Chapter 20 Izzy's Surgery Part 2
Jake's POV
After they got Izzy in to a bed, they rolled her into room 289 as they parked the bed onto the wall the doctors and nurses left.
"So how was your exam?" I asked her.
"Jake, I do not want to talk about that." Izzy said to me.
"Was it that bad Izzy?" u asked her.
"Oh, it was horrible!" Izzy said to me.
"Izzy, I can see your butt." Cubby said to her.
"Jake, can you tell Cubby to stop?" Izzy asked me.
"Cubby, please stop." I said to him.
"Sure, thing Jake!" Cubby said to me.
"Thanks!" I said to him.
"So, anyway, Izzy, are you still scared about your surgery?" I asked her.
" Yeah, I am but I'll be fine, it's like you said Jake I'll be asleep during it and I won't feel anything." Izzy said to me.
As Izzy and I were talking, a doctor cake in.
"Hello, Ms. Green I well be doing your surgery today." the doctor said to her.
"Now, before we get you up to surgery, I'll just tell you what you are going to do in the process." The doctor said to her as he continued.
"So we are going to put this mask on you witch will be full of anesthesia, and it will wear off in about an hour or so once you recover from your surgery of course." the doctor said to her.
" Okay so when does my surgery start?" Izzy asked the doctor.
"Right now actually." The doctor said to her as he out the bed in drive mode.
Izzy's POV
As the doctor was about to wheel me into surgery, Jake and Cubby came over to say good luck.
"make sure she doesn't die." Cubby pointes out to the doctor.
"Will do son." The doctor said to him.
"Izzy, just remember be brave and think about us okay good luck." Jake said to me as we kiss each other on the lips for 3 seconds.
"Will see you, in the recovery room!" Jake and Cubby said to me as I went off to the operating room.
So as I was being wheeled across the hallways, I was getting nervous. I didn't want to do this, I wanted to go back and see Jake. But I know in my heart, that I need to be a brave girlfriend for Jake.
"Just remember Izzy, be brave." Jake's voice echoed in my ear as I smiled and I said to myself that I will be brave for you Jake I love you." I said to myself as we finally got to the operating room.
"As the doctor parked my bed next to the operating table, I got on it, and I lied down flat on my back.
"Okay, Izzy, we're going to start." The doctor said to me as he placed the masks on my face.
" I want you to count down from 10, to 1." The doctor said to me.
"10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3... Knocked out."
Cubby's POV
As Jake and I were waiting in the waiting room, saw Jake pacing back and forth like he did last year.
"Jake, your pacing back and forth again." I said to him.
"Well, I can't help it." Jake said to me.
" Maybe we need to get your mind off of Izzy, for a little." I suggested to him.
"Never, I'm never going to get my mind off of her." Jake said to me.
" Jake loves Izzy.. Wait I already knew that." I said to myself.
"It's okay Cubby, I know you're worried about her too." Jake said to me.
" What? No, I'm not worried about her I'm just hoping that she doesn't die." I said to him.
" You're worried about her." Jake said to me.
" Okay, okay, I am worried about her Jake, she's my big sister." I said to him.
" Who I'm dating." Jake said to me.
"Jake, what is the matter with you?" I asked him.
"What, all I'm saying is that I hope she's going to be okay." Jake said to me.
" Jake she's going to be just fine. She just literally got into the operating room." I said to him.
"Yeah I know, Cubby." Jake said to me.
"Well while you think about Izzy, I'm going to take a little Cubby nap." I said to him.
"Knock yourself out." Jake said to me as I fell asleep.
Jake's POV
While Cubby was taking a nap, I couldn't stop think about my Izzy.
"Izzy, I hope your surgery goes well, Cubby, and I miss you already." I said to myself.
As Cubby with still taking a nap, I decided to go on Kevin's chili and get something for us to eat while we are waiting for izzy to come out of surgery.
"Good day sir, what's on the menu today?" I asked the chef.
"Well, we have Mac and cheese, and that's basically it for now." The chef said to me.
"Then, I'll take two Mac and to go please!" I said to the chef as he placed two Mac and cheese in a carton I gave him the money to pay for it, and went back to the waiting room where Cubby was probably still sleeping.
But as I got back, Cubby wasn't sleeping anymore he was actually watching Tom and Jerry on TV.
"Oh, boy, mac and cheese!" Cubby said with excitement as I handed him his carton of mac and cheese.
"Wow, thanks, Jake!" Cubby said to me.
"Anytime little bro!" I said to him as we were watching Tom and Jerry while eating mac and cheese.
"So, do you think Izzy's going to make it Jake?" Cubby asked me.
" Don't worry, she's going to make it." I said to him.
"I hope so because I can barely imagine my life without her." Cubby said to me.
"Yeah me too, little bro, me too." I said to him.
"So, how are you and Stormy doing by the way?" I asked him.
" /We're doing okay, I guess." Cubby said to me.
"I guess? What's wrong you don't like her?" I asked him.
" No, it's not that Jake, I love her and all but.." Cubby said to me as he stopped in his tracks.
"But what?" I asked him.
"I don't know, I'm thinking about moving in with her." Cubby said to me which actually surprised me.
" Let me guess you guys found a house when it was raining." I said to him.
"How did you know?" Cubby asked me.
"I'm Jake I know everything." I said to him.
"Cubby, if you want to move in with her go ahead." I said to him.
" But I Aren't I a little too young to move in with Stormy?" Cubby asked me.
"Yes, yes you are, but age doesn't matter you love her don't you." I said to him.
" I do, I really really do." Cubby said to me.
" Then go for it make a move." I said to him.
" Will you and Izzy be okay?" Cubby asked me.
" mI'll be okay and I'm sure Izzy is going to be delighted, and happy for you buddy." I said to him.
"Thanks Jake you're the best big brother ever, i love you man." Cubby said to me.
"I love you too little bro." I said to him as we shared a hug together.
"Hey, Jake, are you going to miss me?" Cubby asked me.
"Cubby, why would you ask me that? You know, I'm going to miss you." I said to him.
" I mean yes I'm going to miss you terribly, but you have Stormy to take care of just like Izzy needs to be taken care of. Cubby were both taken care about girlfriend isn't that enough?" I asked him.
" Yeah you're right I mean it's not like I'm going to propose to her yet." Cubby said to me.
" Don't worry, you have a long way to go until that day." I said to him.
" Good, because I want to stay a kid for as long as I can stay a kid. And nothing, and I mean nothing is going to change that." Cubby said to me.
"Amen brother!" I said to him.
"Don't worry you're going to come and visit us right?" I asked him.
" Of course I will Jake even through the holidays, and your birthdays, I'm going to visit your dad's no matter what. And I can still visit you guys when you're dancing together." Cubby said to me.
" Of course you can buddy. You're my little brother Cubby I'll never say no to that." I said to him.
"Great, great!" Cubby said to me.
As Cubby and I were still watching Tom and Jerry on TV, I started to look down.
"Jake, are you alright?" Cubby asked me.
"No, I'm worried about Izzy Cubby." I said to him.
"Hey, she's going to be fine she's a fighter." Cubby said to me.
" I know but after everything that happened, I'm scared that she might that she might die." I said to him.
" Jake, she's not going to die, now. You mentioned that word." Cubby said to me.
" Why are you crying?" I asked him.
" I'm scared what if she dies to I don't want to lose my big sister." Cubby said to me."
"I don't want to lose my girlfriend, my future fiance and my future wife." I said to him.
"But we got to be strong Cubby, for Izzy!" I said to him.
"Yeah, we do!" Cubby said to me.
As the doctor came into the waiting room, both Cubby and I stood up to face him.
"Jake and Cubby!" The doctor Seltzer us as we faced him.
"We're Jake and Cubby." I said to the doctor.
"Izzy's surgery has been a complete success!" The doctor said to us.
" May we go see her?" Cubby asked the doctor.
" Of course you can, follow me." The doctor said to us after he followed him to the receptionist desk.
"Excuse me Miss these two lovely gentleman would like to see Isabella Rose green." The doctoe said to the receptionist.
"Yes of course doctor come on in!" The receptionist said as she opened the door, as we all went inside to see Izzy.
Once we arrived at the recovery room, I immediately spotted Izzy.
So I immediately ran up to her and hugged her, and kissed her, multiple times.
"Jake I think she had enough kissing and hugging from you!" Cubby said to me.
"Says the guy who's moving in with Stormy." I said to him, as Cubby blushed.
"Okay, fine, you can continue hugging her." Cubby said to me as I literally proceed on hugging her like crazy.
As I continuey to hug Izzy for another 5 minutes, she started to wake up.
"What what happened?" Izzy asked us.
"You had your tonsils and adenoids takin out." I said to her.
"My throat hurts." Izzy said to me.
"It's going to hurt, for a couple days." I said to her.
"who's that kid?" Izzy asking me pointing to Cubby.
"That's Cubby!" I said to her as cubby waived.
After I explained what happened, I took on my phone went to camera, switch it to record, and pressed play.
"The wheels on the bus, go round, and round." Izzy said as she was singing wheels on the bus.
"That is so cute." I said to myself as I kept recording.
"Izzy where's my underwear?" Izzy asked herself.
"I don't know." Izzy said to herself.
"Yo, Cubby this is comedy gold I might post it on YouTube." I said to him.
" You should do that!" Cubby said to me.
" Okay I will, after we show this to our friends back at the dance studio." I said to him.
"They are going to laugh at this." Cubby said to me.
"I know!" I said to him.
"I'm tired I'm going back to beddy-bye." Izzy said to us as she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
As I continued to record it was actually adorable to see Izzy sleeping.
"You hear that Izzy you are so adorable when you're sleeping." I said to her as she was sleeping.
" Hey Jake should I announce the thing to Stormy?" Cubby asked me.
" Yes, you should, actually you know what you should do, you should actually announce it during lunch time after I show this funny video." I said to him.
" Alright, thanks for the option!" Cubby said to me.
"Anytime and you do realize that this is being recorded to? I asked to him.
"yes I do realize. But I don't care, it's actually kind of a good reminder." Cubby said to me.
" Now that you mentioned it, it is kind of like a reminder." I said to him.
"That way if I forget, the video well remind me." Cubby said to me.
"Jake, I've been thinking I'm not going to move in with Stormy right away." Cubby said to me.
"Wait what why?" I asked him as I stopped recording.
" Well to be honest I don't want to move in right away with her not now because I would be lost without you guys." Cubby said to me.
" Aww, so you decided to stay with us for a little longer?" I asked him.
"Yes Jake, just until I'm an adult." Cubby said to me.
"Well that's wonderful, Cubby." I said to him as I gave him a big hug.
"I know!" Cubby said to me.
"But are you still going to tell her?" I asked him.
"Of course Jake, and I have a perfect way to tell her." Cubby said to me.
" Really, how?" I asked him.
" well I was wondering if you could help me on this one a project." Cubby said to me.
" Sure, that depends on what the project is." I said to him.
" I'm going to do it like I'm pretending to propose to her but instead of that it's going to be a promise ring." Cubby said to me.
" Aww, that is so sweet and cute but sweet." I said to him.
"Cubby, she's going to love the promise ring." I said to him.
"I know." Cubby said to me.
"by the way don't forget your guitar for that." Cubby said to me.
"Cubby, why would I forget my guitar? And why do I need it?" I asked him.
"I want this to be perfect, and plus I want you to strum a nice beautiful song while I'm doing the speech duh." Cubby said to me.
" That would make sense." I said to him.
"Of course when they sense Jake, you're my brother if I didn't ask you to do this for me, who would I ask Cupid?" Cubby asked me.
"Well if you're referring to me wearing a diaper, then no." I said to him.
"Now if I asked you to wear a diaper would you do it?" Cubby asked me.
" That depends, do I get to wear wings?" I asked him.
"Maybe!" Cubby said to me.
"Then yeah, I would do it. besides, I think Izzy would say that I'm cute wearing a diaper." I said to him.
" She thinks you're cute everyday!" Cubby said to me.
" Yeah but not when I'm going to wear a diaper if you want me to." I said to him.
"Jake, I was kidding about the diaper thing." Cubby said to me.
"Whatever, you say." I said to him.
"Jake, you're not actually going to wear a diaper during my thing right?" Cubby asked me as I just stayed silent.
"Oh my God!" Cubby said to me.
"I don't know who you are anymore." Cubby said to me.
"Cubby, calm down, I'm not actually going to do it." I said to him.
"Oh, thank God!" Cubby said to me.
As Cubby, and I were done talking, Izzy woke up witch means, I get to record again YAY.
"Oh no where's my finger?" Izzy asked me.
"Your fingers are right where you left it Izzy." I said to her.
" Oh yeah, yay my fingers are back, I missed them." Izzy said to me.
"Good!" I said to her.
" Oh no Jake, I think my leg is broken." Izzy said to me.
"Izzy, your leg isn't broken, it was fixed last year." I said to her.
"Cool!" Izzy said to me.
"Jake, I have something to tell you and it's actually the truth." Izzy said to me.
"Okay, what is it?" I asked her.
" When I wake up in the morning, I watch CBeebies." Izzy said to me.
" Hahaha, what?" I asked her.
" I said I watch CBeebies in the morning." Izzy said to me.
" Why do you watch that show in the morning anyway?" Cubby asked her.
" Because it's cute, and adorable, and an awesome Channel to watch." Izzy said to him.
" I thought you hate watching baby shows." I said to her.
"Hahaha hahaha funny Jake, you're so funny, and cute and sweet nice, adorable, and an awesome boyfriend." Izzy said to me as I blushed.
" Hey hey everyone this is my boyfriend he's so hot!" Izzy, said to the whole entire hospital.
"Okay I don't know if she's drunk or the anesthesia." Cubby said to himself.
"It's the anesthesia, Cubby." I said to him.
"Jake, when is the anesthesia going to wear off on her?" Cubby asked me.
"Cubby, I don't know." I said to him.
"the wheels on the bus go round and round." Izzy said as she was singing The wheels on The bus song again.
"That song is going to be haunting me." Cubby said to me.
"Oh come on Cubby, you used to love that song." I said to him.
"Jake, I don't remember that." Cubby said to me.
"Really, because I remember, Peter Pan singing that to you when you were a little baby.* I said to him.
"I still don't remember that." Cubby said to me.
"Well, I tried." I said to myself.
"Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination, and when he's tall, he's what we call a dinosaur sensation." Izzy said as she was now singing Barney.
"okay Izzy, why are you singing Barney?" Cubby asked her.
"I don't know, that theme song makes me want to dance." Izzy said to him.
"There will be no dancing right now, because you need to rest." I said to her.
"I don't want to rest, I want to sing. Izzy said to me ask you begin to sing again.
" Old MacDonald had a farm, EIEIO." Izzy said as she was now as singing old MacDonald.
"Jake remind me when we get back home to literally hit myself with a mirror." Cubby said to me.
" You will to do no such thing." I said to him.
"Oh man." Cubby said to me.
"Why do you want to hit yourself in the mirror?" I asked him.
"So I can lose my memory of this." Cubby said to me.
" Okay I don't see how that's possible, but you're not doing that." I said to him.
"Boo, you're no fun." Cubby said to me.
" That's it, go sit on that chair." I said to him.
"But Jake." Cubby said to me.
"Go, sit on that chair young man." I said to him as he went to sit on the chair.
"So what, now I'm grounded?" Cubby asked me.
"No, you're just punished, now face the wall." I said to him.
"Why is Cubby punished?" Izzy asked me.
"I'll tell you later. You just get some sleep." I said to her.
"I am feeling, tired." Izzy said to me.
"Jake, can you sleep with me? I'm lonely." Izzy asked me.
"Sure." I said to her as I just sat on the chair, and rested my head on her hand.
"the itsy bitsy spider went up the waterspout." Izzy said as she was singing the itsy bitsy spider.
"Well, it's a good thing I'm recording it still." I said to myself.
As Izzy was continually, singing some baby songs I covered my ears.
"I'm having a headache." I said to myself.
As I went to the nurse, I asked for Tylenol.
"Excuse me nurse do you have any Tylenol?" I asked her.
"As a matter of fact, I do." The nurse sent to me I should give you two tablets of Tylenol.
"Do you want some water to take that down?" The nurse asked me.
"Yes please." I sent to the nurse and she gave me a bottle of water.
" Thank you, so much." I said to the nurse.
"It's my pleasure Jake, if you need anything else don't hesitate to ask me okay." The nurse said to me.
"Thanks!" I said to the nurse as I went back to Izzy.
Once I was back to where Izzy was now sleeping, I walked over to Cubby who was actually sleeping as well. so I picked him up and carried him to the other chair and sat down as I held him in my arms she he was sleeping.
"Izzy, please get better." I whispered to her.
As I said that, Cubby woke up.
"Jake, what what time is it?" Cubby asked me sleepy.
"I would say, night time." I said to him"
" Okay, I'm going back to sleep." Cubby said to me as he went back to sleep.
That's when the nurse came in.
"Hi Jake, I'm going to take Izzy back to her room, if you want you can put your friend on her bed." The nurse suggested to me as I placed cubby onto Izzy's hospital bed.
So as the nurse and I went back into Izzy's room, separk the bed right on the wall.
"Thank you." I said you the nurse.
"You welcome Jake, do you need anything?" The nurse asked me.
"Actually, is there a way I can get some blankets?" I asked her.
" Of course, I'll bring it right to the room." The nurse said to me after you went to go get blankets.
As the nurse came back, she gave me the blankets.
"Thank you very much." I said to the nurse.
"You're welcome Jake, have a good night." The nurse said to me.
"Thank you got home safe!" I said to the nurse.
"Thank you, and I will." The nurse said to me as she left the room.
After the nurse left, I unfolded one of the blankets and cover up my two best friends.
"Good night guys!" I whisper to them as I gave each of them kisses one on Cubby's cheek, and the other kiss on Izzy's lips.
After I kissed my two friends good night, I walked over to the couch, and decided to read some magazines.
Once I was done reading the magazines, I felt tired. So I walked over to the light switch turned it off and went back to the couch and fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up as I looked over to my right, Izzy and Cubby we're both still sleeping.
As I went over to the chair, I sat down on it took up my phone, and snapped a picture of them sleeping.
"Aww, memories." I said to myself as I posted it on Instagram.
As I got bored already, I started to play a game on my phone. And that game was, Uno.
I was actually playing against Austin Moon and let me tell you something he is good.
As I was still playing against Austin, I head Izzy's phone vibrate. So took her phone, to see who was texting her. And apparently, it was Lisa Simpson.
"Hey, Lisa, it's Jake by the way what's up?" I asked her.
"How did Izzy's surgery go?" Lisa texted me.
"Oh, it went okay, thanks for asking." I texted her.
" Cool, tell Izzy that we kiss her, and we hope to see her soon." Lisa texted me.
" Well, do. Actually, she is getting discharged today, so you can visit her when we get home." I texted her.
" Cool, thanks Jake! Text you later, bye." Lisa texted me.
"Bye!" I texted her as I putted Izzy's phone away.
After I texted Lisa for Izzy, I decided to go to the cafeteria, to get something to drink.
Once I arrived at the cafeteria, I went to the vending machine. There were a lot of drinks to choose from so I decided to get water. So I placed my one Goodwill inside the smart and oressed the word water, as a water bottle came out.
After I got my water bottle, I went back to Izzy's room.
Once I arrived, Cubby was up.
"Morning Jake!" Cubby said to me as he was brushing his teeth.
"Cubby where to get the toothbrush?" I asked him.
"The gift shop, last night." Cubby said to me.
"Oh, okay." I said to him.
" I also got the promise ring." Cubby said to me.
" What? Really, what?" I asked him.
"Yeah, it's in that black box." Cubby said to me as I took a look at it.
"Oh my God, Cubby it's beautiful. Stormy is going to love it." I said to him.
"Yeah, she is going to love it." Cubby said to me.
"But I'm scared what her answer will be." Cubby said to me.
"Don't worry cubby if I was Stormy, I would say oh my God of course you can move in with me." I said to him.
" Really Jake you had to do Stormy's girly voice?" Cubby asked me.
" What, I had to." I said to him.
" Whatever. The important thing is that she's still going to love the ring, I give her." Cubby said to me.
"She sure is, Cubby" I said to him.
Izzy's POV
As I woke up, I still felt groggy.
"Morning, Jake and Cubby!" I said to them as they didn't hear me.
" Good morning, boys!" I said to them again.
"Izzy, you're up." Jake said to me as he started to hug me really tight.
"Jake, you can let go of me now." I said to him.
"Sorry, I'm just happy that you're awake, and back to normal." Jake said to me.
"What do you mean back to normal, what happened?" I asked him.
"Oh nothing." Jake said to me.
" Oh, okay then. Wait oh, you guys aren't hiding anything from me or you?" I asked them.
"No, we're not hiding anything." Jake and Cubby said to me.
"Good. Because if you were hiding something from me, I would be really mad." I said to them.
"Oh don't worry you're going to be mad." Cubby sent to me as Jake cover his mouth.
"What did Cubby say?" I asked him.
"He said that you're going to be glad that you're getting discharged." Jake said to me.
"Well, it's about time, that I'm getting discharged woohoo!" I said to him.
"And that you are Ms, Green!" The doctor said to me.
"Yay, I'm getting discharge I'm getting discharge." I sang to myself.
"Jake, here are her clothes, I'll be back with the discharge papers." The doctor said to him as he went to get the discharge papers.
"Hey Izzy do you need any help getting dressed?" Jake asked me.
"Yes please." I said to him.
"Cubby you better turn around I guess." I said to him.
"I'm already on it." Cubby said to me as he already turned around.
So as Jake was helping me getting dressed, he couldn't help on seeing how beautiful I am.
"Oh my God you are so beautiful." Jake said to me.
"Gee, thanks Jake!" I said to him as I blushed.
"Okay all done! You can turn back around Cubby." I said to him as he turned
back around.
As the doctor came back with the discharge papers, Jake immediately signed it, and we finally left the hospital goodbye, and I won't come back.
Jake's POV
As we arrived home, Cubby and I went to the kitchen to cook breakfast.
"So what do want for breakfast?" I asked Cubby.
"Can we just have cereal for breakfast?" Cubby asked me.
"I'm literally about to make pancakes, and you just want cereal for breakfast?" I asked him.
"Yes." Cubby said to me.
"Knock yourself out, I'm making myself some pancakes." I said to him.
As I was making myself pancakes, and Kobe was eating cereal, I immediately took out a carton of pudding for Izzy.
"Izzy, your breakfast is on the table." I said to her as she came running over to the kitchen.
"Pudding? that's my breakfast, pudding?" Izzy asked me.
"Yes, that's your breakfast." I said to her.
"But I want pancakes." Izzy said to me.
"Is he you are only allowed to eat soft food, so eat the pudding or don't eat anything. because I'm not dealing with your behavior today eat the pudding." I said to her.
"Alright." Izzy said to me as she left.
" Izzy, you have to eat the pudding here, so I can watch you." I said to her.
"Oh, so now I'm being supervised, on what I'm eating?" Izzy asked me.
"Yes, yes you are. So sit down on a dining room table, and eat your pudding." I said to her.
"Smooth Jake, real smooth." Cubby said to me.
"Just eat your cereal, Cubby." I said to him.
"Why am I being supervised on eating soft foods?" Izzy asked me.
"Because I don't trust you in the kitchen at the moment." I said to her.
"Wow Jake, that was harsh." Cubby said to me.
"One more word out of you, and you're going to your room." I said to him.
"Loser." Cubby sald to me.
"That's it, go to your room." I said to him.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry Jake it won't happen again I'm sorry." Cubby said to me.
" You promise it won't happen again?" I asked him.
"Yes I promise." Cubby said to me.
"Okay, one more chance. Now just finish your cereal." I said to him.
As I was done making my pancakes, I sat down with my Matey's and started to eat my pancakes with syrup.
"So, Izzy how was you surgery?" I asked her.
"How should I know, I was knocked out." Izzy said to me.
"I meant before you went into the operating room." I said to her.
" Oh, well, I was a little scared at first but I remembered what you guys said, be brave and I did." Izzy said to me.
" Good job Izzy that's the key word be brave always always be brave during surgery because if you don't bye-bye." I said to her.
" But thank God, I didn't go bye-bye." Izzy said to me.
"Yeah thank God." I said to her.
"I mean if you did die, then we would have to hire a new girl pirate to join our crew to replace you." Cubby said to her.
"THAT'S IT, GO TO YOUR ROOM!" I said to him.
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again." Cubby said to me.
"Go to your room, or I'm going to have to drag you there." I said to him.
"No." Cubby said to me.
" ROBERT ADRIEN ANDREWS, GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW!" I said to him.
" FINE, YOU'RE SOUNDING MORE LIKE A DAD!" Cubby said to me as he went to his room.
"Did you not just hear what he just said to me?" I asked Izzy.
" I'm not getting involved with this conversation between you and Cubby! Whatever happened back in the hospital, it's between you two." Izzy said to me.
"I say there's something wrong with that boy." I said to myself.
" Nothing is wrong with Cubby. It's you Jake, you're treating him like a baby." Izzy said to me.
" I am not, treating him like a baby." I said to her.
"Oh yeah, then what do I hear in our bedroom?" Izzy asked me.
"The sound of a parade?" I asked her.
"No, it's cubby crying you goofball." Izzy said to me.
"Oh, well he'll get over it, because I'm not calming him down." I said to her.
" You know what, you can eat by yourself, because I'm already done with my pudding and I'm going to calm him down." Izzy said to me as she throw her pudding carton in the trash, and went to calm down Cubby.
"Good luck, I don't need you I don't need anyone I'm fine by myself." I said to her.
As Izzy slammed the door, and left me alone in the dinning room table, I just sat there, alone with nothing to do. So, as I was done with my pancakes, I placed my plate in the dishwasher, and went into the living room to watch TV.
Izzy's POV
As I climbed up Cubby's ladder, I saw him crying hard onto his pillow.
"Aww, Cubby, it's okay, Mommy's here." I said to him as I wiped a tear from his cheek.
" I hate Jake, he's so mean." Cubby said to me.
"It's okay buddy, it's okay, Mommy's here." I said to him as I rocked him back and forth to calm him down.
Jake's POV
As I was watching Austin and Ally by myself I started to get up from the couch to check up on Cubby maybe I need to apologize to him.
