Chapter 3 A Spider's Day in U.A
-February 26th U.A Exam building.-
The Press was surrounding Spider man as he was making his way to U.A entrance. He was wearing his Spider man suit. "Spider man can I ask why you are going to U.A building are you going to teach?"One of the news reporter asked "Nope I'm going to be a student no excuse me, I can't be late."Peter said as he flipped over the news crew and walked into the building calmly.
First they was checked to make sure his mask didn't allow him to cheat like have a camera, or any hearing devices, once he was given the ok by Power Loader and Nezu the school's principal he was let into one of the Exam rooms he quickly filled out the test, flipped the test paper over and took a nap.
-Auditorium.-
Peter took a seat all the way at the back. "WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO MY LIVE SHOW! EVERYBODY SAY HEEEEY!"Present Mic said very very loudly….no one said a word or coughed. "I'VE GOT SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE, TOO, LISTENERS! ALRIGHT EXAMINEES…I'M GONNA GIVE YOU THE LOW-DOWN ON HOW THIS WILL GO DOWN! ARE YOU READY!?"Present Mic asked
Peter zoned out on Present Mic only looking at the screen as the important info was displayed and he covered his ears to help deafen the loud yelling of present Mic he did feal sorry for the kids at the front vow they had it worse.
Spider man noticed that he was grouped in City E so he made his way and once Present Mic finished his yelling and stuff. He did some warm ups once they were disembarked from the bus that took them to their assigned city and they were all waiting for the start command. Expect for Peter he started to head into the city at full speed, he had done a bot of hacking and found out how Present mic likes to begin the practical part of the exam.
"GO, GO, GO WHAT ARE YOU KIDS WAITING FOR THERE'S NO COUNT DOWN IN REAL LIFE VILLAIN FACE OFF LOOK AT SPIDER MAN HE ALREADY REACHING HIS FIRST POINT!"Present Mic yelled that made everyone else start to run as well. Peter was not slowing down or taking it easy for everyone else in his city he was destroying every single robot in his path he not care how big or small they were it moved it got destroyed.
He jumped over a 1P robot attached a webline to its back and swung it around smashing other robots that dared to get near him and continued to seek more robot all while swinging and using his spider sense to locate any robot threats that targeted at him.
-Meanwhile a viewing room.-
"Kinda unfair for the rest, Spider man has experience fighting pro heroes and villains."Nezu said as he sipped some tea. "still look at him move he is destroying robots before they even hurt him and there's no way he could have seen them…wait is that man hole cover!?"Power Loader asked as spider started to destroy robots by swinging a man hole cover really hard and it sliced threw the robots cleanly. "and don't even get me started on his hero points he may not pay attention or see his fellow student but look he keeps saving them from falling debris or a robot that will catch them by surpise."Cementos said as he view Parker's performance.
Peter was destroying so many bots left and right he almost forgot the giant one that counted as zero points, he was going to leave it alone, but some of the test takers had climbed into a building looking for robot to smash so he started to jam web shot after web shot into the Giant robot's gears to slow it's movement and it was working, but to make sure it woulsn't move or hurt anyone anymore, he scaled up the robot and started to rip of the metal with his sticky powers, he could stick to any surface and not many things could move him, he stick to things and rip them off due to his super strength.
He ripped and tore of metal plating and used said metal to whack and slash at the robot until it couldn't move anymore. "There that should be enough, I don't belong here."Peter said to himself as he started to walk away. "now to get ready for stupid normal school days ughhh."Peter said as he walked away from the battle grounds and was heading home.
-7:35 pm.-
"So where have you been peter?"Tiger asked as peter walked into the house. "I was out enjoying a nice victory, I do deserves to celebrate my success at getting into U.A."Peter said as he had a can of orange soda in his hand he opened it and began to drink.
"Peter we were worried, we thought something bad had happened to you, why didn't you message us?" Kaiyo asked calmly. "I did I messaged Kota, you guys just probably didn't listen to him."Peter said as he kept drinking his soda. "You got into U.A awesome how was the test?"Kota asked. "oh I can show you, T.V play today's recording of my awesome robot fighting test."Peter said Karen turned on the T.V and started to play Peter's slaughter of robots on the screen.
"…Peter you can't use your quirk to steal recording!"Tiger exclaimed. "I didn't use my quirk or steal, my quirk gives all the powers and skills of a spider, I just did a hacking before the test and used some of the cameras to record my fight."Peter said as he smiled Kota was having fun watching him kick robot butt.
"Listen you can say this and that, but remember I let you guys adopt me, I'm stronger and smarter than most heroes and I am flipping 14! I'm only here because all charges will be dropped once I become an official hero, I am going to a school I hate with people I hate because their views are more important than the lives I could be saving, I am a vigilante, where was I after school, I was helping people, saved a guy from being mugged and hurt in back alley, helped a little girl not get run over by a truck which a hero didn't even notice because he was too busy talking to his fans, I helped an old lady by catching and AC that fell out of an apt. which could have killed her and left her grandson crying on the street, I am not perfect, I am responsible."Peter said as he looked at them.
Kota didn't hear the conversation as he was asking the T.V to show him other Examinees. "P-peter you can-" Mizu said a bit gently. "I can't save people but I don't have a damn piece of plastic that says I'm hero, want to turn back time and tell that to me when your fighting Muscular and have no back up?"Peter asked the room got quite only the sounds of the T.V and Kota cheering for the other Examinees could be heard.
"Listen to me, if I have the power to do something, but I don't take action and those people I could had helped end up dying because I did nothing guess what, those deaths are on me want to know why?"Peter asked as he looked at Tiger. "W-why peter?"Pixie asked "Because with great power come great responsibility, so Don't worry what I do after school, I won't leave calling cards, I'll stay out of the spot light but I am and will continue to save people because if I don't, am I really a hero just some fool with a nice title earning money for small acts of 'heroism' and being praised for my small actions being sold as product just to be rich and live a comfortable life…no because I don't need all of that, even if I was power and didn't complete my suit of iron, I'd still be out there saving lives…..now if you excuse I have to go and work on making more Web fluid, I'm running a bit low and I have no idea what tomorrow has in store for us."Peter said he did a bow and turned away and headed upstairs.
-Peter in his room.-
Peter was silently crying he hated making others feel hurt, but he also had to let them he wouldn't be pushed around easily, but it was eating away at his insides. "Karen what am I going to do, these people are nice, but this world has so many strict rules, I miss where the police just shot at me and told me to leave their jobs to them."Peter said as he sighed.
-Hmm I suggest spending some time with them after school see what they do etc and try to bond with them.-Karen said "I'll try but first I need some sleep school starts soon and I want to work on the Hulk buster, Good night Karen see ya when I wake."Peter said.
-1 week later-
Peter was sitting in back of the class but somehow the of class kept looking at him. "he was wearing U.A uniform but he had his Spider custom underneath, he had made a deal that spider man was going to school not peter parker and well here he was. So far the only people he saw as some sort of challenge were Bakugou the loud blond and Todoroki the quite kid with half ice and half fire powers, but his records showed he only liked to use his ice side of his powers for attacking, defending etc, he only used his flames to deforst himself when he used too much of his ice powers.
Denki was no problem he was no wear near Electro power output of electricity, and if he did get near said power output his brain fries it self and makes him dumb, he figured out everyone quirk and skills by reading their records, thanks to Karen getting them for him.
"Hey you two someone is outside it might be the teacher so shut up your bickering."Peter said to Lida and Bakugou. "make me you shitty Spid-"Bakugou said but a quick thwip from peter's web shooters shut Bakugou up as his mouth was covered by webbing. "I can do that over and over again just as quickly, I have the dissolvement, so stop being loud I just met you and my ears are already ringing."Peter said as he tossed a small vile at Bakugou who grabbed it and poured it on the webbing.
When the door opened it was not a teacher it was…the kid with green hair, Midoriya. Peter went back to looking up at the ceiling. In boredom. "You're so manly! The names Kirishima, I hope we can become the best of bros."Kirishima said as he gave Peter a thumbs up. "…same to you, the name's Spider."Peter said as he nodded at Kirishima.
The door opened for the third time and this time a…sleeping bag was on the floor. Midoriya and the girl with space power….Uraraka. "If you're gonna be hunting for buddies than…(notices spider-man) than do it after class, this is the Department of heroics."Aizawa said as he got out of his sleeping bag and stood up. "Hmm it took you lot 7 seconds to quite down, life is short kids. You're lacking in common sense."Aizawa said "yeah because coming to class in a sleeping bag is common sense."Spider man said as he pointed out the sleeping bag.
Aizawa and Spider-man glared at each other before Aizawa continued to speak. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta. Pleasure in meeting you all, anyways wear these immediately and then meet me at the P.E grounds."Aizawa said as he left the class room.
Peter took the school uniform off and placed on his P.E. clothes and went to the P.E grounds he was there first. "So what's it like teaching someone who is better than you?"Peter asks mockingly. "annoying there are things I want to say, but can't because I know what you are like."Aizawa says as he let out a sigh. "whatever, just remember don't spill my name and I'll play nice."Peter said he then pointed behind Aizawa and saw his classmate start to appear.
"Today we will be doing a Quirk Apprehension test."Aizawa said "wait a quirk apprehension test? What about the Ceremony!? And the guidance counselor meeting!?"Uraraka asked "If you want heroes, we don't have time for frilly niceties."Aizawa replied without batting an eye.
"You all understand the school's reputation for freedom on campus. Well, that freedom goes for us teachers as well."Aizawa said as he looked at his students. "so…those that mean I can skip this test and see the opening ceremony freedom and all?"Peter asks "No, now listen carefully…Softball pitch, standing long jump, 50 meter dash, endurance running, grip strength, sustained sideways jumping and seated toe touch. There are all activities you know from middle school, naturally. Physical test where barred from using your quirks, The country still hasn't gotten around to standardizing those sort of records or keeping track of average performance levels well, that's negligence on the part of MEXT."Aizawa said as he walked next to crate full of softballs.
"P…Spider-man how far could you pitch a soft ball in middle school?"Aizawa asked. "you know how far."Peter replied. "true well, this time don't hold back let loose and use your quirk to it's full power to throw this soft ball as far as possible."Aizawa said as he toosed the ball to Spider man. "just don't ask me to fetch the ball."Peter replied as he get into the circle where he had to stand to throw the ball from.
"Hey Aizawa this is what I call a 10 ton fast ball special!"Peter yelled as he threw the ball with all his strength without holding back a loud boom like a canon was heard as the ball sailed across the sky. Aizawa pulled up a tablet. "Not bad 1616.69 meters."Aizawa said as he showed the class the number. "Before anything else, one must know what they are capable of, this is a rational metric that will form the basis of your hero foundation."Aizawa said he touched his capture gear and he knew why he wasn't able to capture spider he was just to strong for him worst part it was natural not something he could turn off with his quirk.
"Awesome! This looks like fun, and who knew Spider man was so Manly look at his throw!"Kirishima exclaimed happily as he was in awe. "It looks like fun…you say? So you were planning to spend your three years here having a good ol'time? What happened to becoming heroes?"Aizawa asked as he gave Kirishima a serious glare. "All right then. In that case new rule: the student ranked last in total of points will be judged worthless and expelled on the spot."Aizawa said as he did a dark laugh. "and with our freedom as teacher we can expel students whenever we want!"Aizawa exclaimed happily.
"cool welcome to U.A high everyone…it's gonna suck."Peter said as he sighed. "ok first test 50 meter dash Spider-man and Lida first."Aizawa said "Yes sir!"Lida said firmly as he got into running position. "Ready…Go!"Aizawa said Lida took off in burst of Speed, but Spider man was able to quickly out run. "Spider-man 1.57 Lida 3.03 not bad you two."Aizawa said
"how are you so fast?"Lida asked Spider man as they watched the other start their runs. "I have the powers and skills of a spider, plus I work out on the regular, fun fact my top speed while running is 200 mph."Spider man said as he watched Bakugou. ~he looks pissed is he also here against his will? Still he has his power well under control to use his explosion to propel himself like that not bad at all.~Peter thinks
One the first trial was finished they were told to grab a grip test machine and use their quirk to try and show off their strength. Spider-man crushed his with one hand alone. "I broke my, I guess I don't know my strength all that well, not like I announced when I did a fast ball earlier."Peter says as he looked at the crushed device. For the standing long jump Spider just jumped five feet from where was standing, Aizawa knew how well he could jump after all he fought him head to head.
Spider man did a few side to side jumps but stopped at 20, he got perfect at seated toe touch and he started to do the endurance run, while everyone else was busy still clearing their trails he just ran around the track at about 80 mph just jogging Letting a bit loose, he didn't stop running even after Midoriya did an amazing throw. "…you been running for 20 minutes, are you getting tired?"Aizawa asked "nope not even winded, guess we are still here until I pass out or something."Peter said the rest of the class was slightly shocked at the fact Spider-man wasn't slowing down.
"Damn it you Spider Bastard hurry up and finish I need to go home and train!"Bakugou shouted. "come on it's just a bit of running, what…it's only been 30 minutes since I started."Spider man said "alright, I'll start giving out results while he keeps running."Aizawa said. Spider man ranked at 3rd place.
"oh yeah the getting expelled was all a lie, to get you all to do your best."Aizawa said "Liar~"Spider man said with a sing song voice as he ran pass. "anyways with that being said your curriculum sheets are back in home room on your desks, so give them a once over and then go home tomorrow starts your first real day at U.A…welcome to the hero course."Aizawa said. As spider man passed him again.
As everyone started to walk away Spider man ran pass them. "I'm not gonna keep running if no one stays behind later slowpokes!"Spider man said as he laughed.
-Wild Wild pussy cat Home. 6:34 pm.-
Peter was wearing the U.A uniform and was coming home after spending most of his after noon helping people in trouble. Saved a baby that almost had an AC dropped on it, saved an old lady from getting run over by a truck, saved a kid from drowning in a river, stopped by the beach to look at the sunset and helped a man by lifting his car so he could get his car keys, etc.
All in all it was a pretty normal day. "Hello Park, I mean Peter how was school?"Kota asks as he was at the Iron Spider armor. He was sure it had moved on it own and he wanted to catch the suit in the act. "Met some follow classmates there this blond with an explosion quirk and he is very aggressive, but look past all the screaming and his scary face he is actually a very hard working student."Peter said
"I knew he get into U.A besides you he was the one with the most villain points."Kota said Peter felt his Spider sense go off and then he heard a loud yelp from the kitchen. "I would say I am sorry but I have warned you many times Ms. Sousaki."Peter said as he headed to the kitchen he saw his dinner on the table. "My head stays protected from Telepath 24/7 all year long, I am not letting you or anyone in my head, besides that how was your day?"Peter asks as he sits down to eat some curry, which reminded him he had to start cooking on his own.
"I saw Mandalay help the wild wild pussycats by telling them where all the dangers were, they were able to put out a forest fire, helped a helicopter that was stuck in a landslide and helped replant some of the forest, then we went out for ice cream."Kota said "Cool, how are your mom and dad doing?"Peter asked "They are resting early they been trying to do as the doctor said and walk off the pain they even made it to the road, but than Tiger had to help them get back."Kota said a bit sadly.
After chewing the curry in his mouth, he looked at Kota and gave him a reassuring smile. "I was planning to work on my Hulk Buster suit, but I think I can program some recovery nanomachines might take me a few days and I'll have check up on your mom and dad to see how they are doing, but by the end of the month I should have everything ready."Peter said he put his spoon down as Kota tackled him into a hug.
"R-really? You promise?"Kota asked "Yes I promise, now go play."Peter said He watched as Kota ran off to the living room where his Iron Spider suit was stationed and started to play some of the U.A physical exam footage. "I know you are smart, but you don't have to lie to him."Sousaki said as she watched Peter eat. "I don't Lie, I tell half truths or some of the information I know, But I don't lie and when I make a promise I complete them."Peter said as he finished his food and then drank some tea, which also reminded him he needed to buy his juice he was getting sick of drinking tea.
"Karen bring up the data on the unused nanobots, information on human muscle fibers, bone recovery test and anything on home cooking."Peter said as he got up went to the sink and washed the dished he had used.
-Information found would you like it to be sent to your laptop or phone? Or would you like the information printed?-Karen asks "All three."Peter said as headed to his room. Sousaki looked at Peter as he left. "I just wish you also open up as well."Sousaki said lowly.
-Next day at U.A-
Peter was in his first period class reading on Muscle fiber repair, tear, and strain. To Present Mic it just looked like Peter was studying, and technically Peter was his Mask was recording every sound in the class. Even as the classes changed to the other required lesson, he stay engross in his note book.
He took his break during lunch eating and then looking at his arms as he thought about what he was going to be doing. First he was going to do some research on some mice once he buys them or finds them after school. "Hey Spider, I need some help with English."Bakugou said as he sat across from him. "Really? You were pretty good during first period."Peter said "Yeah good isn't great or perfect, I need to be better and I know for a fact you are better at English, I could barely understand half the medical terms on muscle fibers in English as you read your book."Bakugou said as he pointed at his note book.
"I knew someone was watching me, I thought it was Midoriya or the teachers."Peter said as he let out a groan. "Ok Fine, what's your phone number?"Peter asked. "it's (xxx)-xxx-xxxx, you better not put any cringe nickname if you make a group chat, if not I'll kill you."Bakugou said. "yeah yeah, anyways we got Heroic studies next, let's just Hope Aizawa will not pull another trick like yesterday."Peter said he as he finished his hamburger. Having his own money plus knowing when he was getting out of class he made sure to make his order 17 minutes before classes ended.
"Whatever that asshole throws at me I'll just over come it… and You won't first for forever either Spider, that said I respect you, because you don't flock to that damn weakling."Bakugou said as he was looking at Midoriya. "Weakling or not chill, The more you focus on him the less you focus on yourself."Peter said. "You wouldn't be saying that if you knew the lying snake he is, but whatever let's go."Bakugou said as he pointed at the clock.
If there is a few things me and him have in common we try to be time. I threw my trash away as he placed his tray and dishes amongst the other trays and dishes which was well placed inside of a cart. We walked back to class not saying word. Bakugou wasn't like everyone else he wasn't trying to make friends he just spoke his mind and people view badly because of that.
A few minutes pass and everyone else arrived in time before the second bell for aftertoon classes to begin rang. "IT'S MEEEE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"All Might bellowed as he entered the class room not like a normal person. "I can't believe it his silver age costume."Midoriya muttered as he out his note book and began to write something down quickly.
He stood in front of the class and reached into his pockets while posing. "Foundational Hero studies! For this class, we'll be building up your Hero foundation throughout various trails! You'll get lots of credit for it."All might said, but even his whisper was still heard as if he was talking at a normal room level sound.
"Let's jump right in with this!"All Might said as he showed the class the card he was getting from his pocket in bold letters on the card it spelled. BATTLE. "The trial of battle! And to go with the first trail we've prepared the gear we had you send in requests for to match your quirks!"All might said and lockers with numbers on them started to slowly come out of the left most front wall in the class.
"Our Battle gear!"Most of the class exclaimed happily. "Awesome, finally I can show you all how manly I can be."Kirishima said "Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone Gather at Ground B!"All Might instructed as he left the class first. I took off my U.A school uniform then and there since I was wearing my hero costume under it all the time, but I grabbed my book bag as I headed to ground B.
"Oh! Hello young Spider! how have you been so far? Also you may not leave school early I know you are hero almost like a pro, but you also have to learn to work with others."All Might said. "Hello All Might, I'm doing terrible, I could be out right now stopping crime! But I am not leaving this bookbag is a surprise just wait for the others to arrive."Peter said as he glared at All might, he was the reason he was here in the first place.
"Then wait no longer, for here come the future generations of heroes! And oh my! Their costume just look amazing!"All Might said as he pointed to the rest and I won't lie they did look cool… well most of them Mineta need's a costume change and bad. "Hey all might is the reason why Spider man doesn't have a locker because he already wears his costume?"Lida asked "No, it because My costume is self-made and I wouldn't trust U.A it everyone prepare to meet to new and improved Spider man."Peter said he tapped his book bag in pattern and his costume was covered in head to toe in metallic nanobots that formed his Iron Spider suit.
"But Since I am new and improved you may call me The Iron Spider."Peter said as the helmet fixed itself into place and his eyes glowed a cyan blue as he looked at them. "YOU MADE THAT!?"A few of his class mate asked.
"Yeah, I did and I am even making a bigger bulkier one, why well let's just say it's a surprise for who I am making it for."Peter said. "So cool, what can your suit do?"Midoriya asked as he had his notebook on him. "You'll have to find out during class."Peter said as he bonked Midoriya on the head. "Sensei! Regarding the performance ground we'll be using, is it the mock city from the entrance exam?"Lida asked as he had his hand raised.
"You'll see in fact, take two steps and you'll b there! This will be an indoor battle! Villain cleanup is usually seen out in the open, But statistically, the better part of it is an indoor job., Most acts of villainy are committed indoors."All Might said "He's not wrong drug deals, organ harvesting, illegal weapon deals, selling slaves, etc."Peter said "Spot on Spider-man, So for this test you'll be separated into villain and heroes groups for a two on two team battle!"All Might exclaimed.
Bakugou grin he was quick to pick up on what that meant, Peter sighed he was going to have to hold back a lot of his power, The rest of the class was slightly still confused. "What about the foundational training?"Tsu asked "This is the foundational training! Only this time there won't be mechs for you to destroy."All Might said
"So how do we determine who wins or who loses?"Momo asked. "Is it ok if we just blow them away?"Bakugou asked as he lowered his face to try and hide his grin. "if we are separating how will we der-"Lida said before his mouth was webbed. "Everyone shut up, All Might came here to give us this lesson meaning he already has a plan for most of your questions!"Peter shouted.
"Thank you young Spider, For this training, we'll have some villains guard a nuclear weapon they intend on deploying! The heroes must stop them and their nefarious scheme before it's too late! If the heroes capture the villains or reach the nuclear weapon before time runs out they win! If the villains manages to keep their weapon safe the whole time or capture the heroes they!"All might said as he show the class three lots boxes.
Peter grabbed one of the balls at random and he was paired up with… Bakugou! "What heck/What the hell!"They both shouted. "You better stay out of my way."Bakugou said. "and you better not fail, my grade is yours vice versa so shut up and come here, I plan on how to fight everyone here… including Deku."Peter said knowing that would catch, Bakugou interest. Bakugou let out murderous smile as he looked back at Spider-man. "P-Please tell me more."Bakugou said his intentions clearly seen by Peter. "Alright here's are some plans."Peter says as he and Bakugou walked away from everyone else.
