Friendship Day
With the dawn of a new day upon them in Harmonious Land, our heroes, or rather, our favorite group of Trolls: the Main Trolls, are waiting to see what the day will be greeting them with.
Upon their arrival and now settling into the condo abode, the Normal Trolls have started settling into Harmonious Land, and have begun to spark quite the energetic lifestyle. So far, over the past two days, they had all witnessed Aggie's incredible kindness streak and were formally invited to attend the opening of her Uncle Vic's brand new BBQ restaurant, and Aggie got to help Satin and Chenille be able to model their own fashion designs in front of Harmonious Land.
Right now, however, everyone was up and about, either eating breakfast or currently doing their own thing.
Sid was poking his head in the kitchen and approached the fridge, where he opened it, and saw there was a tasty red popsicle sitting there. He licked his lips, saying, "Ooh, yummy! May not be bugs, but it's a close second."
He picked up the popsicle and took the wrapper off, ready to eat it, when from behind him, he saw Biggie, staring at the popsicle excitedly, while saying, "Wow, I forgot we had one of those"!
Sid groaned and turned away, trying to ignore Biggie, who commented, "My tummy's rumbling like a thunderstorm cloud right now."
Suddenly, Sid got a mischievous idea, as he smiled, turned around to face Biggie, and offered the popsicle, saying, "Yeah. Want it"?
Biggie was surprised to see Sid, who he saw as aloof and kind of cold at times, offering him the sweet treat.
However, Val, watching this while leaning against the wall nearby, spoke up, saying, "I wouldn't fall for it if I were you, Biggie. You know he's not gonna give it to you; he's a selfish jerk."
Sid pretended to be taken aback, saying while faking innocence, "Hey, if I was a selfish jerk, I wouldn't be standing here, right now, offering my dear companion a bite, or lick, of this tasty, frozen, juicy, succulent popsicle."
Biggie smiled, while replying to Val, "Yes, Val, and besides, I believe that deep down, Sid is a kind and generous soul."
"Uh, why," Val asked while shrugging.
Sid held the popsicle out in front of him, saying with a fake smile, "Here, Biggie, take it."
Biggie chuckled happily, saying, "Oh, yeah! Pop me, please," and opened his mouth, waiting for Sid to place the popsicle in his mouth.
Sid smirked as he gently lowered the popsicle so it touched the tip of Biggie's tongue...before ceremoniously tossing it up into the air and into his own mouth, watching Biggie look in shock as he swallowed the popsicle.
Sid chuckled, saying, "Sucker."
Biggie gasped in shock, saying, "Oh, come on, Sid! That wasn't nice at all"!
Sid scoffed, saying, "Well, that's life for ya, bub. Sometimes, you don't get things handed to you," before he walked away to the living room, leaving Val to check on Biggie, feeling bad for him.
Suddenly, they heard Poppy calling from the living room, saying, "Trolls, come! We're on TV"!
That got Biggie and Val to join up with Poppy and the rest of their Normal Troll friends, as they all saw that on TV, there was a picture of the Normal Trolls, while in a newsroom, a female Magic Pop reporter was sitting at a table, reporting a story, saying, "And in local news, once again, we are seeing the Normal Trolls around here more often, as they seem to be settling into Harmonious Land well. Is perhaps a rebuild in friendship ties between our two tribes in the making? Only time will tell as we see what these unique Trolls do around our harmonious and magical community."
"Ooh! Unique! That's new," Cooper commented excitedly.
"You know what it sounds like? A cologne," Synth replied before saying in a fancy deep male voice, "Unique."
That caused some of the Normal Trolls to snicker in response.
Then the reporter said, "And be ready to turn onto the news tomorrow as well because, as the leaders of Harmonious Land have announced earlier today, this upcoming Thursday, we will be getting a live interview on TV Pa-Troll involving our very own Ms. Agatha Galido, who will be telling us about the place where she had stayed with her friends, the normal Trolls, where she says that all Trolls of all kind can live together in Harmony: Trollstopia."
"Hot dang, Poppy! How were y'all able ta get the leaduurss ov Harmonious Land ta get us ta do an interview," Holly asked Poppy while impressed.
Poppy answered, "Actually, they told Aggie about it when she was walking home with Satin and Chenille from the fashion show, and when the offer was brought up, she told us about it, and we all unanimously agreed to do it."
"Ay'm just prayin' the interview goes well, y'all," Delta declared while the TV news reporter kept talking.
"Well, for now, the best we can do is just be ourselves as we all talk about Trollstopia to the many viewers at home," Essence instructed.
"I just hope Aggie doesn't get too nervous about being on camera," Trollzart replied in concern.
"Well, we're gonna be right by her side, so with us together, I know Aggie's gonna do great," Trollex replied happily.
"And with you by her side, she'll be extra confident," Barb replied in a playful teasing manner, making Trollex blush heavily while gritting his teeth in front of Barb, not appreciating the playful tease.
Then, they all heard the news say something that caught their attention, with the reporter saying, "And as for today, make sure you hug your friends tight and embrace your friendship with those closest to you because today is Friendship Day"! That special holiday to honor your closest friends and the special bond you share with them."
"Friendship Day," the Trolls exclaimed excitedly.
Sid, who was watching from a distance, rolled his eyes in response, not finding the holiday amusing.
"I didn't know they celebrated Friendship Day in Harmonious Land," Dante commented in awe.
"I love Friendship Day," Smidge exclaimed.
"What's Friendship Day," Tiny asked in confusion.
"Oh, it's only the most Trolly holiday of all time, son," Guy Diamond told his son.
"Yeah, Friendship Day is the day where you get to celebrate all the awesome friendships, old and new, you make with the Trolls all around you," Melody answered happily.
"It's hands down the best Troll holiday," Rhythm stated while Blues added on, "To celebrate"!
Poppy then happily declared, "Trolls, let's make this Friendship Day here in Harmonious Land the best"!
Everyone cheered excitedly, ready to celebrate.
Melody saw that out of everyone currently in the room, there was one Troll missing at the moment: Aggie. She got up and went to the elevator to visit Aggie in her condo room.
In Trollex and Aggie's room, Aggie was placing her Friendship Day cards in a basket and was ready to head out to deliver them to her friends when she heard a knock on the door.
Aggie flew over to the door, opened it, and was greeted by Melody, who exclaimed, "Happy Friendship Day, Aggie," and gave her best friend a big hug.
Aggie happily hugged the Pop/Rock Troll back, saying, "Happy Friendship Day, Mel! Guess you guys saw the news already"?
Melody nodded, saying, "Yep! and I'm so excited to be spending Friendship Day here, especially with my best friend"!
Aggie then pulled on an envelope, saying, "Here, Mel; I made everyone Friendship Day cards, and this one's for you! Just a little something to express my gratitude for the wonderful friendships I've made with all of you"!
Melody looked at the envelope, saying, "I'm definitely sure everyone's gonna love your cards, Aggie," before she opened up the envelope and pulled out the card, with was purple with a heart design on it. Half the heart was pink, and the other half was red. When she opened the card to read it, the message said, "To the coolest, friendliest, kindest, and spunkiest Pop/Rock Troll I've ever met! You always "mix" it up, and that's a trait that I find really admirable about you! I'm so lucky to have you as my best friend, not just in Trollstopia, but here in Harmonious Land, and for life too! Let's stick together through everything that comes our way! Happy Friendship Day! Best hugs, Aggie."
Then, Melody saw a picture on the other side of the inside of the card, and it was a picture of the day Aggie and Melody first met when Trollstopia started out; the moment where Aggie was showing Melody around her pod, and the two took a little selfie to commemorate the moment.
Melody could feel happy tears forming around her eyes, saying, "It's so beautiful! I love it, Aggie, thank you"!
Aggie smiled and replied while patting her best friend on the back, "You're welcome, Melody, but in all honesty, it's you I need to thank, for being such an amazing friend."
The pair fist-bumped together as Melody then said while putting the card in her hair, "Oh yeah! I wrote something for you for Friendship Day! A special song commemorating the friendship that we created together! But, before I sing it for you, could I maybe...borrow your acoustic guitar"?
Aggie nodded, saying, "Sure thing, here," and pulled her acoustic guitar from her hair and gave it to Melody. Then, she saw the Pop/Rock Troll pull out a small xylophone set with silvery shiny keys, and that the end of her ponytail was holding two small brown mallets with tan fuzzy spheres on them. Melody tuned up the guitar and then started to strum it, playing a catchy melody, while playing the xylophone on key with the song, adding some harmonic and beautiful chime sounds to the music. With the music set, Melody then started to sing.

After Melody finished the song, Aggie happily applauded, saying, "That was brilliant, Mel"!
Melody bowed and gave Aggie back her acoustic guitar before saying, "Thanks, Aggie! Come join us, downstairs; we can't celebrate Friendship Day without our most special and magical friend"!
Aggie giggled, saying, "Fine by me," before she said with a playful smirk, "Last one to the elevator's a Bergen," before she gripped onto her basket and flew out of the room with a quick WHOOSH.
Melody chuckled as she ran after Aggie, saying, "Hey, no fair! You can fly"!
A while later, down in the lobby, Holly and Buckaroo were both in the kitchen, tying on some baking aprons over their clothes.
"Woohoo! What betturr way faw us ta celebrate Friendship Day than with our own lil' tradishun ov baking sweet Friendship Day cookies faw ever'one ov our pals," Holly commented.
"Yeah! Nawht only is it ayy sweet gesture faw 'em, but it 'llows us ta get ta spend some bestie taame togethuurr as well," Buckaroo added with a grin.
Both Country Trolls high-hoofed each other with their front hooves before beginning to get all the ingredients to make the cookie batter and frosting.
Buckaroo got the eggs, milk, and butter while saying, "Hey, Holls, remembuurr that it was bakin' where we ended up meetin' faw the first taame"?
Holly was reaching up to grab some flour as she stated, "How could ay evuurr forget? It was also where ay learned 'bout your lil' hankerin' faw frostin."
"Could y'all blame me? Ay was ayy lil bucklin' back then ayn' barely had any sugar since ay grew up eatin' mostly the vegetables that we grew on the family farm, ayn' besaades, frostin' tastes just as good by itself as it does on sweet goodies," Buckaroo playfully defended.
Holly broke into a snicker, saying, "True, ayn' laake frostin', it sticks with ya, laake how ended up stickin' by each othuurr. Ay remembuurr that there day laake it was yesterday."
Flashback to a long time ago...
A young Holly Darling, who back then, wore a plain white shirt, with a small pair of blue jeans that were shorts, and she wore a simple purple scrunchy for her much smaller ponytail, and a matching purple headband was putting on some small oven mitts as she approached the oven.
She used her hair to open it and carefully pulled out a tray full of freshly baked sugar cookies that were. right now, plain.
She placed the tray on the table, saying while fanning off the cooling off cookies, "Whel, hot dang! They came out perfectly! Now, to just whip out my frosting to frost them, ayn' they'll be ready faw my mama ayn' papa in naw taame"!
Holly reached over to grab the bowl she had that was full of frosting so she could start frosting the cookies, but when she did...she didn't feel a bowl anywhere. She looked around, trying to find where the bowl went, asking herself, "Hey, where'd my bowl go"?
Suddenly, she heard a small, high-pitched HIC, making her look at the other end of the table, where she saw someone sitting on the ground by the table, with a now empty bowl of frosting and some of the red frosting smeared over her mouth.
The little Country Trolling had dusty yellow skin, swamp green hair that was straight, with two small braids in the front, lime green eyes, a yellow nose, and a dark brown tail, who was wearing a small brown cowgirl's hat on her head, a white-and-orange plaid sleeveless shirt, a light brown vest over it, and brown pants.
The Country Trolling looked up, seeing Holly looking at her inquisitively, as she gasped, saying, "A-Ay'm sorry, ma'am! Ay didn't know this here was yours! It just looked so gosh darn good, ayn' whel...ay haven't had any sugar in a whale ayn'...ay just got caught up ayn'...ate it. Ay'm sorry."
Holly then suddenly, much to the little Country Trolling's surprise...started laughing. She laughed for a while before saying, "It's ok, y'all. Ay don't maand, though maybe ask befawe ya eat it up next taame, so ay could've given ya some aftuurr ay finished frostin' my cookies. Y'all really laake that there frostin' huh"?
The little Country Trolling nodded, saying, "It was so good! Ay nevuurr tasted anythin' that sweet befawe"!
"Really? How come," Holly asked.
"Whel, ay'm accustomed ta the diet ov vegetables that my family ayn ay grow on our lil' farm," the Country Trolling answered.
Holly then placed the pieces together, asking, "Wait, farm? As in laake that there Ringuurr (Ringer) Farm where the veggies my mama buys at the farmer's market comes from"?
The Country Trolling nodded, saying, "Yep, that there one. Ay'm Buckaroo Ringuurr (Ringer). Naace ta meet ya," while tipping her hat at Holly.
Holly giggled, saying, "Same here, Buckaroo! Ay'm holly Darlin', but y'all ken call me Holly."
Buckaroo giggled, saying, "Got it, Holls! Sorry 'gain 'bout that there frostin; ken ay make it up ta ya"?
Holly nodded, saying, "If ya want, ay could use some help makin' ayy new batch of frostin' faw my cookies."
Buckaroo grinned, saying, "Sure thing! Ay'm ayy great help in the kitchen"!
Holly then replied with a playful smirk, "Just don't go eatin' up the new batch of frostin', 'kay"?
Both girls broke into a giggle fest as Buckaroo came up to where Holly was and the two started to bake together.
End of flashback...
"Ah, memories," both Holly and Buckaroo commented in awe, looking up at the ceiling with eyes glistening.
"Uh, what are you doing," a voice asked, making both girls snap out of it to turn their heads and see Sid standing by the entranceway, looking at them in confusion.
"Oh, howdy, Sid. Holls ayn' ay were just reminiscin' 'bout the day we first became friends," Buckaroo answered, both girls, high-hoofing again.
Sid groaned, saying, "Seriously, what is it with this "friendship" thing? Is it really worth celebrating about"?
"Ov course it is, Sid! Friendships are ayy wonduurrful thing ta have! y'all get ta bond with special Trolls whom y'all ken share great memories with, have fun with, chat with, ayn' spend taame togethuurr with! Ayn' they come in all shapes ayn' sizes," Holly replied.
Sid retorted, "Well, I think it's dumb if you ask me. Why need friends when you can just rely on yourself? Do everything on your own? Sounds like having friends is just a waste of time."
"It's nawht ayy waste ov taame. Y'all would understand bettuurr how essential friendships are if y'all had ayy friend," buckaroo answered back.
Sid scoffed, answering back, "I don't need friends; not like they'd be of any use to me," before walking away.
Buckaroo sighed in annoyance, saying, "Ay swear, that there Troll's as stubborn as ayy mule, ayn' very odd considuurrin' he's a Pop Troll, ayn' they're one ov the most friendliest Troll species."
Holly added, "Ay know, raheet? Why he's so stuck up on nawht wantin' friends"?
"Too bad we ken't just try ta get him ayy friend, because maybe if he actually befriended someone, he'd see that it's actually real naace ta have 'em," Buckaroo replied.
Suddenly, Buckaroo had a crazy idea, saying, "Hey, maybe ay ken try ta befriend him."
"Are y'all sure? He's kaand ov...strange if y'all ask me. Nothin' against him aw nothin', but he's rather a bit on the "tough ayn' rumble" saade, ayn' doesn't seem laake the kaand ov Troll to just simply warm up ta othuurrs," Holly answered, feeling unsure.
Buckaroo commented, "Aw know, but if couldn't hurt ta try at least. It is Friendship Day, ayn' maybe some ov that there holiday whiz maheet give me ayy lil' luck with him. The best ay could do is give it ayy shot at least."
Holly smiled, saying, "That is true. Give it ayy go, Bucky"!
Buckaroo then said with a chuckle, "Hey, only my olduurr sistuurr's 'llowed ta call me that"!
Both Country Trolls broke into laughter as Buckaroo went to see if she could try and talk to sid while Holly went right to work on her baking.
Outside in the front of the condo, McJagger was turning the crank on a device with a huge horn-like part, as he looked up, saying, "All set! Ready, Prince D"?
Prince D, who was on his hoverboard and had his headphones on, said, "All ready up here, McJ! Fire it up"!
McJagger giggled as he pressed a button on the device that caused the device to start shaking and running before the horn-like part released a medium-sized bubble.
Prince D rode his hoverboard towards it and scratched the front record with his paw, making some vibration waves shoot out and pop the bubble, causing it to pop into a ring, consisting of many little bubbles, which he flew through, smiling.
The device began to release more bubbles, which Prince D easily popped to turn into rings, and flew right through them, laughing, as he was having fun.
Cooper was coming out of the condo when he saw his brother and McJagger playing a game, intriguing him, as he walked over, saying, "Hey, Prince D! McJagger! What are you guys up to"?
Prince D declared from above, "Hey, Cooper! We're playing Vibration Bubble Ring Race"!
"Vibration Bubble Ring Race? Sounds like fun! Can I play," asked Cooper.
"Sure, Cooper! You can have the next turn once Prince D's finished his turn," McJagger replied happily.
Prince D then explained, "The rules are simple: you ride the hoverboard, and every time you see a bubble, you scratch the records to pop it, and it becomes a ring, which you fly through. The key is to go through as many as possible before the machine stops producing bubbles," before going through three more bubble rings he made.
Soon, after it launched 10 more bubbles, the crank stopped spinning and the machine halted, turning off.
Prince D landed his hoverboard and took off his headphones, saying, "Woohoo! 25 bubbles! That's a new record"!
"Awesome job, man," McJagger said as the two playfully bumped each other while chuckling.
Cooper giggled, saying, "Me too," and he playfully bumped both his brother and McJagger, the three Funk Trolls all laughing together.
Prince D wrapped his front left leg around his brother, saying, "Okay, Cooper, you're up," and handed him his headphones.
Cooper eagerly placed them on and went up onto the hoverboard, set to ride it. While he watched McJagger crank the machine again by turning the crank, he asked, "Say, Prince D, Cooper, how did you two become best friends anyway"?
Prince D answered, "Well, it was a long time ago actually. Back then, McJagger was a huge bookworm, more than he is now," adding that last part with a playful smirk.
"Hey, you know I like to read," McJagger replied, snickering, before he answered, "But Prince D is right; I basically started out my childhood with my head in a book. It was meeting Prince D that got me to put it down and start having some fun."
Flashback to a long time ago...
A young McJagger, who didn't have his jacket or necklace back then, but did wear smaller versions of his bangles on his ankles, was sitting on a bench, reading a book about the anatomy of Funk Trolls.
"Ooh! The femurs of the legs of quadruped Funk Trolls differ in size and bone capacity of the femurs in the legs of bipedal Funk Trolls," he exclaimed giddily while reading.
Then, he heard a voice that made him look up, the voice saying, "Hey there, wanna play"?
McJagger lowered the book and saw a young Prince D, who was kicking around a purple-and-blue hackysack with his back and front feet, before catching it on the top of his head.
McJagger smiled, saying, "Thank you, but I'm in the middle of this really cool book I picked up at the library."
Prince D chuckled, saying, "Come on, dude; you know what they say: if you read for too long, a bookworm's gonna crawl into your head and live there."
McJagger snickered in reply, saying, "Bookworms can't live in your head; the environment inside our heads wouldn't be able to sustain them, and they'd pass within a day or two."
Prince D then commented, "I mean, you shouldn't spend all your time reading. There's so much to see and do outside the books you read, like playing hackysack," before he bopped the hackysack into his back right foot again, saying, "Come on, just one game. Please"?
McJagger looked at his book, before looking at Prince D, as he closed the book, saying while he got down onto the ground, "Ok. I guess one game of hackysack wouldn't hurt. I'm McJagger by the way."
"I'm Darnell, but you can call me Prince D, man. What's popping," Prince D replied.
"Right now, nothing, unless you count the popcorn that Mr. Dylan makes at the movie theater," McJagger replied, making both boys laugh, as Prince d kicked the hackysack to him, with McJagger easily catching it and kicking it around his feet with ease.
End of flashback...
"We ended up playing hackysack for the whole day, and not once during the game did I think about my book until it was time for Prince D to come home," McJagger replied, soon finishing up with cranking the machine.
"And after that, we kept hanging out every chance we saw each other, and we became best friends ever since," Prince D commented.
Cooper was shedding happy tears as he said, "Awwwww," before suddenly, he felt a question come to mind. He floated over to Prince D, asking, "Uh, Prince D, I know we're brothers and all but...are we best friends too"?
Prince D chuckled while happily answering, "Of course, Cooper. We're family, and family is the best kind of best friends you could ever have."
Cooper smiled happily, saying, "Awwww, thanks, brother"!
McJagger added, "Plus, you got another best friend too, Cooper: me, 'cause any best friend of Prince D is a best friend of mine as well."
Cooper could feel his heart fill with happiness, saying, "Awww, and you both are my best friends too"!
Then, Cooper declared, "Now, fire up that machine so I can get to popping some bubbles"!
"You got it, Cooper," McJagger answered as he turned the machine on, making it release bubbles, which Cooper happily popped into rings and flew through, while Prince D cheered for Cooper, saying, "Go, Cooper"!
Inside the condo, over in the dining room, Trollex was reading the Friendship Day card Aggie gave him, saying, "Aggie, this is so super sweet"!
Aggie blushed and answered, "Well, I spent a little extra time on it for you, since you're not just only my boyfriend, but my closest friend, and the most special Troll I could ever want in my life."
Trollex blushed happily and shared a romantic kiss with Aggie, the two locking lips happily.
Trollex, during the kiss, tuck a strand of hair behind Aggie's left ear, while Aggie wrapped her arms around Trollex's neck, pulling him close to her, with Trollex happily wrapping an arm around her waist, the two remaining close together.
After their kiss, the two separated, with Trollex asking, "So, what should we do today to celebrate Friendship Day together"?
Aggie responded dreamily, "I don't mind what we do, as long as I'm with you."
If there was a speaker right next to Trollex right now, you could hear how loud and fast his heart was beating in excitement in response to Aggie's reply.
Trollex then said, "You know, Aggie, you're definitely not only the greatest Troll I've ever met, but you're also the sweetest lover," and kissed her on the nose, making Aggie giggle, before he added, "And the coolest friend to have around."
Aggie could feel her cheeks heat up in a blush, as she giggled, saying, "Oh, stop it, Trollex; I'm blushing in embarrassment. I'm sure I'm not that great."
The Techno king chuckled, saying, "Are you kidding me? You're so talented in music, you played every genre so well, you're so kind to other Trolls around you, you're very loyal, so helpful around the Troll Kingdom, and you're really funny! You make us laugh and smile every time we see you."
Aggie replied, while scratching the back of her head "Thanks, but you're just as good as a friend for Trolls to hang out with, Trollex. You're a talented DJ, you put your heart and soul into the Techno music you play, you're brave, strong, loyal to helping those in need, and you're super kind. If anything, aside from being the best boyfriend I could ever ask for, you're also the greatest friend I could ever have."
Trollex chuckled, saying, "Aww, come on, you're the greatest friend, Aggie."
"No, you are," Aggie happily replied back.
"No, you are, you beautiful angel," Trollex answered back.
"No, you are, you handsome king," Aggie commented back.
The two continued their little playful/romantic back-and-forth banter before they both broke into a blushing giggle fest.
Then, Aggie smiled, holding both of Trollex's hands, before pulling him up from his seat, and spinning him around, using her telekinesis to bring a radio towards the table, and pressed it, turning it on, so it played some music, as she and Trollex danced together, and sang.

They ceremoniously concluded their performance with an adorable kiss again, blushing in unison, and their hearts beat rapidly in happiness together.
In Sid's room, Buckaroo was currently entering, spotting the disguised Flexi-Troll, still in his Pop Troll disguise, lying on his couch, fast asleep.
She trotted over to him quietly, leaning her head forward to see how peaceful he looked while asleep. She saw how Sid softly snored, and seemed like he was lying as if he was in bed.
Not wanting to be rude when it came to waking him up, Buckaroo gently tapped him, saying, "Hey, Sid."
Sid snorted a bit, but still seemed to remain asleep, much to Buckaroo's chagrin. The detective then noticed a nearby pot on the small kitchen stove and grinned, finding the perfect opportunity to wake him up.
She picked up the pot, and pulled out a wooden spoon from her hair, before beginning to bang it, shouting, "Wake up"!
Sid immediately sat up on the couch, shouting from being startled due to the lous noise, saying, "I'm up! I'm up"!
He peered over and saw the detective with the pot in her hand and frowned, saying in annoyance, "Oy, did you wake me up"?
Buckaroo placed the spoon away and put the pot down while she answered, "Yeah, ay did, because y'all ken't just sleep the day away."
Sid rolled his eyes and retorted, "Oh, really? Watch me, because it's not like I've got anything better to do," and proceeded to lay down. However, he felt Buckaroo lift him up, making him flail his arms quickly in shock.
Trying to duck her head so Sid didn't hit her by accident, she replied, "Yes, y'all do. Because y'all ayn' ay are gonna be spendin' the day togethuurr," before placing in him on his feet.
Sid faced her, crossing his arms, while asking, "And why would I want to spend the day with you"?
Buckaroo rolled her eyes, answering, "Because ay want ta do somethin' naace faw ya, while also showin' ya that it's real important ta have friends in your laafe. Y'all maheet think it ain't worth it, but y'all just don't know yet what it means ta really have someone y'all care about besaade ya."
Sid scoffed, answering back while walking away from her, "Ha, I already have someone like that: myself. Listen up, detective, and listen up good. Read my lips: I don't need friends! The minute you get close to even someone you consider a "friend" they'll just leave you and leave your heart broken, and your spirit torn. So, why put myself through all that needless trouble when I can just rely on the one friend who's actually always there: myself"?
Secretly, Sid looked down sadly, thinking back to how he could never really find a friend back in the Flexi-Troll kingdom. Every time he tried to find someone he'd want to hang out with, he'd get violently shoved aside, or rudely turned away at. And the one friend he thought that he found solace in, from his ex-girlfriend: Veronica, whom he was dating during the while, ended up leaving him, bad breaking his heart badly. From that point on, Sid had fallen under the crescent of simply trying to rely only on himself since no one bothered to look out for him or even care to.
Buckaroo noticed Sid's sad look and trotted to him, placing a hand on his back in comfort, saying, "Look, ay may nawht know ya too well yet, ayn' ay could tell that maybe this here befriendin' thing may seem like much, aw scary ta ya, but ay'm only suggestin' it because ay could sense y'all maheet be feelin' lonely...are ya"?
Sid sighed, replying, Maybe a little...and it sucks."
Buckaroo then said, "Whel then, let me make things nawht so lonely faw ya. If y'all don't wanna be friends yet, at least let me make things ayy lil mawe lively faw ya so y'all ain't spendin' Friendship Day alone."
Sid looked at the detective before sighing, saying, "Ok, fine. What did you want to do"?
Buckaroo smiled, saying, "There's ayy diner nawht too far from here near the exerts of Magickina City. Wanna go grab ay baate ta eat"?
Sid thought about it, saying in response, "Eh, fine, but don't expect me to pay for anything since you seem to be the one "treating" me to this."
Up in Poppy and Branch's room, Poppy, Branch, and most of the Snack Pack, except Cooper since he was outside playing with his brother and McJagger, were all watching a movie together.
During the movie, Branch popped a big bowl of popcorn, so they were all eating it together.
Smidge popped a kernel of popcorn into her mouth, saying, "Oh Troll, this part is awesome"!
Biggie was feeding Mr. Dinkles a kernel of popcorn while saying, "I know; seeing them all playing together is so sweet, isn't it Mr. Dinkles"?
The worm didn't say anything but just gave a light nod since it was chewing.
Satin commented, "Plus, they all look so fabulous in the clothes that the girl in their friend group designed"!
"Though her shoes are questionable when propped with her shirt," Chenille mentioned.
"Splendid idea for us to be spending the morning of Friendship Day watching this movie with you," Guy Diamond spoke up, saying to the Pop Queen.
Poppy smiled, saying, "Awww, well, I figured what better way to start the day than to spend it watching this film with the first friends I've ever made"?
"Awwwwwwww," everyone said together, including Branch.
Suddenly, Tiny had a question, looking between Poppy and Branch, and then speaking up, asking, "Um, Aunt Poppy, Daddy's friend's Branch, how did you two become friends"?
Poppy and Branch both looked at Tiny together, with Branch asking, "You want to know how we became friends"?
"I do too," Legsley piped in, saying, "Because I soon joined you guys a while after you guys became friends, so I never saw how it really came to be."
DJ Suki then joined in, saying, "Oh, this story goes a while back."
"Yeah, back when Branch was still a grumpypants, well...more than he usually is," smidge answered, chuckling a bit.
"I'm not that grumpy," Branch retorted, earning him some "Really" looks from the Snack Pack, and a confused look from Tiny.
Poppy then, to his luck, chimed in, saying, "Ok, well, back then, before you were born, Tiny, we had an incident where a very mean Bergen came to try and take us all so she could..well...eat us and feed us to the other Bergens, and she ended up taking all of my friends."
"That fanny pack was tight, by the way," Biggie piped in with.
Poppy continued with, "So, Branch and I, ventured out to go save them, and during the journey, when we all ended up stuck with my friends, and the rest of the Trolls got captured, Branch helped me feel better when I was at my lowest, and in that moment, he unlocked his happiness, and since then, we've been close friends ever since. And, you can tell how that close friendship turned out later on," before sharing a kiss with Branch, making the Snack Pack all squeal in awe.
Branch then said, "And I'm grateful for every minute of it, especially with getting to have grown as a Troll so I could learn and grow into being a great friend, despite hoe things started out between us."
Legsley, hearing this, asked, "Was it bad between you both at first"?
"No, no, no, it wasn't, it's just.." Branch tried to answer, unsure of how to word it.
"Branch used to be a really grumpy hermit who was solely focused on trying to prepare for a Bergens attack," Guy Diamond chimed in with, earning a small scowl from Branch.
"I was not that grumpy, and could you blame me? I just wanted to make sure we were safe," Branch replied.
"Ooh! Remember the day before we ended up throwing that big party, Poppy," Smidge asked excitedly.
Poppy answered, "Of course I do; I remember that day very well."
Flashback to a while back, long before pre World Tour...
Poppy and her friends had just finished performing their song when Poppy suddenly heard someone slow clapping in response, and turned her head, trying to see who was clapping.
It turned out to be Branch, who was grey and colorless back then, as he said, "Unbelievable, guys. Really, really great. Good job," before mentioning as he carried sticks under his arm, "I could hear you from a mile away"!
Poppy leaped back onto the ground from Cooper's head, as the Snack Pack joined up with her while she said, "Good; I was worried we weren't projecting enough."
Branch retorted, "Poppy, if I can hear you," before whispering, "So can the Bergens."
"Oh boy," Guy Diamond said, knowing where this was going.
"Here we go again," Cooper replied, almost ready to faint from knowing what was gonna happen next.
"Oh, Branch," Biggie stated in concern.
"You always ruin everything," Satin commented.
"Warning us about the Bergens," Chenille added on.
Branch looked at them nervously, saying, "No, I don't."
End of flashback...
"He kind of did, actually," DJ Suki admitted sheepishly.
"Every time there was a party or festivity he would run in panicking," Biggie commented.
"And scream "The Bergens are coming," and flip a table with a cake on it before running away," Smidge added.
Branch sheepishly blushed in embarrassment, saying, "Ok, I'll admit I was a little bit paranoid back then, and well... I wasn't a really good friend to you, guys. And...if i never said this before to any of you...I'm really sorry for how I acted in the beginning."
All the Snack Pack smiled, looking at one another before looking at Branch.
"Oh Branch, no worries; we knew that you were, uh...a little different, but we always liked you," Guy Diamond answered.
"Yeah, even when you didn't seem to care as much, we all cared about you," Biggie added.
"And just wanted to make sure you were ok, even when you were all by yourself," DJ Suki added.
Branch smiled in contentment, saying, "Thanks, guys."
On cue, all their Hug Time watches chimed, making Poppy announce, "Hug Time," and all the Pop Trolls in the room gathered together for a happy group hug.
By Trollzart's room, Trollzart and Dante were working together to set up the table for a tea party.
Dante was placing the small plates down, the tea cups beside the plates, and the small forks next to the plates before he flew over to the counter, grabbed something, and came back, placing a large tower tray filled with small cream puff pastries, jelly-filled pastries, and fancy finger sandwiches.
Trollzart was pouring some freshly-made tea into the teapot and bringing it over to the table.
Feeling like everything was successfully prepped, Dante commented, "Yes, everything's all set for our special tea party, Maestro."
Trollzart replied, "Beautiful. Now, all we need is our guests."
On cue, they both heard a knock on the door, with Trollzart flying towards the door and opening it to greet their guests, who turned out to be King Quincy, Queen Essence, Synth, Stereo, and Demo.
Dante flew forward to greet them, saying, "Ah, your Funkinesses, Demo, Synth and Stereo, a pleasure you all could make it today"!
Synth chuckled, saying, "'Course we'd come, DC! When Stereo told me all bout how you do some great tea parties, I figured it'd be fun to try, and in the Friendship Day spirit, I'm more than happy to try anything a friend of mine is doing."
Stereo replied, "You'll love it, Synth! Sitting down and enjoying a nice cup of tea with close friends is really *imitates airhorn noises*"!
Essence mentioned, "Thank you very much for inviting us, Trollzart and Dante."
Dante replied, "Tis an honor, Essence. In the spirit of Friendship Day, Trollzart and I figured what better way to show our gratitude towards our friends than with a fun little tea party"?
Trollzart soon made it to Dante's side, greeting the guests, saying, "Salutations, Trolls. Please, come in, come in."
Everyone entered the room and sat at the table, enjoying how everything was set up so nicely.
Trollzart picked up the teapot and began to serve the guests some tea, pouring it into their teacups.
Demo then said, "Shall I serenade us with some fancy Classical guitar music"?
"Oh yes, that would be a sure delight, Demo. You may proceed," Dante replied.
Demo smiled and pulled out his Classical guitar, beginning to strum a beautiful song on it.
"My, my, your skills on Classical guitar are definitely very admirable, Demo," Essence complimented.
"Yeah, yo! It sounds super dope," Synth added.
Dante offered a sandwich to Synth, saying, "Synth, would you also be interested in trying some of these finger sandwiches? This one is a simple cucumber and cilantro paste finger sandwich."
Synth nodded and accepted the sandwich offered to him, tasting it before saying, "Yummy, yo! It tastes really good; reminds me of the seaweed wraps we have back home"!
"Seaweed wraps," Quincy asked curiously.
"Oh yeah, yo! They're the best! WE fill the seaweed up with all kinds of good eating that makes it taste so good! Plus, we can fill it with pretty much anything like quinoa, fish, plankton patties, you name it, if it fits, you can eat it," Stereo replied happily while trying a pepper finger sandwich.
"That sounds wondrous. We must try that soon," Trollzart commented in awe, sipping on his cup of tea.
"You know what else is wondrous? this tea; it's really delightful," Stereo commented to Trollzart and Dante.
"Why, thank you, Stereo. We are happy you are enjoying it," Dante replied.
Demo then paused his Classical guitar playing, commenting, "Yeah. I mean, normally, I'm all for rocking out and being reckless, but it's nice to have some quiet time to enjoy with my friends, and serenade with some beautiful music."
Speaking of beautiful music, Minuet was currently taking a break from her usual dual violin/cello practice and was currently playing a beautiful song on the piano. Pressing the keys so elegantly, Minuet graced the room with a lovely harmony.
Melody was passing by Minuet's room when she heard Minuet's piano playing and stuck her head in to listen.
Minuet continued playing until she lifted her head and saw the Pop/Rock Troll listening, smiling, saying, "Greetings, Melody. what brings you here"?
Melody saw that Minuet had noticed her, and entered the room, saying, "Oh, hey, Minuet. I was just walking by and I heard piano music, so I thought I'd stop in and see who was playing. You sounded really good."
Minuet replied, "Thanks; it's a mere concerto aria that my mother taught me when I was 6 months."
"Woah, 6 months old, you learned how to play this masterpiece," Melody asked, really surprised.
Minuet nodded, saying, "Yep. My mother saw how prone to mastering skills I was at a very young age, and tried to teach me as many things she could. While I excelled in the violin and cello, the piano has always been a close second instrument I find much joy in."
Melody sat beside her on the seat in front of the piano, saying, "I know what you mean. I love my electric guitar, but sometimes, when I'm with my mom, I like to practice the piano a bit. Its soft gentleness, contrasting with the rough and tumble Rock half of me, just brings a peaceful serenity to it."
"Really? I never thought of you finding your view of the piano to such a high degree before. How often do you play," Minuet asked.
"As often as I do when I'm with my mom. I'm not as good as you are, but I can still play a pretty good tune now and then," Melody replied, eyeing the keys before she started to play a gentle song on it.
Minuet watched in awe, saying, "Wow, that's pretty good. But you know what can make it sound even better," before she started to play alongside her, pressing on the higher keys of the piano, the two working together to play the melody together.
"Hey, that does sound good," Melody complimented.
"Though...it's missing something...but what," Minuet inquired.
Melody then smiled, saying, "I know what it needs."

Melody thought about it before answering, "Permission granted, and while that would be fun, I think I'm more of a "playing for fun" piano player. Plus, being in the orchestra would make it hard to keep up with my shifts at the salon."
Minuet then asked, "Ooh! I've always wanted to ask you this: what made you gain an interest in hair styling to begin with? And can you teach me how to style hair as well"?
Melody answered, "I can teach you a few basic skills, and as for the story of what got me started, I'll tell you: on the condition that you tell me how you get your bangs to curl so beautifully like that"!
Minuet chuckled in response, saying, "Well, it's in the way I use the curling iron. See.."
Val was in the lobby living room, curled up on the couch, reading a Glitterborn Chronicle book. However, she was feeling a little bored, not because she didn't like the series; she loved it! But she's already read the one she was currently reading 5 times already, so she knew the story by heart, and it felt rather...dull now since she could easily predict what was gonna happen next.
"Oh no, will Mal Maelstrom be able to fight back," Val commented in a tired/dry excited voice, flipping the page to see what would happen next. When she saw what was going on on the next page, she weakly raised her fist up, saying dryly, "Yay, she's fighting back."
"Geesh, what's got ya pigtails feelin' flat there, Val," a new voice chimed in, making Val lift her head up to see who it was.
It turned out to be Delta, who had trotted in, seeing what the Rock ambassador was up to.
Val looked at Delta, answering, "Eh, I don't know, but I'm a bit bored if you want me to be honest. I've been reading this Glitter Chronicle book, but I've read it like, 5 times already, and I can already predict what'll happen next. I need something new to read, something exciting! Thrilling! Something that won't put me to sleep."
Delta thought about it before suddenly, she got an idea, snapping her fingers before saying, "Ay think ay got just what y'all need," before trotting away to get something.
Val watched curiously, unsure of what the mayor of Lonesome flats was gonna get.
When Delta came back, she declared, "Ok, Val. Here's one ov my favorite lil' books ay enjoy reading from taame ta taame. It may nawht be laake the kaand ov stories y'all Rock Trolls are used ta, but it's just as excaatin'," before giving Val a blue book with a picture of a cowTroll riding a CountryTroll on it, and the title in silver letters, reading "The Lone Troll Ranger."
Val looked at it curiously, saying, "The Lone Troll Ranger? What's this about"?
Delta answered, "Oh, it's one of the best book 'round! The Lone Troll Ranguurr is 'bout this here cowTroll Ranguurr who roamed the Wild West with his trusty country Troll steed named Tonto, ayn' they would work togethuurr ta stop bad guys ayn' faheet outlaws-,"
Val, impressed/amazed, quickly interrupted Delta by saying, "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! You mean he's like some cow folk superhero"?!
Delta thought about it before answering, "Whel, when y'all put it laake that, in ayy sense, yeah, ay guess he is kaand ov laake ayy superher."
Val chuckled, saying, "Awesome! I wanna read this"!
Val immediately opened the book and was about to read it before she looked up at Delta and asked, "You wanna read it with me"?
Delta smiled, saying, "Whel, sure, ay'll join ya," and sat besides Val, the two reading the book together. While they read, in their minds the two envisioned being in the story as the Lone Ranger

Out in the wild, wild west, two masked Troll bandits were riding a stagecoach, carrying many bags of money with them.
"Haha! We robbed that there bank clean out of its precious cash," the first robber said.
"Yeah! and we're now rich, rich, rich! And there's nothing that no one can do about it," the second robber announced, with both robbers cackling together.
Suddenly, one of the robbers heard the sound of thunderous footsteps, making him say, "Hey, what's the sound"?
From the distance, a dust cloud was growing within the dusty plains, only growing bigger, while the noise only got louder.
Suddenly, the sound of whoever was making the thunderous footstep noises, and the dust cloud, emerged, revealing to be Delta, who in this daydream, was wearing a light blue headband with colorful feathers with white stripes on them, and two black lines under her eyes.
Riding on top of her was Val, who in this daydream, was wearing a dark purple long sleeve button shirt, black jeans, brown boots on her feet, black fingerless gloves, a red bandanna tied around her neck, a black mask over her eyes, and a white cowgirl's hat on her head.
"Yeehaw," she shouted, saying in a Country accent, "Come on, Tonto! Ay reckon we oughta catch these bandits ayn' chase 'em out ov town"!
Delta, named Tonto in this daydream, replied happily, "Y'all know it, Lone Ranguurr! Ay'll step on it with all my maheet"!
Tonto galloped as fast as lightning, easily catching up to the moving stagecoach. Once they were close enough, Val pulled out a water gun from her pocket, and used her foot to kick the door open, saying while pointing the water gun at them, "Reach faw the sky, boys"!
Both bandits screamed in shock, with one of them saying, "Oh no! It's the Lone Ranger," while the other one said, "And she's loaded...with water! She's gonna soak us"!
Tonto then used her lasso to nab the two bandits, capturing them, while the Lone Ranger jumped up and onto the stagecoach, pulling its brakes so it would screech to a stop, easily saving all the stolen money.
With the bandits caught, Tonto stated, "The only place y'all will be goin'," while the Lone Ranger finished with, "Is ta jail"!
The pair high-fived each other for a successful rescue.
End of mindscape daydream...
Back in reality, Val and Delta were both reading the book together, intrigued with each chapter they read.
Tiny Diamond was in his room with Clampers, the two in the midst of a fun game of soccer, kicking the ball around the hallway.
Clampers currently had the ball, saying, "Yeehaw! Coming at ya, Tiny," and kicked it to him.
Tiny easily intercepted it, kicking it around while saying, "Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah! I am the primo of soccer players! Hey, heads up, Clampers"!
Tiny kicked the ball towards her, as Clampers happily chased after it.
When the ball bounced, Beat was floating by and saw the ball coming right at him, and before he could do anything about it, the ball ended up right on top of him.
Tiny and Clampers gasped when they saw the ball squishing Beat, with Tiny saying, "Oh no! Beat! Are you ok"?
Suddenly, to both kids' surprise, they saw Beat easily lifting up the soccer ball, saying, "Booyah"!
Clampers and Tiny cheered, with Tiny blasting his airhorns excitedly, with Clampers declared, "Goal"!
Beat placed the ball down, saying, "Oh, yeah! I'm bad! of course, by bad, I mean, good"!
"Wow, man! How were you able to do that," tiny asked, placing his airhorns away.
Beat replied, "Well, I may be tiny, but I can still carry a mighty ball! Mind if I join you guys"?
Clampers and Tiny both nodded, and together, they started up their game of soccer again, now with Beat happily bopping the ball to them with his head/body.
As they continued to play in the hallway, the ball bounced off the walls and doors, and the trio all laughed, having a good time while they played. Chasing after the ball, Beat provided sport-like commentary by saying, "and it's down to the wire, folks! Team Trolls is really showing their stuff! Tiny passes it to clampers, who passes it to Beat, who passes it back to Tiny! Goal approaching fast, folks! They just need one more goal to win the championship!"
Tiny prepared to kick the ball, with Beat saying, "He shoots"!
Tiny kicks the ball, and it soared across the hallway...and right into something that made the trio gasp in shock. The ball ended up hitting Laguna, who was coming up from the elevator and had just walked out when the ball came and bonked her on the side of the head, making her fall onto the floor.
"Uh oh," Clampers shouted in concern.
"Laguna! Are you ok," Beat asked, worried about her.
They ran, or in Beat's case, floated, up to her, as Laguna sat upright, using her hand to try and find her glasses, which had fallen off. While looking, she replied, "Note" I'm not hurt too badly, but I'm lacking my required glasses, and it's very hard to find them in my current state of blurriness."
Tiny looked around and saw Laguna's glasses lying on the floor, and ran up to them, saying, "I'll get them for you, amphibious Techno lady"!
He picked the glasses up, quickly giving the lenses a polish so they'd be clear, before walking up to Laguna and giving them to her.
Laguna placed her glasses back on, her vision returning back to normal, before saying, "Phew, that's a lot better now."
"Sawry about that. We didn't know y'all were comin' up," Clampers apologized on behalf of the boys.
Laguna chuckled, patting Clampers on the head while saying, "It's ok, Clampers. Though, maybe it might be much safer if we take this game of soccer outside."
"Yeah, that way, we won't hit anyone in the head again, or break anything by accident," Beat instructed.
Tiny used his hair to pick up the ball, saying, "Yeah, let's head outside! Want to join us," before tossing the ball to her.
Laguna caught the ball with her right foot, dribbling it around her fins before hitting it up with her knees, and then rolling it along her arms before it reached the tip of her left finger, spinning perfectly balanced on it.
Clampers, Tiny, and Beat were impressed, with Tiny saying, "Dang, Techno lady's got mad soccer skills"!
"Wow! Where did y'all learn ta do that there." Clampers asked.
Laguna rolled the ball back into her hands, holding it with one hand while answering, "Well, I played a lot of hacky sack back at the reef, so I have a sense of athleticism within me. I could show you a few tricks if you want."
"Yes," all three of them exclaimed excitedly as they headed to the elevator to head outside.
"Stop."
"Ay'll quit it if y'all explain it ta me. Ay don't see-"
"Can we please just drop it"?
This conversation was actually Sid and Buckaroo talking together while sitting in a comfy booth seat at the nearby 5-Star Diner. Buckaroo was currently using a spoon to stir some creamer into the cup of coffee she had, while Sid was pouring some creamer into his own cup, not even bothering to stir it in, and in front of both of them was a small stack with two plates, and silver utensils, and a T-bone steak bone resting on the top plate.
While she stirred, Buckaroo replied, "Alraheet, alraheet, faane, faane, faane. Consider it dropped, it's dropped. Restin' on the ground."
Sid answered, "Good," while finishing up his creamer packet, pouring the last bits of it into his coffee.
Buckaroo was about to take a sip of her cup of coffee before she chuckled, saying, "But ay mean, come on, y'all! Ever'one loves birthdays"!
Sid groaned in annoyance, not wanting to bring up the topic that they were talking about earlier yet again.
Buckaroo added, "Y'all got decorations, y'all got balloons, y'all got parties, ayn' cake"!
Sid replied, "Look, detective, I don't like celebrating my birthday, period. And besides, even if I did, I don't need presents, I don't want decorations, and I'm not a cake Troll."
Buckaroo sipped on her coffee, saying, "Y'all seriously don't laake cake? Name one food bettuurr than cake."
Sid then raised his fork eagerly, saying, "Bugs"!
Buckaroo facepalmed, saying, "Aw again with this here bug thing," and gave Sid the sugar container, saying, "Seriously, between Branch ayn' his odd bunker grub, ayn' y'all with this weird thing faw bugs, y'all got some strange food cravings as Trolls."
While Sid ignored her, pouring the sugar into his coffee, Buckaroo then said, "Ay bet if ay wrapped ayy blindfold 'round ya, y'all wouldn't tell the difference between ayy bug ayn' ayy glob ov red gelatin."
Sid placed the sugar container down, answering back with a grin, "Wrong, detective! I have a really great sense of smell; I can smell things from miles away."
"Really," Buckaroo asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Yep," Sid replied as he sniffed the air, saying, "Mmm, delicious."
Buckaroo leaned up against her chair, saying while Sid basically chugged down the now very sweet coffee, "Ay don't know, bugs are...they're ayy bit slimy ayn' strange if y'all ask me."
Sid happily answered, placing his now empty coffee mug down while picking up the bone of the T-bone steak, "That's what makes them so delicious! You're not just eating food; you're eating pure flavors of weirdness that's oddly satisfying"!
He tossed the bone away, saying, "It's not about the bug; it's about what it symbolizes on a deeper level"!
Buckaroo was taken aback a bit, surprised to hear this, before grinning, saying, "So, y'all ken..really smell things from maales away"?
Sid groaned, shooting her a deadpanned look while saying, "Bah, forget about it."
Buckaroo chuckled, asking, "What else ken y'all do? Can y'all hear color? Heh heh, ken y'all see sound"?
Sid took it all in, not amused, but allowed the detective to ramble on, listening to her say, "'Cause those would be some very impressive talents ta have"!
He replied, "Ok, fine. Let it all out, get it all out now."
Suddenly, both Trolls heard the clock chime and saw that it was 12:30 pm, making Sid say to her while pointing at the clock, "Look at that; 12:30 pm. Now, I know the exact moment our friendship died."
Buckaroo chuckled in response, saying as she took another sip of her coffee, "See how much fun we're havin', Sid"?
Sid toyed with his fork, saying, "Well, I will admit it's kind of cool to have someone to talk to. Never thought I'd share my thing about my taste for bugs with anyone."
Buckaroo replied, "See? Y'all wouldn't be able ta do that if y'all didn't have ayy friend besaade ya ta chat with."
Sid shrugged, saying, "Eh, I guess that's true in a sense." He toyed with his fork again before asking, "Say, detective, can I pry with you a minute? Why is it that you're being so nice to me? I've been acting like a jerk since you all first saw me, and yet, not once have you guys wanted to throw me out or have me leave."
Buckaroo answered, "Whel, 'cause ay think that you're only actin out 'cause you're misunderstood. 'Cause it ain't easy faw ya ta connect with them othuurr Trolls since y'all don't know us that well. Ayn', yeah, ay will say y'all have been ayy bit jerk-laake, ayn' ay'd be lyin' if ay said your behavior doesn't make me suspicious ov ya, but...ay felt laake maybe if y'all had someone do something kaand faw ya, it maheet make things easiuurr."
Sid rolled his eyes, "Not like it's gonna change with the others. Aggie still hates my guts, and everyone else is just clueless."
Buckaroo then asked, "Alraheet, maand if ay chime in ta pry on somethin'? What is it with this here beef between ya both? Why is it that ya both seem ta really dislike each othuurr, especially how y'all appeared to be becomin' friends when we first met ya"?
Sid answered, "The answer's simple: we just have this "grudge" against each other, and that's all I'm gonna say on that, and don't even bother asking any deeper."
Buckaroo, to his surprise, understood, as she answered, "Alraheet, ay get it, but if y'all want me ta be honest, y'all should really drop this "grudge" y'all say y'all have ayn' try ta get along. Even if y'all both don't wanna be friends, the most y'all ken do is at least try ta respect one anothuurr, ayn' nawht go brawlin' laake she done thought y'all were ayy monstuurr."
Sid, to her surprise, chuckled in response, before he straightened up, saying, "Ok, fine, I...guess I could try, but I don't promise anything."
He then answered, loosening up his frown and showing a small semi-smile, "Hey, um...thank you for...doing this. This was...kind of fun actually."
Buckaroo replied, "Y'all are welcome, Sid. Ya know, we ken do this here again in the future if ya want."
Sid thought about it, saying, "Yeah..sure, I'm down. And...you know, about this "friendship" thing...maybe you're right. I...guess it couldn't hurt to just give it a go and see how it works...if you...wanna be friends with someone like me anyway."
Buckaroo grinned, saying, "Sure, if that's what ya want."
"Strangely...that is what I want," Sid replied, his semi-smile slowly growing...into his first genuine smile.
A little while later, everyone was hanging out in the lobby, chatting excitedly and laughing.
Barb was sharing a funny joke with R&B, Gust Tumbleweed, and Riff, and they ended up laughing as a result.
Low-Note Jones was telling the ambassadors the story about when he first met his pet Snug-a-lug.
"Awwww, so that's how y'all first met it," Holly replied in awe, while passing out the finished cookies she baked in honor of Friendship Day.
"And it explains why it's so irresistibly cute," Val added with a slight shudder, remembering the failed attempt of when she, Gust, Aggie, Melody, Branch, and Laguna tried to pet sit it.
Buckaroo and Sid soon entered through the doors, with Buckaroo declaring, "Howdy, y'all, we're back"!
"Buckaroo, you hung out with Sid," Smidge asked, surprised to see the two together.
"Yep. We went to the diner in the city ayn' we ended up havin' ayy good ol' taame togethuurr, raheet, Sid," Buckaroo replied before looking at Sid.
Sid shrugged and said, "Well, I'll say it was...nice to say the least. She's...a pretty good friend," before walking over to the couch to sit.
Holly, overhearing this, trotted over to Buckaroo and whispered, "Whel, hot dang, y'all actually got him ta befriend y'all, Buckaroo! How did y'all do it"?
Buckaroo answered back quietly, "Whel, ay guess, once we sat ayn' ay got ta talk with him ayn' learn 'bout him mawe, he's actually 'lot mawe mysterious, but unique, than ay thought. Ay think all the lil' guy needed was someone ta listen, ayn' now, he seems tolerable with me at least."
Aggie then flew up, saying, "Attention, guys! I have something I want to say to all of you."
All of the Normal Trolls gathered around to listen to what Aggie was gonna tell them.
Aggie smiled, saying, "I just want to say, to all of you, I'm so happy to be celebrating Friendship Day with each and every one of you. I normally celebrate it with my family since they were always the closest people to friends I had to celebrate with, but this year, I', very lucky to have a plethora of colorful, bright, funny, kind, special new friends, you all, to be celebrating with. Ever since I met you all, you immediately opened your arms and welcomed me in, as if I was already a part of your warm community, and that is something I'm always gonna be grateful for. I'm happy to have you all in my life, and I really want us all to stay together like this, for the next Friendship Day, and many more."
All the Normal Trolls felt deeply touched by the kind words Aggie was telling them, some of them close to ready to start crying happy tears.
"Yo," Synth sniffled, smiling happily while saying, "Those are some very deep words there, future sis-in-law."
Barb was doing her best to not shed any tears but had some residing around her eyes, as she grinned, saying with a chuckle, "Dang it, Aggs, your words just hit harder than a guitar smash does."
"We feel the same way," Dante mentioned, using a white tissue to wipe away his happy tears while he smiled.
"It's all of us together: all for one and one for all," Low-Note Jones stated happily.
Aggie grinned before saying, "And, I also got one more gift for you, guys," before she pulled out what looked like a photo projector and placed it on the table, before she placed a white blanket over the TV.
Once that was set up, she flew to the couch, sitting on the floor, right next to Trollex, who smiled and kissed her on the cheek, making Aggie blush, before she turned on the photo projector, which was displaying, on the blanket, a photo of everyone together back in the Troll Kingdom, the day Aggie had first got her magic.
"Ooh," everyone said in awe.
Aggie giggled, saying, "I made a photo slideshow with all of the special moments we all shared together as friends, whether it was just two of us, or 5, or all of us together. A simple way to show how much our friendship has grown since we've met."
All of the Trolls happily sat together and watched as Aggie played the slideshow, showing off all the photos, while a song played in the background.
