
They're both happy, since they're no longer alone.
Another typical day at the marketplace. Both Aladdin and Sadira crouch on the roof as they look down at the stand selling bread.
"Okay Sadira, go for it." Aladdin tells Sadira, who came bouncing down using a couple of window tarps and an awning. She then distracts the crowd with her acrobatic skills, all while Aladdin snatches a couple of loafs.
After Aladdin manages to get the loafs unnoticed, Sadira wraps it up with a big finish with a spinning backflip which earns her an applause. She bows to them and then meets up with Aladdin, who compliments her for her little show. As a result, he didn't see where he was going and bumps into Razoul, making Aladdin fall to the ground.
"You again?!" Razoul yelled.
"Thieves!" The vendor shouts from far behind.
Razoul and the rest of the guards pull out their swords. The two thieves looked at each other with smiles. This is going to be a lot of fun. Aladdin grabbed Sadira's hand and they started running as the guards chase after them.
They half-slid into an alley. They raced part way through before using a wagon of wares as a boost to reach a series of poles that crisscrossed the upper half of the alley. They danced through them, pausing only once to see the guards were sufficiently blocked for the time being. When the poles ran out, they grabbed hands and twisted themselves to the ground.
They see someone closing their window, so Sadira gives it a knock, causing the person to open it, accidentally slamming it into a guard's face, which was the plan all along. They come out to a balcony. Aladdin slides down a pole while Sadira hops over the fence. Then they run across the place, knocking some spices.
"Riff-raffs! Street rats! Scoundrels!"
"Take that!" Aladdin said, as she cuts a rope with a nearby knife. Dropping something to a cart, which carries Aladdin up with Sadira in his arms.
The two landed in a window, where there's a bunch of harem girls in scandily-clad clothing. "Oh no, not the brothel!" Sadira complained, while Aladdin smiled. Noticing the company, the girls squealed "Oh, it's Aladdin!" They came towards the two and pulled Aladdin towards them, while one of them bumping Sadira out of the way with a smirk. The girls then started dancing with him.
Sadira is angry at these hussies flaunting over him, and they know since since they're all smirking at her.
"Ooh, what's wrong, Sadira? Don't want to share your man." One of the girls said.
"They've become a double rise in crime." One of them tittered. While they do find Aladdin cute, they like taunting Sadira more and she knows it.
Sadira ran over to Aladdin and grabbed his arm. "Let's go, Casanova." The two jumped out the window.
"Bye, Aladdin!" The girls waved at him.
They zigzag down from canopy to canopy to a wagon of rolled-up carpets to the ground. Then they stroll down the alleyway, holding hands.
"You know I hate it when you go there."
"Hey come on, I forgot. We were trying to get away from the guards."
They then stop at the end of the alleyway, Aladdin held his hand out as a cart drives by, getting hold of the end of the wagon, and swung him and Sadira onto the ledge. Soon they see more guards in front of them. So the two leaped off and raced through another alley on the left. The guards quickly follow them there.
"Stop, thieves!" The guards shouted.
"Vandals!" Someone else shouted.
"Outrageous!"
"Scandal!" A woman said in aghast at the two.
They make a quick right turn to some stairs as the guards picked up speed. and up on the roof. Two guards climb up another way. They were about to draw their swords until Aladdin pushed the wooden platform from the building, sending the guards down some flowers.
"Together on three!"
"On three."
"We jump!" Aladdin said, as he gives Sadira a pole.
"You got it!"
"One... two... three!" Aladdin shout as he runs and jump to the other roof. Sadira uses the pole to jump across, and lands into Aladdin's arms.
They run across the other rooftops. Then Aladdin gets an idea, he grabs a rolled-up carpet and drops it down an awning.
Sadira jumped on Aladdin's back, piggyback style, as they jumped over a man lying on a bed of nails. Sadira then hopped off Aladdin's back.
"Let's say we find a quiet place to eat?"
They are sitting down on one of the rooftops, with their feet dangling, enjoying their snack together and watching the sunset.
"This is really wonderful, Aladdin." Sadira said as she rest her head on his shoulder.
"Yeah... it is." Aladdin agreed, mostly looking at Sadira so close together. He wraps his his arm around her while they continue sunset gazing, the clouds are turning purple, the sky is growing darker and stars are beginning to appear.
"Someday, things will change for the both of us. I promise." Aladdin said.
"I know we will. And I will hold you to that." Sadira giggled, giving Aladdin a kiss on the cheek.
When the sun finally descends into the horizon, Aladdin gets up. "Come on, Sadira, let's go home." Sadira takes Aladdin's hand to help her up, and they return home together.
Author's Notes:
The part where Aladdin got swindled and given dates instead and later hand it to a poor family came from the 2019 movie. Though the kids are the same ones from the original animated movie.
The scene where they both run from the guards is inspired by the "One Jump Ahead" scene from the 2019 movie, only no singing here. And like their live-action counterparts, the harem girls do like Aladdin, their disdain is instead focused on Sadira.
Recently I found something interesting, there's an unused character named Abbi from a 1988 draft for the original animated movie. She's a tomboyish street urchin (not unlike Sadira) who's one of Aladdin's friends and joins him on his quest to rescue Jasmine, who has a "spoiled brat" persona in this version. At the end of the draft, when he was offered the princess' hand in marriage, Aladdin refused in favor of his true love Abbi (while Jasmine seems to fall for Aladdin's friend Omar). I believe Sadira may have been inspired by Abbi, since Sadira believed Aladdin to be her true love, and she initially assumed Jasmine to be the spoiled princess. This further influenced my Aladdin/Sadira pairing.
