Chapter 29 Izzy gets sunburned

Jake's POV

As I was laying down on my bed reading my comic book, Princesss came to our room.

"Oh, hi Princess!" I said to her as she waved at me.

"Do you want me to pick you up?" I asked her as she lifted her arms as I picked her up.

Once Princess was on my lap, I continued to read my comic book.

Izzy's POV

As I was outside getting a sunbath for three hours while I am wearing a crop top since it's a hot day on Pirate Island.

Jake's POV

As I was still reading my comics, Princess fell asleep. So I carried her to where Cubby was watching TV in the living room.

"Hey, Cubby I am going to check up on Izzy, can you take care of Princess?" I asked him.

"Sure, Jake but where's Izzy anyway?" Cubby asked me.

"I believe she's getting a sunbath, and it had been three hours already, she should me coming back inside in 3...2...1!"

" Hey, guys!" Izzy said to us as we looked at her whole body.

"Oh my God! Izzy you do realize your face and legs and arms are really red." I said to her.

"Really? I haven't noticed couch." Izzy said to me.

"Cubby, I be back I'm going to give Izzy a cool bath." I said to him.

"Wait what?" Izzy asked me.

"You're going to take a cool bath now!" I said to her.

"I don't want to take a cool bath." Izzy said to me.

"ISABELLA ROSE GREEN YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE A COOL BATH RIGHT NOW!" I said to her

"I don't want to it's going to burn Jake." Izzy said to me.

"Izzy, it's going to help the burn." I said to her.

"Okay, I'll take a cool bath, bit I won't like it." Izzy said to me as we already arrived into the bathroom.

"Izzy, we're ready here." I said to her.

"Aww, man." Izzy said to me.

"Izzy I gong to start the water and while I'm doing that, I am going to help you take your clothes off." I said to her as I was helping her take her clothes off of her.

"Ouch, it hurts." Izzy said to me.

"Sorry, Izzy." I said to her.

As I helped Izzy into the bathtub, she started to scream in pain.

"Izzy, Izzy, Izzy?! Calm down please, it's only water and it's going to help you with your burning body." I said to her as I stroked her hair.

"Sorry, Jake." Izzy said to me.

"Hey, it's okay." I said to her.

"Hey, Jake, is everything okay in there with Izzy?" Cubby asked me.

"Yeah, she okay!" I said to him.

"Okay, just to let you know, Jake I put Princess on her bed inside her room." Cubby said to me.

"Thanks, Cubby!" I said to him.

"You're welcome!" Cubby said to me then left.

While I was gently dabbing Izzy's skin with a flanner, she was still screaming.

"Shhhh, shhhh, it's okay, it's okay Izzy." I said to her as I was stroking her hair, and cheek.

"But, it really stings, Jake." Izzy said to me.

"I know it does, but this is the only way to help the burning." I said to her.

"I'm sorry Izzy, but it hasn't been 15 minutes you got to wait." I said to her.

"Oh, but waitings hard." Izzy said to me.

"Hey, don't act like a baby." I said to her.

"I'm not acting like a baby." Izzy said to me.

"Izzy, you are acting like a baby stop it." I said to her.

" So I can be in a pouty mood if I want to." Izzy said to me.

" I don't want to be in the tub." Izzy said to me.

" If you can promise me that you can stay in the tub for 15 more minutes, I will give you a pudding that has hearts surrounding it." I said to her.

"Okay, Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"Izzy, I'll be right back." I said to her as I went into the kitchen to get her pudding ready for her.

Izzy's POV

As Jake went to go do something, I decided to get out of the tub.

Jake's POV

As I went back to the bathroom, I saw Izzy, out of the tub.

"ISABELLA ROSE GREEN GET BACK IN THE TUB THIS INSTANT IT HASN'T BEEN 15 MINUTES GET BACK IN THE TUB, RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADY!" I said to her.

"I should have known, that you were going to do this. What is the matter with you?" I asked her.

"I, just wanted to get out of the tub." Izzy said to me.

"That, is not a good excuse." I said to her.

"I just want to get out, Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"Do you want the burn to burn you more?" I asked her.

"No, no I don't." Izzy said to me.

"Then stay in the tub, so it can work the magic!" I said to her.

"No, I want that pudding, it's my pudding not hers." Izzy said to me.

"It will be her pudding, if you don't listen to me." I said to her.

"All right, Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"I am sorry, Jake." Izzy said to me.

"It's okay, Izzy." I said to her.

"I love you, Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"Love you too, Izzy!" I said to her.

"Okay, it has been 15 minutes, so it's time for you to get out." I said to her as I helped her out of the tub.

"Thanks, Jake, I actually really needed that." Izzy said to me.

"Hey, anytime, Izzy." Izzy I said to him.

As we both left the bathroom, we went to the living room and I let Izzy lay down on my knee.

"Jake, I feel like my whole body is in fire." Izzy said to me.

"You'll get used to that, it's going to go away in a few weeks. Now, get some rest my love." I said to her.

"Okay, Jakey." Izzy said to me as she closed her eyes.

"Hey, Jake, is Izzy, okay?" Cubby asked me while walking into the living room.

"Yeah she's fine, she's taking a nap right now on my lap." I said to him.

"Okay." Cubby said to me.

"Oh, Jake I am going to start making dinner, what do you want to eat?" Cubby asked me.

"Maybe, soap." I said to him.

"Okay, Jake I'll go make soap, for dinner." Cubby said to me as he went into the kitchen and started to make dinner for us.

Cubby's POV

As I was cooking dinner, Princess came in the kitchen.

"Whoa where do you think you're going a little rascal of a niece?" I asked her.

"Uncle Cubby read me bedtime story?" Princess asked me.

"I'm sorry Princess Uncle Cubby can't read you a bedtime story right now, he's cooking dinner." I said to her.

Jake's POV

As I was stroking Izzy's hair, our daughter princess, came into the living room holding up a book into my face.

"Oh you want Daddy to read you a bedtime story?" I asked her as she nodded her little head.

"Well, it's almost dinnertime still maybe after dinner okay honey." I said to her as she nodded her head in agreement.

As Princess was showing the book many times, she started to throw the book at me.

"Ouch! Princess you do not throw books at Daddy." I said to her as she started to now throw a fit on the floor witch woke up Izzy.

"Jake, what's going on? And why is Princess throwing a fit on the floor?" Izzy asked me.

"Because she wanted me to read a bedtime story and I told her that after dinner I would." I said to her.

"Jake, you know she's only two." Izzy said to me.

"Um, yeah I know, they Izzy." I said to her.

"Then why don't you read her a bedtime story to help her calm down." Izzy said to me as she picked up Princess off the floor, and on to her lap.

"Hey, hey Princess princess Daddy's going to read you a bedtime story now okay." Izzy said to her as she calmed down a little bit.

As I started to read the three little pigs, Princess was doing the noises of the pigs.

"Little pig little pig let me in." The big bad wolf said.

"Not by the hair, of my chinny chin chin." The pig said to the wolf.

"Okay I'm done reading." I said to Izzy.

"No keep it on Jake, your doing great!" Izzy said to me.

"Are, are you recording this?" I asked her.

" Of course I am it's fun say hi to the croud." Izzy said to me.

"Yeah, I'm not saying hi." I said to her.

"Izzy stop, recording me." I said to her.

"Sorry, Jake!" Izzy said to me.As I started to read the three little pigs, Princess was doing the noises of the pigs.

"Little pig little pig let me in." The big bad wolf said.

"Not by the hair, of my chinny chin chin." The pig said to the wolf.

"Okay I'm done reading." I said to Izzy.

"No keep it on Jake, your doing great!" Izzy said to me.

"Are, are you recording this?" I asked her.

" Of course I am it's fun say hi to the croud." Izzy said to me.

"Yeah, I'm not saying hi." I said to her.

"Izzy stop, recording me." I said to her.

"Sorry, Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"Okay, I'll stop." Izzy said to me.

"Thank you, Izzy!" I said to her.

"Now, let's go see if Cubby is done cooking dinner." I said to her as we both got up and went to the the dinning room.

"I'll join you guys in a minute I'm going to put princess down on her bed." Izzy said to me as she went to go pit princess to bed.

Five minutes later..

As Izzy came back into the dinning room table, we all started to eat our dinner.

"Cubby, this dinner is really good." I said to him.

"Thanks, Jake!" Cubby said to me.

" Jake, thank you for the pudding!" Izzy said to me while giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Aww, you got chocolate on my cheek, you're welcome anyway." I said to her.

"So, Izzy how did you get sunburned?" Cubby asked her.

"I guess I stayed in the sun, too long." Izzy said to

"Did you remember to put sunblock on before you went outside?" I asked her.

" No, because I thought I didn't need it." Izzy said to me.

"Izzy you need sunblock on you, before you go anywhere especially when you're just going outside to get a tan." I said to her.

" Sorry, Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"You should be sorry because right now, since you didn't put sunblock on, you got burnt." I said to her.

"For now on, before you go outside, you are definitely going to put on sunblock." I said to her.

"Hey, I said I was sorry Jake." Izzy said to me.

"Oh come on, why do I need to put on sunblock?" Izzy asked me.

"Because, you need to put on

sunblock before you go out." I said to her.

"Well I'm not putting it on." Izzy said to me.

"That's it go to bed NOW!" I said to her.

"But Jake.." Izzy said to me.

"Go...to..bed." I said to her as she got up and went bed.

Cubby's POV

As Jake and we're the only once you eating our dinner, I had to ask him a question.

"Hey Jake, what do you think about me marrying Stormy one day?" I asked him.

"Whoa you want to marry Stormy, that's a big step Cubby." Jake said to me.

"Well I'm thinking about it." I said to him.

"So, you're thinking about marrying the love of your life in the future that's actually incredible Cubby." Jake said to me.

"I know." I said to him as I blushed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to treat you like that." Jake said to me.

"It's okay Jake I know you're just looking out for me." I said to him.

"You're my little brother it's my job to look after you buddy because what if you get hurt. Right?" Jake asked me.

"Yeah you got a point, Jake. But listen I'm not going to get hurt." I said to him.

"Okay but if you do, don't come cryin to me." Jake said to me.

"I always come crying to you Jake you're my big brother." I said to him.

"Thanks buddy. So, ready to head to bed?" Jake asked me.

"Oh yeah time for me to start dreaming about Stormy woohoo!" I said to him.

"And it's time for me to start dreaming about Izzy double woohoo." Jake said to me as we started to laugh.

Jake's POV

As we went to bed, Izzy was sleeping. So, I decided to sleep with her.

"Hey, Izzy, can I sleep with you?" I asked her.

"Jake, you don't have to ask me, your my boyfriend of course you can sleep with me." Izzy said to me as I went under the covers and coddled up next to her as we both slept together.

Izzy's POV

But, during the middle of the night, the sunburn started hurting really bad.

"Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake Jake Jake, Jake wake up!" I said to him as I was waking him up.

"Izzy, what's the matter? Did you have a nightmare?" Jake asked me.

"No, the sunburn, I really burning me." I said to him.

"I'll, get the wet flannel, to help with the burning and it will burn, just to let you know Izzy." Jake said to me as he went to go get the flannel.

As Jake came back with flannel, he started to dab it on to my skin witch really started to burn more.

"Jake, it burns!" I said to him.

"I know it does Izzy, but this is the only thing that I can use right now." Jake said to me.

"Izzy, I am going to put some cream on both your legs." Jake said to me as he went to go get the cream.

Once Jake came back with the cream, he immediately rubbed it all over both my legs.

"Thanks, Jake!" I said to him.

"Hey, you're welcome, Izzy." Jake said to me.

" Jake, the cream isn't actually helping my legs are really really, hurting me." I said to him.

"I feel like my legs are about to fall off." I said to him.

"Izzy, your legs are not going to fall off." Jake said to me.

"Are you sure?" I asked him.

"I'm sure!" Jake said to me.

"Thanks, Jake!" I said to him.

"You're welcome Izzy, I love you." Jake said to me.

"I love you too Jakey!" I said to him as we shared a kiss on the lips.

"Oh, I saw Mommy kissing Daddy!" princess said to us.

"Princess, go to bed!" I said to her as she gave me a thumbs up and went back to bed.

After Princess went back to bed, Jakett and I went back to sleep.
