Sometimes the world is really scary...

Currently I, Hikigaya Hachiman, was in the elevator of the "Royal Hotel Okura'' on the way to the top floor where the "Angel's Staircase `` was located. The last shop in the Chiba business district that had the word angel on it and was open until morning.

The reason? Apparently, Kawasomething was skipping classes and coming home late due to her "part-time job", which obviously a high school student couldn't attend. Not that I minded that. Seriously. I was only here due to a request made to the Service Club. Which I was forced to participate in.

Anyway, considering the dress code of the place, today I found myself looking uncharacteristic. A white jacket, black collared shirt, jeans, and flat shoes that Komachi had taken from my dad's closet. She even gelled my hair, brushed it back, which made me look like a corny mobster.

Helpful little sisters aside, I was seriously uncomfortable in this outfit and the feeling only got worse as the elevator went up. Inside this huge transparent box, I could see Tokyo Bay and the cityscape at night in all their glory. The expected total of a hotel with red carpet, foreigners and snobbish-looking staff you might find in the movies.

To be honest, this whole cheesy thing was freaking me out. Sweat filled my back and I couldn't help but stiffen a little at the situation. I could almost die right there if I could.

Fortunately, humans are beings who feel a little relief in realizing that they are not the only ones being subjected to the hostile environment. I say this because Yuigahama Yui next to me was visibly upset. The girl with pink hair tied in a bun wore a low-cut crimson dress. The strong contrast that the composed and elegant Yukinoshita Yukino uses.

Her ponytail was falling over her smooth chest, which along with her black dress highlighted her snow-pale skin. Honestly, seeing her dressed and acting this way just goes to show how different our worlds are.

Other than that, when the elevator bell rang and the doors opened, I couldn't help but widen my eyes.

"Is this…really…really?"

The bar was dimly lit, with a foreigner in a white dress playing the piano. A view of another world. A world I didn't want to be in and I only resisted the urge to run because Yuigahama was shivering energetically beside me.

Thank you Yuigahama, your misfortune brings me happiness.

"Don't act like a fool."

With her high heels, Yukinoshita stomped on my foot, making me cry inside. She then grabbed my arm and went to my ear to whisper.

"Straight posture, chin up and chest out. Yuigahama-san, do the same as me."

Although Yuigahama and I were very shocked by his attitude, we quickly did as instructed and with that I headed for the entrance with two ladies on each arm.

On the way, some waiters approached us, but we just ignored them and headed towards the marble counter. There, polishing the cups, was a girl with blue hair who gave off a refined air that was the opposite of what I saw at school. She then placed the glasses in front of us and elegantly awaited our order.

"Kawasaki?"

"Sorry sir. Did we meet?"

"Impressive. Hikigaya-kun's own classmates don't recognize him."

At my call to Kawasaki, who looked at me confused, Yukinoshita just said in awe as he sat down on one of the benches.

"Hikki is dressed a little differently today, so that's to be expected."

In my defense, Yuigahama came seated to Yukinoshita's left side. Recognizing the two people, Kawasaki then gave them a cold look. Obviously irritated to see an enemy in his turf. Of course Yukinoshita didn't back down, giving her the same sharp look typical of her. After this little exchange, Yukinoshita ordered some drinks for us and the conversation started.

"So what are you doing here? Don't tell me you're on a date with this thing?"

"Oh please. If you're talking about this thing around me then your sense of humor is terrible."

"Don't indirectly insult me in the middle of your argument, okay?"

I gave an irritated sigh and quickly dismissed the matter as I sat on Yukinoshita's right side. I addressed Kawasaki's younger brother's concern about his work. Said girl was obviously annoyed by our intrusion and Yukinoshita snapped about the "Cinderella" schedule that was destined for a bad ending.

Obviously, it was a work schedule that was already close to eleven at night, which was forbidden for high school students. In that case, Kawasaki likely lied about his age to get the job at this hotel.

A retort here and a retort there, an insult thrown at me at random and BOOW! The tigresses argument reached a dark climax when Kawasaki involved Yukinoshita's family in the matter. Soon, a glass fell on the table and a downcast and visibly frustrated Yukinoshita was now a reality in front of me.

I just sighed at this scene. It was obvious that Kawasaki, who needed money, would not change his mind. And as much as Yukinoshita's logic was right, being the daughter of a wealthy family, she could never really have an opinion on Kawasaki's life. Both were at an impasse as to the best or worst conditions for each family.

"Come on, I'm sleepy and I'm going to finish this drink before I go."

Deciding to end this pointless fight, I gestured wearily as Yukinoshita shot me a heated look. She probably understood that I wanted to talk to Kawasaki alone because of this attitude. Fortunately, Yuigahama noticed this and pulled the ice queen with him. In that order, I indicated that I would contact Yuigahama later and turned to the delinquent dressed as a bartender.

"Then meet me at McDonald's at five-thirty. Let's talk about your brother there."

"Wait what…"

"See you tomorrow morning."

I just turned around and started to leave the bar, ignoring Kawasaki's calls. This was a strange and tiring day. Dressing in a way I don't like, staying out late and being forced to see a Yukinoshita acting strange. Considering I'm going to need to wake up about five hours after all this to end this case, it was total shit.

"Espere!"

And for some reason, Kawasaki's calls only increased as I walked away. With a stoic face I turned around as i asked me what the hell she didn't understand about my request. And then...

"There's not enough money here!"

… Shit Yukinoshita! Didn't you pay my share?

The dark streets of Chiba's shopping district were quite busy as usual. Night was young, so you could tell the adult world was in full swing near the early hours of the day.

Regardless, after the previous fiasco, I now found myself in front of the hotel on a cold night. If you consider that Yukinoshita and Yuigahama weren't present, that means I was alone. The two have probably gone to their homes, or maybe Yuigahama is going to Yukinoshita's apartment right now.

As it was almost midnight, I sent a short message to Yuigahama. Indicating about our meeting with Kawasomething at five-thirty at McDonalds. After receiving a positive message, I put my cell phone in my pocket and headed towards my parked bike.

I could have come by train, but nothing beats a good ride in Chiba's dark nights. Fifteen minutes later, I was cycling through Parque Central.

The place was empty, with only street lights illuminating the way. Hearing only the sounds of my currents, I wandered around relaxedly feeling the small breeze coming off the sea.

Despite being a lonely walk and somewhat dangerous for a person to take at night, I don't believe anything bad will happen. Not that crime in Chiba was low, but when you have eyes like mine, it's easier to be mistaken for the criminal. Life is unfair shit like that.

Anyway, I applied force to the pedal and started to drive home faster in an attempt to enjoy the rest of the night with a nap. This action of mine was constant and efficient. Or so it would have been if I hadn't seen an unusual scene with my peripheral vision.

"..."

A girl was strangely crouched with her back to me near a bush. A somewhat sinister and strange sight, particularly speaking.

Normally I would ignore this, because at night in this park it is quite common to find strange people or couples doing adult acts. However, there was something about her that made me stop my bike and watch.

I couldn't see its shape clearly. The place was dimly lit and her dark hair covered her waist. I couldn't see her face, but from her stature I'd say she's an elementary school girl. And she was wearing… pajamas?

Okay, what the hell was a high school girl in her pajamas doing alone on the streets of Chiba at night?

Looking around to see if anyone was around, finding nothing, I propped my bike on one of the posts and walked slowly towards the girl.

I was about ten meters away. Hesitant to approach a girl in a place like this. One of my 108 skills, Hachiman's sense of danger was beeping like an alarm. What are the chances of me being seen as a lolicon under these circumstances? Couldn't tell, but they sure were tall.

"!"

That hesitant line ceased the moment I noticed the thick crimson running down where she was crouching. At that same moment another one of my skills, the onii-chan instinct, alarmed like a bomb and soon I ran towards the girl.

As I approached, I felt a bit of relief, as I realized that the blood was not flowing from the girl, but from the body lying in front of her. Of course, that didn't stop me from trying to help, so don't slow down my fast pace.

"Hey are you-!"

The moment I closed my eyes enough, a horrible shiver ran down my spine. Something was wrong. Absolutely wrong!

Chewing sounds could be heard and the moment the girl turned to me, shock hit the strength of my legs, making me fall on my ass.

The girl was…

"..."

With a lot of blood coming out of his mouth. She was looking at me blearily as something that looked like a piece of human liver was chewed like it was the tastiest thing in the world. Looking at the body falling beside her, I realized it was a relatively old man. Her belly was open and I could see her intestines lying on the floor. The sight made me freeze completely.

This is not a joke! This is not a joke!

On that note, the girl who was now looking at me made a small gesture with the tip of her nose. Like she was smelling something.

"Finally found..."

I could hear her whisper. And the moment she threw the piece of liver on the floor and started walking towards me, something snapped inside me. One of the basic human instincts is survival. Adrenaline pumping through my body that quickly snapped me out of paralysis and I ran out of there.

Leaving the cannibal girl, the dead body, and my bike behind, I just ran with everything I had out of the park. At that moment my mind prioritized survival and I wouldn't stop until that instinct ceased.

It was at this point that I noticed something sneaking up behind me with great agility. Looking back, I see how the girl was moving like the devil himself while chasing me. The way she moved was reminiscent of a monkey or other wild animal. I could even hear her roar eerily.

What the fuck! If this was one of those TV show pranks, I didn't care! I'm absolutely shitting myself here!

I ran! I just ran wherever my feet took me!

Crossing the street I didn't even bother to look at the traffic lights. Not that any cars were passing by at the moment, I just wanted to run as fast as I could. It was at this point that I ended up walking down the stairs of one of the city's subway stations.

My goal with this was to find some local authority. A cop, a security guard or... Hell! Even an employee who works in the cleaning area was a good fit for my immediate dismay.

Reaching the bottom step, I quickly looked around. There was nobody. Shit! I moved some more, past the turnstiles and looking for some other human figure than Satan himself.

It was at this time that tiredness and pain in my legs hit me. The adrenaline was running low, and when I realized I wasn't being followed, I leaned desperately against one of the concrete columns.

"Aff... Aff..."

In that empty station, the lights flickered darkly and nothing but my heavy breathing could be heard. I clutched my chest, my heart racing like a machine gun as sweat broke out on my forehead.

What the hell was that?

I looked around in fear. No sign of that scary girl. I took a deep breath and breathed a big sigh of relief.

I was safe! Or at least I could assume so...

Serious! I'm for the first time in my life happy to go to school by bike every day! I did a frantic run of nearly four minutes here. My lungs might be about to burst, but at least I managed to lose my stalker.

And now what do I do?

Going back and getting my bike was impossible and waiting for the next train to leave was frighteningly too much for my fragile mind.

I could only grunt inwardly as I sat on my back against the concrete column. My hands and legs were shaking and I could tell I was in a sudden state of shock. It was then that an idea came to me.

I took my cell phone out of my pocket. Opening the small contact list I had. My fingers were shaking badly, but I managed to slide in my parents' number. Although I knew they were asleep after a grueling day as corporate slaves, I wasn't willing to think about the consequences after going through such an experience.

I would certainly scream like a little girl if I had to. And if no one from home answered, I would still try to call Yuigahama or Hiratsuka Sensei with a big cry for help.

That way my finger was right over the green button and before I could start the call the lights in the room went out for a second.

Oh God!

In the blink of an eye, the girl from before suddenly appeared in front of me. Looking at me with a dead look. I was paralyzed again.

Looking closer, she reminded me of a small version of Yukinoshita, except for the part where her light blue pajamas were dyed red, giving her a completely scary look.

"..."

Slowly she approached me. Unconsciously, I tried to back away from her, but I was stopped by the concrete column I tried so hard to support myself.

I looked around, not one person in sight. Being alone and practically cornered, I got up still leaning against the wall without taking my eyes off.

"To stay away…"

I said frankly as I prepared to run again. Even if I was tired, I wouldn't give up without a fight. I would absolutely use everything on me if it meant escaping this living hell. Taking advantage of the fact that she was no longer frantic as before, I once again ran with my tail between my legs away from that little girl. One more second and she's sure to get me.

"Ah!"

However, to my dismay, I felt a strong grip on my right leg. For a moment I thought she had grabbed me, but the moment I was suspended upside down in the air I realized she hadn't even moved.

But how-!

Grabbing my right leg was what appeared to be a gelatinous black tentacle. This strange substance originated somewhere on that girl's back, responding to its owner's will. Is she a book-reading ghoul?[1]

"Come…"

The girl once again whispered, reaching for me as if she wanted to grab me. I absolutely froze as tears threatened to fall from me. My heart stopped for a second as a dry, watery growl formed in my throat.

I'm scared! Very scared!

I screamed internally as I felt the girl's soft and delicate hands on my face. She then threw me to the ground, sitting on top of me and trapping all my limbs with her dark tentacles. I could only close my eyes and grit my teeth as tears streamed down my face.

Will I die like this? Oh really? Being devoured by a little girl who exuded anything but cuteness? How much does the world hate me?

Gathering what little courage I had left, I forced myself as hard as I could to look the girl in the eye. The final, desperate method to prepare me for what was to come.

She looked at me emotionlessly and I could have sworn that for a second her eyeballs went completely black. Opening her mouth, I could see her pink tongue exhaling hot breath, and at the back of her throat was a churning black goo that sure made me horrified with disgust.

"Mmpf!"

It was at that exact second that something wet and warm touched my lips. I widened my eyes in fear. The girl wasn't just kissing me! She was violently violating my mouth with her tongue. Rummaging inside, changing and sucking saliva.

I didn't have time to think that I'd had my first adult kiss with a miniature version of Yukinoshita, because in the next moment the girl's saliva turned into something more grotesque, more raw. Something passed from his mouth to mine, violating my throat, forcing me to swallow a thick liquid that churned noisily from my esophagus to my stomach.

"!"

I started to fight frantically. Frothing at the mouth as the girl grabbed me for a deeper kiss. In the final moments, her tentacles unfurled as she forced her tongue to nibble, slide, taste, and thrust deeper and deeper.

In the next moment, the kiss stopped altogether. The girl fell on me unconsciously, going limp. Taking the opportunity, I quickly pulled her aside roughly and started to run away.

I didn't mind leaving her alone in that place. He was very scared and he just wanted to run away.

Clutching my aching stomach, I once again climbed up the turnstile, dragging myself toward the stairs. As I climbed the steps, a sudden nausea hit my head.

Something stirred inside me. Soon I began to vomit all the mixture of drink that I had before along with gastric juice. It was bad, very bad! My head was spinning and cold sweat dampened all over my body.

With some strength left, I made it to the top of the stairs as the liquid dripped from my mouth. In a last act of desperation, I once again ran down the middle of the street, not caring about the traffic lights.

HORN!

Unfortunately, this time I was not so lucky. And now I was in front of a huge truck that barely had time to stop. The last thing I saw were the blinding headlights beside my face before I lost consciousness completely.

"Onii-Chan, acorde!"

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

I woke up with a sudden jerk of my own body and screamed. At the same time, a slender, small figure jumped back. falling on the ass on the floor.

"But what…"

I looked around duly startled. I didn't bother to pay attention to the frightened figure beside me because I realized that somehow i was in my house, lying on the couch in the living room. So clutched my throat frantically, as if I was being suffocated. I stared into space for a few seconds before taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm myself down.

"Was it all a dream?"

I whispered lightly, I could feel my heart beating frantically.

"What the hell Onii-chan! Komachi worries about waking you up and suddenly you scream scaring everyone awake."

"Komachi?"

"And who else would it be?"

Rubbing my head, I saw my imouto visibly annoyed by my brusque scream. Apparently it was loud enough to echo throughout the house. Shit! I hope I haven't taken the old people out of their well-deserved sleep...

After a few seconds, Komachi stood up and looked at me.

"Do you know what time it is? It's 30 minutes until the agreed time with Yui-San, Yukino-San and Taishi's sister. You're still late to change, onii-chan."

As my imouto pointed out, I vaguely remembered. The problem with Kawasaki, the embarrassment with Yukinoshita, and the meeting at McDonalds at five-thirty in the morning. All of this came back to me with a slight headache.

And then... came that strange event. The moment I was raped by a little girl.

Was it... real? Or was it just a dream?

I held my head, groaning in pain. If this really was a nightmare, then how the hell did it feel so real? The sensation, the fear and everything else was there. I clearly remember being hit by a truck too.

"Komachi, what time did I arrive?"

"Hun? Komachi doesn't know why he was sleeping. I woke up to your cell phone ringing and found you sprawled out on the couch."

Komachi's expression took over my entire body. Following his gaze, I noticed that my clothes were a little faded. Almost as if he had taken a beating from Hiratsuka Sensei. However, despite looking a little worn out, he wasn't feeling any kind of pain, let alone any visible wounds.

With the exception of my clothes, I was in pretty good shape, I'd even say a little refreshed.

"So... How did you find out about meeting Kawasaki?"

Deciding to change the subject, I asked my imouto not to worry her.

"Well, Taishi-kun told me via text. I also looked at your phone and saw a notification from Yui-San, and here I am to wake you up."

"I see... Wait! Don't tell me you exchanged numbers with that worm?"

"Oh my... Go and hurry, Onii-Chan! Or we'll be late. You smell like vomit and sweat too, so go shower now!"

Komachi yelled, throwing a towel over my face. And then he was off, huffing and puffing, up the stairs.

I watched her disappear from sight as I took one last weary breath. In fact, today was one of those days. With insults, problems that have nothing to do with me and nightmares that made me sweat like a certain Chunnin. I was worn out by it all. To make matters worse, my day was just getting started...

Throwing the towel over my shoulder, I walked towards the bathroom, not realizing that my eyeballs went completely black for a second.

Looks like it really was a nightmare.

After getting ready to leave, I noticed that my bike was perfectly parked in the garage. Which made no sense, considering that in my dream I had left her behind. Of course, I don't remember bringing it either. Which makes me wonder if I didn't hallucinate or ingest something illicit.

I need to have a talk with Kawa something later about putting drugs in my drink.

Other than that, I pedaled smoothly with my imouto in tow to the meeting place as planned. As soon as the automatic door opened at my pace, recognizable faces, angry and despising my existence as usual, awaited me.

"You took your time, Hiki late-kun. As expected of a dead-eyed bum."

"Good morning to you too, Yukinoshita."

So I said to the ice queen as waved to the others. It was after five-thirty and the day already clearly indicated that I was late. That said, members like Yukinoshita, Yuigahama, Kawa-something and that cockroach next to her were already sitting down and finishing up some snacks.

"Sorry, Onii-Chan here barely wakes up from his eternal sleep."

"Don't be sorry, Imouto-san. It would be great if Hikigaya-Kun never woke up."

"Could you please not wish my death indirectly?"

I just sighed in annoyance when Komachi smiled as he sat down next to Kawasomething.

The table they were all at consisted of six seats. Two on the sides and one on each end. Yuigahama and Yukinoshita were side by side facing my sister and Kawasaki. As for me, I took care of sitting right in front of that damn cockroach called Taishi.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

Looking at me in annoyance, was Kawasaki exhaling a voice full of cold and needle-like. Looks like she didn't sleep very well. The same applied to Yuigahama, who had been scowling at me ever since I got here.

Noticing my confusion, Yukinoshita offered to explain.

"Yuigahama-san was happy when she came to my house. Everything changed when you texted her. What did you write?"

"What did I write? I just gave some simple instructions about our date. I don't see where I could have written anything offensive."

"Onii-Chan, when you send a message that sounds like instructions from a boss, it's common for people to get annoyed by your lack of tact."

"Can you guys get back to it? I really need to rest and get ready for school."

In the sequence between Yukinoshita, me and Komachi, Kawasaki visibly showed impatience as if he was going to leave at any moment. I quickly extended my hand to her. Couldn't waste all the work I've done so far.

"Calm down, I'll explain why you're here. I just need FOOD!"

BANG!

"!"

I suddenly got up from my chair with such conviction that everyone recoiled a little in shock. Even the few staff members raised their eyebrows at my sudden overreaction.

But what the hell did I just do?

Even I couldn't help but be startled by this sudden behavior. All I know is that in the next moment a burning sensation gnawed at my stomach. A kind of animalistic hunger I've never felt before. Not another second passed and I quickly walked over to the ordering area and ordered five hamburgers from the big one.

Wait! Five at once?

In less than 3 minutes they handed me a huge tray containing the hamburgers, exaggerated portions of potatoes and a large glass of soda. Then I went back to my seat, ignoring the shocked looks as I started to stuff the food into my mouth.

"Onii-chan, what are you-"

"Kawasaki, allow me to explain why you are so desperate for money."

Taking a long swig of my unused soda through a straw, I looked at the delinquent girl who gave me a startled look. Naturally the rest of the members leaned towards me with interest.

"Taishi, has anything changed in your third year?"

"Eh?! No big deal, I just started attending a prep course to help with my studies."

The boy replied a little surprised. I chewed a big chunk of my burger while singing along to a Kawasaki biting her lip in frustration. She understood what he was trying to imply, and not just her. Yuigahama had also reached the conclusion.

"I see. So it was to help the brother-"

"Wrong."

Or almost… Sorry Yuigahama, you still have a long way to go. Eating a few more potatoes (which were already running out) I prepared to continue.

"The monthly fees had been paid for a long time. The Kawasaki family had already planned in advance. Taishi's problem had been resolved since April, so in that case..."

"In that case, Kawasaki-san's brother isn't the only one who needs money for his studies."

Yukinoshita continued what she had tried to finish. Which was good, it allowed me to finish the two beef burgers. That was really good! Ignoring my incessant growing hunger, the genuinely surprised cockroach cast a strained look at its sister Kawasaki.

"Nee-san, you…"

"That's why I didn't want you to get involved. I want to go to a good college, but I don't want to spend our parents' money on me. That's why I took this job."

By nature, Sobu High is a school that prepared students for university. It is around the second year that many of these students are already looking to improve their academic skills. In the case of Kawasaki, who wanted to do everything for herself, all that remained was to get as much money as she could to get a chance to go to a nearby college. Heart touching? Quite. Efficient? Extremely wrong!

"Eh… Can I say something?"

As I was on my penultimate burger, a hand went up. It was my sister Komachi.

"You know, back home our parents had been working a lot since forever. There was never anyone home when I said "tadaima". . One day I got tired of always being silenced. So Komachi ran away from home. "

Hm… I'd like to point out to my imouto that it would be quite scary if someone answered her in a totally empty house. Fortunately, I was too busy devouring the last of the fries and getting ready for the last burger that was clamoring to sink into my stomach.

"Hours later, onii-chan came to pick me up. He always replaced what my parents couldn't do most of the time. So since that day, he always came back early to say hello. I'm so grateful to him. that's why."

Oh, that's a touching story Komachi! Lots of Onii-chan points for you!

"Hikigaya-kun only did that because he didn't have any friends back then, right?"

What are you Yukinoshita? A Yukipedia?

"True hehe… But I said it like that to make it sound nicer."

"As expected of Hikki's sister."

What does that mean Yuigahama? That my sister is cute? If so, I agree with you.

"So… what do you mean by that?"

Kawasaki asked a little annoyed, causing my imouto to cringe a little and send a small look of help. Don't worry Komachi, I'll help you when possible! Let me just order a second batch of hamburgers, because my stomach feels like it's going to devour itself if I don't feed it properly.

"Well… Just as my useless brother does these things so I don't worry, your brother does the same for you. That's what a little sister needs you to understand."

"..."

On that note from Komachi a small, understanding silence came through everyone's minds. And it would have been a moment of deep reflection if it hadn't been for the second shipment of hamburgers that came to my table. Thank you Miss Attendant, you prevented my death from lack of food.

"I think that too…"

Cutting through the silence, the cockroach named Taishi spoke with a slightly red face. In that order, Kawasaki stood up and stroked her head. It seems that understanding about her younger brother's feelings has finally reached an emotional point in her.

This only became true when you could watch the eyes of everyone looking at the two Kawasaki. All except myself, who watched indifferently with my fish eyes as I gobbled down more and more potatoes.

Exaggerated tastings aside, despite the fact that we managed to reconcile this sibling duo. The solution to Kawasaki's problems still remains unsolved. In this case, it was necessary to deliver one of my strategies to make money.

"Kawasaki…"

I called out to the delinquent casually, taking a last sip of my soda.

"Do you know what a scholarship is?"

"I-that's… Wait!"

At that moment Kawasaki's eyes widened. Not out of anger, but simply because she realized the obvious in her situation.

"With a scholarship you can get into college for free. With that you don't have to kill yourself working and you can still improve your curricular performance just by studying. Two birds with one stone."

I pointed with a snap of my fingers. Taking a big bite of my tuna sandwich in a row. It was very good. At the same time, a wave of collective gasps circulated around the table. Kawasaki in particular, mine gave a dead look.

"You're saying I threw a tantrum this whole time over something that would only hurt me in the long run."

"I'm glad you understood quickly, Kawasaki."

I gave a sarcastic smile at which the delinquent snorted. Even Yuigahama and Komachi laughed ironically at my solution.

It was a given that if you worked to the point of harming your curricular performance. Not only were you doomed to fail your subjects, you would also be throwing your money away. What's the point of paying for something you can't do right? It's just stupidity! That's why scholarships exist. It is a way of helping capable students who did not have many conditions to obtain a good education when entering society.

It would be a loss for Japan's economy if it did not pay due attention to these future workers.

So the solution for Kawasaki was so simple and obvious that I could see in Yukinoshita's eyes the certainty that I would get a point on this request. Haha! French fries never tasted so triumphant of victory.

"If Hikigaya-Kun hadn't been eating like a hungry pig, I would have given him a compliment for his performance. Too bad…"

Screw it! I did my part, didn't I? Leave my food alone!

"Onii-chan is always so useful and useless at the same time… Anyway, you're really hungry! What made you eat seven sandwiches in about 30 minutes?"

"Growth spurt maybe? I really don't know, I just want to eat."

I shrugged my shoulders at Komachi's questions. It's not like I'm a nutritionist or anything, I'm just really hungry and I need to eat a lot. But I am obliged to agree that this amount was somewhat abnormal. What the hell was going on with my body?

"It's good to know that Hikigaya can still grow a few inches. Just be careful. I've heard that hunger spurts like this tend to end up with the individual vomiting after putting too much strain on the stomach."

"Bullshit. I'm perfectly fine. I can even go for another round in peace."

Though I'm flattered by Kawasaki's concern. I don't really feel any discomfort in my belly. On the contrary, something inside me was visibly happy and was just asking me to satisfy him more.

Well, that was until I took a generous bite of the eighth sandwich. It was a new flavor here at McDonalds and I wanted to try it so I could change it up a bit. The moment I swallowed most of it I felt something in my stomach turn.

"Onii-Chan?"

Seeing that I suddenly froze, Komachi shot me a worried look.

"That hamburger… It has tomatoes, right?"

So I said, looking toward the huge poster of flavors inside the store. There, I spotted the ingredients for my snack and practically widened my eyes when I learned that there were four types of tomatoes embedded in this piece of bread.

Shit! How in the hell are there four types of tomatoes in the world? Hasn't one just traumatized me enough?

"What's wrong with the tomatoes, Hikki?"

"Basically, Onii-chan hates them. Komachi forces him to eat all the time. It's quite fun watching their reactions."

Komachi replied with a mischievous smile to the confused Yuigahama. My imouto then sent a puzzled look my way.

"Although, it's the first time I've seen onii-chan go so pale after trying what he hates the most. Are you okay?"

So his playful face turned into one of concern. Soon, everyone gave me looks that basically questioned my current state.

No wonder, I think I got stuck in time. My cat's tongue has never liked the sour, half-sweet taste of tomato, but my stomach seems to hate it more than anything. So when I felt something rise in my throat, there was only one answer I could give to this audience.

"I think I'm going to throw up…"

And with that an uproar erupted around the table. One boy put his hand over his mouth while the rest begged for a bucket before inevitable doom struck.

And fly there! I finally wrote this!

I think everyone understood that this is a fic with our favorite symbiote, right? Now that spider-man is on the rise as are many fics where they put the protagonist as a hero, I decided to make one putting one of the coolest villains in the web head.

In short, this story will have the usual oregairu vibe, in contrast to Hachiman's interaction with Venom. It is worth mentioning that I intend to mix some ideas from other works, such as the one with the parasitic hands. I want to create a very unique symbiotic universe in Oregairu.

A small spoiler… I think it was obvious that it was Tsurumi Rumi who had the symbiote inside her. And I also believe that despite the typical comedic moments, this story here is destined to be quite bloody.

Being Venom is no joke!

Anyway, until next time with this series that I hope will make your minds roll like shit in the sewer!
