Disclaimer- I do not own Trolls to Trollstopia in any way or form. Melody Song, Mal Shredder, Stereo, Twilight Tidepool, McJagger, and Buckaroo are my O.C.s and belong to me. Aggie belongs to I.M. Rally. I also do not own the songs and the lyrics that I use for this chapter today either. Now, let's get to it!
Poppy and Branch: You can do it solo!
Aggie and Trollex: But then you'd be all by yourself.
Stereo and Synth: (Synth: Yo!) So, it'd be more fun to share this one with someone else! (Tiny Diamond: Hit it, daddy!)
Rhythm, Blues, Quincy, Essence: Together, we will soar across the sky and beyond! (Prince D: To the great beyond!)
Holly Darling, Buckaroo, Delta Dawn: So, tune-up your voice!
Val Thundershock, Barb, and Melody Song: Stand up and sing along!
All: All different voices (Tiny Diamond: Everybody now!), our melodies ringing. We're living in harmony! Yeah, we're living in harmony! Our song is much stronger will every troll singing. We're living in harmony!
Currently, the leaders, along with Aggie, were all in the middle of a very important tribal meeting, talking to each other, discussing a myriad of different topics. Poppy was currently looking through a set of different papers, saying, "And we should also take into account the rise in friendships that has been increasing since the start of Trollstopia."
Delta added, "Lookin' at the data displays that there's been ayy huge increase in harmony ayn' a massive decrease in hostility."
Barb, however, didn't seem to be paying attention as she was busy using her guitar pick as a toothpick to pick out something that was stuck in her teeth. as she looked up, commenting in confusion while looking at Trollex, "Uh...i-is, is it your line"?
Trollex shrugged in confusion, answering, "I don't...uh, I don't think so," while Essence mentioned, "I-I'm sorry, whose line is it"?
Suddenly, a loud shout could be heard, screaming, "Cut"!
A bell rang and the scene widens, revealing that it wasn't actually taking place in the meeting house, but a movie set of the meeting house. The real location of this moment was at a very large film studio, and at the moment, Trolls left and right were hard at work filming or at least was filming. A male Funk Troll was also shown in the room, holding a microphone to collect sound while a red Techno Troll was behind a video camera, with two classical Trolls behind him while one was holding a walkie-talkie.
Meanwhile, a male Pop Troll who was the director, who also had yellow with purple hair, wearing red glasses, a gray shirt, and blue pants, came over to the leaders while holding a blue pamphlet book, which was actually a script titled "Trollstopia" as the Pop Troll declared, "That was Branch's line. Where's Branch"?
Branch then entered the scene room through the door, opening and closing it while saying, "Sorry I'm late; I was rewiring Gary while eating some fancy nuts someone left in a gift basket that was outside my dressing room."
The Pop Troll director sighed in defeat before announcing, "Maybe we should take a break, we've been having a long morning of rehearsals. All right, everybody, take five"!
Everyone got up from their seats and began to exit the scene while Poppy commented, "So, shall we get some lunch"?
Aggie nodded, replying, "Yeah, shooting scenes always make me work up an appetite."
As the group went to go get some food, Cloud Guy, who was strangely wearing a red tie around his neck, faced the fourth wall, saying, "Hi, fellow people. You might know me as the oh-so peppy cloud that is Cloud Guy, Branch's master of annoyance, and your general, everyday friendly neighborhood bipedal cloud with socks. But tonight, I'm here to take you behind the scenes on the set of "Trollstopia" live and in person. For the first time ever, you'll see what a typical production week is like for TV's 6th favorite Dreamworks franchise. So please join me as we go Inside "Trollstopia"!
The camera zoomed in on the current background scenery that the Trolls were previously filming in before zooming up at the lights, as the title, in big, bold letter, finally showed up.
Inside "Trollstopia"
Suddenly, Cloud Guy pulled out a large book that had a display of many photos that were taken displaying a lot of the crazy antics that have gone around during the filming process of the show.
One photo showed Quincy in his dressing room, looking at two hangers displaying his signature golden cape that a female Country Troll was showing to him, as he tried to choose between which cape to wear, currently not wearing one on himself.
Another photo showed Val, who was driving a studio cart around while holding a cup of cocoa in one hand and waving hi to a passing Classical Troll with the other, completely distracted, as one Rock Troll had accidentally spilled hot cocoa on his face while trying to dodge the cart, while another rock Troll was stepping back, clutching the script he was holding tightly, as two Techno Trolls, one male who was holding two scripts, and a female who watched the cart pass by, while a female Pop Troll laid helplessly on the ground after being hit by the cart earlier, and a bunch of papers were flying in the air around her, showing that it might've been her script that was also hit.
Another photo showed Synth in the green room, wearing a black bodysuit covered in white pom-pom dots while being held in the air with a bunch of strong wires, while Synth looked like he was getting very airsick.
In another photo, Holly was seen in her dressing room, currently, with her light blue hair loose and flowing down, while she sat in her chair, reading a magazine, while Poppy, Melody, and Dante had peeked their heads in, noticing Holly with her hair down, and looking at her in complete shock, without the female Country ambassador noticing, and behind the trio, Gust had also taken notice and looked at Holly with a huge blush on his face and his eyes in heart shapes.
Another photo showed Biggie by the concessions table, with a doughnut in his mouth, while he tried to stuff the rest of the doughnuts that were on the tray in his purple vest and his hair, while Mr. Dinkles sat on his shoulder, with its mouth full of doughnuts as well.
Another photo showed Trollzart talking to the musicians, who were looking confused as Trollzart was showing them a piece of sheet music he wanted them to play while trying to explain it.
Another photo was of Aggie and Trollex, who were sitting in dual studio chairs, looking at one another fondly and holding hands while blushing.
And finally, the last photo was of outside the studio, where a bunch of Trolls were all riding a tour bus and pointing at something excitedly. Guy Diamond, who thought the crowd was pointing and cheering for him, smiled and waved at the Trolls, but completely failed to notice that he was standing outside another studio entitled Bad Guys, which had pictures of what looked like a Wolf in a white suit ensemble, a Snake that wore a red Hawaiian shirt and a little hat on top of his head, a Pirahna with a spiky green mohawk that wore a white shirt, black overalls with red straps, and sneakers, a Shark that wore a red shirt with a brown leather jacket over it, black pants, and gray shoes, a Tarantula that was on his shoulders who wore a black T-shirt with colorful electronic music volume blocks on it, and matching black headphones around her neck, and an Asian Giant Hornet that had a wide white stripe in the middle of his thorax, his right antenna almost missing as it was just a stub (similar to Barb's ear), and wore a black t-shirt with orange swirls on it and a white lightning bolt in the middle, who was holding a dark orange helmet with a black swirl on it under his left arm while he was standing on the Pirahna's head.
After the photo montage ended, the scene then changed to Poppy, who was in her dressing room, talking to an interview, who was currently off-screen, while saying, "You know, I got to say, it's definitely not easy being such a large group of friends that also star in a cartoon series together, but you know, we make it work. All of us working together, making it the lively, fun, inclusive environment it is for people of all ages! We're not just about the music and the singing and the dancing, although it is a very pleasurable pastime. No, we also strive to teach the valuable lessons of friendship and harmony and living together among fellow peers that we share a heartfelt connection with in our community. But hey, don't take my word for it; you got to talk to our most unique and special Trollstopian."
The scene then showed Aggie, who was sitting in an easy chair in her dressing room while talking to the interviewer, saying, "Poppy's got you there; I love to help spread friendship and kindness to everyone I meet, and being on this show, it's been like a huge dream come true! I mean, not to brag, but I never thought I'd meet such a warm and loving group of Trolls like the Main Trolls. Every one of them are so much fun to hang with, well, most of them anyway. Creek can be a bit, oh, how do I put this gently? A bit of a self-absorbed jerk, But other than him, everyone else is so sweet and caring, especially Trollex."
Aggie started to blush while saying, "I know I say this a lot, but I really love Trollex. He's such a gentleman, and is so brave and funny and kind and, well, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, he's just so cute, I can't help but feel like squealing every time I think of him! Of course, on set, that little "quirk" can be very hard to control when I'm standing right next to him, or shooting a cute romantic scene with him, but I just push it down, do the scene, and after the shoot, I then take a minute to squeal loudly into my pillow, or something soft, to muffle its volume. The last time I let one occur without muffling it, it was so loud, we had to replace the windows. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that honestly, but, in the end, Trollex and I went out for ice cream, so it wasn't totally crazy."
The next scene showed Val, who was sitting in a studio chair in front of the previous meeting house background scenery, as she said, "Eh, I'm not one for sentiment, but I will admit this: it's great, you know, doing a show with your family. 'Cause what Troll doesn't want to go to the studio and have her friends all there? You know, and then you go home after a day of filming and rehersals and catch up with your friends. And then, uh, next day, same thing. Just trying to make it to the weekend, so you can, uh... spend some time with your friends. Isn't that the dream"?
Val then mentioned, "I know I don't sound as interested, but in reality, it's actually pretty nice, though you have to admit, sometimes, you want to do your own thing, you get what I mean? In fact," before she looked around and whispered, "I don't like to admit this, but secretly, when I'm not busy being filmed or hanging with my friends or rocking out, I have a part-time job as a DJ and play music at huge concerts."
Val then winked at the screen, saying, "Check me out when you can."
The next scene showed Branch, who was also sitting in a studio chair in front of some video cameras and lights, saying to the interviewer, "You know, it's definitely been quite a journey to get to where we are now. I mean, we've been in the business for over 5 years now, and ever since we've gotten such an extended cast of characters, it's become really much more fun to be working with them. I mean, we all sort of run certain things to keep the "ship" moving: Delta always insists us to come rehearse so no one misses out, Synth's positive energy makes it so much fun, and some of the crazy antics we get into, I mean, the list is so long, you could wrap it around you as a scarf and it'd cover your entire face. I mean, just last week, we were shooting this scene for Renaissance Uprising, and you know, originally, the horn wasn't supposed to get tied up, but it just seemed to happen by accident, and it actually resulted in a pretty funny laugh-out-loud moment. And working with Poppy, it's been such a dream, I mean, she's so beautiful and sweet and oh-so energetic, I can't help but love her. And to have our, what did you call it again? Our ship, the "Broppy" name it's dubbed, be one of the most well-known through the franchise, it's kind of an honor. I mean, who knew that we'd even come this far in the first place? and now, well, I've only heard that things are gonna grow from here, so I'll just hang on tightly and enjoy the ride there."
Outside the studio, where there are a bunch of trailer-themed caterbuses outside, Melody was sipping on a mug full of hot cocoa, as the interviewer, who was Cloud Guy as revealed by the voice that asked, "Now, I-I understand that the show was quite different when it started out, could you maybe fill us on what it was like in the beginning"?
Melody smiled and said, "Sure! First off, the people working on the show, so nice! I'm not kidding, they are a super sweet staff, and they're really, really talented in being able to help put this show together. Aggie and I even got to go have lunch with the heads of the studio yesterday, really nice people! We got to talking about a lot of different things, got to know each other, I mean, you should really talk to Liz and Rally when you can, They are the sweetest people you've ever met! And Aggie and I thought that we were great best friends? Those two are so close, always helping each other out and having a lot of fun together, I mean they're like a dream team! Second, Of course, things, in the beginning, were much different compared to now. You know, in the original pilot, I wasn't even supposed to show up until after my cousin went to Trollstopia. And you know, fun fact: I was actually supposed to have pink hair in the beginning, but the director thought purple would be a better contrast, and then when the pink highlights were introduced, well, it became the look you see me in now."
Inside one of the trailers, Trollex was sitting in a studio chair, talking to the interviewer while saying, "What's it like being the ruler of a type of music slowly growing more popular by the day? I'm not gonna lie, it has its ups and downs, but it's really cool from a whole perspective, because well, you just got to live in the music, that's what I like to say. You know, being on this show reminds me of a quote I heard about in MacTroll."
When Cloud Guy asked, "What quote," Trollex chuckled and scratched the back of his head nervously while saying, "Woah, I didn't even realize this was a trial. Uh, objection Your Honor," and nervously chuckled while smiling.
Meanwhile, another shot occurred by the concessions stands, with Dante getting some food to eat while saying, "You know, I've never admitted this to anyone, but back when this show was still in development, I wasn't even supposed to be an ambassador. In the show pitch, I was the Troll that would barge in, saying that I had terrible news to tell.
The shot then changed to see a group of Trolls all sitting by tables in front of the Trollstopia cafe.
"Oh my, I have come to bring terrible news to you," replied Dante dramatically, which made the Trolls all gasp in wonder and shock.
"Well, it can't be worse than what's in here," commented Branch, who was sitting while reading a magazine article.
The shot then reverted back to Branch at his interview spot, saying, "I ab-libbed that line for fun actually, though technically, I wasn't supposed to talk."
Meanwhile, Cloud Guy entered a brand new room, with the camera who was recording him following, as Cloud Guy explained, "But, you know, it's not just the Main Trolls who work hard to make Trollstopia what it is. Here in the props department, we get to see all of the staff members hard at work, making all of the props the Trolls use in each episode. Like right now, we're watching one worker polishing up the Dune Huggy," before pointing at the male Pop Troll, who was busy using a white rag to polish up the Dune Huggy and make it shine.
The worker then turned around, saying, "That's right, Cloud Guy. See, a lot of people don't realize that this baby is one of our proudest achievements. Not only is the Dune Huggy the latest and greatest in transportation technology, but it's also our go-to spot for convenient lattes," as he pressed a button on the dashboard that made a robotic hand appear and give him a coffee cup.
Meanwhile, Cloud Guy led the camera to another dressing room, opening the door, which revealed Tiny Diamond jumping on what looked like a trampoline, as Cloud Guy said, "Knock-knock."
Tiny happily replied, "One moment, CG," and flipped in the air before landing on top of a blue beanbag, happily sitting, while saying, "S'up"?
Cloud Guy then asked, "Hi, Tiny Diamond. Hey, I was just showing the viewers around "Trollstopia" and we'd thought we'd drop in and talk to you about the show."
Tiny then stood up on the beanbag, saying, "You want to talk about the show, anthropomorphic cloud person? I'll talk about the show, it's awesome! I mean, so many laughs, so many friends, all the sweets a Troll can eat? How much better can it get, man? Plus, ever since I watched, this show's allowed me to be able to work on a little side-job: a new rap album! I call it" The Tiny Star" coming out soon! Check it when you can! Bless up, Tiny out and chilling," as he laid back on the beanbag as a Classical Troll brought him a bowl of grapes, which Tiny picked one up from the bowl and ate it.
Cloud Guy then led the camera down a hall that modeled a lot of different props, including a puppet version of Branch, a broken electric guitar with torn strings, a large white cowboy hat with a string of wheat on it, a plush Puffalo doll, a bunch of old pictures of the different areas of Troll Kingdom on the wall, while he said, "But of course, every episode of "Trollstopia" begins with the writers, and here we are! The "Trollstopia" writer's room."
Leading the camera to a door that had a sign that read "Writer's room," he pushed the door open and inside revealed a long table with a multitude of different Trolls from different tribes sitting in the chairs, looking at their papers or writing something on clipboards, going over ideas on what they should write for the script.
Inside, the room was big and had a lot of different poster drawings for the show episodes, such as one where Branch, Val, Gust, Laguna, Aggie, and Melody were all hiding behind a table, looking at a Snug-a-lug that was standing on it, very scared. Another poster had the main Trollstopia poster, with Poppy and Branch up in the front, Aggie flying right above them, with Trollex floating beside her as the two held hands and made a heart shape with their tailfins, and then behind Poppy and Branch was Delta (who had her hands on her hips while smiling proudly), Barb (who was on her back, making a rocker's face while raising her right hand up high, making the Rock hand gesture, Trollzart, who was twirling his baton, and Quincy and Essence, who both peeked their heads out from behind Poppy and Branch, their heads and necks visible, while smiling. There were also open windows that gave way to a wondrous view, two whiteboards, currently written on and flooded with so many different ideas that could make possible episode ideas, and sitting right next to a Rock Troll writer was Cooper, who was talking to him.
While the camera got the full view of the writers at work, Cloud Guy said, "This is where the writers are hard at work with the show's talented cast."
Back with Cooper and the Pop Troll writer, the loveable Funk Troll stated, "Look, don't get me wrong, guys, I-I think it's hilarious, and-and I totally get that me being the fun-loving, huggable, hilarious Troll who sometimes isn't bright is what made me popular, but I think it would be funny if for once, I tell a joke that actually makes someone else walk into a room full of pies and get pies thrown onto them."
The writer then commented, "True, but you always seem to make whip cream a profitable fashion choice."
Cooper then got elated, saying, "Really? In that case, I'm in for it," and pulled out a pie tin full of whipped cream, throwing it onto his own face, and laughed, saying, "Sweet and stylish"!
In a new dressing room, Prince D, who was sitting in a chair, commented, "You know, Cooper isn't exactly the smartest Troll, but he sure is funny, and always finds a way to make any Troll smile. Even if they're feeling down and gloomy. A few days ago, I fell off my hoverboard by accident and banged my knee, and it hurt pretty bad, and it left me in a bit of a sad funk. *chuckles* See what I did there? Funk, because...*clears his throat* Anyways, I was feeling down, and then I saw my brother come up to me and he saw my plight. So, you know what he did next? He went to go get something and came back riding a Puffalo, that was on top of another Puffalo, and was playing the flute with his nose! It was so funny, I couldn't help but laugh, as he mentioned, "This song is for my brother because I love him," and he played the most hilarious song on that flute. He really made me feel so much better, and even after my leg healed, he still finds ways to make me and others laugh."
The shot then returned to Branch, who mentioned, "He said he wanted to take his fun "ability" on tour, and while a lot of Trolls thought that was just a rumor, I think it might be legit. I mean, he is Cooper, he can do anything."
Then, in a brand new shot, it showed Branch, who was holding a script in his hand, marching into the writer's room, looking very upset as Cloud Guy commented," As one of the stars of the show, Branch likes to stay involved with the writing process."
Branch then suddenly burst through the door, slamming the script onto the table, which startled the table of writers, as he said, "Ok, you guys, which one of you knuckleheads wrote this script"?!
No one dared to speak or breathe a word, until a male Techno Troll rose his hand, saying nervously, "Uh...I-I did," as Branch then asked sarcastically, "Oh, what'd you write on? Like on a piece pf paper"?
The Techno Troll nodded and said, "Uh, yeah," as Branch then asked, "So, you know a lot about papers"?
The Techno Troll nodded and replied, "Yeah," again before Branch calmly asked while holding up a paper with what looked like a drawing of him and Gary, asking, "Do you think this might be a good design for a birthday card"?
The Techno Troll looked at the picture and replied, "Um, maybe, depending on who it's for"?
Branch then pulled the paper away, saying, "Don't look at the drawing," before he announced to the rest of the writers, "And another thing: I read this piece of what you call a "Script" and it's only one page! That's not gonna cut it for the show"!
A male Funk Troll then said, "Chill man, that's just the cover. You can turn the page like so," and turned the cover page, revealing the page that had the title of the episode on it.
That didn't seem to make Branch feel better, as he placed his hands on his hips, saying, "Well, why are you hiding all of these pages behind the first page?! What's wrong with them? You know how it works: stand by your work or get out."
Branch then took a deep breath in and out before saying, "Look, don't get me wrong, I'm only tough on you guys because I want us to succeed, right"?
The video shot then showed Smidge, who was sitting at a lunch table, preparing to eat a sandwich, while saying, "Yeah, over the years, Branch has become like a total nightmare. I think the popularity of being a famous character has gone to his head."
It then showed Biggie, who was sitting in a studio chair in front of a sky background, with some lights laid out behind him, while he was holding Mr. Dinkles, as he said, "Don't get me wrong, Branch is a very nice guy. He's just a bit, hmmmmm, hard to work with at times, right Mr. Dinkles"?
The worm let out a "Mew" that made Biggie gasp and shout, "Mr. Dinkles, we do not say that on camera"!
When Cloud Guy asked, "What did he say, "Biggie answered, "Something very not Trolly."
A new shot then showed Guy Diamond, who was reading a script with a fellow cameraman, while saying, "Usually, I love to be in the spotlight, but over the past few years, it's been hard to shine like the star I am with Mr. Control Freak controlling everything, even who the spotlight should be on."
The camera shot then showed DJ Suki, who was on her wooferbug, adjusting some records on the turntables and giving them a scratch as she said, "I mean, he's no Creek, who basically sold us out to save his own skin, bu-but he is pretty bad."
A new shot involving McJagger, who was sitting in a chair outside his trailer, commenting, "I know Branch is tricky to work with at times, but he means well. i mean, he just wants the show to go well; doesn't everyone want that"?
A new scene then showed Barb, who was sitting in her dressing room, strumming her guitar, while saying, "He basically refuses to interact with any actors or actresses on set, and will only rehearse with helium balloons that has our pictures on it. Like how insanely messed up is that? I mean look at this," as Barb pulled out a Video Camera Bug that played footage of a rehearsal scene, which was taking place at Branch's bunker, and inside was a balloon drawn to look like Gust, tied to a walkie-talkie, and another one with a balloon drawn to look like Minuet, also tied to a walkie-talkie.
It showed Branch reading a script while saying, "Look, it's settled: I'm not going."
Then, the walkie-talkie with Gust replied, with Gust's voice, "But Branch, it's ayy birthday party, y'all ken't miss it. Ovuurr," and the walkie-talkie screeched, as the one with the Minuet then activated, as Minuet's voice said, "Yes, why would you want to not go? Over."
Then, a walkie-talkie with a balloon drawn to look like Synth floated down a made-up elevator shaft, saying with Synth's voice, "Hey, Dubstep. Want to rave? Over."
Barb then closed the Video Camera Bug, saying, "Case closed," as a new scene showed Synth, who was lying on a beach chair, with Stereo lying on a beach chair next to him, wearing sunglasses over her eyes, while Synth said, "It wasn't easy having to not be there in person, but that's the business they call show."
Synth then ducked his head when he saw two Classical Troll workers flying over him, carrying a large statue, while the female said, "Pardon us, Synth."
Stereo then sat up, lowering her sunglasses while saying, "His behavior has been alarming for quite some time, and it's not always easy to handle."
The scene then returned to Melody, who was still by the concession stand, saying while raising her mug of hot cocoa, "Word around the stage is that they finally decided to fire Branch and replace him with another Troll," while the next scene showed Delta, who was sitting in her dressing room, with curlers in her hair while Clampers was below her, chewing on some licorice, "Ayn' this taame, it's permanent, nawht laake the time ol' Buckaroo went ta do some scene shooting spree aw somethin' laake that."
A new scene showed Buckaroo, who was galloping on a treadmill while saying, "It was actually the scene sequence faw when ay sang "Unduur Pressuurr" faw "The Case ov the Plunged Puffalos." Fun fact: ay actually dislocated my back left leg when ay first tried ta walk on the taaghtrope faw that shot, ayn' it took a bunch ov traaes ta get it raheet."
Then, it next showed Aggie and Trollex outside, sitting in chairs in front of some trailers, with Trollex saying, "It's actually pretty awkward; I mean, Branch is the only one in the whole production who doesn't know he's being fired," before Aggie added, "But he's gonna find out tomorrow at the table read."
Suddenly, both Trolls saw a zip line be shot across from them as Low-Note Jones, who was dressed in a Batman-themed costume, was grabbing onto the rope, slowly pulling himself forward, while marching, to make it seem like he was climbing the rope, as he faced the camera, saying, "Ha ho, baby; I bet you didn't know how they shot this original scene? Well now you do, courtesy of a lesson from Low-Note Jones himself," and continued to march forward, while Aggie and Trollex watched in confusion.
The next day was labeled "Tuesday: Table Read" as it first showed a shot outside the Trollstopia theater, with a picture of all the Trolls happily hugging together, before it showed the inside of a new room with an even bigger table and a bunch of more chairs.
The writers and the cast were all sitting together, with scripts in front of them, as Cloud Guy stepped in front of the camera and said, "The table read is where the "Trollstopia" cast read aloud the week's script to see how the story and the lines are working, and where Branch will learn that he is being written off the show."
Once everyone was settled, a Country Troll that had on a gray T0shirt, blue jeans, a red cowboy's hat, short brown hair, a matching goatee, and glasses on his face, declared, "Ok, y'all, welcome ta today's table read faw this week's episode "Branch Gets Lost (We're Really Serious, No Joke, He Gets Lost, and He ain't Coming Back, Except He Will, But Differently)."
Branch then said, "Oh, and don't forget; there are more pages behind the cover, just in case you didn't know."
The Trolls all groaned in unison, as Poppy, who kept trying to be supportive, said while turning the page of her script book, "Thank you, Branchifer."
The director then said, "Okay, y'all, let's start. Exterior, outside the meeting house, day, the whole gang is outside of the meeting house, watching the clouds, Poppy enters, looking upset and sniffling."
Poppy looked at the script, reading her line, before starting to make a sniffling sound, as Aggie, whose line was next, said, "Poppy, what is wrong"?
Poppy then said, "You guys, I have terrible news: Branch is lost in the forest! He disappeared while hunting down a nearby bird that was swooping by his bunker! I guess he still had unfinished business with them, and now, they finished his."
Branch, who was shocked to read this, commented, "Wait, I'm...I'm gone?! Oh wait, everyone's probably gonna go out and find me."
Then, Barb spoke up, saying, "Guys, there's a huge thunderstorm coming that looks very dangerous, too dangerous to go find Branch, and very long too. We should stay inside them meeting house until the storm passes, which might take forever."
Branch started to get nervous, nervously chucking while saying, "Very funny you guys, I-I bet this is all a dream, right Riff"?
Riff then said for his line, "Wow, I am wide awake, or something like that."
Branch now was feeling worried, saying, "Ok, but there's no way this is real because if it were, then they'd have to bring in someone to replace me"!
On cue, the director then read in the script, "Suddenly, the door opens, revealing ayy wet, but firm Hickory, who was in his cowboy outfit, hanging his head low."
Hickory, who was wearing an outfit just like Branch's leaf vest and cloth shorts then spoke up, saying, "Hey, y'all," as everyone, except the real Branch, shouted together, "Hickory" while his brother, who watched jealously, commented, "Nein! Why is my older brother the new Branch"?!
Hickory then said, "Ay'm sorry, but ay couldn't faand him, ay'm afraid he's gone." Everyone, except Branch again, pretended to sigh sadly and feel sad, as Poppy then said, "Aww, poor Branch"!
Hickory then said, "But don't worry, ay'll make sure none ov us evuurr get lost laake that again." The director then said, "On cue, the Hug Watches ding, signifyin' it is Hug Taame."
Aggie then shouted, "Hug Time," and everyone hugged themselves to imagine that they were hugging each other, while the director read, "The group cheers, ayn' do nawht miss Branch."
Branch, however, felt completely shocked by what was going on, unsure of the actual truth behind what had happened.
After the table read, the staff had left the room, leaving the cast and the director, with a Pop Troll worker, only, as the director said, "We're sorry Branch, but the producshun just ken't deal with all ov your nonsense an'mawe. We're lettin' ya go."
Branch, however, didn't want to lose his acting job, pleading, "No, please, just give me another chance"!
The director sighed and said, "Whel, alraheet, one mawe chance," and not even within 2 seconds, Branch stood up, shouting, "Check, please"!
That seemed to upset the director, who shouted, "Alraheet, that's it! You're faared," as Branch then faced his friends, saying, "And you're all ok with this"?!
Poppy stood up and hugged Branch, saying, "We're sorry, sweetheart; this is painful for all of us, but we just don't see another option."
Aggie then mentioned, "Yeah, Branch, we love you, a-and you're still our friend and part of our friend group, just not part of the show."
Tiny then said, "Look, it's hard, daddy's friend Branch, but maybe it's for the best."
Branch, however, was very livid, as he turned to the director and his worker, saying, "Alright, fine, you guys can fire me, but at least I'm leaving here with my dignity"!
With that, Branch exited the room and started to walk through the studio, giving affirmed nods to everyone he saw, as they all nodded back.
Soon, he approached a wormhole that was the portal back to the real Trollstopia, as a Rock Troll worker saw Branch and saluted him, saying, "Have a good life, M. B. Your remote is out."
Branch saw Gary close to slipping out of his pocket and caught him, saying, "Thanks," before he hopped into the portal and returned to the real-life Trollstopia, heading to his bunker.
The next day, back in the studio world, it showed a large crane a Funk Troll was controlling to replace Branch's face with a picture of Hickory's face, while Cloud Guy approached the camera, facing it while saying, "Welcome back to "Inside Trollstopia"! I'm your host and angel guardian of the world's most complicated handshake, Cloud Guy. Boy, we picked quite a week to document the production of a Trollstopia episode. Yesterday, Branch was fired from the show and replaced by Hickory. Given this surprising development, we decided to follow Branch, and see if our cameras could capture his story, as well."
The scene then changed to real-life Trollstopia, showing a shot of Branch's bunker while Cloud Guy said, "We find ourselves at Branch's special, impenetrable (not true BTW) bunker, where I have housed many times to pull my best pranks on him."
Inside the bunker, Branch was reorganizing his rations collection, when he looked up and saw Cloud Guy and the cameraman, as Branch growled, saying, "Cloud Guy, how do you keep getting into my bunker?! And how did you bring this guy in"?!
Cloud Guy's voice replied, "Easy, Brancharoo, it's just for the story development, and maybe to catch you falling on your butt like a clumsy oaf."
Branch groaned and said, "I wouldn't even fall if I-AHHH," before accidentally slipping on a piece of moss and tripping, falling down on his butt before catching the jar that slipped from his hands.
Cloud Guy's laugh could be heard on the camera while Branch groaned and got up, placing the jar back while Cloud Guy asked, "So, Branch, So, what's your plan? Are you going to be staying here in your cozy abode for a while?
Branch replied, "Yeah, well, I figured if my friends don't want me on the show, there's no reason I should keep staying at the studio with them. I-I mean, there's no hard feelings, um, I just feel like this is best for me, and this is best for them, despite it being very upsetting."
Cloud Guy then asked, "And what's next for you, Branch, or is being an underground bunker dweller gonnas be your thing? Oh wait, isn't it already"?
Branch facepalmed before saying with a hopeful smile, "Well, starting tomorrow, I'm getting back out there. I think I'll try music, I mean, I do have a pretty good singing voice. In fact, on my way here, I wrote this little ditty to express my infinite love for my wife. Perhaps maybe you can provide some feedback," before spinning around and wearing a fancy tuxedo with a blue bowtie, his hair swooshed back, and a microphone in hand, as he commented, "Let's see Poppy try to fancy up for a song as quick as me," before he started to sing and dance, turning on a radio to play a song.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Suit and Tie by Justin Timberlake~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Branch: I can't wait 'til I get you on the floor, good-looking! Going out so hot, just like an oven! Trying not ta burn myself, but you just look so fine! It's so fly and it's all mine!
Hey baby, we don't mind all the watching, hi! 'Cause if they study close, real close, they might learn something (How to be fancy, folks!)! Her beauty shines as bright as diamonds, and gets my heart beating when she flaunts it! She's so fly (she's so fly) tonight!
And as long as I've got my suit and tie, I'ma leave it all on the floor tonight! Feeling slick and fresh and super fine! Let me show you how I do this! (Show you how I do this!)! All pressed up in black and white, and you're dressed in that dress you like! Love is swinging in the air tonight! Let me show you how I do this!
Branch ended with a pose, asking, "Well"? Cloud Guy's voice replied, "Hmmm, needs work," which made Branch scowl and groan in frustration.
Back in the studio world, the camera scene showed the outside of the studio again, with the new picture of Hickory's face already secured in the group picture before it showed the inside. The scene was currently showing the director sitting in a chair, watching the rehearsal scene going on, while the Trolls that were cameramen were using their cameras to record.
On set, which was currently at Rock Hollow, Val, Barb, Riff, and Demo were all playing their instruments while Poppy, Hickory, Melody, and Trollex were watching, with Trollex pretending to feel uncomfortable and covering his ears. While this went on, Cloud Guy stepped in front of the camera that filming the filming process and instructed, "Wednesdays are rehearsal days here at "Trollstopia" and the first rehearsal with Hickory appears to be going very well."
Back on the film site, Aggie soon flew into the scene, with Holly, Trollzart, and Synth following her, while she asking, "Hi guys, what's happening"?
Poppy then read her script, saying, "Barb wanted to show us that they could play their instruments really hard," while Melody added, "Yeah, they play as hard as rocks."
Hickory then did a charming smile while saying, "Don't you "as hard as "Hard Rocks"?
Holly and Synth couldn't keep it together, as they thought the joke was so funny and broke into laughter, as Holly said, "Oh my stars! Ay'm sorry, ay just," and kept laughing.
Synth added mid-laughter, "Did you see the way he smiled like that before saying that joke, yo? It's like you can tell it's gonna be so funny once he says it, and he makes it seem so smooth"!
Trollex then said, "Man, he sure knows how to fit in well for every scene; and he does it all with a charismatic charm"!
Melody crossed her arms while saying, "Yep, no wonder he is an awesome Bounty hunter"!
Back in the real-life Trollstopia, Branch was busy sitting in his easy chair with a cup of hot cocoa in hand, saying, "You know, I got to say, I'm having a blast. Now that I'm no longer tied down by the show, it's given me more time to pursue my true passion: which at the moment, is taking a moment to relax and unwind with a nice cup of cocoa. Oh, and I wrote another little ditty, to see if I can further my music. Tell me what you think," as he hopped down from the chair, placing his mug on the table, before pulling out his red electric guitar.
He connected it to his Speaker Bug, gave it a strum, and started to sing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Mirrors by Justin Timberlake~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Branch: 'Cause I don't wanna lose you now! I'm lookin' right at the other half of me! The vacancy that sat in my heart is a space that now you hold! Show me how to fight for now! And I'll tell you, baby: it was easy comin' back here to you once I've figured it out! You were right here all along!
'Cause, it's like in my mirror (Oh)! My mirror staring back at me (Oh)! I couldn't get any bigger (Oh)! With anyone else beside me (Oh)! And now, it's clear as this promise that we're making! Two reflections into one! 'Cause, it's like in my mirror (Oh)! My mirror staring back at me, staring back at me!
Branch posed with the guitar, saying, "Was it better this time"? Cloud Guy shrugged and meekly replied, "Eh, I've heard better if you want me to be honest," as Brnahc once again groaned, commenting to himself, "Why did I even ask for his opinion in the first place"?
Back in the studio world, it once more displayed first outside the studio, with a new label that said "Thursday: Pre-shoot" before the inside, which took place by a bunch of cameras and new background scenarios. Meanwhile, Cloud Guy was standing in front of the documentary camera, saying, "Thursdays at "Trollstopia" are reserved for shooting all those flashbacks we love so much, and what most people don't know is that all these gags are directed by a fellow Troll with a video camera."
Then, Cloud Guy noticed something on off-screen, making him laugh while saying," What's that? I'm sorry. Apparently, I misread the cue card. They're directed by this fellow Troll with a video camera," before the view showed a green female Techno Troll with headphones on.
Cloud Guy asked her, "Tell us, how'd you get the gig," as she replied, "I act as a part-time entertainer for the little kids, and they love it," as Cloud Guy smiled and replied, "What a wonderful Trollywood story"!
Then, the green Techno female stated, "You know, many viewers think our flashbacks are just whipped together, but they actually go through a rigorous testing process before filming."
Behind a huge wall background, a Rock Troll was saying to an audience of Troll workers, "And then, she slides on her knees and slips on stage, to show just how slippery it is, and how tricky it is to nail a slide like that mid-performance."
A Funk Troll seemed to find it funny as he chuckled, making the Rock Troll say to a female Classical worker that was fluttering next to him, "They love it! Tell the director"!
By the concessions table outside, Hickory was serving himself some lunch while cloud Guy stated off-screen, "Meanwhile, Hickory is easily adjusting to the new role and really making an impact for others."
Hickory placed a piece on his plate while talking to Buckaroo, saying, "Hey, lil' lady, you definitely do raise a point there. Yeah, I'll definitely talk to the writers. I agree, there's a lot about your character that's still untapped."
Buckaroo smiled and tipped her hat towards him, saying, "Yeah, y'all, because, sure ay'm ayy tomboy, a gool ol' farmuurr's gerl, ayn' the gosh darn best detective around, but there's still a lot mawe to me that ay want ta show, y'all get what ay mean"?
Hickory nodded, saying, "Totally," as Buckaroo replied, "Thanks, Hickory."
Suddenly, she heard the director call for Buckaroo, who shouted, "Ay'm comin'," and galloped over to him.
Back in the real-life Trollstopia, the shot was, at the moment, with Branch sitting at a picnic table alone, as Cloud Guy's voice said off-screen, "Unfortunately, not everything is going so well for Branch." Branch was toying with a cupcake he had in his hands sadly, missing his friends so much.
Cloud Guy asked him, "What's wrong? Don't you feel hungry," while Branch looked up and replied, "Huh? Oh yeah, I am, I just...seeing this cupcake reminds of Poppy and my friends. And I miss them so much. It's not the same, and...I feel so alone."
Back in the studio, it was finally Friday night, which was labeled "Friday: Tape Night" and while it was nighttime outside, inside the studio, it was bright and bustling. A huge crowd of Trolls was sitting in the audience as everyone was preparing to start filming. Meanwhile, Cloud Guy faced the camera, saying, "Friday night is tape night here at Trollstopia, but tonight, they'll be filming the show without Branch."
In Quincy and Essence's dressing room, Quincy mentioned, "It sure feels different making an episode without Branch," while Essence added, "Yes. It definitely feels strange and you know, we can't help but miss him."
Gust, who was placing his badge on in his dressing room, commented, "He always found ayy way ta make the audience laugh ayn' have ayy good taame."
Over in her dressing room, Laguna was currently running a brush through her hair while saying, "I'm especially gonna miss Branch's t-shirt cannon gag, where he uses this cool T-shirt launcher that R and B built to fire custom-made Trollstopia themed t-shirts into the audience. It's quite enjoyable to watch."
The video then shot to what looked like a background of Poppy's pod, with Poppy and Hickory inside, as Cloud Guy's off-screen voice stated, "And with regard to Branch's replacement, well, as his parents and previous co-stars have learned, a little of Hickory goes a long way."
On the set, the director instructed to Hickory, "Okay, now remember, y'all are askin' Poppy how is she doin'. Go again."
Hickory smiled at Poppy and said, "Hey there, Poppy. How y'all doin' on this faane day"? The director sighed in slight frustration while saying, "Okay, we can trim that in editin'."
Later, in a video shoot after, Poppy explained, "Hickory is doing really well, and he's been wonderful to work with, but it's not the same with filming scenes like that with Branch. With Branch, it's more humble and down to earth, plus, with our romantic chemistry, we allow ourselves to really come to our elements. With Hickory, as much as I don't want to say it, it feels like filming with...an acquaintance," before shuddering, mentioning, "I get shudders of even uttering that word."
Meanwhile, back in the real-life Trollstopia, Branch was walking into the library as cloud Guy's off-screen voice stated, "Meanwhile, Branch has wound up visit the scrapbook library, where dozens of scrapbooks rest to be read and created by many talented hands."
Branch was aimlessly looking at the many books before he accidentally tripped on one that was on the floor. When he sat up to look at it, it wasn't just any book; it was a photo book containing lots of pictures.
Branch curiously picked it up and looked at it before his eyes became dazed, as it was a lot of pictures with him spending time with his friends, doing lots of various activities together. but the most important takeaway from that was that, seeing all of his friends together, with him, it made Branch realize how important his friends really were to him...and he needed them just as much as they needed him. With determination renewed, Branch stood up and said out loud, "That's it! I'm done with this sad business; I am taking back my Tv show and my friends"!
Branch ran out of the library and hopped into the portal that led him to the studio lot, as he approached the female Country Troll officer, saying, "Hey, Sammy, I'm here to get my show back"!
However, the officer sadly replied, "Ay'm awful sawry, Mr. Wood, but we have specific orduurrs nawht ta let ya onto the lot."
Branch gasped and exclaimed, "Seriously"!?
The officer thought about it before saying, "Whel, ay suppose, y'all could come inside if ya had an idea faw ayy show the heads of the network wanted to buy."
Branch thought about it, coming up with an idea, before a new scene showed Branch coming out of the heads' building, saying to the camera, "I didn't even need to share an idea; I just asked, "Could I come back" and they said yes! And it also helped me get onto the lot."
Branch ran to the studio and entered inside, bustling through the background set door of the meeting house, where everyone currently was, as Branch exclaimed, "All right, stop the show"!
Everyone looked up happily to see Branch as Poppy exclaimed, "Branch, you're back," and gave him a huge kiss, making Branch blush and become a bit doozy before he snapped back into it, saying, "Yep, I'm back, and guys, I have something I need to say. I've been a real jerk... to you guys, and to all the union fat asses that I assume do something to keep this thing going. The fact is, I got too big for my britches, but I know now that I'm nothing without all of you."
Everyone thought that Branch's words were very touching, as Tiny commented, "Aw, that's nice of you to say, daddy's friend Branch."
Branch happily replied, "Thank you, Tiny, and if you guys can find it in your hearts to take me back, well, then I promise that every day I'll prove to you how much the show, and how much my friends, means to me."
Poppy smiled, saying, "Oh Branch," while Synth said, "Of course we'll take you back, Dubstep," while Aggie said, "We missed you," as everyone gathered, enveloping Branch in a big group hug.
Then, Demo commented, "Wait a minute, if Branch's back now, what are we gonna do about Hickory"?
Luckily, Hickory didn't seem to mind as he tipped his hat while saying, "Actually, ay don't maand at all. Branch ken fill the main role ayy lot bettuurr than ay evuurr could. Ay may be charmin' ayn' smart, but he's brave, loyal, and a above all, has the best gosh dark bunkuurr evuurr in the world. He deserves this. Besaades, ay just faane appearin' every now ayn' then."
Hickory stepped back from the shooting site to watch as Branch then said, "So, all right, let's do a show. Oh, wait, if my character's still around and not lost, that means we don't have a script to shoot."
Luckily, Poppy reached into her hair and pulled out an extra script, saying, "Oh wait, we actually have an extra script right here"!
Branch read it excitedly, saying, "Branch, Don't Fail Me Now. Wow, this might mean I'll get to be a teacher! Oh wait, I have a goatee up till the first 3 minutes, and then I'm a teacher."
A quick shot with DK Suki in her dressing room was shown as she explained, "Every week, Branch becomes a diva so the writers write a fake script, writing him off. He storms out, then by Friday's taping, comes crawling back, and we shoot the real script."
Then, another shot showing Trollzart who was with Minuet, as both were flying above some cameras, as Trollzart said, "Of course, he always forgets by Monday and then the cycle starts all over again."
Minuet then added, "Indeed, and while some may call it chaotic, it's just how we roll here. Is it troublesome that this happens every week? Why don't you talk to our golden instruments," before the camera widened to show a set of golden instruments by a chair, including a gold violin and a gold cello.
Finally, the scene displays everyone bowing to the audience together, as the audience cheers loudly for the Trolls.
They even tossed roses at them, while the director came forward and gave Branch a bouquet of roses, which he happily accepted while the crowd kept cheering, as Cloud Guy's off-screen voice said, "So, I guess this actually was a very typical week on the set of "Trollstopia". Thanks for joining us. I'm Cloud Guy, and we'll close tonight with a supercut of every time in the show's history that Creek was hit in the nose with a bag of pebbles.
