Little New Tokyo, a small community in the Adventure Universe where those who had been taken in, or Isekai'd as some people tend to call it, blend their culture with those of the Adventure Universe, creating a mixed culture town.

"Ah...simply...perfection." Canaan said as she sipped a small drink while sitting outside of a cafe space. "Hard to believe this is the last one. The time just seemed to fly by. Least after this, we'll have something really interesting. Now where is that guy? He was supposed to show up 15 minutes ago."

"Canaan…" a voice said.

"Ah...it's about time you…" Canaan said before seeing the group there. "Seriously? You prioritized me over the last dungeon?"

"Look...we don't want to do this...but we have questions...you have answers." Hope said.

"Seriously...ugh...such a pain. Fine. Can I offer any of you a drink?" Canaan asked.

"I think we'll pass. Now, could you tell us who your business partner is?" Ace asked.

"My business partner? What...what are you talking about?" Canaan asked before realizing. "Oh right. That call. Look...this really isn't what you think it is."

"Oh yeah...and where is it? The spellbook you used in the Psychic Universe Dungeon." Emo said.

"Spellbook? You mean this?" Canaan asked, taking out a thin but large book from her bag.

"Yeah...what spells have you...been…" Emo started to ask. "Uh…" he said, seeing it was filled with nothing but drawings.

"Yeah...it's a sketchbook...not a spellbook." Canaan said.

"These are interesting drawings." Shanoa said.

"They should be. They're all sketches from this entire Dungeon Odyssey adventure." Canaan said.

"You've been following us up from the start?!" Theo said.

"Yep. All for my work." Canaan said.

"Uh huh...and what work would that be?" Jexi asked.

"I'm a Light Novel Author." Canaan said.

"...Say what?" most of the group said with squiggly eyes in unison.

"Light Novels… Ah, yes. Another hallmark in Japanese culture. They're more like books that are illustrations of events than actual novels." David said.

"See? He gets it." Canaan said.

"So...this whole thing was…" Riolu said.

"Yeah...it was all material for my next work...Dungeon Odyssey." Canaan said, taking out a manuscript.

"So that's why you created the dungeons?" Emil asked.

"Well I didn't create all of them. A majority of them already existed before I even got involved. I just drummed up some attention towards them." Canaan said.

"She's right about that. After all, the Gateway of the Elements centered on the Elemental Knights, whose legend supposedly went on for 1000 years." Cheetah said.

"Yes, there were examples of that in some others too, I've noticed." Leopardmon said.

"Yeah. All I did was make them known and created a few challenges along the way." Canaan said.

"Like the bard?" Matthew asked.

"Yeah. For him I promised power in exchange for finding his friend. I did that cause my editor said there needed more drama to the story when I showed him my manuscript." Canaan said.

"So, that's what the whole editor business was about before." Sachiko said.

"Yeah. That was him who called. He wanted to meet to talk about my manuscript." Canaan said. "And now I'm waiting for him again to show him my almost finished work before I get it published."

"Oh...so...you aren't trying to cause chaos." Ethox said.

"Of course not. Why would I do that?" Canaan asked.

"Force of habit, I guess. We were just used to dealing with one Multiverse-terrorizing maniac after another." UlforceVeedramon said.

"But...you did so many amazing and impossible things. How…" Theo said.

"Well...that's easy...I'm a Paradise." Canaan said.

"A… A living Paradise?" David asked.

"Like...Eden and Mag Mell?" Shanoa asked.

"Eh...more like Mag and Mell. We're actually from the same generation." Canaan said. "I even convinced them to make the Arcane Library known so you guys could find it."

"So you're named after the Semistic-speaking civilization and region in the Ancient Near East." Spade said.

"Named after? I AM that Canaan. A paradise given life. Just like Eden and Mag Mell." Canaan said. "But those in the second generation appear more...humanoid than some of the first."

"Right, when we met Eden, he was an eye." Simon said.

"More than an eye but...basically yeah." Naofumi said.

"So...you all put this together...just for a Light Novel?" Ethox asked.

"Yep...and it'll reach its conclusion once you clear the final dungeon and claim the treasure: the Asterisks hoarded by the corrupt guild." Canaan said.

"Corrupt Guild?" Theo asked.

"Yeah...the Dungeon is called the Sanctuary of Quests that is rumored to hold a number of high reward quests. However…" Canaan said pointing to a couple of guys taking advantage of some people in the street. "It's run by a guild who found a stash of Asterisks and hoards all of it for themselves."

"How...despicable...that's not how a guild should be." Theo said.

"Other guilds have tried to take over but its ended with a majority of them being destroyed, disbanded and their base towns destroyed." Canaan said.

"How horrible…" David muttered under his breath.

"Yeah...it was a hassle just to steal the bard asterisk from them." Canaan said. "Actually, I think I made it worse just by taking it."

"Hey...what do you guys think you're…" one of them said before their head was sent flying.

"So...just to clarify...we clear the dungeon if we defeat the enemy guild, is that right?" Benimaru asked.

"Basically." Canaan said.

"Alright, let's go take care of it then." Lei said.

"We're taking lead on this. Objective: take down this enemy guild." Theo said.

"And don't leave a single one of them getting off scot free." Ethox said.

"Hmhmhmhm. This will be entertaining." Bloodless said, twirling her parasol.

"Entertaining and satisfying." Sir Saiyan agreed. "Come! This guild of evil shall be a memory by nightfall!"

"Yeah...let's go." Theo said as they departed.
