A self bow or simple bow is a bow made from a single piece of wood. Extra material such as horn nocks on the ends, or built-up handles, would normally be accepted as part of a self bow. Some modern authorities would also accept a bow spliced together in the handle from two pieces of wood.

Dawn soon came as the sunlight touched the dark blue sky, turning the nighttime to daytime slowly. Albedo stood with a very sleepy looking Klee, next to a large carriage as Viox walked up to them with Violet in tow. She was just as sleepy as Klee as she felt her eyelids flutter while she held back a yawn.

"Good morning Miss Viox, Miss Violet." Albedo greeted

"Good morning Knight Albedo." Viox replied back, brushing some of her hair from her face. "It's going to be a long trip, do we have everything?" She asked, taking a quick look at the small wagon, it was being pulled by two horses, one a deep chestnut and the other was a caramel color.

"We have what we need to make the three day trip. We have a few spots that are marked down for rest stops that the Knights have some bases at. So no worrying over monsters and such while we travel." Albedo explained.

Viox smiled a little, before slowly turning to her sister, "I guess this is where we part ways?" She said quietly

"For now, but I know that you'll get there safely. Just don't die on me alright?" Violet smirked as he held out her hand.

Viox chuckled as she held out hers as well. A few quick movements and the twins had finished their long time secret handshake. They made it after what had happened years ago, and it was a promise that no matter what, they would always come back home.

Viox smiled as she pulled Violet into a hug. Taking just the smallest of moments to hug her sister, before quickly pulling away, tears flooded the back of Viox's eyes slowly as she carefully smiled, "I'll be back in three months, think you can handle being with Kaeya alone during that time?" She teased her twin gently.

Violet chuckled, "Only if I don't kill him first, anyways. I'll see you soon Vi."

"You seem to be uncomfortable? I believe, is the emotion that you are showing on your face, Miss Viox." Albedo quietly commented as he took a seat next to the woman, who was merely reading a book that looked a little worn from writing inside it. Not that he was one to comment on her messy notebook of notes on Golems, but she had been reading it during the ride here. He had seen some messy writing about Clay Golems and how they worked. Though he knew that he was not one. He was made of Chalk after all. Chalk and Gold. His brain buzzed a little with wondering the scientific function of other types of golems and how they were made differently from himself. Though, perhaps it was best to leave it as food for thought. His dull eyes looked over Miss Viox, awaiting for her to respond to his quip.

Viox slowly turned to look at the man, who happened to be sitting next to her. They had made it to their first stop at the first campsite near the Dawn Winery. Viox had spent most of her time sitting next to the Chief Alchemist as he drove the wagon to their destination. Not that she had minded, but more or less the wooden seat was uncomfortable. She cleared her throat a little, giving her answer in a simple way, "My back and legs are a little sore from sitting in the wagon for those few hours, but nothing but some good sleep shouldn't fix."

Albedo nodded, "I see. You can always go into the back of the wagon with Klee in the morning, our next stop is on the water border of Mondstadt and Liyue. After that last stop, it will only take about a few short hours to reach the Inn. I've already sent in a messenger hawk when we arrived here to the next stop to get things all settled before we get there. He explained.

Viox took a moment before replying, "How long is tomorrow's trip?"

"The same amount as today, from Dawn to late afternoon." He states.

"Wouldn't it be easier to travel the rest of the way if it's such a short amount of time?" Viox asks, closing her book carefully to give the Alchemist her attention.

"It would, but due to monster activity being increased at night, it would be best that we just rest at the campsite before heading to the Inn. It's safer that we do so."

Viox sighed through her nose quietly, she mostly was hoping they could get to the Inn tomorrow, but Albedo made a good point on needing to be safe on the trip, after all, she didn't want to put Klee in danger. Her eyes tear away from the Alchemist towards Klee, who was busying herself by the waters edge.

The Knights Campsite was set up on a small sandy shore. Not as big as the ones towards the North of Mondstadt. This one was cooler. The sand was more of multi-colored rocks and pebbles than real sand. Viox didn't mind if she was honest with herself. She wasn't busy digging sand out of her boots or in her clothes. It was nice in a way. Klee also was enjoying it due to the large waterfall she could semi see in the distance, the roar of it was almost quiet to those being loud. Viox could hear it if she allowed herself to settle and not listen to all the Knights walking around.

"We should reach the waterfall tomorrow, the next campsite is just a little ways past it, but we could take a walk over after we get stationed." Albedo's voice enters Viox's ears. She turns her eyes back towards the Alchemist as she gives a small smile since they had left this morning.

"I'd like that."

The next morning was a slower start than the day before due to the horses being a bit stubborn in getting latched onto the wagon. Albedo was handling it well as he was a higher rank than all the Knights that camped here. Viox hid a yawn behind her hand as Klee swayed in her spot, the poor kid was asleep on her feet.

"Miss Viox, Klee, why don't you two go rest inside the wagon, we may be a while longer." Albedo says as he walks over to them. He looks as if he is well rested.

Viox looked him over for a second, before she gently picked up Klee into her arms, "Klee could use some extra sleep. I might catch some extra shut eye as well." She nods towards Albedo, walking towards the back of the wagon.

"I'm very sleepy." Klee whispers softly. Her head rested on Miss Viox's shoulder as they walked. She was happy to sleep a little more as big brother Albedo said.

"I am too. Let's get some sleep while Knight Albedo gets the horses set up." Viox quietly replies, helping Klee into the wagon so the little one could curl up in a small bundle of blankets and pillows that they had all brought to travel with. Viox smiled warmly as she tucked Klee in carefully. Though now that she was back here and not in the cold morning air, she was less tired than before. Carefully, she leaned over towards the bags that they had repacked last night before bed, digging around her leather bag, she pulled out her notebook. She wished to question Albedo a little on what he wanted to learn, and what he was created from and who his creator was. The more clues they had, maybe it would end this trip quicker. She cracked open the notebook as the wagon slowly started to move. She looked out the front flap that was pinned back a little, seeing Albedo sitting in the front seat, horses latched fully as he steered them to their next stop. She could question him now, but perhaps it was better to wait until they were at the Inn?
Viox slowly moved back into her spot in the wagon as she began to read over Dirt Golem's and their abilities.
