A crossbow is a ranged weapon using an elastic launching device consisting of a bow-like assembly called a prod, mounted horizontally on a main frame called a tiller, which is hand-held in a similar fashion to the stock of a long firearm. Crossbows shoot arrow-like projectiles called bolts or quarrels

Another article of clothing was tossed onto the bed as Violet watched her sibling rip apart the closet for summer clothes.

"Should I pack dresses?" Viox asked, looking distressed as she held up a summer-like dress. It was a pale green and white flowy dress that was simple as could be. Which fit the others personality very well.

Violet tapped her bottom lip, "You'll be there till a day or two after the Lantern Rite. So I would pack a dress to wear to the festival." She commented.

Viox blinked, "I've never been to one, what type of dress should I bring?"

"Do your cute pink and yellow one, you bought it last year when you saw it in the window of Merri's store." Violet said, watching as Viox pulled out a long dress that had sleeves that stopped just shy of her elbows, the dress was short in the front and long in the back. It had an open back with a few ribbons that helped tie it into place so it wouldn't fall off. "I don't know why you buy dresses not to wear them." Violet commented, raising a brow at her sister. Viox had three dresses in total out of all her wardrobe. Her cocktail gown she just bought during the Knight Ball, the green and white one from a couple of summers ago, and the pretty pink and yellow summer dress.

"I'm not sure either Vio." Viox smiled, adding it into the small suitcase that had a few books, notebooks, and clothes. Albedo said he had a friend he wished to talk with before he truly started the studying of emotions, so they were going to Liyue to look for him. It was rumored that he was in town with his courted for the Lantern Rite, a summer festival that was celebrated. Viox didn't know the reason behind the festival, but she was not looking forward to spending three whole months in the hot terrain of Liyue. She definitely stuck with her home roots of being born and raised in Dragonspine. Sure as bards for the Jade Troop, Viox and Violet traveled everywhere, but they only spent a few short days in Liyue when they were little. Though after the twins had hit fifteen, they stopped going to Liyue. Viox was never sure why, and of course after what happened, she never got the chance to ask.

"Are you thinking about it?" Violet asked softly as Viox placed her clothes neatly in her suitcase. "It has been a few years since then huh?"

"It has. Do you think?-"

"Not a chance."

"Right."

Violet smiled a little as she moved off the bed to help her sister buckle up the baggage by sitting on it, "Do you have everything you need for the next three months?" She asked

Viox nodded, "I made sure to bring a few extra things, but Knight Albedo said that we would be staying at a place called, Wangshu Inn? I've never heard of the place. According to Knight Albedo it's a hotel of sorts, he has a good standing with the owner and they are giving us a room with two beds. Klee will be sharing a bed with me, which, not that I mind at all, she's still little, and if she wants to go cuddle with her brother, she can as well." She explained, struggling with the buckles of the suitcase.

Violet blinked, "Klee is going with you guys?" She was surprised at this information due to the fact that the Spark Knight normally didn't ever go on missions.

"Yeah, Knight Albedo said that she needed to have some time away from Mondstadt, so she is coming along." Viox huffed as she tugged the last buckle, locking the case fully.

"Seems odd, but I guess he could also use the support from his adoptive sibling as well, some feelings are different with a sibling than with a person that isn't of blood relation." Violet said, standing up from her spot.

Viox rolled her eyes, she knew what Violet was talking about. She honestly was not about to fall for the Alchemist. Not when she had feelings for Kaeya. She sighed softly, "I like Kaeya, not Knight Albedo. You can't just try and court me off to someone that I hardly know anything about."

"Me? Court my beloved sister off? Never!" Violet protested, placing a hand on her chest, looking as if Viox had wounded her pride.

"Yeah yeah, anyways, now that I'm done packing. I told Knight Albedo I would give him my suitcase for the carriage. We head out tomorrow, and he wanted to load it tonight." Viox looked at Violet, "That means I'll see you later tonight for dinner right?" She asked

Violet nodded, "Yeah, Diluc said it was alright that I spend the night here so I can see you off in the morning. From what I know, the trip to Liyue will take about three-ish days."

Viox sighed, "Yay…"

The night crawled by slowly according to Viox. She sat in her living room for the last night of a long three month trip. Knight Albedo had told her that after Liyue, there was going to be a week for the Windblume festival that they were going to stay in Mondstadt before heading up the the last three months in Dragonspine. Viox was pretty happy at that news. She slowly curled up on her couch with the fuzzy black blanket covering her form. Violet was busy going over some documents about her new teams under her command while Jean was gone on her mission with Lisa. There wasn't a time frame in place for how long that trip was going to be, so Violet was busy planning the new routes and more with Kaeya and Knight Eula. Viox didn't know much about the Spindrift Knight, although word travels fast that Knight Eula was not one you wanted to mess with. So Viox kept clear of that Knight. Violet on the other hand was close friends with Knight Eula. They spoke often and made sure that the other was always taking care of themselves.

"Are you going to sleep, Viox?" Violet's voice spoke up quietly from her place on the floor.

"Yeah, it's getting late, plus I have an early day tomorrow with Knight Albedo and Klee. They want to head out at Dawn. So I need to get as much sleep as possible." Viox yawned out as she leaned into the large pillows of the couch. She was too tired to really move from her spot. Besides the cozy environment that the living room was giving off was even more reason to not move from the warmth of her spot.

"You should go lay down in your room. The couch is no place for a good night's sleep." Violet chimed

Viox sunk down deeper, "I like being here though. Let me sleep where I want for my last night in my home. You can take my bed." She mumbled out as her ears could pick up the sounds of light laughter from her sibling.

The home was soon filled with the sounds of just papers shuffling around, a pen scratching on paperwork, and the smell of strong blueberry tea as well. Violet was busy working on her Knight work while her sister slept soundlessly on the couch.
