Chapter 21 Jake apologizes to Cubby
Cubby's POV
As I was still talking to Izzy, I was still upset.
"Izzy, I don't want to talk to Jake anymore, because I don't want to talk to him and that's final." I said to her.
"But, Cubby, can you at least let Jake apologize to you?" Izzy asked me.
"No, I do not want him to apologize to me, Izzy." I said to her.
"Cubby, he's your friend, and big brother." Izzy said to me.
"I know Izzy, but I'm not ready to except his apologize right now." I said to her.
"Okay, Cubby, if you need anything, I'll be on my bed reading a book." Izzy said to me.
Jake's POV
As I was about to go to apologize to Cubby I heard everything, so I just went back into the living room, as I started to cry.
Izzy's POV
As I was reading, my book, I heard crying, coming from the living room. So, I walked into the living room to check if Jake was well, okay.
"Hey, Jake, is everything's okay?" I asked him.
"Well, for starters, u heard what Cubby said to you, and he was talking about me.
"Jake, just give him time, Cubby will forgive you I know he, will." I said to him placing my game on his shoulder.
"Well, I am not going to apologize to him." Jake said to me.
"But, Jake can you at least try to?" I asked him.
"Not going to happen, Izzy." Jake said to me.
"Okay, I'll fine you some time to think about it. And when you are ready to apologize to Cubby, he'll be in the bedroom.
As I was done talking to Jake, I went back to reading.
"Hey, Cubby, is everything alright?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Cubby said to me.
"Oh, okay." I said to him.
"Well, I am going back to reading." I said to him.
Cubby's POV
As I went into the kitchen to get something to eat, I saw Jake was already in the kitchen.
"Oh, Cubby, I'm glad your hear I want to to talk to about earlier." Jake said to me.
"I am not listening." I said to him.
"But I ready want to talk to you, about my behavior." Jake said to me.
"YOUR BEHAVIOR? WHAT ABOUT MINE?" I asked him.
" What is going on in HERE? Izzy asked us.
" Jake's picking another argument with me." I said to her.
"ME?" Jake Jake asked me.
" YES, YOU, YOUR ALWAYS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!" I said to him.
"AT LEAST I HAVE A LIFE TO LIVE WITH." Jake said to me.
" WHAT SOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THIS CONVERSATION WE'RE HAVING?" I asked him.
"Look I didn't come here to argue, I came here to get something TO EAT!" i said to him.
"WELL, I WANTED TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY ACTION!" Jake said to me.
" Like I said before Jake, I don't want to except it. You have completely ruined our friendship." I said to him.
"LOOKS WHO'S TALKING, LITTLE BABY!" Jake said to me.
"You did not just call me that." I said to him.
"You know what, I don't need a history lesson about friendship, because, OUR FRIENDSHIP IS OVER!" I said to him.
"FINE BY ME!" Jake said to me.
" OKAY THAT IS ENOUGH OUCH!" Izzy said to us.
"YOU TWO NEED TO MAKE UP, I HATE SEEING MY BOYFRIEND AND MY FRIEND FIGHTING." Izzy said to us.
" He started it!" I said to her as I was pointing at Jake.
"Doesn't matter who started it, you two have been friends since the day you guys met. All done now that I think of it Jake, you have been best friends with Cubby ever since you met him as a baby." Izzy said to him.
"So, that doesn't change anything." Jake said to her.
"Doesn't change anything... Look at you you're acting like a seven-year-old." Izzy said to him.
" So I SUGGEST THAT THE TWO OF YOU MAKEUP, AND IF YOU CAN'T MAKE UP, BUT IF YOU CAN'T MAKE UP, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T BE FRIENDS AT ALL. THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING!" Izzy said to us as she marched back to the bedroom, leaving me and Jake alone in the kitchen.
Jake's POV
After Izzy left us alone, I was the first one to speak.
"So, um, Cubby, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." I said to him.
"Well, I guess we got carried away for nothing." Cubby said to me.
"So, what do you say truth?" I asked him.
"Truth!" Cubby said to me as he putted his hand out but I have him a hug instead.
"Aww, coconuts!" Cubby said as he blushed.
As Izzy came inside the kitchen she saw Us hugging.
"Looks, like my boyfriend, made up with Cubby." Izzy said to herself.
As Cubby, Izzy, and I were talking we heard a knock on the door.
"Who can that be Jake?" Cubby asked me.
"Oh, that Lisa. I told her that she can come and visit Izzy, once we came back from the hospital.
"Izzy!" Lisa said to her as she cane in and hugged her.
"Uh, come in?" I said as I closed the door.
"So, Jake how did Izzy's surgery go?" Lisa asked me.
"The doctor said that her surgery was a complete success." I said to her.
"I'm glad." Lisa said to me.
"Me, too." I said to her in agreement.
"Anyway, Izzy, the rest of us back at the dance studio, missed you Izzy." Lisa said to her.
" Aww, I missed you guys to." Izzy said to Lisa.
"Oh that reminds me, uh Cubby and I have to run an errand." I said to the girls.
"Wait what no we don't." Cubby said as I just dragged him out of the hideout with me.
Cubby's POV
As Jake and I were outside of The Hideout, I was now confused.
"Jake why did you drag me out of the Hideout?" I asked him.
"Because we got to go so the gang the video of Izzy." I said in his ear.
"Oh, but you do realize that she is going to be mad when she sees this?" I asked him.
"She won't be mad." Jake said to me.
"I don't know Jake, I don't want to get in trouble as well." I said to him.
"Don't worry." Jake said to me as he started to drag me to the dance studio.
Izzy's POV
As the boys were out in an errand, it was just me and Lisa.
"So, it's just the two of us, what di you want to do Lisa?" I asked her.
"I don't know, how about we watch a movie together." Lisa suggested to me.
"That's a great idea Lisa!" I said to her as went to the living room and watched a movie together.
Jake's POV
As Cubby and I called everyone to the cafeteria inside the dance studio, we we're all about to watch Izzy being funny.
"Jake, I don't know about this." Cubby said to me.
"So what are you going to do, tell on me?" I asked him.
"No, but this is a bad idea." Cubby said to me.
"You) did say I can post it on YouTube and I did so we are going to watch it. Go sit down now." I said to him.
"Does everybody want to see a funny video?" I asked them.
"Yeah!" Everyone said bit Cubby who's arms was folded.
"Sorry buddy, everybody wants to watch it." I said to him as I played the video.
As the video was playing everyone started to laugh at Izzy.
"Wow, this video is really funny." Austin commented on it.
"Thanks!" I said to him.
Izzy's POV
As Lisa and I walked inside the dance studio, we heard laughing coming from the cafeteria.
"Hey, Austin, what is everyone laughing at?" I asked him.
" oh so we're watching this girl who was singing baby songs and well, it's funny." Austin said to me.
" Who's the girl?" Lisa asked him.
" So it's Izzy! Wait... IZZY!" Austin said in shocked.
"Stop the video stop the video!" Austin said he was waving his arms back and forth.
"I know it's a great video Austin but you don't have to wear the hands back and forth. This is not a Justin Bieber concert." Jake said to him.
As Austin ran to the plug, he unplugged the video.
"What the?" Cubby asked in surprised.
"What happened to the picture?" Homer asked everyone.
"I'm sorry everyone, the video has been canceled because, Izzy is standing right behind you.
As everyone turned around, they all looked at me pointing and laughing.
"Hey hey Izzy the wheels on the bus go round and round." Luke said to me as he laughed while walking away.
"Where's my finger?" One kid said to me as he laughed.
"Oh, no, Jake I think my leg is broken." Homer said to me as he laughed harder then everyone else.
"Excuse me everyone, I have a question to ask do you know who made that video of me?" I asked everyone.
"Oh that's easy, it was Jake." Dez said to me as he was pointing at Jake.
"Thank you Dez here's a Scooby snack!" I said to him as I gave him a Scooby snack as a treat.
"Izzy, I had nothing to do with it, this was all Jake's idea." Cubby said to me.
"Whoa whoa whoa wait a minute, you're the one that told me to post it on YouTube Cubby." Jake said to him.
" YOU TOLD HIM TO DO WHAT?" I asked him while yelling.
"Okay in my defense it was an accident he didn't mean to Izzy, calm down, do you want a bagel?" Jake asked me while I just marched up to the two boys.
"SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, YOU TOLD ME THAT YOU WERE RUNNING AN ERRAND BUT NO I HAD TO COME HERE AND SEE THAT YOU TWO WERE WATCHING A VIDEO, OF ME?" I asked them.
"Hey, I told him it was a bad idea." Cubby said to me.
" It doesn't matter the told him it was a bad idea or not, what you did was wrong and now I am upset." I said to them.
" You don't look upset." Jake said to me.
"Oh I'm upset on the inside Jake, I'm upset on the inside." I said to him.
"You two are in big trouble I mean big trouble muy grande." I said to them.
"We're sorry Izzy." They both said to me.
" It's going to take me a long time to gain both your trust. This is rude, and really really embarrassing." I said to them.
"We said that we're sorry." Jake said to me.
"The two of you go home now!" I said to them.
As the boys left, I started to cry really hard right now. That's when Lisa came in the cafeteria.
"Hey Izzy you okay?" Lisa asked me as I just walked up to her and started to cry on her shoulder.
"No, I'm not okay what the boys did was really embarrassing I can't believe they did this." I said to her.
"Hey it's okay, I know what they did was wrong I can feel your pain I can." Lisa said to me.
" I can't believe they did that. They are so mean." I said to Lisa.
"Do you want to go home?" Lisa asked me.
"Not right now, I don't want to go home." I said to her.
As I was crying, everyone else came walking in feeling bad for me.
"Hey Izzy, we are all sorry for laughing at you." Austin said to me as everyone else nodded their heads in agreement.
"Well, it doesn't matter, because I'm thinking about doing a payback." I said to them.
" You mean like get back at them?" Lisa asked me.
"Exactly!" I said to her.
"What kind of payback do you have in mind?" Austin asked me.
" Something that will embarrass them more, like their baby photos, and videos of them. Can you guys help me on that?" I asked them.
"We would love to help!" Lisa said to me as I started to smile.
Jake's POV
As we arrived back home, Cubby and I felt really bad about what we did.
"Okay now I feel bad." I said to Cubby.
"You should feel bad Jake, it was your idea to videotape that." Cubby said to me.
"Well it was your stupid idea for me to post it on YouTube." I said to him.
"Should we go back and apologize to her?" Cubby asked me.
"No way man you saw how she was mad at us, we're not going to apologize to her right after we did that." I said to him.
"You're right, she would never accept an apology anyway." Cubby said to me.
"And after what we did, she probably doesn't want to be our friend anymore." Cubby said to me.
" She's probably going to break up with me." I said to him.
" Now why would you think she's going to break up with you Jake?" Cubby asked me.
" Because it was my stupid idea in the first place, I should have never ever ever recorded that." I said to him.
"So did you learn your lesson?" Cubby asked me.
"Yes Cubby, I did learn my lesson." I said to him.
"I'm going to go read my comics." I said to Cubby.
"Okay, I'm going to take a nap." Cubby said to me.
Izzy's POV
As I came home after my crying episode, I didn't hear Cubby or Jake's voice.
"Hello, where is everyone?" I asked as I heard Jake's voice.
" Oh, hey Izzy." Jake said to me as I realized that his hair was wet I guess he was in the shower.
"So, how was your shower?" I asked him.
"It was fine." Jake said to me.
"Look, Izzy I am sorry for showing that video to everyone." Jake said to me while apology.
"Hey, you should have never done that Jake." I said to him.
"I know, and I'm so sorry. So I guess you're going to break up with me huh." Jake said to me.
" No I'm not going to break up with you. But if you ever do that again, I just meant think about breaking up with you." I said to him.
" lIzzy please don't think about that please, you're the best thing that ever happened to me." Jake said to me.
"And you're the best thing that ever happened to me and Jake, but you should have never done that in the first one what if I wasn't under anesthesia then what would you do?" I asked him.
"I don't know what I would do." Jake said to me.
"I mean, would you still record everything?" I asked him.
"Yes." Jake said to me.
" That was a trick question, I can't believe you would really do that Jake I'm very mad at you." I said to him.
"I know you are." Jake said to me.
"I'm not going to sleep with you tonight Jake." I said to him.
"Why not?" Jake asked me.
" Why not why not because Jake you did something really bad that really embarrassed me today you have never done that ever in your entire life." I said to him.
" I'm sorry Jake but I can't sleep with you tonight." I said to him.
" But you're my soulmate we always sleep together." Jake said to me.
"Well, not tonight I'm sorry." I said to him as I went into our bedroom.
Jake's POV
As I was in the kitchen, I started to freak out.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE'S DOING THIS TO ME! I MEAN I'M A NICE GUY I'M ALWAYS NICE BUT NO I HAD TO DO SOMETHING REALLY BAD I'M THE WORST." I said to myself.
As I looked around the kitchen, I started to throw things all over the place.

As I continued to throw things, Izzy and Cubby came running into the kitchen.
"What is going on here?" Cubby asked me.

"Jake, please calm down." Izzy said to me.
"NO, I WELL JOT CALM DOWN." I said to her.
"Jake, what's wrong?" Cubby asked me.
" Izzy, said that she won't sleep with me tonight, that's what's wrong Cubby." I said to him.
" I only said that was because you showed that embarrassing video to everyone at the dance studio." Izzy said to me.
"Well, it felt like you really meant it Izzy." I said to her.
"Well, I am sorry but I made my decision." Izzy said to me.
" But, we're soulmates." I said to her.
"Were soulmates, we were soulmates." Izzy said to me.
"Izzy what are you saying? please don't say it please don't say that your breaking up with me." I asked her.
" I'm sorry Jake butt I need time to think about this I don't know if I should forgive you or not." Izzy said to me.
"So you're not breaking up with me?" I asked her.
" Heck no, didn't I just say that I need time to think about this? where I should forgive you or not?" Izzy asked me.
"Yes, yes you did say that." I said to him.
"Okay, you can think about it." I said to her.
"Thank you now, clean this mess up." Izzy said to me.
"You know I'm older than you." I said to her.
" just clean this mess up Cubby, help him clean the mess up. Izzy said to me
"What? Why do I need to help him?" Cubby asked her.
"Because, you were the one that told him to post that video on YouTube so you're helping him and I'm not taking no for an answer from both of you." Izzy said to him.
"Consider this, as your punishment." Izzy said to us.
"Oh come on." Cubby said to her.
"Yeah, Izzy, this isn't fair." I said to her.
"JUST CLEAN THE MESS UP!" Izzy said to us.
"Yeah, yeah whatever well do it." I said to her.
"Good I'm going to bed." Izzy said to me.
"What it's only... Okay fine, you can go to bed." I said to her.
"Good night boys, and when I wake up, this kitchen better be spotless." Izzy said to us.
So as Izzy went to sleep, Cubby and were cleaning up the kitchen.
"I can't believe that we're stuck here cleaning the kitchen, while your girlfriend is sleeping." Cubby said to me.
"I know, this stinks." I said to him.
"Oh, sorry." Cubby said to me.
"Not you, our punishment." I said to him.
"Oh, well let's just finish up cleaning the kitchen." Cubby said to me.
"Okay!" I said to him as we continued to clean up the kitchen.
As Cubby and I were finally done cleaning up the kitchen, we decided to eat cereal for dinner.
"Jake, why are we eating cereal for dinner tonight?" Cubby asked me.
"Because I don't feel like cooking tonight." I said to him.
"Why didn't you ask me to cook something?" Cubby asked me.
"It was getting late and we were actually cleaning the kitchen so yeah." I said to him.
"Okay, that makes sense." Cubby said to me.
"Well, I'm done eating dinner." I said to Cubby.
"Yeah me too, let's go to bed." Cubby said to me as we went to bed.
