A sword is an edged, bladed weapon intended for manual cutting or thrusting. Its blade, longer than a knife or dagger, is attached to a hilt and can be straight or curved. A thrusting sword tends to have a straighter blade with a pointed tip.

Mondstadt, one of the Seven nations in Teyvat, the land had a few areas but the main point of interest was the main city that was named after the nation itself. Anyone in Mondstadt could tell you much about the rich history the City had, though some of it was long forgotten in the past. Bards of all can be seen singing stories of the great town, but few remember the true history of the nation. Venti, a bard in an odd green outfit would be one of these many bards that sang the history, although he mostly sang of the honorable battles that the Knights of Favonius won, for a few coins from the Knights themselves of course. Now, you would often see the famous Knights of Favonius roaming the streets on patrols, running jobs, and of course being off the job.

Viox Hala, a short woman of 5 foot 2 and one the smaller end of body weight as she would be classified as petite, had long pink hair that barely brushed her small hips, pale skin and bright green eyes, wasn't a Knight in training, in fact she wasn't part of the Knights at all, her twin sister, Violet Hala, a woman of 5 foot 3 with a much curvier body type than her smaller twin, she would be classified as hourglass with more chest than hips, had long black and red hair with pale skin and bright blue eyes, was an Alpha member and was currently sitting at her kitchen table eating breakfast with Viox, as it was Violet's and Viox's day off from both of their respected jobs.

"I am assuming you are here on business?" Viox asked.

Violet nodded, "I want you to come with me to the Knights Ball this weekend." She explained.

Viox raised a brow, "What about Master Diluc?"

Violet rolled her eyes, " He is busy with the Tavern all Weekend, I'm sure you heard about that?" She replied.

Viox let out a small puff of air she had held in, of course she knew Diluc was working the Tavern this Weekend, something about the rest of Mondstadt needing to enjoy themselves as well had popped up in their talk during lunch a few afternoons ago.

Viox sighed, "Do I have to wear a dress?" She asked her sister, who naturally nodded.

"You must, it's a black and white formal tie and you have to wear heels and makeup." Violet stated with a raised brow.

Viox groaned loudly, "But I don't want to! Heels make my feet hurt! And I can't wear a dress! I'd look so weird and makeup?! You must be joking!"

Violet chuckled, "So much for not getting a fit. Viox, I need you there to support me, I am after all, winning a reward for gaining a new rank."

Viox slammed her head on the table, the glasses jumping a little as she groaned more, "But I don't even own a dress or heels. Plus!-" She said sitting up, "I could easily take up Diluc's shifts instead of him doing them, it would be odd that you are going with your sister and not your Courted!" She argued.

Violet rolled her eyes. "Viox, you are going, end of story. We'll get you a dress and heels for the event, you just have to pick something that will go with the theme. Black or White, your heels will be the same color." Her sister replied.

Viox raked a hand through her long pink hair, "A black gown, but I want low heels!" She said as she stood up from the table, gathering her breakfast dishes as she went to the sink. She carefully placed the glassware into the metal tub as she rinsed them off.

"Viox it's not going to be all that long, you just have to dress up for a bit and then after I get my reward, we can go to the Tavern and drink the night away. I bet Kaeya is going to be there." Violet said.

Viox paused, "Kaeya is going?" She asked as she turned towards her sister. Violet smirked as Viox swore a little, Violet knew Viox was weak against the Cavalry Captain. She had been slowly developing feelings for the man who quickly became her closest friend. The man had a habit of popping up around Viox and most often than not the Captain was normally hanging around the pink haired woman.

"So you change your mind?" Violet asked as she too stood up and gathered her dishes.

Viox frowned, "Yes, but if we can't find something I actually like. I'm not going." She pouted, crossing her arms.

Violet smiled, "We'll find something! Kaeya needs to be begging at your feet for a chance to dance!" She said happily.

Viox smiled a little at the thought.

"What about this dress, Viox?" Violet asked as she pulled down a simple black gown, it was floor length with off the shoulder sleeves that looked like a miniature shawl built into the dress. It had no pattern but looked skin tight.

Viox tilted her head a little, "Maybe? I'll try it on." She said, taking the dress from her twin as she headed towards the dressing rooms. It wasn't far from where Violet was still browsing as Viox's ears picked up the sounds of a man talking to someone. She turned as she saw a blond haired man talking with a small child who wore a bright red dress and hat. Her blonde hair was tied off into ponytails as she heard his voice.

"Klee, I know you love the color red, but we are Knights, so we must wear something black or white for this event. Look at me! I'm wearing this suit." He said in a very gentle voice.

Viox melted at the scene, but even she could see that the little girl was struggling. Viox smiled as she walked over, "Hey, you alright little one?" She asked, kneeling down the girl's eye level, tucking the dress into the bend of her legs and chest.

The girl looked at Viox with big bright red eyes that were filled with tears as she rubbed her face lightly, "I would like to wear a red dress, but big brother Albedo says that I can't." She explained to Viox, who smiled,

"Well how about a compromise? You can wear a red shawl with your dress?" She suggested as the girl's eyes lit up.

"Can I?" She asked her brother, who sighed softly.

"Alright, I see no problems with adding a little color since you're still young." He said

Viox stood up, her black dress in hand as she smiled towards the man and the little girl, "I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your shopping, I'm glad I could help out a little." She said as the little girl squealed.

"You have a dress! Can I see?" She asked as she touched the long gown.

Viox chuckled, "I see no harm in showing it, though I might go with a different dress." She said,

The girl shook her head, "I like this one for you! You should put it on!" She said,

Viox blinked, "I'll tell you what, you go pick your dress out and we can try on our dresses together, that way your brother doesn't have to be here long." She suggested lightly as the little girl gasped and ran off towards the white child sized gowns. Viox smiled slightly at the scene.

The man cleared his throat, "I apologize for you getting pulled into our shopping, Klee has a stubborn mindset and I can never understand why she likes red so much." He said.

Viox turned to look at him. He was taller than she was, but only by a few inches, he was dressed in a neat black suit with a red tie, black gloves covered his hands as his suit jacket was draped over his left arm, but Viox could tell it was one with coat-tails. His skin was pale as he had sea-green eyes that were a bit dull in color, as if he wasn't all there.

Viox smiled a little, "Kids are still understanding their emotions still, sometimes they don't understand what their elders know. Klee is your sister?" She asked as the man shook his head.

"We aren't real siblings, but I take care of Klee as if she is my sister. My name is Albedo, Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius, Klee is also a Knight, her title is The Crimson Knight." He introduced himself.

Viox blinked, "Oh, I am Viox Hala, Dawn Winery's Head of Affairs." She stuck her hand out as he shook it with his.

"I believe I've heard about you before, is Violet Hala from Alpha 5 your sister?" He asked

Viox withdrew her hand away from the other's carefully, "Ah yes, she's my twin sister." She said with a small chuckle as the man still had a blank look on his face, "We are twins I swear, we're just fraternal twins." She explained.

He nodded, "I didn't know twins could look differently, but it's always interesting to learn about something new." He replied.

Viox smiled a little more, as Klee came back with a white dress in her hands,

"I'm ready!" She said with excitement.

Viox held out her hand, "Let's go change so your brother can see your dress." She said as she took the younger one towards the changing rooms.
