FOREWORD
For some time, it has been an ambition of mine to write a DC universe story pairing Harry with Poison Ivy, with Harley Quinn hopefully thrown in for good measures. My prior attempts with crossovers with Batman: Arkham Asylum went nowhere, and I became frustrated and despondent. And yet, I still wanted to do it.
But then, my salvation came from an unexpected quarter. And I soon realised that, instead of doing it as a crossover with the Arkhamverse games, I would be doing it with the animated series Harley Quinn. Its refreshing take not only on Harley herself, but Poison Ivy, endeared itself to me from the clips I saw online, and because I didn't have the right streaming services, I waited impatiently for the first season to come out in Australia on DVD, which it did earlier in November.
This, then, is the result. While not quite as overtly humorous as the series is, and the focus is more on a Harry/Ivy pairing (though the threeway WILL happen later in the fic), I'm pretty proud of the result so far. I intended this, along with the rest of my mass update, to be an early Christmas present, but I decided, sod it, you're getting it earlier.
Anyway, time for the disclaimers. Firstly, this is an M-rated work for various reasons. Sex, violence, dark themes, and the Joker's sense of humour. You have been warned.
Secondly, there will be a number of annotations, and I don't want to hear any bellyaching.
Thirdly, there will be spoilers for the Harry Potter books, and for Harley Quinn.
