"Whoa...giant robots!" Luffy said as some of the guys were looking at large mechs.
"Oh those? Yeah...those are pretty common for competitions and stuff." Jet said.
"There are sectors that use these mechs for long-scale wars. Ah, nothing like bringing out laser swords in space." Mayumi said.
"This reminds us a lot about the IGPX we competed in a while back." Cheetah said.
"I know what you mean. I mean, yeah, it was a bit shorter than we expected at first glance, but that was mainly because of Diablo. Still, for what it was worth, it was a blast." David said.
"That felt so long ago, time really flies when you're having fun." Ace said with a fond smile.
"As the old saying goes." Mayumi said. "That competition was so intense. It was unlike anything I ever felt before."
"I'll say, that competition proved how skilled of a mech pilot you are." Cheetah said.
"Speaking of which, I wonder when you guys are gonna enter the IG-2?" Hope asked. "That's where all the official IGPX teams duke it out for the most part. Black Egg, Skylark, Egaraid…"
"Hope, you're getting ahead of yourself. That's the IG-1. The IG-2 is more of a qualifier." Fulgore said.
"Oh, sorry. I guess I was excited for some of you guys to compete on that level." Hope said.
"Heck...we may never compete on that level at all." Poison Ivy said.
"She may have a point there. Competition there is top-tier. Only the best of the best can qualify for it." Sectonia said.
"And unfortunately, unlike the other levels, spots in the IG-1 are very limited." David said. "Last-place teams get demoted back to the IG-2 just to make room for new teams."
"You guys seem to know a lot about this kind of competition." Nesma said.
"Well, we happened to work for a Paranormal Investigation Agency, and Emi has eyes all across the Multiverse. So we happened to get this info from a friend of a friend of a friend." David said.
"But anyway, I've been told about some of these other Robot fights you've been in as well." Cheetah said.
"Yeah, the IG isn't the only thing we've done. On multiple occasions, we've had the fortune, or maybe misfortune once, to be part of a large-scale battle between Gundams." Hope said.
"Yeah… Not our finest moment." David said. "But that's nothing compared to you, Cheetah. You and your group have been in both Bloody Valentine Wars."
"Yep. We sure did." Agito said. "Honestly, we weren't sure we'd be able to manage it at some points during the first war."
"But you guys did pull through, after all you're still here." Hope said.
"Yep. We sure did. Heck, the second time around, David here came in for the assist." Jessica said.
"Ooooh, so that was the side trip you guys were talking about." Ethox said.
"Yeah. It was after we intended the school festival to get our bearings straight with our class." Sachiko said. "Meanwhile, these guys had a run in with an...old acquaintance, so to speak."
"Does the name...Wario, mean anything to you guys?" Guy asked.
"Wario? Him?" Hope asked. "Never thought you guys would team up with him."
"Trust us, it wasn't by choice." Captain Cold said. "Long story short, a dark jewel he snagged a while back came alive and we had to destroy the thing and get his fortune back."
"Yes, exactly that." Cheetah said. "Though, chances are he likely blew it all on his company's next game or something along those lines."
"Company?" Pyrrha asked.
"Wario runs a game company called WarioWare Inc where he runs it with his friends...rather people he scams into working for him." Pit said.
"Yeah, hard to believe those were how we ended up meeting each other for the Second Bloody Valentine War." Mayumi said. "I tell you, our lives have gone pretty crazy traveling along all of those worlds."
"Yeah...we seem to end up meeting a lot of crazy people along the way." Jexi said.
"Though, it wasn't all bad. We still had a lot of fun experiences." David said.
"That we did. What will happen next is up in the air at this point." Fulgore said, looking at the mechs and robots around the streets. "This universe holds a lot of possibilities for the future of the others. Possibilities that very few will be able to live to see."
"Yeah, that's just how life works sometimes." David said.
"And who knows who else we'll meet on our journeys, for any of us in the future." Hope said.
"Well there are some points out there. Lots of unfinished businesses out there." Jexi said.
"And it won't just be us. Our descendants will be taking adventures like this as well, shall their time ever come." Sectonia said.
"Hm? Hey, Barbara. Check this out." David said looking to a statue of the Apex Predator Gundam.
"Apex Predator Gundam… That's your Mobile Suit, isn't it?" Leopardmon asked. "Seems like those Bloody Valentine Wars left an impact already."
"Looks like it." Cheetah said.
"We all know a certain someone that isn't going to be happy about that, but… We'll worry about that when we actually meet them ourselves." David said.
"Honestly, I was surprised they had a robot and mech exhibit here." Hope said. "Makes you wonder what else they've got here. Let's keep looking around."
"Agreed. This is exciting!" Entrapta said as they pressed forward.
