The Scottish name "claymore" (Scottish Gaelic: claidheamh mór, lit. "large/great sword") can refer to either the longsword with a distinctive two-handed grip, or the basket-hilted sword. The two handed claymore is an early Scottish version of a greatsword.
Albedo was never one to ignore the urge to draw something, in fact he often did sketch while traveling alone back to Dragonspine while Klee was off doing missions with Jean and Lisa. Today was different though. He had taken Klee dress shopping as she had asked him to do so because she didn't have a dress for the event coming up for the Knights. So off they went to a popular dress shop in Mondstadt, he as well picked up his suit that he had tailored a few weeks ago, so he was due for a fitting to make sure the suit fit him correctly. What wasn't in the plan was meeting Miss Viox Hala.
Albedo didn't understand the emotional surprise until that moment when the pink haired woman kneeled down to talk with Klee. He didn't understand how to process the feeling as she spoke so kindly to the younger. Then he took in the woman's full form. She was shorter than he was, her long pink hair was wavy as it brushed over her shoulders and skimmed her waist. Her bright green eyes sparkled in a way that struck a small cord within Albedo as he wanted to draw the person in front of him, her smile was oddly something that burned within his mind as if he had blood in his chalk made body, he would have flushed when she smiled at him. He blinked, emotions were odd, which is why he preferred to be by himself. Klee was mainly the only reason he came from the large mountain top. He carefully took a seat by the dressing rooms as he heard giggles from both Klee and the woman that was helping out. He was grateful the woman had stepped in and helped him out, she seemed to know a bit more on the subject of kids than he did. "Big brother! Are you ready to see?" Klee called out as Albedo's face twitched a small smile as he replied, "Of course Klee." He waited as the curtains moved, revealing Klee in a knee length white dress with a small red shawl over her shoulders, small white shoes covering her feet as Klee twirled slowly in a circle.
"Ta-da!" She said.
Albedo nodded, "It looks very good on you."
Klee tugged his hand, "Miss Viox looks so pretty! Miss Viox are you done?" Klee called out.
Miss Viox gave a weak chuckle through the curtains, "I'm not sure if this looks good on me."
Klee stomped her foot, "Miss Viox!" She said as she walked back into the dressing room.
Albedo waited as Klee pulled Miss Viox's hand as they walked out of the room. Albedo took in the woman, his eyes took in the dress she wore. A floor length gown that hugged her upper body tightly as it flared out at the mid thighs. Albedo took note that she had thrown her long hair up in a lazy updo. He could see some scarring tissue breach the woman's pale shoulders as it looked like ridged dark pink vines that seemed to stand out on her. Some parts that weren't ridged, were a simple silvery pale to show some scarring still. He was mildly interested in seeing the rest of the scar-mast, if the other would allow it, one day although.
Overall, she looked rather well in the dress. He looked towards Klee, who was looking up at Miss Viox with bright eyes. Perhaps he should be responding in the same way? He was unsure on how to react in this situation due to he had rarely been around a woman. Jean, Lisa, and Sucrose hardly counted as women in his eyes. He guessed it was supposed to be a different reaction due to the comments of how Miss Viox looked like a Fairytale princess in the gown.
Albedo stood up carefully as he cleared his throat lightly to gather Klee's attention, "We have to get going soon, Klee. We still have to get you shoes and check on mine." He said
Klee pouted in a way, "But big brother Albedo, you haven't complimented Miss Viox's dress!" She said with a small foot stomp.
Miss Viox looked as if she was flushed with embarrassment. "Oh it's okay Klee, he doesn't have too. Like I said, I will most likely get another dress." She said as a way to quell the little one, who fully looked upset at that fact.
Albedo blinked, "Why would you be getting another dress?" He asked, watching Miss Viox look towards him. Albedo always knew what the emotion, intrigued, was. He most often was in the emotion while sketching or working on his alchemy, but seeing Miss Viox's bright green eyes lock with his. He was intrigued to sketch the other. She seemed full of life in a way that was different from Klee's normal energy.
"Oh it's a little out of my range of comfortability is all." Miss Viox said in a soft tone.
Albedo almost had to lean in to hear the whisper of reply from the pink haired woman. His eyes drifted over her form, "I think it's fitting." He commented. He watched a pink blush rush over the other's face, he didn't understand fully why the blood was rushing to their cheeks. Perhaps they were cold, the dress shop was chilly in a way, he couldn't tell due to the fact that he was wearing a long sleeved button up. That and he didn't mind colder weather due to his extremely high cold tolerance. His eyes swept over the woman once more and gave a nod, "You should get it." He said bluntly as the pink haired woman swallowed a little. Albedo noticed she looked nervous over-all, at least that was the emotion he was assuming she was feeling.
"I'll think about it." Miss Viox said after a moment as she stepped back a little. Klee tugged on her hand lightly as the other bent down to focus on the smaller.
Albedo was rather confused, at least as far as he could tell. Miss Viox seemed to be a natural carer, as he watched her interact with Klee as if she had known Klee all her life. He wanted to learn a little more, as Miss Viox had captured his interest. Perhaps all these conflicting thoughts is what his Master had explained before to him when he was first learning about the world and human emotions. She had been a rather strict woman about having the natural instincts to learn. Albedo didn't know much about the emotional part of human survival, in fact he had no idea what emotions were in general, just mere guessing on what they were.
He watched as Miss Viox talked with Klee before standing up.
"I have to get going, but I am assuming you both will be at the event later this week?" She asked.
Albedo nodded, "Yes as Knights with higher titles, we must be there for the rewards and such. Being given a title is a big deal for Knights. Violet is earning a new one I believe?" He said, his blue-green eyes blinked as he looked over Miss Viox's form. She still seemed nervous.
"She is. Though I can't fully recall the new title. It was nice meeting both of you though. I hope you two stay in good health. Till we meet again this week." Miss Viox grinned a little as she headed over towards the other dresses where another woman was waiting.
Albedo at this point could see most of the woman's back. Third degree burn scars. They covered her back in webbed-like patterns, some in different shapes and sizes. Some bubbled and others seemed to be carved into her skin as if she was born with them. These were caused by fire and oil. He knew due to his travels with his Master. She was quick to teach Albedo the different scar marks, how they are caused, how the skin lives now that it has been deformed from its natural beginning.
Albedo studied the interaction as he saw Miss Viox spin in a small circle for the other woman, as they both talked, pointing at a few things about the dress. His hand was tugged on by Klee lightly. He turned and looked at the younger, she seemed upset from the frown on her face.
"Will we get to play with Miss Viox again soon? Even after the party?" She asked in a very somber voice.
Albedo knelt down and nodded, "We can ask after the party and see. For now, we need to finish up getting what we need. We'll see Miss Viox later. Alright?" He tried to sooth Klee's worries. It seemed to work as she smiled up at his emotionless face. In her own Klee fashion, she thanked him with a small kiss on the cheek. Something that Albedo had learned from the younger, it was a form of gratitude. He patted her head lightly although he didn't understand how to smile like Klee could, he knew that she understood he cared for her.
His ears picked up the sounds of laughter as he turned his head back towards Miss Viox. She was grinning so brightly as she seemed to be teasing the other. She looked carefree, and in that moment Albedo felt something in his chest pulse oddly as the urge to draw Miss Viox clouded his mind for a moment. He had never been one to hold back the urge to draw.
