Disclaimer- I don't own Trolls or Trollstopia in any way, size, or form. Melody Song, Mal Shredder, Stereo, Twilight Tidepool, McJagger, Buckaroo, and now finally, Sid Scales are my O.C.s and belong to me. Aggie and her family members on her mother's side, her father's side, her parents, cousins, siblings, and all other MMTs belong to I.M. Rally. I also do not own the songs or the lyrics selected that I use for this chapter today. Now, let's get to it!

Poppy and Branch: You can do it solo!

Aggie and Trollex: But then you'd be all by yourself.

Stereo and Synth: (Synth: Yo!) So, it'd be more fun to share this one with someone else! (Tiny Diamond: Hit it, daddy!)

Rhythm, Blues, Quincy, Essence: Together, we will soar across the sky and beyond! (Prince D: To the great beyond!)

Holly Darling, Buckaroo, Delta Dawn: So, tune-up your voice!

Val Thundershock, Barb, and Melody Song: Stand up and sing along!

All: All different voices (Tiny Diamond: Everybody now!), our melodies ringing. We're living in harmony! Yeah, we're living in harmony! Our song is much stronger will every troll singing. We're living in harmony!

Band Bashes

Days seemed to pass like comments in the sky, as the Normal Trolls continued to have many memorable memories made while in Harmonious Land, including this past Sunday, where the Normal Trolls all went on a crazy scrapbook hunting spree after Poppy had offered her scrapbooks to all of Harmonious Land, and it caused some "minor chaos.

And who could forget yesterday, where they found out about Aggie, Shimmer, Chin-Hwa, and Silovay being a group of party saving heroes called the PArty Protectors, and even had some of the Normal Trolls (Prince D, Dante, Melody, Gust, Laguna, Smidge, and Synth) joining the posse to help them defeat a group of party ruining MMTs called the Party Ruiners, led by a menacing Magic Pop Troll named Cade, who Aggie easily defeated.

Currently, with the sun shining on a brand new day of endless possibilities and adventures, in Smile-o Smile-o City, there was music in the air and excitement! And along the busy sidewalk streets, you could hear 6 happy female Trolls singing a fun song while they were /dancing/singing together. In fact, the song they were singing was so good, it had a perfect harmony, or should I say, a perfect Troll Harmony?

While all 6 girls broke into laughter and a bunch of high-fives after a fun song, a new kind of music filled the air: a symphony of rumbling tummies.

Holly held her stomach while saying, "Whel, hot dang, y'all; all that singin' ayn' dancin' has made me all sorts of hungry."

Blues added, "Yes to the yes, Holly; I think we're all h to the hungry right now."

Melody replied, "Well, performing does work up an appetite. Let's grab some grub while we're out here."

Aggie flew up, saying, "I know just what we need: one large pizza from Jollybee's! We can walk to the restaurant from here."

Rhythm commented, "Funktastic idea, Aggie," while Laguna added, "Note: I am 100% on board with this idea."

Melody then declared, "Great, let's go! Last one there's a Bergen," and ran off.

Holly raced after her, shouting, "Naw one leaves Holly in the dust! Ayn' what's ayy Bergen"?

The other four weren't far behind as they joined in on the racing action too.

At Jollybee's, Melody, R and B, Holly, and Laguna, were all sitting at one of the outside tables while Aggie was ordering food for them to share.

She paid and brought over a large pizza pie, saying, "Food's here, ladies! Let's chow down," and sat in her seat as each girl grabbed a slice and started to dig in.

Holly commented while chewing, "Hot dang, y'all, ay don't know if it's how they cook it, but ay love this here pizza"!

Melody added, "Mmhmm, from the melted cheese to the delicate placing of toppings all on a bed of tomato sauce and bread, it's heaven for your taste buds," while taking a bite from her slice.

Aggie then said, "I got to say, this is nice: spending time with friends, enjoying a meal together, chatting, what more could a Troll ask for"?

Blues looked into her cup of water and said, "Maybe some ice," as everyone broke into laughter from Blue's joke.

Laguna then mentioned, "I must say, while it's fun to hang out with our other friends, it's nice to have some time to chill with you girls," as Rhythm added, "Yeah, we're more than just a girl group or a band, ladies, we're friends for life, bonded by the power of music and friendship."

Everyone nodded in agreement as Melody then picked up her cup and said, "Then, I propose a toast, to us: Troll Harmony, growing closer by music, and by friends, every single day, and in hopes we keep making others smile with our songs and performances, not just in music. To Troll Harmony," as everyone declared while raising their cups, "To Troll Harmony," and took a sip in unison.

Then, Aggie felt her phone vibrating and pulled it out of her hair, noticing she was getting a call from her Aunt Encarnacion. she picked up and answered, "Hello? Hi, Aunt Encarnacion. Huh? Hmmm, that doesn't sound good. Ok, I'll come by to help. See you in a bit, bye."

When Aggie hung up her phone, she flew up, saying, "Sorry, girls, I got to go see my Aunt Encarnacion for a bit to help her with something. You think you'll be fine by yourself"?

Everyone nodded as Holly stated, "Naw worries, Aggie, we'll be faane. Y'all go help your folks ayn' we'll manage things here."

Aggie smiled and said, "Ok, got it. I'll see you guys back at the condo," and went to go find a bus to take to Chairmaasen so she could visit her maternal family.

Meanwhile Rhythm then commented, "So, who wants to hear a funny story," as everyone quickly raised their hands eagerly, wanting to hear it.

While Rhythm started to tell everyone the story, Scarlet and her bandmates were walking down the street, when the Magic Rock Troll noticed the group of Normal Trolls at the restaurant and groaned, saying, "Ugh, why do we always got to be running into them? They're everywhere"!

Dusty added, "Yeah, they're laake disgusting vermints, naw mattuurr where they go, they always faand ayy way ta get around"!

Opal added, "My eyes hurt from just looking at them," as Scarlet then said, "Why don't we go have a "chat" with them," and the group started to walk towards the Normal Trolls.

Meanwhile, Rhythm was continuing her story, saying, "And then, he ended up walking around like a dizzy Chicken Bug. He was like," and started to mimic being dizzy while clucking and mimicking flapping her wings like a Chicken bug, which made everyone at the table laugh.

Holly wiped a stray tear while laughing, saying, "Hot dang, ay sure wish we could've seen that," while Melody added, clutching her ribs, "So hilarious"!

Rhythm then said, "On the plus side, despite being so dizzy, he could still carry a tune. Something like: Well sometimes, I go out by myself."

Then, Blues joined in with Rhythm, singing in unison, "And I look across the water"!

Melody then commented, "That sounded really good," before pulling out her guitar and strumming it along to the beat of the song, adding, "And I think of all the thing, what you're doing. And in my head, I paint a picture," while Holly and Laguna added some back-up vocals, saying, "Ooh, I paint a picture"!

Then, Blues started to sing, "Cause since I-," before she looked over her shoulder and saw something that made her gasp and say, "Uh to the oh"!

That made everyone stop, with Holly asking, "What's wrong, y'all? Ay thought we sounded pretty good."

Melody looked over at what Blues saw and groaned, "Oh no, look who came to spoil our fun: it's the Wicked Witch of the Upper Rock Side, and her band of Magic Musical minions."

Laguna couldn't help but stifle her laughter from the creative nickname, asking, "Where did you come up with that," as Melody smirked and answered, "You're not the only Troll who likes to curl up with a good book."

When Scarlet and her bandmates approached them, Scarlet commented, "Well, well, look what the cat dragged in: a bunch of weirdos."

"Oh really? Have y'all looked in ayy mirror recently," Holly retorted back.

"What happened now," Rhythm asked while Blues asked, "Did we do anything that seemed "Weird" to you"?

Scarlet replied, "Oh no, you didn't do anything at all; we just overheard you Normals "singing," and frankly, it sounded like a bunch of birds dying."

'Hey! For your information, Ms. Bossy Boots, we have excellent singing talents, and much more class than you and your bandmates combined together," Melody commented back.

"Note: in fact, the five of us, including our friend Aggie, happen to be in a girl group together," Laguna mentioned.

"Ha! What's it called: Off-Key Outcasts," Dusty teased.

Holly rolled her eyes, saying sarcastically, "Oh yeah, real original, y'all."

Ethel then stated, "Ooh, I bet they're called the Warbling Weirdos"!

Scarlet added on, "And with Aggie as a member of their little "group" it really adds the weirdness"!

"One, Aggie is not weird, and you know it," Melody retorted back, not liking how Aggie's ex-girlfriend would not let up with teasing Aggie about being weird.

"Second, our name happens to be," Blues declared, with Rhythm adding, "Troll Harmony"!

"Because when we sing," Laguna described.

"We all sing in perfect," holly added on.

"Harmony," the five girls all sang together in beautiful harmony.

Scarlet and her bandmates looked at them before laughing, with Zyrus saying mid-laughter, "That was so bad"!

The girls all scowled, not appreciating the teasing that their musical talents as a group didn't appeal to Scarlet and her friends' "standards" of music.

Scarlet then said, "That's not even real music. Any Troll can just sing, but if you want true harmony, we can show you losers how it's really done, because around here, we're the best band in Harmonious Land! Rhyme...intended."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Let's Have a Battle (Battle of the Bands) from Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scarlet started to pull out her guitar and play a rock tune on it, while her bandmates accompanied her with their instruments, playing their chosen music and harmonizing vocally along with the music they each were playing while accompanying Scarlet with their music.
Scarlet (playing Rock music): So, you girls want to play together? So, you girls want to rock the town? We know of something that is better. Something to prove the best around.
Melody, Holly, Rhythm, Blues, and Laguna listened in, and while they did have respect for Scarlet and her band's talents as musicians, they did not like the cocky attitudes and teasing that followed with it.
Scarlet (playing Rock music): Why pretend we're all the same? When some of us shine brighter (Zyrus, Dusty, Ethel, Opal, Nadine (playing their according music and singing to their according music): Shine brighter!) Here's a chance to find your flame. Are you a loser or a fighter?
All (Scarlet's band): Me and you, you and me, why don't we see who is better? We don't have to be one in the same thing. Oh, what's so wrong with a little competition? Are you afraid of failing the audition?
Scarlet (playing Rock music): If you guys think you are stars, then prove it. Show that you rise above the rest. By proving that you're not the worst. Prove to us you can be the best ((Zyrus, Dusty, Ethel, Opal, Nadine (playing their according music and singing to their according music): Ah, ah-ah, ah!).
Finally, Melody had enough of the band's taunting and shouted, "Ok, enough! We've had it! You really want to see what we can do?! There's only one way to settle this"! She looked to Holly, R and B, and Laguna, who all glared at Scarlet and her band, nodding at Melody, who smiled with determination as she slammed her hands on the table and, with her friends, declared the one thing that they knew would settle this dispute!
Melody: Battle! You want to win it?! Let's have a battle! Battle of the Bands (R and B, Holly, Laguna: Ah, ah!)
All (Troll Harmony): Let's have a battle! We'll go all in it! Let's have a battle! Battle! Battle! Battle of the Bands!
Ethel: We can so beat you!
All (Scarlet's band): Battle!
Rhythm: Ha, you wish!
All (Troll Harmony): Battle!
Zyrus: I so want to win this!
All: Battle!
Holly: Nawht if we win it first!
The proclamation of the Battle of the Bands between both bands stirred the attention of passerby MMTs, who were stunned to see the confrontation/performance, as some were even recording it on their phones. Among the passerby was Governor Rodrigo, who took notice of both groups' feud.
All: Me and you, you and me, why don't we see who is better? We don't have to be one in the same thing. Oh, what's so wrong with a little competition? I'm going out and winning the audition!
Battle! You want to win it?! Let's have a battle! Battle of the Bands (R and B, Holly, Laguna/Zyrus, Dusty, Ethel, Opal, Nadine (playing their according music and singing to their according music): Ah, ah!)
Let's have a battle! We'll go all in it! Let's have a battle! Battle! Battle! Battle of the Bands!
Scarlet and her band, and the members of Troll Harmony all stayed on opposite ends of the table, glaring at one another.
Then, Governor Rodrigo stepped in, saying, "Ladies, gentleTrolls, at ease. We don't want to cause a scene now, right"?
Both sides eased up a bit, with Rhythm saying, "Rodrigo's right. It's not worth it to get so riled up, no matter how aggravating "some Trolls" can be," while shooting a look at Scarlet and her bandmates, who merely held their heads high and scoffed.
Rodrigo then asked the Normal Trolls, "Anyways, I couldn't help but overhear, but you five said that you're a girl group"?
"Y'all definitely heard raheet, Mr. Governor," Holly happily replied.
"Aggie's also a part of our girl group; we're called Troll Harmony, sir," Melody answered.
Governor Rodrigo seemed very impressed, saying, "Wow! A girl group with an MMT as a member, that's awesome"!
"Oh, please," Scarlet retorted, adding, "It's not awesome at all, but then again, weirdos connect with one another, so it doesn't surprise me."
"Do not make me go over there and kick your sorry-," Melody started to say, but Laguna held her back, making her calm down.
Rodrigo also stepped in to make sure nothing big came out of this, saying, "Now, now, all of you. Listen, perhaps there is a way we can settle this like civil Trolls. We don't want to cause any stirring tension now, do we"?
"No," the Normal Trolls replied glumly.
"No," Scarlet and her bandmates answered glumly as well.
Seeing both sides now settled down, Rodrigo then stated, "So, anyway's, since you both want to show that you're a terrific band, or group, together, why don't we settle this with a real Battle of the Bands competition"?
Both sides gasped in shock, while the crowd of MMTs watching also gasped in surprise, some of them recording this on their phones.
Rodrigo explained, saying, "See, as you know, tonight is the opening of the new store: Randy's Robotics, and we were gonna do a celebratory program to honor the store opening, but I think what might make the program more exciting is if we hold a little music showdown between a band of Magic Musical Trolls and a band of normal Trolls, with the Master of All Music competing alongside them, as a way to show off how Normal Trolls and MMTs can be able to perform together, even in competition. So, what do you say? Are you all interested"?
Scarlet and her bandmates were all smirking, with Scarlet saying, "Oh, we are so in. But i bet these Normal Trolls will just wuss out and be too scared to compete."
"Us? Scared? Ha," Blues commented.
"The day we're scared of performing in front of others is the day fish start to fly," Rhythm added on.
"Consider us in as well," Melody mentioned, with holly and Laguna saying, "Yeah," in unison.
Governor Rodrigo smiled, declaring, "Then, it shall be done! Tonight, at 8:30pm, we are gonna be holding a Battle of the Bands competition outside of the city mall, with Scarlet's band vs Troll Harmony"!
All of the MMTs in the crowd chattered in wonder and shock, unsure of who might win tonight.
"Are we sure about doin' this, y'all," Holly asked her friends.
"We got this, Holly. We have more talent, class, and harmony in our voices than that eccentric Magic Rock jerk and her crew," Melody replied.
"Plus, this would be a lot of fun to do as well," Blues stated, with Rhythm adding on, "We'd get the chance to share our musical talents to all the MMTs in attendance, and show them our group chemistry, especially how we can perform so well together."
"Note: plus, when they see Aggie performing with us, it'd show them that Magic Musical Trolls and Normal Trolls can play wonderful music together," Laguna clarified.
Holly smiled, saying, "That is true. Ok, let's do this, ladies! But, who's gonna tell Aggie about this"?
Melody replied, "We can tell her when we get back to the condo, and I'm sure she'll be just as excited to take part in this Battle of the Band contest with us."
"WHAT IN THE NAME OF MAGIC DID YOU GIRLS DO"?!
This exclamation was stated by Aggie, who had heard about Rodrigo's proclamation about the Battle of the Bands competition being held tonight in front of the city mall in Smile-O Smile-O City through social media, and was currently talking to the other Troll Harmony members inside the condo.
Melody, Rhythm, Blues, Laguna, and Holly all looked at Aggie nervously, with Blues saying, "In our defense, it just came out in the moment."
"Look, it was eithuurr agree ta compete, aw else we was gonna get endless teasin' 'bout it with naw end, ayn' y'all know we ain't cowards when it comes ta music," holly added on.
"Plus, Scarlet was teasing about you, and we couldn't just take it; we did it in not only your honor, but in our honor as a girl group," Melody mentioned.
Aggie replied, "I can understand that, and I appreciate you guys sticking up for me, but this is serious, girls. We are now gonna be competing against her and her band in front of hundreds, maybe even thousands of Magic Musical Trolls live! We've done a few live performances before back at the Troll Kingdom, but not like this."
"Hey, we got nothing to worry about, Aggie. As long as we are all up there together, doing what we do best, we can be able to win this contest," Rhythm replied.
"Note: Rhythm is right. Plus, the crowds of MMts watching us perform, with you alongside us, can help them see that it can be possible for a Magic Musical Troll to play music alongside Normal Trolls with great harmonic synchronicity and melodic unison," Laguna stated.
"And the best part is that when we win, we'll get to kick Scarlet's butt and prove her wrong," Melody added.
"Considuurr it laake payback faw all the awful things she's done ta ya, ayn' us," Holly pointed out.
Aggie thought about it, saying, "Well, that is a good point there."
"Please, Aggie," all 5 female Normal Trolls begged, with Holly adding, "We ken't be Troll Harmony without y'all."
"Yeah, after all, you're one of the best vocalists in the group," Blues responded.
"And the most magical," Rhythm added.
"Plus, you are the Master of All Music, and who better to shove Scarlet's words down her Magic Rock throat than the one MMT who knows music better than anyone," Melody stated.
Aggie gave it some thought before saying, "Well...ok, I'm in! i can't let you girls do this on your own; it's all 6 of us together, in it together"!
Aggie, Melody, Rhythm, Holly, Blues, and Laguna placed their hands in together, cheering in unison, "Troll...Harmony," before raising them up high.
Aggie then said, "Now, since I've had experience with competing in a Battle of the Bands contest before, I can give you all tips on what we need to do to make sure our performance is top notch. First and foremost, we aren't just gonna be relying on our voices this time; we're also gonna need to show the judges our group chemistry in playing together as well as singing. So, you're all gonna need instruments if we're gonna look like a proper band."
Holly pulled out her acoustic guitar, saying, "Ay don't got ta worry since ay got my acoustic guitar alongside me," and plucked the strings, playing a fun Country tune on it.
Melody pulled out her electric guitar, saying, "And I always am ready to rock out with my electric guitar," and played a Pop chord on it.
Aggie then flew over to Rhythm, Blues, and Laguna, saying, "and how about you three? you girls are gonna need instruments too, unless you don't have any."
R&B smiled, looking at one another, before saying in unison, "Actually.." before pressing a button on their remotes so they formed rollerskates on their feet, and zipping off to the side to get something, much to Aggie, Holly, Laguna, and Melody's confusion.
R&B then returned, with Rhythm on her orange keyboard, saying, "I'm funktastic on the keys," and pressed some of the keys down to play a little tune.
Meanwhile, Blues was sitting in front of a blue drum set, twirling tan drumsticks in her paws, while saying, "And I'm funk electric on the drums," before banging on the drums to form a funky beat and ending with a simple cymbal tap.
"Ooh," Aggie, Melody, Holly, and Laguna said in awe.
"Hot dang, y'all! Since when did ya learn how ta play the keyboard ayn' drums," Holly asked, impressed.
"I got some drumming lessons from Barb;s right-hand Riff," Blues commented.
"And Essence taught me how to groove on the keys," Rhythm added.
"And the best part..," R&B said in unison before they skated by one another and started to play each other's instruments, adding in unison, "We like to switch every now and then," before returning back to their own instruments, playing them while adding in unison, "And add a unique sound to our music when we play."
Aggie, Holly, Melody, and Laguna were happily clapping, with Melody saying, "Oh yeah! That sound so cool"!
Aggie then turned her head, asking Laguna, "But Laguna, what about you? You don't have an instrument."
Laguna then said, "Well...if I'm being honest," and pulled something out from behind her back, revealing to be a green music note-shaped bass guitar with a purple pattern, like Low-note Jone's, as it had a dark red guitar stem, blue strings with a gold bottom to rest on, and a dark purple top with red heart-shaped guitar string knobs to help tune the string if she ever needed to.
All 5 girls were surprised, and impressed at the same time, again.
"Wow, that's some funktastic bass guitar," Rhythm commented.
"Since when do you play the bass," Melody asked in intrigue.
Laguna replied, "Well when we were exploring the Music Areas, Prince D suggested that a great way for me to get a better understanding of Funk music is to try my hands at a Funk instrument. So, he lent me an old guitar that I could keep, and I visited a guitar store to get some new strings for it, and Low-Note Jones and McJagger had been giving me bass guitar lessons to learn how to play."
Laguna then played a really sweet funk riff, adding when she finished, "You could say I took to it like a fish takes to water."
"Girl, you sound amaza-bo-bonkers on it! Those lessons definitely paid off," Blues complimented.
Aggie smiled, saying, "Yeah, and look at us! We now have our own array of wonderful instruments, including me on my signature keytar," and took out her keytar, playing some awesome notes on it, with the other girls cheering Aggie on.
Suddenly, the sound of someone approaching them got their attention, as they turned their heads and saw Poppy approaching them, saying, "Hey, Troll Harmony! Ooh, y'all are looking great with your instruments! You girls up for a jam session"?
"More like a rehearsal jam session, Poppy, because we need to practice," Rhythm answered.
"Big time, girl," Blues added.
"Practice? For what," Poppy asked curiously.
Melody answered, "We are gonna be competing in a Battle of the Bands contest tonight"!
Poppy gasped in surprise, and before she could say anything, the other leaders had soon arrived and joined up with Poppy, overhearing the announcement, with Branch saying, "You're competing in a Battle of the Bands? Against who"?
"Scarlet ayn' huurr bandmates," Holly replied back.
"Oh yeah, there was a news story we saw that was talking all about it," Barb answered with a chuckle.
"Wait, it's already on the news," Aggie asked.
"Yep, y'all would be surprised how fast these MMT ken announce brand new news so fast," Delta stated with a smile.
Quincy then declared, "Well, we are very proud of you girls stepping up to the challenge. A Battle of the Bands competition is definitely a very interesting musical showdown to say the least."
"And we are here to give you girls a helping hand if you need anything," Essence and Trollex added in unison.
Aggie then said, "Actually, if you guys can, we'd love it if you can provide us some feedback. I'm already used to performing with my instruments in a band since I've done it with you guys as part of the Harmony Notes. But since this is the first time we're now performing with our instruments as Troll Harmony, I want to help them be able to brush up on band chemistry."
"Of course, Aggie, we'd be more than happy to help you," Trollzart announced.
"Why don't y'all raheet now show us what y'all got so far," Delta asked.
All 6 girls got their instruments ready, with Blues tapping her drumsticks while saying, "1, 2, 3, 4," and on cue, Troll Harmony began to play their instruments together, producing a beat, and singing along with it.
Melody: If you're lookin', for Mr. Right!
Holly: Need that magic ta change him ovuurr naheet!
Rhythm and Aggie: Here's the answer!
Laguna: Come and get it while you've still got time!
Blues: Get your boy on his knees, and repeat after me, and say...oh!
All: Take a sip of my secret potion! I'll make you (Blues: Fall in love!) fall in love! For a spell that can't be (Holly: Broken!) broken, one drop should be enough (Melody: Ooh!)! Take a sip of my secret potion; one taste and you'll be mine! It's a spell that can't be broken, and'll keep you up (Rhythm: All night!) all night! Boy, you belong to me; (Aggie: I got the recipe!) All: All the girls on the block knockin' at my door!
Rhythm, Melody, and Holly: I got the recipe!
All: Wanna know what it is that makes the boys want more!
Aggie, Blues, and Laguna: Now you belong to me!
All: Take a sip from my secret potion! I'll make you fall in love! For a spell that can't be broken, one drop should be enough! Boy, you belong to me (Laguna: Hey!); I got the recipe, and it's called Black (R&B: And it's called, and it's called Black Magic!) Magic!
And it's called Black Magic, yeah!
Falling in love (Rhythm: Hey!)! Falling in love (Holly: Yeeah)! Falling in love (Blues: Hey!)! Falling in love!
Falling in love (Melody: Hey!)! Falling in love, (Laguna: Ooh yeah)! Falling in love (Aggie: Hey!)! Falling in love! Magic!
"That was...AMAZING," Barb shouted in excitement, with the other leaders chattering in agreement.
"Yeah! We nailed it," Aggie commented.
"High-hair," shouted Melody, who gave a hair high-five to Holly and Laguna, while R&B did one of their signature handshakes.
"You all sounded really good together," Essence mentioned.
"And you definitely have a profound harmony with they way you girls are playing your instruments," Trollex happily added.
"Although..." Branch spoke up, making Rhythm ask, "Although? Although what, Branch"?
Branch replied, "Well, for starters, you all looked good playing together, but it seemed, I don't know...lacking."
"Lacking? What are we lacking," Blues asked.
"Maybe more bass," Laguna suggested while plucking a string on her bass guitar.
"I could try some new key chords," Rhythm commented while pressing some keys on her keyboard.
"More guitar riffs," Melody asked.
"More acoustics," Holly pointed out.
"No, something more...I can't put my finger on it," Branch replied.
Quincy spoke up, saying, "Branch makes a good point. Your performance while playing your instruments seemed sort of...stationary."
"Like...it seemed...stand-still," Essence added.
Laguna then had a notion, saying, "Well, when we normally perform without our instruments, we tend to go a bit acapella, but we also dance and interact with the Trolls that watch us."
"Oh yeah, Aggie's raheet. We always faand ayy way ta make the crowd feel laake THEY too are ayy part ov our performance."
Melody then snapped her fingers, saying, "That's it! Our signature social spark; that's what we're lacking! But..how can we be able to incorporate it into our band performance? You can't do that while standing still and playing your instrument...can you"?
Aggie smiled, saying, "You can, actually. And I can show you girls! We still have plenty of time to practice, so, we haven't a moment to lose"!
Taking their rehearsals outside, Troll Harmony and the Troll leaders gathered around, helping the girl group to perfect their performance get up in time for tonight's Battle of the Bands.
"Ok. So, another thing I was considering based on our first practice session with our instruments is that when I played with the Harmony Notes during the Battle of the Bands contest against the Siren Trolls, I found that one way to really captivate a crowd and get them into feeling like they're part of a performance is by singing from the heart."
"But we just did that earlier, right," Melody asked.
"Y'all did, but y'all sounded mawe laake y'all was busy focusin' on tryin' ta play unified, ya didn't exactly sound unified laake y'all normally did," Delta instructed.
All 6 girls looked at one another, with Rhythm saying nervously, "Well...I didn't want to say anything, but we did sound a bit..off. Like we were lacking our usual harmony."
"Oh thank goodness some Troll finally said it," Aggie said while she and the other Troll Harmony members sighed in relief.
"Ay was so nervous about us nawht playin' whel togethuurr, my voice got ayy case ov the nerves too," Holly admitted.
"And I was so worried about our instrument-playing abilities, I think it also affected my confidence in singing, and I ended up sounding a bit weaker than usual," Laguna admitted.
"Why are we feeling like this? We usually don't get nervous about singing together before," Melody stated.
"Well, maybe it's because this time, you 6 are put up against some real pressure, especially because you're facing someone we know," Barb pointed out.
"And someone that, while I really want to beat, am feeling jumpy about. I've never faced Scarlet in a contest like this before, and I so want to beat her in it, but..I guess the pressure of doing well and not letting you guys down is making me feel so nervous...even my singing is nervous too," Aggie added.
"Awwww," all the Troll Harmony members and the Normal Troll leaders said together before gathering together in a big group hug.
Once they separated from the hug, Poppy said, "You girls don't have to worry about feeling nervous; lots of Trolls get nervous when performing in a big contest. But it's ok."
Trollex then said, "Yeah, all you girls need to do is just unwind, relax, and then let your sound flow out with ease, like the running waters of a rushing river."
"Easier then and done. I'm so nervous, my prosthetic is shaking," before lifting her pant leg up and showing her prosthetic leg, at the knee joint, quaking a bit.
"Ayn' my tail's even shakin' in nervousness," Holly commented while looking down at her shaking tail.
The leaders looked at one another before they all approached Troll Harmony, with Trollzart saying, "Nervousness and fear can make one feel uncertain and unsure of their own abilities, but you girls don't need to face it alone; you have one another to rely on and help one another out."
"And you also have us, and all your friends here to support you and give you all the confidence you need," Branch added on.
Troll Harmony couldn't help but smile, feeling really grateful to have the leaders with them to help them out.
Then, Poppy got a great idea, saying, "Say, I know something that might help. For starts, what if we each gave you girls a personalized pep talk? Each of you girls will get a leader to talk to, tell them about what exactly makes you nervous, any little worries you might have, and then, they'll offer some words of wisdom to help you."
"That definitely would be really helpful," Rhythm commented.
"Anything you guys want to say, we are more than open to hear," Blues added.
Poppy then pulled a list out, saying, "I already have a list of which leader will talk to which member. Trollex, you'll be with Aggie."
Trollex and Aggie both smiled and blushed, with Trollex saying as he walked over to Aggie, "Don't worry, I'll be getting you so confident, you'll sing without even having to open your pretty mouth."
Aggie giggled, saying, "Though, I can still open it for this," and shared a romantic kiss with Trollex.
Poppy then said, "Barb, you're with Melody."
Barb grinned as she walked over to Melody, the pair fist-bumping one another.
"Delta Dawn with Holly," Poppy added.
"Woohoo," Holly cheered as Delta trotted over to Holly.
"Quincy will be talking with Rhythm," Poppy continued with the listing.
"Groovetastic," Rhythm commented.
"Funka-mazing," Quincy added while he and Rhythm shared a high-five.
"Blues will be with Trollzart," Poppy added on.
"The honor is mine to be providing you with a pep talk, Blues," Trollzart replied as he flew to Blues.
"The same honor is mine, Trollzart," Blues responded to him while bowing.
"And finally, Essence will be with Laguna," Poppy commented.
Essence walked over to Laguna, the two Trolls shaking hands/paws together.
Poppy placed the list back in her hair before saying, "And while they talking to you, Branch and I are gonna set up something to help you girls be able to find a wy to ease your nervousness about performing in this contest."
"Wait, huh? When did-," before he got dragged off by Poppy, who grabbed him by the hand as she ran into the condo with Branch in tow.
Inside the condo a few minutes later, the leaders that were assigned to talk to each Troll Harmony member brought each Troll into their room to talk to them.
In Trollzart's room, Trollzart was pouring some tea into a tea cup and offered it to Blues, who happily accepted it and took a sip.
Blues, grateful, commented, "Thank you very much for the tea, Trollzart."
Trollzart bowed, saying, "I always find tea to be a very calming solution to when a Troll is very nervous." While he poured himself a cup of tea, he asked, "So, tell me, child: why do you feel so nervous about this Battle of the Bands contest"?
Blues answered, "Well, you see, aside from this being Troll Harmony's first real competition competing against another band, it's also my first time showing off my drumming skills to other people. I'm worried about how everyone else is gonna think when they see me playing an instrument you normally don't see a Funk Troll play."
"But your fellow bandmates and even your own twin sister, think highly of your drumming skills. And isn't it true that, as you have demonstrated while you drum, you find enjoyment in it," Trollzart asked before taking a sip of his tea.
"I do; it feels so amaza-bo-bonkers to drum. I guess I'm just nervous about what others will think is all," Blues admitted to.
Trollzart then stated, "While it is normal to wonder on what your fellow peers' opinions will be on some of the things you do, it shouldn't be the main thought revolving your mind around it, because in the end, it is not up to them if you choose to drum. If drumming makes you happy and I can tell it does so, then you should do it solely for yourself. Pour your heart and soul into it, and let your talent expel to the great beyond of your own abilities."
Blues took a sip of her tea, saying, "Huh, I never thought of it like that. You know what? That actually does make me feel better. Thank you, Trollzart."
"I'm honored to have helped you," Trollzart happily responded.
In Barb's room, Melody was sitting on the couch next to Barb, who was lying on the couch, her head resting against a pillow.
"Barb, I don't see how you laying on the couch like this is gonna help me," Melody commented.
"Listen, Mel, I find that I get more inspiration when I'm relaxing, and thinking of nothing but Barb stuff. You should try it," Barb replied.
Melody looked at the Rock queen curiously but shrugged and chose to give it a try, laying back on the other end of the couch.
"See? Doesn't it feel good to relax like this," Barb asked?
"I would relax more if I wasn't more confused about this, nor stressed," Melody answered while prompting a pillow against her back.
"Bingo; you just got it," Barb then stated, sitting up.
"I...did," Melody asked.
Barb nodded, saying, "Yeah. See, the reason why I'm having you lie down like this to try and relax is that I could tell you're stressed. And when you're stressed, your nerves can act so hardcore, that you can't even rock right."
"Well, yeah, I am stressed. I'm just worried I'm gonna let everyone down," Melody admitted.
"Why would that worry you? You never let anyone down," Barb replied.
"Well, yeah, but that's when I do things I know I'm able to do well, like hair styling, or playing a game. But when there's something with uncertainty, I guess I get antsy about how well I perform, and I worry it won't be good enough," Melody confessed.
Barb then got an idea of just what to say, saying with a smile, "Listen, Mel, I've known you since you were a little Pop Rocker, and I can tell you that always find a way to do a great job in everything you rock in. Don't underestimate your own abilities, because together with your bandmates, you guys will soar. you just got to focus less on not doing well, and more on doing your best, and if you all do that, then you'll rock on that stage, and you'll easily beat that snobby Magic Rock Troll knucklehead and her posse."
Melody couldn't help but snicker before saying, "That is a good point there. Thanks, Barb; since when did you become so good at advice giving"?
To her surprise, Barb was asleep on the couch, before she opened one of her eyes, saying, Psyche," and caused Melody, and herself, to laugh together.
In Aggie and Trollex's room, Aggie and Trollex were both sitting on Aggie's side of the bed, with Trollex currently holding Aggie's hand while saying, "So, what's on your mind"?
"A lot of you want me to be honest. This is the second time I'm competing in a Battle of the Bands contest, and well, I didn't want to admit it but...I'm scared."
"Scared? What's making you feel scared about it," Trollex asked while caressing the back of Aggie's hair.
"Everything, honestly. Like...what if some great evil being comes to hurt my tribe or us during the contest, like what the Siren Trolls did before back when I earned my True Colors? Or what id we sing off-key, or we play off-key? Or even worse than that"?
Trollex could tell Aggie was really worried as he gave her a hug before asking, "Can I ask something? Why are you worried about what might go wrong"?
Aggie answered, "I...really don't know. I guess...after what happened last time when you guys were doing the Battle of the Bands, I'm scared...if something goes wrong, either we'll get hurt, or you guys will, or my tribe will and...I can't bear to witness that happen. Not only that, but I'm also feeling under some intense pressure. We are competing, not only live in front of all of Harmonious Land, but it's against my ex-girlfriend and her band, and, I don't want to sound like I'm worried for Troll Harmony's ability to play, but Scarlet and her friends are really good. What if I make a mistake, or we all mess up? We'll be embarrassed in front of everyone in Harmonious Land, embarrassed in front of Scarlet, who could use it to tease us relentlessly, and-,"
Suddenly, Trollex cut off Aggie's nervous rant by giving her a kiss on the lips, the happy couple locked in a loving embrace. Trollex knew that he could always find a way to help Aggie calm down, and figured a kiss might provide a good asset to that.
After they separated from the hug, Aggie smiled while she blushed, saying, "Thank you, Trollex. I..didn't know how much I really needed that."
Trollex smiled, saying, "You're welcome, Aggie, and now that I have your attention, let me give you some advice. I get why being in this kind of contest can worry you, but think of it like this: you've shown how capable you can be, Aggie. you're exceptionally talented in music, and whether Troll Harmony loses or not, it's not the score that matters, or how well things go that matters, but as long as you all play together at your best, that is what really matters. You each got a unique aspect of music you love to share with others, especially you, and as long as you all shine with your aspects, and use them together to ply in harmony, then you'll do amazing at that contest, whether something goes wrong or not."
Aggie smiled, feeling a lot better, saying, "You're right, Trollex. Plus, I'll have my friends up on stage with me, so it's not like any of us will be competing alone. Thanks, Trollex."
Trollex smiled and kissed Aggie on the cheek again, saying, "You're welcome. If you want, I can give you some more "encouragement" later."
Aggie blushed and laid her head on Trollex's shoulder, saying, "I think I'm feeling really encouraged right now with you here."
In King Quincy and Queen Essence's room, Quincy was playing his bass guitar, asking, "So, you've got a case of the nerves, huh"?
"Oh, you bet, your Funkiness," Rhythm replied while playing her keyboard in tune with the bass guitar, before asking, "And by the way, why are we right now making music at the moment"?
Quincy replied, "I find sometimes that if I'm feeling the jitterbugs, strumming a few tunes on my ol' bass helps me clear my mind of doubt and helps me think."
Rhythm thought about it before saying, "Well, playing these keys is helping me be able to focus on why I'm feeling jittery about this Battle of the Bands contest."
"And why's that," Quincy asked.
"Well...," Rhythm answered, adding, "I think for me, it's just feeling nervous about doing well. I...don't tickle the electronic ivories that often, and when I do, I'm always trying to be careful."
"Careful? About what," Quincy asked.
"About making sure I play the right keys, about making sure the tune matches the melody of the song we're playing, about a lot of things actually. but most importantly, I'm really aiming to be really careful when we're competing at the contest because I don't want to play the wrong note and mess things up for Troll Harmony."
"I feel as if you might not be as confident in your keyboard abilities as you think, am I right," Quincy asked.
Rhythm solemnly nodded in reply.
Quincy smiled and said, "Tell you what: play me something."
"Me? Play you a tune on the keyboard? Are you sure," Rhythm asked.
Quincy gave a nod in reply, allowing Rhythm to look at her keyboard and started to play a tune on it. Slowly, the more Rhythm felt the vibe of the keyboard, the more confident Rhythm started to get as she soon went funky and played with ease, grace, and above all: the talent of a thousand keyboard players.
Quincy watched Rhythm play her heart out, bopping his head to the beat.
Once Rhythm had concluded playing, she took a minute to catch her breath before saying, stunned by how she played, "Wow to the wow, that felt...funktastic! I-I never even played like that before! How did I-,"
Quincy then answered for her, saying, "I'll explain. When you allowed yourself to let go of your nervousness about playing so well and just played, your true talent came out, and you played magnificently. It's normal to want to make sure you play right, but don't let the fear of playing off-key falter with your playing abilities. Think of confidence like the keys of a keyboard: as long as you keep playing them to the end, you'll make a successful tune and your confidence will sound just as harmonious as the tune is."
"Now that's the kind of advice I can get my groove on," Rhythm replied, appreciating the pep talk.
In McJagger and Laguna's room, Laguna was sitting on the couch while Essence was pouring out some lemonade she brought from the kitchen.
Laguna accepted the lemonade cup as Essence sat next to her, asking, "So, tell me, child: why do you feel so nervous about this contest"?
Laguna took a sip of the lemonade before she spoke, saying, "Well, I'm not really nervous about the contest per see. IT's more of...something else."
"Are you worried about how well you'll play," Essence asked.
Laguna shook her head no, saying, "Not really. I've been practicing the bass guitar often, and I've been keeping tabs on how well I've been improving."
Essence then asked, "So, what might be that's making you feel on edge a bit"?
Laguna fiddled with her fingers while holding the cup, saying, "Well, I think in my case...I'm more worried about...the crowds."
"The crowds," Essence asked.
Laguna nodded while she explained, saying, "I'm worried about performing in front of a large crowd of people. When it comes to singing, I feel comfortable about it, but when it comes to playing in front of them, I feel really nervous about it. The last time I witnessed such a large crowd, I had a panic attack and..I'm worried my anxiety with witnessing a large group of Trolls I don't know...might trigger something while I play, and it might ruin our whole set."
Essence knew what Laguna was referring to, as she said, "Performing in front of a large crowd can definitely be nerve-wracking at first, especially when you're competing against someone, but you aren't alone. You'll be up there on that stage with your other Troll Harmony members performing right alongside you. And you'll also have us, your friends, cheering for you 6. So, if you feel your nerves kicking in, just look out at the crowd, and find us all cheering there for Troll Harmony, and it'll help you feel better."
Laguna liked the words of wisdom the Funk Queen offered her, as she looked up at essence, saying, "I definitely will utilize this advice. Thank you very much, your majesty."
Essence smiled and bowed her head in response.
In Delta Dawn's room, Holly was pacing the room back and forth, with Delta watching, as she said, "Y'all definitely seem ta be frantic."
"Ay tell ya Delta, ay'm mawe frantic than ayy jittery Puffalo who's eaten sugary sap leaves faw breakfast."
"Why are y'all so nervous anyway? Y'all do real naace togethuurr," Delta asked.
"Ay don't really know. Maybe ay'm just worried 'bout nothin', but ay'm just feelin' some jittuurrs 'bout the contest."
Delta then got a great idea, asking, "Say, Holly, in the beginnin' ov ever' Cutie Pageant contest, how do y'all always feel"?
Holly replied, "Oh, ay'm always excavated because it's fun ta be competin' 'gainst othuurr fellow Cutie competitors. Then again, ay do get ayy lil' competitive."
"Ayy lil'," Delta asked with a smirk.
"Ok, ayy lot. But it ain't my fault, ay laake ta win, ayn' sometaames, that drive ken get me into some bad trouble ay don't mean ta cause, ayn' ay don't laake ta hurt othuurrs by accident-,"
Holly covered her mouth after saying that last line, as Delta, who heard it, seemed to piece it together, asking, "Is that why y'all are nervous? 'Cause y'all are worried 'bout gettin' too competitive"?
Holly bit her lower lip before looking down sadly, saying, "Yeah. The last taame ay was in ayy contest, ay unintentionally hurt Stereo, ayn'...ay don't want ta make ayy mistake laake that again. Ay don't want ta hurt an innocent MMT, even if they are ayy bunch of jack-jerkies, aw any ov my friends by accident, just 'cause ay want ta win. ay know the othuurrs want ta win as much too, but it don't seem ta make me feel an' less nervous 'bout it."
Delta patted Holly on the back, saying, "It's normal ta feel competitive, but if that's the only thing on your maand, then it takes the fun out ov competin' in the first place. ay get y'all laake ta take it seriously, but ya know what maheet help? Try ta play ayn' compete with the goal ov havin' fun. Y'all laake ta have fun, raheet"?
"Yeah, ay do," Holly answered.
"Then make that your goal. Ever'one loves ta have fun, ayn' if y'all play with the goal ov havin' fun, then it makes it all the mawe enjoyable when y'all play togethuurr," Delta instructed.
Holly seemed to like the piece of advice given, saying with a smile,"Y'all know, y'all have ayy good point there, Delta! Ayn' if there's one thing Holly Darlin' loves mawe than ta compete, it's ta have fun with huurr friends! ayn' if we're all havin' fun toethuurr, playin' music at that there Battle of the Bands contest, then it'll make it all the mawe fun ta participate"!
She gave the mayor a hug, saying, "Thanks, Delta, faw the advaace"!
"Y'all are most welcome," Delta replied while hugging Holly back.
After the pep talk sessions, Troll Harmony walked back outside with the leaders who chatted with them following behind them and walking in on a very humorous sight.
All of their friends, including Poppy and Branch, were all wearing custom-designed purple T-shirts, with the term "Troll Harmony" on the front, and colorful glowing bracelets on their wrists.
Some of the Trolls also had purple makeup lines under their lines, while a few others also had a purple highlight streak in their hair, and Biggie was holding a giant poster with "Go Troll Harmony" on it in rainbow colors.
When the group saw Troll Harmony coming out, they all started to cheer loudly for them.
"Woah! what to the what," Rhythm asked, amazed.
"Is to the is al this," Blues added on, impressed."
"Your personal cheer section," Poppy answered, explaining, "We figured that it'd also be more supportive if you 6 had a special cheer section in the audience, cheering you on at the contest."
"This is humiliating," Sid commented, feeling utterly embarrassed wearing the get-up he thought was ridiculous.
"Lighten up, bro; this is for Troll Harmony," Synth reassured the grumpy "Pop" Troll.
"We know you all will do great in the competition," Dante proclaimed.
"And you'll easily kick Scarlet's band's butt," Val shouted.
"Awww, you guys did all of this for us," Aggie asked.
"Of course we did; we're all your biggest fans," Smidge answered.
"Ayn' we all are excavated ta see y'all perform," gust added on.
"Go, Troll Harmony," McJagger shouted happily, making all the other Normal Trolls start to cheer again.
"Y'all..this is so super sweet," Holly complimented, wiping away a happy tear.
"We can't thank you guys enough for this," Laguna added on, feeling touched.
"We're gonna rock on that stage and do our best for all of you," Melody declared.
Satin then stepped forward, saying, "And don't worry about your band costumes," while Chenille added, "We can handle that for you"!
On cue, Satin and Chenille began to work like whizzes, prepping everything to get Troll Harmony's costumes ready for the Battle of the Bands.
Both fashion twins whizzed by each Troll, marking the measurements of each girl, and got right to work on the sewing machines, sewing up something. After they finished their sewing, they broke out the cosmetics to apply a bit of makeup to each member. They applied on each girl some rainbow-patterned eye shadow, pink blush with tiny specks of glitter, and for a final touch, courtesy of Val and Barb, Aggie, Holly, R&B, and Laguna were given pairs of sunglasses to wear on top of their heads.
Once the makeup was applied, all 6 girls placed on their new sewn-up costumes.
In the end, they all modeled their costumes in the mirror, saying in unison, "Love it"!
Their costumes consisted of a golden glittered shirt with a red heart on it, but the heart had a microphone pattern in the middle a purple jacket with the embroidered "Troll Harmony" name in the back in rainbow-colored letters, black pants, and their sunglasses resting on their heads.
All 6 girls grinned happily, placing their hands together in a circle and saying in unison as they raised their hands up, "Troll...Harmony"!
Later on, that night, a lot of Magic Musical Trolls had gathered in front of a large stage that was set up in front of the city mall in Smile-o Smile-o City, cheering as on the stage, Scarlet and her band were currently playing a song together, playing their according music based on their selected genres, and singing together.
They were sounding really good, earning a lot of cheers from the crowd.
Backstage, Troll Harmony was watching, with Holly whispering nervously, "Hot dang, y'all; they really are good"!
"The crowd's going wild out there for them," Blues whispered, pointing out to the cheering crowd.
Not wanting to feel any more nervous, they walked behind the curtain and gathered together, with Aggie saying, "Ok, girls, listen up: no matter what, I just want to say how proud I am of us right now. We're gonna go out there, and do our very best, and no matter what happens, we'll give it everything we got."
"Yeah, and we'll have a lot of fun out there while we play our instruments proudly," Rhythm added.
"Plus, we have our friends out there cheering us on, and with us 6 playing together, we can do this," Laguna mentioned.
"Just relax, and let's enjoy ourselves while out on that stage," Melody commented.
All the members of Troll Harmony grinned, looking at one another with confident smiles, as Aggie said while pulling out her keytar, "Let's make some music."
On stage, Scarlet and her band soon finished performing and got their score from the judges, which ended up being a 29.7, a really high score that was gonna be hard to beat. With their set done, the band walked off stage, entering the backstage area,
Scarlet noticed Troll Harmony all set, and smirked, saying in an insulting voice, "Good luck out there. You're gonna need it," before she and her band cackled as they went to go rest.
"Let's kick some musical butt, y'all, with the power ov fun," Holly stated.
"Friendship," Melody added.
"And harmony," Laguna mentioned.
"Good luck out there, Troll Harmony," a new voice said, making Troll Harmony turn around and see all 6 leaders of Harmonious Land facing them, shocking the group, as Aggie asked, "President Trollazon! Governor Rodrigo! Congressowman Amelia! Mayor Travor! Chairman Bailey! Captain Raven! What are you guys doing here"?
"Rodrigo told us about the Battle of the Bands contest he announced," Bailey commented.
"And told us about your little girl group band that you 6 formed," Amelia added on.
"Ayn' we figured we'd stop by ayn' wish 'yall some luck," Travor commented.
"We can't wait to see your performance," Trollazon pointed out.
"Knock it out of the park," Raven declared.
Rodrigo smiled, saying, "We're excited to watch. Good luck, ladies."
The girls felt really grateful to see the leaders of Harmonious Land wishing them luck. Now, more than ever were they ready to play their hearts out.
On stage, the announcer running the contest declared, "And now, facing off against Scarlet and her band is tonight's competitors. Coming all the way from the Troll Kingdom, featuring the Master of all Music as one of their star-studded members, give it up for: Troll Harmony"!
The crowd cheered loudly for when Aggie, Melody, Holly, Rhythm, Blues, and Laguna walked onto the stage with their instruments in tow.
In the crowd, all of the Normal Trolls were dressed up in their band gear and cheering happily for their friends.
Synth noticed that his brother was missing, asking Gust, "Say, where's Trollex, yo"?
"Ay don't know; have y'all seen Delta," Gust asked.
"I've noticed that the other leaders appear to be missing," Dante answered back.
"Hope they'll arrive soon; they definitely don't want to miss this," Val added on.
"Hello, Harmonious Land," Troll Harmony proclaimed proudly.
Setting up their instruments, Aggie was ready with her keytar, Holly was all prepped with her acoustic guitar, Rhythm was ready on her keyboard, Blues was set to hit the drums, Laguna was ready to strum her bass guitar, and Melody was set on her electric guitar, starting out by playing a small beat, with Holly following her on the acoustic guitar, with Aggie taking the first lead verse.
Aggie: After searching, trying to find ya, I thought I'd lost my luck.
Blues then followed on by tapping the drums to a catchy beat, while Aggie added some keytar reverbs by paying her keytar.
Aggie: But I'd never thought in a million years that you would just walk right up (Melody and Holly: Ooh-ooh-ooh!)
Rhythm then joined in with playing her keyboard while Laguna followed on the bass guitar.
The Harmonious Land leaders were watching in amazement, with Bailey saying, "Wow, they play so well together"!
Melody: Now that I found your love,
"Yes, who knew we'd ever see Magic Musical Trolls and Normal Trolls could play so beautifully together in a band again," Amelia commented.
Holly: I could never let you down.
"Yeah, they're a pretty good band," Raven mentioned.
Laguna: Even when the times get rough,
Rodrigo then said excitedly, "They sound so rocking, I just feel like I have to-," before suddenly pulling out his guitar, saying, "I'll be back in a bit, guys, bye,"!
R&B: No, nothing's gonna stop us now!
On cue, Rodrigo then stunned the audience by happily sliding onto the stage on his knees and, to Troll Harmony's surprise, joining in on their song, as Troll Harmony started to dance and interact with the crowd while they played and sang together.
Scarlet and her band were shocked in disbelief that the governor of Harmonious Land had chosen to perform alongside Aggie and the Normal Trolls, and not them!
Troll Harmony and Governor Rodrigo: We'll grow old and we'll never be alone! And no matter where we roam, we'll be glorious! We'll be glorious and you know it's true!
"Are you kidding me?! Our own governor's performing with those weirdos," Scarlet commented in shock and anger.
"How is this even happening," Ethel added on.
"No fair," Zyrus mentioned, with Dusty, Nadine, and Opal scowling in agreement.
Rhythm and Holly: Now we're glowing like a fire illuminating from within (Melody: Ooh-ooh-ooh!)!
Blues and Laguna: So we keep on climbing higher to the sky. We're going where we've never been, oh (Aggie: Ooh-ooh-ooh!)!
Aggie: Now that we set us free (Troll Harmony: Hey!), nothing's gonna hold us down (Troll Harmony: Hey!)! Even when the times get rough (Troll Harmony: Hey!), we'll never lose the fight in us!
Feeling very excited and the vibe of the cheering crowd, and their cheering friends supporting them, Troll Harmony decided it was time to turn it up a notch. Blues decided to go all artsy on the drums, Laguna turned it up on the bass, Melody and Governor Rodrigo simultaneously shredded on their guitars, Holly squared danced while plucking her acoustic guitars, and Aggie laid out a beautiful keytar reverb.
Troll Harmony and Governor Rodrigo: We'll grow old and we'll never be alone! And no matter where we roam, we'll be glorious!
While Troll Harmony danced on the stage and interacted with the crowd, they were having so much fun, and the audience, and the judges, were also having a lot of fun too.
All of the Normal Trolls were dancing along with Troll Harmony.
Online, on TV, and on social media, a lot of MMTs was watching the Battle of the Bands contest, and they too were enjoying Troll Harmony's performance.
Troll Harmony and Governor Rodrigo: We'll grow old and we'll never be alone! And no matter where we roam, we'll be glorious! We'll be glorious and you know it's true!
For a moment, time seemed to pause for the band, as all 6 girls looked at one another happily, enjoying all the fun they were having. It didn't matter if they win or lose, because they were having so much fun, they never wanted this beautiful moment to end. It was so...glorious.
Rhythm and Blues: You and I, we're never gonna rest!
Holly: Keep up the dream like it's life or death!
Aggie and Melody: And you and I, we're never giving in!
Laguna: Never giving in, never giving in!
Troll Harmony and Governor Rodrigo: And you and I, we're never gonna rest! Keep up the dream like it's life or death! And you and I, we're never giving in Never giving in; we're never giving, never giving!
Suddenly, Troll Harmony was in for a big surprise: behind him, rising up on a podium and performing behind them, were the Normal leaders, accompanying them with their instruments, and even singing along. They were all wearing the same Troll Harmony costume the girl group had, and they were all having as much fun as they were, and Troll Harmony could not be more grateful, or excited.
The Normal Trolls in the audience, the leaders of Harmonious Land, and especially Scarlet and her band, were surprised to see this, but the audience were all cheering very excitedly and loudly, and they seemed to really enjoy it. The Normal Trolls and the Harmonious Land leaders were definitely enjoying it too, while Scarlet could only grit her teeth in anger and utter disdain.
Troll Harmony and Governor Rodrigo: (Normal Troll Leaders: You and I, we're never gonna rest!) We'll grow old and we'll (Normal Troll Leaders: Keep up the dream like it's life or death!) never be alone! And no ((Normal Troll Leaders: And you and I, we're never giving in!)) matter where we roam, we'll be glorious (Normal Troll leaders and Troll Harmony: Hey!)!
(Normal Troll Leaders: You and I, we're never gonna rest!) We'll grow old and we'll (Normal Troll Leaders: Keep up the dream like it's life or death!) never be alone! And no ((Normal Troll Leaders: And you and I, we're never giving in!)) matter where we roam, we'll be glorious!
All: We'll be glorious and you know it's true!
Aggie: Ooh-ooh-ooh!
Holly: Ooh-ooh-ooh!
Rhythm: Ooh-ooh-ooh!
Laguna: Ooh-ooh-ooh!
Melody: Ooh-ooh-ooh!
Blues: Ooh-ooh-ooh!
All: Ooh-ooh-ooh! Ooh-ooh-ooh!
After their performance ended, a lot of Magic Musical Trolls in the crowd were cheering excitedly, clapping, and cheering for an awesome performance.
The judges all looked at one another and nodded, and with prominent smiles, they each wrote something on their boards and shot them up together, showing they each wrote 10 on them.
"And it's official," Governor Rodrigo announced, putting his guitar away and taking out his microphone, saying, "The winners of the Battle of the Band is..Troll Harmony"!
All 6 girls celebrated, jumping up and down excitedly and hugging one another, with the leaders, who had placed their instruments away and went to join the girls in their celebration.
Scarlet growled in anger, upset that she and her band had lost, as she scoffed, turned her head away, and left backstage, with her bandmates following her.
As the announcer handed each girl a medal, Troll Harmony felt so proud of all the hard work that paid off beautifully for their amazing performance. And being able to achieve this together, just made the victory all the more sweeter.
"Ay'm so proud of us, y'all," Holly happily commented.
"I'm proud of all of us, all of you, girls. You all were amazing," Aggie added.
"We were great! Together" Melody added happily.
The girls all fist-bumped together, hugging one another in victory, before facing the crowd with the Normal Troll leaders beside them, and bowing at the cheering audience.
