"Ngh… Just four fighters and we've already racked up a lot of prize money." Dynasmon said as he was carrying a bag containing the previous fight's prize money.

"Is it really that heavy, Dynasmon?" Fulgore asked.

"Need some help with that?" Saki added.

"Nope. I think I'm good. Besides… It makes for good strength training." Dynasmon said.

"How big are these bags exactly, anyway?" Ross asked.

"There was a million in the first bag but each fight kept doubling it." Meowth said.

"That much money? Holy crap, man!" David said. "So let's see… That makes 15 million so far."

"Yeah...it's a whole lot of money." Subaru said.

"It doesn't seem to be a problem for some of us." Hope said.

"Yes, some of us aren't interested in doing this for the money to start with." Cheetah said.

"Yeah...for some...it's more about the thrill of the fight than the actual money." Lycan said.

"Still, think about the upgrades that could be made with all of the money we've accumulated in this whole tour." Fulgore said.

"Yes, it certainly would be fruitful to upgrade some of the facilities on the ship." Lei said.

"That would be cool, but I think the Galaxy King is pretty awesome already." Hope said.

"Yeah...we don't need to upgrade anything." Jexi said. "It's already at its top capacity. If anything, it'll just be added to the treasury."

They continued on until they reached the 5th arena.

"So who wants to go next?" Ajna asked.

"I think I know two people that would like to see how they stack up against martial artists…" Leopardmon said. "Hmm… Tell you what, Cheetah. Why don't you take this bout, and David can take the next one?"

"Wait, can David even handle this place physically?" Rayleigh asked. "I'm asking because I'm looking at him, and… Sorry to say, but he doesn't look like much of a physical fighter."

"Don't worry. He'll be fine." Cheetah said.

"A wild animal has wandered into the arena! A murderous fiend who is under the guise of redemption but in reality is searching for her next prey. She's a new face here. The Cheetah. Barbara Minerva!" Chi Ta said as the audience applauded.

"Hmm…. if you think about it, her name is a lot similar to mine." Cheetah said.

"Yeah… That's just how the Chinese language is. It's kind of funny sometimes, really." Ming said.

"And her opponent! The strongest government force has set foot in the arena! An iron fortress that lets no man pass! A strong steady heart that is the strongest metropolitan police force. The man who commands the riot squad. With a match record of 42+ wins, 1 loss. The Executioner! Seishu Akoya!" Chi Ta called out as a large man in a white gi marched into the arena.

"Oh man… I can tell from the look on his eyes. This is going to get ugly, real quick." David said.

"This guy huh?" Spade said with a glare.

"The match will now begin." Chi Ta said.

"I will now execute justice." Akoya said, raising up an arm.

"You remind me of someone an acquaintance of mine despises." Cheetah said. "Suffice to say, I will most likely enjoy this."

Cheetah moved in first as the man used his arm to block her strikes with ease with minimal damage, even with her claws.

"What is that? He's just keeping that arm up like a shield." Dan said.

"It's suppression. Like how riot squads handle things." Ranma said.

"Police officers have gotta know martial arts too. And when it comes to cops with great hand to hand combat skills, Akoya is probably the best of the best." Mayumi said.

"Yeah, but for someone like him, he needs someone to keep his violent nature under control." Spade said.

Cheetah moved in for another strike but Akoya pulled the opposite arm back and punched, leaving a scratch on Cheetah's body.

"What the? But I thought weapons were banned?" Theo asked.

"They are...he did that with his knuckles." Ranma said.

"It's a technique known as Ripper." Saki said.

Cheetah wiped her arm. "You made me draw blood. Clearly you're a special type of man to do that."

"I know of the crimes you have committed. You shall now pay for your sins." Akoya said, rapidly striking at her side.

"He's putting on so much pressure. Even though Cheetah's been going straight, he doesn't see that." Hope said.

"Yeah...see...that man was banned from the matches for awhile cause he tried to kill one of his opponents." Ranma said. "He's stared too far into the abyss."

"That so? I can think of one other guy who has." Hope said.

"I've got data on the fighter in question. His name is Murobuchi Gozo. Thankfully, all he got was a coma, but…" Fulgore started.

"Yeah...the guy is a maniac. No doubt he's gonna try and kill Cheetah during this fight." Ranma said.

"Maniac being the operative word here." UlforceVeedramon said. "But I wouldn't count her out just yet."

As Akoya prepared another strike, Cheetah went and grabbed onto his arm.

"Now...it's my turn." Cheetah growled. Cheetah then started going on the offensive and striking back at the officer in sheer ferocity and anger before managing to take down the man.

"Oh...guess...we didn't have much to worry over." Theo said.

"Yep. Although she doesn't really have anything flashy at her disposal, it turns out, as long as she has claws that can slice through anything...she doesn't really need anything else." Zamazenta said.

Cheetah stood over the defeated Akoya.

"Justice like yours…. Should not be delivered as periodically as you believe." Cheetah said.

"And the winner...Barbara Minerva!" Chi Ta called out as the next door appeared.

"Nice going, Minerva." Hope said. "Just watching that guy fight you reminded me too much of Akainu."

"Trust me, Hope. I know what you're talking about." David said.

"I guess I don't need to talk about it any more than I should then." Hope said. "But next up, it's your turn, David."

"Yep. I don't know how I'm going to stack up, but…" David said.

"Oh...if you wanna go next, we can just use this arena." Chi Ta said.

"That's...awfully convenient." David said.

"Wait, so David can just fight right now?" Glimmer asked.

"All she said was that all fights are 1-on-1. There were no designated arenas for each one." Fulgore said.

"Born and raised on the streets of Tokyo, this sports-loving half-breed has prided himself on what he believes is his biggest weapon: his brain. But will that be enough to overcome his lack of physical prowess and take the crown? Making his first appearance, the Ice Devil, David Ishihara!" Chi Ta introduced as everyone stepped back to allow David to take the spotlight.

"Whoa...now that is nice." Hope said.

"And his opponent! From the far reaches of France, this man has slain numerous people as a special forces op. With a match record of 4 wins, 9 losses. We welcome the Grim Reaper of Paris! From Purgatory, Nicolas Le Banner!" Chi Ta called out as in walked a blond haired man in sunglasses as he waved to the audience.

"Not exactly the most impressive record…." Mermista said.

"Don't be rude, Mermista. Not counting his record, this guy was ex-special forces. And all the fighters from Purgatory have been just as formidable as the ones from Kengan." Hope said. "I'd hate to underestimate this guy."

Nicolas lowered his shades as he looked at David.

"A devil vs a reaper, huh? Who do you think is stronger?" Nicolas asked.

"You may...begin!" Chi Ta said.

"Oh well...guess we'll find out." he said, extending his arm as if he were about to fence.

David remained silent as he simply raised a leg up.

Nicolas made the first move as he was making swift motions at David, only getting the leg that David had raised.

"Gotcha." David said as he performed a spin kick right at Nicholas. "Now...wha…." David said as he felt that the leg he was using had just disappeared.

"The weapon of the reaper is not a scythe...but a needle." Nicholas smiled as he recovered.

"Damn… So that's this guy's game, huh?" David asked.

"What's happening?" Adora asked.

"He attacked the nerves instead of the actual body." Ranma said.

"Attacking the nerves so precisely like that takes skill." Catra said.

"No kidding." Scarlet agreed. "There's very few people out there with that level of precision. This guy's advanced."

"This is a style of my own. Combining fencing, savate and karate. Sahate. Or as I call it...Nicholas Style French Karate!" Nicholas said, making multiple advances at David.

"Oh goodness, this guy is going to be a pain to get a hit on." David said to himself. "Just calm down, Dave… Calm down… Just watch his movements, and wait for any kind of opening…"

"This is no time to be thinking to yourself!" Nicolas smiled as he kept pressing his attack. "Let your guard down even for a second and you'll lose all feeling in your body."

"Are you done with your taunts?" David asked. "You don't seem to realize how important it is to keep a cool head in the heat of battle."

"I do. But when you have the upper hand, you have to take the initiative." Nicolas said.

"In that case…" David said as he went for a swift punch to his chest.

The punch connected, Nicolas taking some damage. He attempted to strike back using his long reach to go for David's nerves again. David only smirked and made a quick sidestep before dealing a flurry of kicks.

"Okay, I take back what I said before. I think I'll manage after all." David said.

"You're pretty good…. But I don't give up that easy." Nicolas said. He went in for one last ditch attack, hoping to hit David at a crucial spot to stop all movement.

"Are you ready for this?" David asked as he performed several rising kicks, sending him to the air, before performing a backflip right on his head. "These legs of mine aren't just for show!"

"Not bad. Not bad at all. Guess you really are strong." Nicolas said before he passed out as he hit the ground.

"Knockout! David Ishihara is the Winner!" Chi Ta announced.

"Guess you were right there, Cheetah. There wasn't much to worry about from him after all." Rayleigh said.

"Indeed. Be it weapons or not, Ishihara knows his way around a fight." Cheetah said.

"That's more than a given by this point." Mark agreed. "So, shall we continue on? We still have more fights to get to."

"Yup. and those could be the toughest ones." Hope said. "Lets get prepared to face some tough ones."
