Video Vibes
Over at Aggie's pod, Aggie had invited her fellow Troll Harmony members over to practice, and at the moment, the girls were actually in the midst of brainstorming, coming up with their own original song.
Inside, the girls were all sitting together, trying to come up with lyrics, as Blues said while sitting in a chair, looking at her paper longingly, "Anyone come up with anything yet"?
All of the girls in the room groaned tiredly, "No."
Holly commented, "Hot dang, y'all; tryin' ta wraate an original is laake tryin' ta wrangle ayy Pig Crittuurr in the muck on ayy rainy day. It ain't as easy as my mama made me believe it was."
Aggie soon flew into the room, offering juice, and cookies, saying, "Maybe a snack will get our creative juices flowing, especially after we drink this sweet juice."
While she poured out the drink into cups, Melody mentioned, "We need our song to be just as catchy as it is intriguing, but how"?
Rhythm bit into her cookie and said, "Well, maybe we just need to find the right melody of the song, then we can maybe make our lyrics based around it."
Laguna picked up one of the juice cups and sipped on it, adding, "Note: If we perhaps knew how we would want our song to sound like, then perhaps it'll be easier for the words of it to just flow."
Aggie then mentioned, "Well...does anyone have any ideas how it should go"?
Everyone got down to thinking about how they wanted the song they have in mind to go, but like with the lyrics, their minds were drawing blanks...until someone started to hum.
Melody's ears picked up on the sound of humming and heard Holly humming a small tune to herself.
It was low, but it sounded like it could be used, as she started to hum along with Holly, who perked up from the Pop/Rock Troll's humming, and smiled, humming with her.
Everyone soon heard the humming and thought that this could be the start of a new beat. Aggie then started to sing, "Go, go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh"!
Starting to get a tune going, Laguna joined in with Aggie's singing, while R and B started to add some beat to the music by singing, "Go," repeatedly in a low voice, and in time with Laguna and Aggie, while Melody and Holly kept humming the music they had in mind.
The girls were smiling excitedly, starting to feel their song coming on, as Holly exclaimed, "Hot dang, that sounded great, y'all! Let's add onto it"!
Blues added, "Yeah, that sounded so amaza-bo-bonkers, we just have to add more to it! That beat is on fleek"!
For the next hour, Troll Harmony worked together to come up with the rest of the lyrics for the song they had just started to make, having fun exchanging harmonies and certain words that could fit well with the song.
Soon, they had finally come up with their song, looking at the piece of paper Aggie was holding in awe, Melody saying while wiping a stray tear away, "It's pure perfection"!
Laguna added, "Yeah, it's truly a musical masterpiece"!
Aggie said, "I can't believe we came up with this together"!
Rhythm mentioned, "Uh-huh, girl, we created something so beautiful together, as a team"!
Blues then shouted, "I can't wait to perform this in front of all of Trollstopia"!
Suddenly, Melody started to develop an idea, saying, "Hey, you know? I have an idea: what if we debut our new song...in a music video"?
All of the Troll Harmony members gasped in surprise, asking, "A music video"?!
Melody nodded, saying, "Yeah, a lot of famous musicians and bands make music videos to share their music with the world, even if it's just here in Trollstopia, but yeah, I think we can do it! imagine it, us getting to express our creativity in a video we can make together! We worked on this song together, we should share this musical teamwork with all the Trolls here."
Rhythm then mentioned, "Well, it would actually be really fun if we make a music video! I mean, imagine it: we can really show the meaning and power behind our song while also having fun with it"!
Holly added, "Ayy video would be laake an art canvas, where we ken make it as creative as we want to"!
Aggie added, "We can all make it as flashy and interactive for our audience to enjoy"!
Laguna mentioned, "And highlight our singing voices at the same time"!
Blues then said, "Mel, I speak on behalf of us when I say we should TOTALLY do this! Let's make a music video"!
Everyone cheered excitedly as Melody declared, "I can tell our first music video is going to be a smash hit! Just, uh, one little question: how do we make a music video"?
That made everyone blink in confusion, with Holly saying, "Uh...gee, y'all, ay don't know. Do ay ov y'all have any clue"?
R and B shrugged in unison, Laguna shook her head no, and Aggie answered, "No, but I'm sure we can figure it out. Let's head outside and see if we can think of something."
With that, Troll Harmony walked outside of the pod and headed into town to see if anyone could lend a helping hand in their music video.
Outside, Trollex was experimenting with some new sound combinations he created on his DJ set when he saw his girlfriend and Troll Harmony approaching him, making him smile and say, "Hey, ladies! What can I do for you"?
Aggie then said, "Hey, Trollex we could use your help. We want to make a music video for our new song, but we haven't got any ideas on what to do. Think you can give us a hand"?
Trollex scratched the bottom of his chin and answered, "Well, I don't know anything about making videos, but I can help you girls with the music for your song! What beat did you have in mind"?
Laguna then said, "Well, your majesty, it goes something like this," and the girls started to hum the melody they were thinking of for their song.
Trollex paid careful attention to them singing and listened to each note before saying, "Hmmmm, you know, I can make this come to life! Let me try something and you girls can give feedback on the beats I choose."
He started to press some buttons on his DJ set, playing an electronic beat that was really catchy with a fast-paced tempo, but it also had some stellar electronic reverb and a gripping melody that seemed to match the feel of their song.
The girls listened to the beat of the music that Trollex produced, chiming in with different opinions to give the music a bit more of an edge. Aggie suggested giving the chorus melody that led to them signing the chorus part a bit of a suspenseful feel, starting out soft and easy before the beat build up and then dropped at the chorus. Holly suggested a bit more bass, and R and B piped in about adding some turntable scratches near the climax, to give the verses before the chorus some high-tech individuality to the song. Melody also suggested heightening the volume of the reverb in the beginning while Laguna suggested for the pre-chorus, drums could be used to lay down the beat instead of electronic drums, to give the music an authentic feel.
Soon, once Trollex had added all of their suggestions, he placed them together into the music and made a tune that, to Troll Harmony, it was perfect for their song. Trollex held the newly made record in his hand, saying, "Here you go, ladies. One fresh hit for your new song."
Everyone looked at the music record in awe, with Aggie saying, "Wow, this is so cool"!
Melody then said, "Now, we just got to play this song and make our video, and boom! Instant music video"!
Holly then asked, "But how are we gonna make ayy music video if we don't even know how ta"?
On cue, Poppy and Branch approached the group, with Poppy asking, "Hey, girls! Did we hear right about you guys wanting to make a music video"?
Everyone turned around and nodded, with Rhythm saying, "You're right on the money, Queen P," while Blues added, "We wrote a funktastic song and want to debut it as a music video, but we don't know how to make one."
Poppy then said, "We can help you guys! Making a music video shouldn't be too hard; it's like filming a movie, but with singing"!
Branch added, "Yeah. We can give you girls a hand with your video."
Trollex then said, "I can man the music and play parts of your song for each part." Poppy then said, "We can get supplies and costumes and any other essentials you guys might need for your video"!
All 6 girls chattered excitedly, before Holly asked, "But wait, what should our video be about"? Laguna then said, "What we first need before we start on anything else is a plan for how we want the video to go."
With that, all six girls returned to Aggie's pod to come up with a plan for their video.
Aggie placed a sheet of paper on the table, with a pencil next to it, saying, "ok, so, this will be where we write our ideas for the video, and if any of you have one to share, write it down and then we can talk about it and see if it fits."
Melody then said, "Well, first off, our song is called "go" so it should be action-themed," and wrote "Action theme" on the paper.
Rhythm mentioned, "True, but we should also make it fun," and wrote "Fun" on the paper as Blues added while writing "Technology" on the paper, "Maybe something with technology."
Laguna then added, "And dance so it doesn't focus solely on our voices," while writing, "Dance" on the paper."
Aggie then said, "It'd be awesome if we could make things glow in our video to give off light and make things exciting," and wrote "Add lights."
Holly added, "Ayn' we could also have it take place at naheet! It gives a mystical edge ta our already colorful vaabe, plus, it'd hahlaheet the laheets Aggie here suggested"!
Back and forth, the girls discussed and debated on everything they wanted in their video before they finally had an affirmed plan written down. With the paper full of all they wanted for their video, all 6 girls nodded in unison happily before heading to meet with Poppy and Branch.
Outside by the edge of town, the girls were sharing their plan with Poppy, saying, "Wow, this is an amazing plan, ladies! Now, since you have a plan for your video, we can now talk about equipment and other things you might need."
Holly was the first to speak up, saying, "Definitely gonna need some costumes ayn' cosmetics" while Blues mentioned, "And Trolls to help with the lighting and recording with a camera."
Aggie mentioned, "We know Trollex will be controlling the music, but what about scenery and props"?
Melody added, "And provisions so we can stay energized while filming"?
On cue, the group then heard grunting and saw Branch pulling a huge wagon full of chairs and other essential items, while Synth, who was wearing a light blue set of stagehand headphones with a dark blue mic that stuck out on the right side, while walking next to Branch, was carrying a red-and-green Video Camera Bug, with a light blue screen nozzle, light blue legs to stand on, and white wings on its back so it can fly for sky-high shots, saying, "No sweat, yo, we got you covered"!
Branch added, "I found some things in my bunker to use for us to set up a little studio, with chairs, and a camera, and some heavy lighting. I even brought my computer so we can use it to edit the videos we collect to conjoin them and add some special effects."
Dante soon came flying forward, carrying some lampposts, while saying, "I'm also aiding on the lighting, and will be an excellent aid for those video shots in the sky that you girls might want."
Cooper then came by, dragging a huge box full of items, saying, "I got you girls with plenty of props that you might need," as Satin and Chenille, who came pushing lines of clothing, declared in unison, "We got you on fashion"!
Gust then came galloping forward, carrying a wagon of snacks and fruit punch in bottles, saying, "Ay went around ayn' got y'all ayy lot ov provishuns ta keep you fueled ayn' music ready."
Trollex floated towards them, set up with his DJ set, and Beat happily set in his button spot, saying, "My DJ set is all tuned up and ready to play your music," before Delta, Maddy, and Essence stepped forward, with Delta saying, "Ayn' we'll help out with y'all's hair ayn' makeup."
McJagger came running with the rest of the ambassadors, delegates, and associates, saying, "We came to help out too with the filming and anything else you girls need"!
Aggie, Blue, Rhythm, Laguna, Melody, and Holly were all very surprised to see just about all of their friends out here to help them, with Aggie saying, "Oh golly, guys! You all came to help us"?
Synth replied, "Yeh, yo; videos are a team effort, and we're all set to pitch in and help make your first music video be so *imitates airhorn noises*"!
Essence mentioned, "We know how big the task can be, and that's why we all volunteered to pitch in and help."
Melody replied, "Wow, you guys, we don't know how to thank you for your help."
Cooper giggled and said, "No need to thank us yet, because right now, we got a video to make"!
Poppy then placed on a white-and-blue director's cap, a pair of sunglasses on her eyes, and pulled out her golden flower-shaped megaphone, saying, "Then, let's get filming! Crew to your stations, and let's get these six to hair and make-up for the first scene"!
Before anyone could say anything, all six girls were brought over to some chairs while the rest of the group started to unload all of the supplies set up for the video shoot.
Meanwhile, Troll Harmony were all sitting in a set of chairs while Delta, Essence, and Maddy were helping them with cosmetics.
At the moment, Delta was working on their manicures, filing Rhythm and Blues' nails, while Essence was doing make-up, adding a bit of glittery blush on Aggie's cheeks, while Maddy, as you could easily guess, was doing their hair, currently brushing Melody's hair, which was let loose from its signature ponytail.
Holly and Laguna were patiently waiting their turns, while Holly excitedly commented, "Y'all, ay still ken't wrap my maand around it, y'all"!
Blues then asked, "Around what? The fact that we're shooting our first ever music video as a group, or the fact that all of our friends came to help us out with the video shoot"?
Holly giggled and said, "Yeah, ay'm real pumped about that, but ay was actually referrin' ta the fact that this is the first taame ay'm seein' Mel with her hair down! Ay mean, girl, how long have y'all been hidin' that rope ov luscious locks from us"?!
Melody blushed and replied, "Well, I've always been shy with letting it loose since I've always felt so comfortable in a ponytail."
Aggie chuckled and said, "Well, you shouldn't have to be afraid to let it loose sometimes. It looks really nice when you leave your hair loose like that."
Rhythm then said as Delta finished up with Rhythm's manicure before moving onto Blues, "So, quick question for this music video: you think we might have to do any of the scenes at night?
Because as much fun as it would be to have a night scene, I wouldn't want our film shoot to wake up anyone who might be trying to sleep."
Laguna answered while taking her glasses off while Essence gave Laguna a bit of eyeliner, "From what I remember, Branch mentioned he brought his computer to use for making edits to the video, so I would think he could edit some scenes and give them a dark scenery to make it look like it's nighttime."
As Maddy moved onto Aggie, slowly brushing the MMT's rainbow-colored hair, Aggie mentioned, "I didn't even know Branch had a computer. How come I haven't seen it"?
Melody answered, "I think Branch keeps it on his coffee table near the rations section. He told me he used it one time to get Poppy and the other leaders tickets for a movie."
Blues commented as Delta soon finished her manicure, "Well, I know one thing so far, with all hands on deck, our music video will be just as great as any movie, especially with everyone working together to make it funk electric and funktastically fun, right ladies"?
Everyone nodded in agreement, as Essence commented, finishing up with adding Launa's eyeliner, "Well, we know that you girls will do a terrific job," while Delta commented as she started doing Melody's manicure, "Yeah, y'all, y'all don't got ta worry 'bout nothin'; just relax ayn' have fun with it, laake ya do when y'all sing."
Rhythm replied, "Oh, we're gonna have a blast," as everyone all cheered in agreement.
After Troll Harmony were set on hair and make up, Satin and Chenille brought them to the costume changing mushroom, as Satin said, "Let's get you ladies into your costumes for the first part of your video"!
Chenille mentioned, "According to the video concept, the first part of your video is gonna be about you 6 being bikers, right"?
Everyone nodded, with Holly saying, "Yeah, ay've always wanted ta try bein' ayyy bikuurr," while Melody added, "Plus, it's not only full of action, but it helps to give the beginning of our video a super pumped-up vibe"!
Satin then said while pulling back a rack of clothes that were covered and hanging on a rack, "Do these custom-made biker outfits we made scream "pumped up" for you"?
The group ran to the rack and picked out the set of clothes that were their size and went inside to try them on. One by one, they pulled the covers off their clothes and squealed excitedly at the costume they had: each of their biker outfits consisted of a black shirt that was covered in sparkly black glitter and had TH, the initials of their girl group Troll Harmony, in gold, shiny letters. Over the shirt was a bright, long-sleeved, leather jacket that was black and red, and the outfit also had red leather pants.
All 6 girls immediately tried their costumes on, modeling in the mirror, before they came out all dressed up, with Satin and Chenille fist-bumping each other in success, saying in unison, "Tres chique"!
Aggie tugged at the end of the shirt, saying, "This is super cool"!
Laguna mentioned while looking at the back of her leather jacket, "Note: I'm usually not one for leather, but this truly is amazing"!
Melody pulled back on one of the pant sleeves, saying, "These pants might be a bit tight, but I dig the color scheme"!
R and B both commented in unison, "Ama to the zing-zing"!
Holly mentioned, "Woohoo, ay feel laake ay ken touch the sky in this here outfit"!
Then, the girls saw Barb and Val approaching them, with the Rock Queen saying, "Perfect timing, ladies! Woah, sweet gear"!
Val added, "Yeah, you guys look so rocking"!
Barb then said, "Anyways, since the first part of your video is involving you 6 as bikers, Val and I called in some favors and got you guys something extra special."
On cue, both Rock Trolls let out a shrill whistle before a very loud VROOM VROOM could be heard, making Rhythm ask, "What to the what is that"?
Then, in the blink of an eye, six unidentified figures were seen on top of a hill before riding down the hill, jumping a small ledge, and screeching to a stop in front of the group. They looked like motorcycle critters that were dark blue and gold, with the back being a darker shade of blue, but also still having gold designs as well. The seat was a very dark shade of blue, but the front half of it was light blue, and the back of the seat had gold designs as well, held by a turquoise rod, and each motorcycle critter all had glowing neon wheels, each a different color.
One had a set of red glowing wheels, another had orange glowing wheels, another had yellow glowing wheels, another had green glowing wheels, another had blue glowing wheels, and the last one had purple glowing wheels.
All 6 motorcycle critters also had very, very dark blue handlebars that were also their antennas, two black eyes, and a headlight nose that flashed.
Aggie, Melody, Rhythm, Blues, Holly, and Laguna were estatic as they happily approached the critters, saying hello to them, and getting to know them.
Laguna excitedly asked while petting the motorcycle critter with the green wheels on its head, "What are these"?!
Barb explained, "These are custom-designed Motor Bugs. These fellas are really fast on the open road, and can do so many awesome tricks if you train 'em good enough"!
Val added, "Usually, they're trained for races and off-road travel, but we got these babies for you to help you for the video."
Melody was looking at the Motor bug with red wheels, which revved its engine at her happily, as Melody chuckled and said, "I like this one, so energetic and set for action! I call dibs on this guy"!
Holly was sitting on the Motor bug with orange wheels, saying, "Ay call this one! She's got style," as the Motor Bug revved its engine in response.
The one with blue wheels offered Aggie to climb onto it, as Aggie flew up and sat in the seat, saying, "This one is really courteous. I'll ride this one"!
R and B commented together, "And we'll ride these two," as the Motor Bugs with purple and yellow wheels revved their engines excitedly, rolling towards each other and "wheel-bumping" gently, as their way of fist-bumping, before standing next to each other so R and B could fist-bumped each other too.
The Motor Bug with green wheels gently nuzzled Laguna, who giggled while saying, "This one is friendly; I'll ride this one," and hopped onto it, gently turning the left handlebar/antenna, which made the Motor bug happily rev its engine.
Once they were all settled on their Motor Bugs, they rode them to the film site, which was all set up with lights, and Quincy manning the Video Camera Bug and ready to film, with Branch setting up his computer so he could make edits to the video they collected later. Trollex was fine-tuning his DJ set to play the music, with Beat giving him a hand. Meanwhile,
Poppy was checking her clipboard when she heard the sound of rumbling and saw all six girls arriving on their Motor Bugs, making the Pop queen smile and say, "Ah, perfect timing! We're all set to shoot the first scene of the music video. Let Demo give you girls the walkthrough of how it'll work."
Demo then came forward, saying, "First, you ladies will come down this forest path," and pointed to the path while adding, "One by one, in rainbow order, due to the wheels, and then, after you come down this path, you'll drive your Motor Bugs into this cycle stand," before pointing to the cycle stand. Demo then explained, "In the stand, your Motor Bugs will still keep rolling their wheels, so when Branch edits the video, he can make it look like you guys are still driving down a long path, but side by side...by side, by side, by- you get what I mean. Then, after some time on the stands, they will lower, allowing you guys to drive down the path again and to that ramp"!
He pointed to a ramp that was set up, with pillows on the ground below the ramp in case anyone fell off, while continuing the explanation, "While one at a time, you'll drive up on that ramp and do a fun aerial trick, land safely on the other side, and then you'll all park your vehicles in a circle, where you can then feel free to do whatever you please for the choreography of your video."
All six girls gasped in shock, with Blues saying, "Aerial tricks," while Rhythm asked, "Are you sure that's safe"?
Melody then said, "Don't worry; I've done a bunch of aerial tricks when Val and I go rock boarding. If you guys need any advice, feel free to ask me, and I can help."
Aggie added, "Plus, I can fly, so if you feel like you're slipping during that portion of the video, I'll quickly jump off to catch you."
Laguna then said, "Well, it would seem pretty interesting to try, but maybe let's do some simple tricks so we don't wind up struggling to do something complicated."
Holly nodded while adding, "Yeah, plus, it'll decrease any chances ov us gettin' hurt by accident too."
Val then came forward, carrying some black helmets with dark blue helmet lenses, with Riff, who was also carrying a few, helping her, as Val explained, "And one last thing, you guys are gonna need these," before they both tossed each girl a helmet.
While the group tried their helmets on, Riff explained, "There's a blue button on the left side of your helmets that you can press to lower and raise the glass lens of the helmet at any time. And there are microphones in the helmets too so we can hear you talk and sing, even with the helmets on."
Aggie commented while trying out the button, lowering the lens on her helmet, "This is so cool! I feel like a space Troll."
Holly added while taking her helmet off, "Feels a little snug if ay'm bein' honest."
Meanwhile, in the forest, Gust, Synth, and Minuet were together, all holding their own Video Camera Bugs, as Gust instructed, "Ok, y'all. While the gerls are a-workin' on the first big scene, we are gonna help with the video intro. We are gonna collect some footage ov the forest ta make the beginning of the video seem calm ayn' quiet, befawe the gerls come in on their cycles."
Minuet instructed, "Ooh, that does sound really riveting! Doesn't it, Synth," before both Trolls saw that Synth was missing...or so it seemed, as Minuet asked, "Synth"?
Suddenly, both Trolls heard laughing and saw Synth using his Video CameraBug to record a colorful butterfly that was flying by, as he said, "Bro, you shine like a glowstick. I could stare at you for hours"!
Gust cleared his throat to get Synth's attention, while also scaring off the butterfly by accident, as Gust instructed, "Synth, as much as that butterfly is pretty, we ken't get distracted. We got to focus on the nature shots, 'kay"?
Synth nodded and said, "You got it, bro," while picking up his Video Camera Bug.
Soon, all three Trolls began to search for the perfect spots to record some scenes of nature for the video.
Gust was focusing his video recordings of the scenery, getting footage of a path with beautiful plants and tests around it, and the sound of crickets chirping faraway, which added beauty to the area.
Minuet, meanwhile, was focusing on the plants, getting footage of the flowers and bushes around her.
Synth, however, didn't really know what he wanted to film at first, until he heard a rustle in the bushes, making him get his camera ready to shoot footage of whatever came out. It turned out to be a Grossum that peeked out before it ran away.
Seeing it run make Synth giggle, commenting, "Man, that's some quick Grossum"!
Back at the video site, business was booming as all hands were on deck with the filming process, as Poppy directed everyone as best she could so everything could run smoothly. Trollzart and Dante were helping with filming some of the higher perspective shots since they could fly and get perfect sky-high shots. While on the ground, Low-Note Jones, Biggie, Guy Diamond, and Stereo helped with the lighting, holding the spotlights up at specific angles. Meanwhile, Buckaroo was manning the Video Camera Bug that was filming Troll Harmony on the ground, while Branch was receiving the footage on his computer.
At the film site, with all 6 Motor Bugs currently parked in a circle, and Trollex playing the music to the song, Troll Harmony was singing a verse of the song while doing a dance in front of the Motor bugs, facing the camera.
Soon, all six girls posed, and Buckaroo, Dante, and Trollzart stopped recording, signaling Poppy they got the footage, with the Pop Queen shouting, "And cut! Great job, guys! The first scene is set! Let's move on to the next one"!
Cooper came towards them, carrying water bottles, saying, "Here, I got you girls water," and each girl took a bottle of water, opening it and drinking it.
Aggie then said while closing the lid on her water bottle, "Wow, golly, that was so spectacular"!
Holly added after chugging down the water from her bottle, "Yeah, y'all! Ay nevuurr felt so alaave ridin' these puppies"!
Melody then said after taking a quick air sip, "Those tricks we did on the ramp were so awesome! Aggie, who knew you could do a handstand on the handlebars like that? That was epic"!
Aggie blushed a bit while replying, "It wasn't easy, but I improvised by flying up while lifting my lower body up and keeping my wings flapping so I could keep my balance before slowly sitting back upright in my seat again."
Melody then said with a smirk, "And you looked so cool while doing it! And if you don't believe me, look over by the DJ set," and pointed to Trollex, who was blushing heavily while watching Branch rewatch the collected video on the computer.
Blues then said, "How about R's kick-flip on her Motor Bug? That was amaza-bo-bonkers"!
Laguna then mentioned, "Holly's 360 spin was very admirable too"!
Holly commented, "It definitely don't compare ta the upside-down 270 Mel did"!
Soon, Poppy approached the girls, saying, "Great job, ladies! that was really a lot of fun to shoot as it probably was for you to be rising them."
Aggie petted the top of her Motor Bug while saying, "Yeah, plus, these little critters are friendly as they are active," which prompted the Motor bug to rev its engine happily.
Branch then said, "Hey, girls, come here a sec so we can talk about edits."
The group walked over to Branch, who was typing on the computer as he said, "Ok, so, since we now have some video, I can work on making the dits. for example, this button here activates the feature to change the lighting of the scenery, changing it from day to night, like this."
Branch used his mouse to click on a button to make the feature occur, as the video now looked like it took place at night, making everyone say, "Ooh," in awe.
Laguna then mentioned, "Ooh, maybe make the lights a little brighter, so it's not too dark, like if it's the moonlight shining on the ground."
Holly added, "Ayn' ken y'all maybe add some small laaghts ta look laake fireflies"?
Branch nodded and started making the edits right away, as Rhythm asked, "Ok, so now what"?
Branch commented, "Well, that was just one scene so far edited; I would have to do the same thing for all of these scenes, but there's a way to have it done in one shot of I connect each scene in order and make a chain."
Branch then used his mouse to click the file where all of the video files were and slowly clicked each image of the video, placing it in order, before clicking a button that said, "Connect," and with it, the videos, including the one frame that was currently edited, all now meshed together. That also allowed the edits made on the first scene image to be interpreted to the other scene images as well and transcended to the rest of the video.
Everyone watched in awe, as Cooper peeked his head, suggested, "I know! Make the wheels brighter, so they look like they're glowing at night"!
Prince D chimed in, saying, "And maybe speed up that side-by-side ride shot up a bit so the flashing headlights can match the beat of the music in the second "Go" verse in the beginning."
The girl group nodded in agreement with the edit ideas, as Aggie suggested, "Ooh, I got a great idea! Maybe add some colorful, but faint laser lights in the back of us riding, so it looks like we're driving at a really fast speed"!
Melody added, "I love that idea," and everyone else nodded in agreement.
As Branch was making the edits, Poppy then said, "Ok, girls! We're ready for the next scene, so why don't you guys get changed and set for the next video shoot"?
As the group nodded and quickly changed back in their regular clothing, Blues then said, "I can't wait to do the next shot: the driving scene with the Dune Huggy"!
Rhythm, in curiosity, asked, "So, who out of us should get to drive the Dune Huggy for the video"?
Melody chimed in and added as she came out, putting on her leather jacket, "Count me out; I can't drive the Dune Huggy yet because I don't have a driver's license."
Aggie added, "Same for me," which left only Holly, R and B, and Laguna.
Holly then came out, suggesting, "How about us four play rock, paper, scissors faw it"?
When Laguna, R, and B came out of the dressing rooms, they all nodded in agreement, with Holly facing Blues, and Laguna facing Rhythm.
Holly and blues happily looked at each other in determination before saying in unison, "One, two, three, shoot," and lowered their hands. Holly saw that she had a rock handshape while Blues had a paper handshape, prompting the yellow Funk Troll to say, "Paper covers rock, baby," as Holly smiled and said, "Alraheet, ay lost, but good game"!
The same thing went on with Laguna and Rhythm, with Laguna having the scissors hand gesture while Rhythm had the paper gesture also, prompting Laguna to say, "Note: scissors cover paper, so, I win." Rhythm chuckled, saying, "Wow, nice on, Laguna"!
Finally, Laguna and Blues faced each other, and said, "One, two, three, shoot," before lowering their hands. Blues had the scissors hand gesture, while Laguna had the rock hand gesture, prompting Laguna to cheer in victory, while Blues said, "Looks like we found our driver"!
And on cue, DJ Suki came up to them, on her wooferbug, which was pulling the Dune Huggy to them, as DJ Suki stated, "It's all set and ready for you to drive, ladies," and hopped down, unhooking the vehicle from the wooferbug.
The group quickly got into the Dune Huggy, before something came in Melody's mind, saying, "Wait, I got one more thing we can do for this part," and handed everyone sunglasses.
Everyone cheered excitedly and picked up the sunglasses, placing them on, as Aggie commented, "Brilliant idea, Mel," while Rhythm added, "These shades are perfect"!
When Melody offered a pair of sunglasses to Laguna, she replied, "Thank you, but I'm ok. The sunglasses won't fit properly over my regular glasses."
Melody happily understood, "Got it"! DJ Suki then pulled out a Video Camera Bug and shouted, "Ok ladies, when you're ready, just say the world, and then Laguna, start driving the Dune Huggy while following me, but not too fast so I can get a clear shot of you guys"!
Holly gave a thumbs up while shouting, "We're on it, DJ," as Blues added, "We're red-red-ready, DJ! Let's get to shooting"!
Meanwhile, not too far away from them, by what looked like a hand-dug race track, Delta, Biggie, Stereo, and Barb were busy building together, as Biggie commented, "We'll make this stage the best-looking stage ever! Right, Mr. Dinkles," as his worm, who was holding a hammer, simply fell to its side in response.
Meanwhile, McJagger came by, pushing a wheelbarrow with some colorful paints, saying, "Hey, ladies, I got the paint," and Smidge added while carrying a pile of paintbrushes, "and I got the brushes for the-woah," but tripped and crashed into McJagger, making him stumble and lose control of the wheelbarrow, which rolled over a stone and made a can of white paint fly in the air and open up, spilling white paint onto Delta's head.
The first responder and the small, yellow Pop Troll both panicked, while McJagger said as his feet stamped quickly in fear, "Delta, I am so sorry! I-I didn't mean for that to hap-," but then, saw the mayor giggling, much to his relief/confusion.
Confused, Biggie asked, "Uh, Delta, are you ok," while Barb commented, "Yeah, are you alright"?
Delta nodded while adding, Ay'm good, y'all, though just ayy small thing: ay'm still way too young ta have any white hairs yet."
That little comment made everyone break into laughter, as Delta then added, "Besaades, we needed ta paint this stage white anyways, so, ay guess y'all kaand ov got things started, so thank ya, McJagger."
McJagger smiled sheepishly, saying, "Uh, sure, Delta," as Smidge said, "Though, maybe let's use these paintbrushes to paint the stage."
Meanwhile, Gust, Synth, and Minuet were heading back to the film site, with Minuet saying, "We got more than enough footage for the video now," as Gust said, "Now, we just got ta bring it ovuurr ta Branch so he ken make some edits ayn' add our footage ta the video."
However, while heading back, the trio heard music being played in the distance, as it was the music to the song, making the trio stop and tap their feet to the beat, as Minuet added, "My my, it's such a catchy tune"!
Synth pumped his arms up and down while saying, "Yeah, this beat is so "imitates airhorn noises"!
However, while Synth was rave-dancing, he didn't see the incoming wooferbug, with a distracted DJ still focused on filming Troll Harmony, who was in the Dune Huggy.
The wooferbug saw Synth in the middle of the path and motioned him to get out of the way, but Synth didn't seem to notice the incoming wooferbug.
Gust, seeing this, gasped and quickly threw a lasso, catching Synth, and pulling him back towards the group, just in the nick of time, before the wooferbug ran past the trio, along with the Dune huggy.
Synth, however, didn't seem to mind that he had almost gotten run over, as he commented, "Look, it's them," and shouted while waving, "Hi future sis-in-law! How's the video coming along," even though Aggie was too far away to hear what Synth said.
Minuet instructed, "Synth, you got to be more careful; you almost got struck by the wooferbug there," as Gust mentioned, "Faw now, let's go back ayn' give Branch our footage befawe an'thing else comes our way."
Synth giggled and said, "You got it, bro," and the trip continued to carry their Video Camera Bugs.
An hour later, up in the Vibe Town lab, Essence instructed, "Since this next part is taking place here, we already have the last light system set and ready for you six."
Satin then shouted, "Is everyone dressed yet," while Chenille added, "We want to see how your costumes look"!
On cue, Essence and the fashion twins, both gasped and smiled in awe when they saw Troll Harmony come out of a nearby dressing room, with everyone dressed in silver full-body suits that had wire designs and fake buttons attached to the costume, and they were all walking and mimicking machinery noises, as Aggie proclaimed in her bets robot voice, "Robot Troll Harmony is set for filming process of next scene"!
Melody added while moving her arms like robots, "We are at full music capacity, and are set to make the video, as the Trolls say, lit"!
R and B both said in robotic unison while making their arms robotically move in an "arm pump motion," Woo, Woo"!
Poppy awed while saying, "Awwwwww, you all look so awesome as robots"!
Holly commented in her best robotic voice, "Thanks, Poppy! We are set! How are the laser lights"?
Low-Note answered as he held a remote, "Bright and shiny, like requested, and in the best display of neon colors around," before pressing a button to make the lights and lasers turn on.
However, it was very, very bright; almost too bright, which resulted in the group shielding their eyes to block out the brightness, as Laguna shouted "Turn it off, turn it off" while shielding her eyes.
Low-Note Jones quickly pressed the button again to turn the lights off as he mentioned, "Sorry, babies; Low-Note Jones admits he may have made the lights and lasers a bit too bright."
Trollex then sheepishly commented while scratching the back of his head, "The lasers are my fault; I thought they weren't bright enough, so I added a bit of extra neon juice in them to give them an extra shine," while Beat added, "Though I think we added too much."
Aggie chuckled and said with a smile, "A bit? It was so bright, if the shine was a song, those lasers would be singing," before she sang, "Baby, when they look up at the sky, we'll be shootin' stars just passing by! You'll be comin' home with me tonight, and we'll be burnin' up like, neon lights"!
Trollex blushed a bit in embarrassment/fondness of his girlfriend's beautiful voice, as Melody said, "Those lights are great, but maybe try dimming them a bit? So we don't go blind? No offense."
Everyone nodded in agreement, with Low-Note saying, "You got it, babies," and started to quickly work on the lights.
Rhythm then got an idea, saying, "Hey, I was thinking: for this scene, maybe we should all kind of try to march in unison, but also step out, so the viewers can see each of us move in a unique way"?
Blues added, "Yeah, I like that! And maybe, when we do the "Robot arms" instead of just doing the traditional up and down, like on a toy robot, we can also make them move like this," before making her arms move like the ocean, making the girl group laugh.
Holly then added, "Yeah, aw laake this," and began to pump them while running backward, which only made the group laugh harder. Melody then said, "Ooh, or maybe this," before doing the reboot arms, but moving them as if she was swimming the backstroke, which made everyone in the room laugh.
Aggie commented, "Hilarious ideas! Though, maybe for the video, let's just keep it simple; we don't want to overcomplicate things, right"?
All six girls nodded in agreement, with Laguna saying, "Awww, that's too bad. i was so looking forward to doing this," while making her arms move up and down as if she was flapping wings, like a bird, which made the girl group laugh so hard, everyone was rolling on the floor in laughter.
Aggie then mentioned, "I think this is the most fun I've ever had shooting a video with you guys"!
Blues added, "Yeah! It's not only our first, but so far, it's the most fun one we are doing too"!
As the girls soon recovered from their laughter, Low-Note soon got the lights working again, saying, "Systems are all set and funky, and we are good to go"!
Essence then approached the laughing group, saying, "Are you six ready too"? Everyone got up to their feet and said in unison while standing up, "We're ready"!
Back on the ground, Branch was working hard on video edits, with Tiny asking while watching, "So, Daddy's friend Branch, why are we making these edits for this video anyway"?
Branch answered, "It's like a way of making a video more fun. Plus, it can be pretty cool to do some edits, like this. See this? I'm right now working on the scene where the girls are driving onto the racetrack, right"?
Tiny looked on Branch's computer and saw the beginning of the video when the Dune Huggy was being driven onto the track. Branch then paused it and said, "Now, watch what happens if I copy this here," and copied the image of the girls on the Dune Huggy, and added while clicking a color pad to make the picture orange, "and I click this color pad here."
Tiny gasped in amazement, saying, "It's a brand new color right next to the original one"!
Branch nodded and said, "Yep, and I can keep doing this and make the copies multiple pictures, and also make them move at different times and placements, so it looks like the original Dune Huggy is racing them."
Tiny was really impressed, saying, "Woah-ho! Mad respect, Daddy's friend, Branch! This is gonna be a really awesome video," while blasting his airhorns.
A while later, after the scene was shot and the girls changed back into their regular clothing again, everyone had soon met up in Vibe City, in front of what looked like a huge dance club, as Poppy asked, "Uh, girls, what are we doing here"?
Aggie then said, "Well, since we had already shot the last scene of our video earlier when we were working with the Motor Bugs, we decided that for we wanted to shoot the final chorus scene, we wanted it to take place somewhere fun"!
Rhythm then said, "And then B and I remembered that we loved to go to this dance club a lot, and thought that a little scene of us dancing for the last chorus part would be perfect"!
Blues added, "Especially because nothing livens a video up like dancing"!
Holly then said, "But that's nawht all because we all got ayy lil' surprise faw y'all"!
Laguna then stated, "Since you all have been really helpful with helping us make our first music video, we wanted to do something nice for you all in return, something to show our gratitude."
Smidge asked, "A break inside," as Melody said, "Actually, not a break. We're gonna film the scene inside, but we want all of you in the video with us"!
Everyone all became excited as Synth exclaimed, "Us, yo?! In the video"?!
Prince D happily said, "Wow, man"!!
Dante exclaimed, "You're not joking about this, are you"?!
Troll Harmony shook their heads no, as Rhythm said, "It's no joke, y'all"!
Aggie mentioned, "Consider it our way of saying thank you to you guys for all of your help."
All of their friends happily smiled and together, they all gathered for a big group hug, with Trollex saying, "Ok, guys, let's go in and shoot a final scene together"!
With that, everyone cheered and went inside the dance club.
At night, later on, all of Trollstopia had gathered to the mushroom stage, where a Caterbus with a cloth movie projecting screen on its side was standing on the stage for all to see, while Poppy announced, "Ladies and gentle Thank you all for coming for tonight's special video premiere! You're all here to watch the first music video of Trollstopia's top girl group band: Troll Harmony, debuting their debut song, "Go"!
The spotlight shined on the girl group, who all smiled and waved at the loud and cheering audience, as Trollex, in the audience, shouted while pointing at Aggie, "That's my girlfriend up there, I love you, Aggie"!
Aggie blushed, hearing Trollex's shout, and blew a kiss at Trollex, making him blush and giggle, as all of the other leaders, ambassadors, delegates, and associates, cheered loudly too.
Poppy then said, "Now, without further ado, we hope you enjoy the music video"!
Poppy picked up the film roll that the music video was on and placed it into a Video Camera Bug, which projected the video onto the cloth for everyone to see, watch, and hear.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Go (from A.N.T. Farm (by the McClain sisters))~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The music video started out with an empty forest path at night, the sounds of crickets chirping, with nothing around to disturb the peace...or so it seems.
Slowly, shots exchange from the forest to the shot of purple glowing tires, then back to a bush, then at the back of a Motor Bug with blue wheels that someone was riding, then to a Grossum that peeked out of a bush and ran off, then to the handlebars/antennas of a Motor Bug with green wheels, which someone was holding onto as they turned the left handlebar/antenna and made the engine roar.
Then, as the shot returned back to the forest path, one by one, a Troll riding on a blue-and-gold Motor Bug with dark blue handlebars/antennas and pedals drove by, revealing six in total, while the singing in the background started to occur as each Motor Bug passed.
The first Motor Bug was one with red glowing wheels, then one with orange glowing wheels, then one with yellow glowing wheels, then one with green glowing wheels, then one with blue glowing wheels, and finally, one with purple glowing wheels.
All: (R and B: Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!) Go, go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go, go!
Then, the next shot that played was all six Beetle Bikes riding together side by side in a given order (purple, orange, blue, red, green, and yellow), their headlights flashing along to the beat of the music, while the drivers were all swaying along to the music.
All: (R and B: Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!) Go, go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go, go!
Then, the driver on the far left corner reached for the left side of its helmet and pressed a blue button that lowered the metallic lens that covered the helmet, revealing Rhythm's face, as the purple Funk Troll started to sing, while the other corresponding drivers, in order, while bopping their heads to the beat of the music, lowered their helmet lens and revealed to be the other members of Troll Harmony, revealing to be Holly, Aggie, Melody, Laguna, and Blues.
Rhythm: Everywhere I go, I hear the echo of a roar that keeps risin' on the horizon, un-yeah!
Blues: Walkin' down the street, I feel the energy the world is demandin'! The spaceship has landed!
In the next shot, all six girls made the glass lens on their helmets rise again, covering their faces, as they drove their Motor Bugs onto a ramp, which looked like it towered over a large, deep chasm, one at a time, performing cool aerial tricks, before landing safely on the ground and forming a circle while stopping their vehicles.
Melody and Aggie: Now, there's no goin' (Holly: Goin'!) back (Laguna: Back!), back (Holly: Back!), back (Laguna: Back!), back (Holly: Back!), back (Laguna: Back!), back! No, there's no goin' back (Holly: Back!), back (Laguna: Back!), back (Holly and Laguna: Back!), back, back!
Holly and Laguna: Now, there's no goin' back, back, back, back, back, back! No, there's no goin' back, back, back, back, back!
Then, all six girls took off their helmets, flipping their hair a bit while singing and remaining sitting on the Motor Bugs, moving as if they were still riding them.
All: I don't see red lights, I just see, "Go"! I don't do stop signs, I don't hear, "No"! Jump and don't look down, that's how you fly! There's no turnin' back, now it's win, or you die!
Then, all six girls got up from their Motor Bugs and walked forward before breaking into a coordinated dance.
All: Don't be scared, just go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go! Don't think about it, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!
Then, in the next shot of the music video, it played Troll Harmony inside the Dune Huggy, which was glowing brightly, as Laguna was driving it, while everyone else was wearing their shades and bopping their heads as their song played on the radio.
Laguna: Everyone I know feels like the planet's spinnin' faster and faster! Straight for disaster, no (Aggie: No-oh!)!
Holly: *tips her sunglasses low* Shine under the pressure 'cause the way we deal with you will define us! Pressure makes diamonds!
Then, the Dune Huggy drove onto a huge race track, racing against other multi-colored Dune Huggies, as they passed the other cars with ease, crossing the finish line first as the checkered flag waved around.
R and B: Now, there's no goin' (Melody: Goin'!) back (Aggie: Back!), back (Melody: Back!), (Holly: Ooh-ooh!) back (Aggie: Back!), back (Melody: Back!), back (Aggie: Back!), back! No, there's no goin' back (Melody: Back!), back (Aggie: Back!), back (Melody and Aggie: Back!), back, back!
Melody and Aggie: Now, there's no goin' back, back, back, back, back, back! No, there's no goin' back, back, back, back, back!
After Troll Harmony had "won" the race, the Dune Huggy drove off the racetrack and changed into a stage, where Troll Harmony was seen dancing and singing.
All: I don't see red lights, I just see, (Melody: Go-oh!) "Go"! I don't do stop signs, I don't hear, (Laguna: No-oh-oh!) "No"! Jump and don't look down, that's how you fly! There's no turnin' back, now it's win, or you die!
Don't be scared, just go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go (R and B: Hey...ee-eey!), go, go, go, go, go, go! Don't think about it, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go (Aggie: Ee-eeeh!), go, go, go!
The next shot that played was in Vibe Town, where all of the girls seemed to change into robots and slowly turned on, slowly marching forward in a robotic manner, dancing as they did so while displaying a laser light show that played while they passed.
Aggie: I feel it in the air, tonight! I'm seein' the light!
Holly, Laguna, Rhythm, and Blues: In the dark ignited!
Melody: And no one's stoppin' me! Now, I'm livin' my dream!
Holly, Laguna, Rhythm, Blues: And you're all invited!
The next shot that played was at a huge dance club, with the girls all dancing together on the dancefloor, which was glowing in rainbow colors, and Trolls, including all of their friends that helped them with the filming of the video, making cameo appearances, around them were dancing with them in their own unique way. Some of the cameos in the video included Trollex, who was DJing the music at the club, Synth, who was next to Trollex and pumping his arms in a raving motion, Cooper, who was dancing like an Egyptian, Satin and Chenille, who posed like models, Maddy, who slid to the side and smiled, Poppy, who swung her arms and smiled, Essence, who crossed her feet forward and spun, Dante, who was pumping his fist in the air, Branch, who was doing the Charleston, and even Delta and Gust, who were square-dancing on the floor as well.
All: I don't see red lights, (Rhythm: Oh-oh!) I just see, "Go"! I don't do stop signs, I don't hear, "No"! (Blues: Oh-oh-oh!) Jump and don't look down, that's how you fly! There's no turnin' back, now it's win, or you die!
(Melody: Oh-ohh!) Don't be scared, just go, go, (Holly: Go, go, go!) go, go, go, go, go, (Aggie: Go, go-oh!) go, go, go, go, go, (Laguna: Oh, yeah!) go, go, go, go! Don't think about it, go, go, (Rhythm: Don't think about it, go-oh!) go, go, go, go, go, go, (Blues: Oh, woah!) go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!
The scene then returned back to the parked Motor Bugs, as the girls were back into wearing their biking gear and approached their bikes, singing and marching in unison.
R and B: (Melody, Aggie, and Holly: Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!) Go where you go, go where you go (Laguna: No!), go, go where you go, go where you go!
Finally, it showed all six girls placing their helmets back on and all conjoining into a group fist bump before driving down the path again, as their Motor Bugs left a colored trail (purple for R, yellow for B, red for Melody, orange for Holly, green for Laguna, and blue for Aggie) while they drove away.
All: Go, go! (R and B: Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!) Go, go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go, go!
(R and B: Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go!) Go, go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh! Go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh!
The crowd went absolutely wild, cheering for how beautiful and fun the music video was, as Troll Harmony bowed in appreciation, before Melody took the microphone, saying, "Thanks, everyone! We had a lot of fun making this video"!
Rhythm then had the mic, saying, "And it was just as much fun getting to share to you our song as it was to make this video"!!
Blues added, "of course, we could not have done it alone"!
Laguna then added, "We had a wonderful crew who lent us a helping hand in the creation of not only the video, but also helping us with music and a lot of other essentials"!
Holly added, "Ayn' we want ta take ayy minute ta honor them raheet now"!
Aggie then said, "So, give a big round of applause to our video crew: the leaders, ambassadors, delegates, and associates of Trollstopia, our friends"!
A spotlight was shined on the group, who all saw the crowd cheering for them, as Aggie said, "Come on up, everyone, you deserve this too"! they all quickly ran up to the top of the stage and joined Poppy and Troll Harmony, with everyone bowing together as the crowd's cheers kept going, even as a fireworks display played in the sky to honor the occasion.
