Nostalgia is a sentimentality for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations. The word nostalgia is learned formation of a Greek compound, consisting of νόστος (nóstos), meaning "homecoming", a Homeric word, and ἄλγος (álgos), meaning "pain" or "ache", and was coined by a 17th-century medical student to describe the anxieties displayed by Swiss mercenaries fighting away from home.

"Come one and all! We have the finest kites for the Lantern Rite!"

Viox rolled her eyes as Klee, Albedo, and herself walked through the streets of Liyue Harbor. Vendors all over the place called out their handmade crafts that would honestly break in a week or two depending on how rough you were with the object.

"Pretty jewels for a pretty woman! Miss surely you'd like one?" A Vender called out towards Viox, who ignored the call.

She wasn't one to really be interested in fake jewels. Her eyes did peek over at Albedo, who was talking with Klee about something, she couldn't really hear them over the crowds, but his necklace that she picked out for him still dangled around his neck, flashing here and there. The man refused to remove it, Viox was curious about that part, but whatever the man didn't feel like sharing, it wasn't her job to push it.

"Viox?" Albedo's voice called out.

She paused in her walking, "Yes?"

Albedo walked over with Klee in hand as he pointed towards a firework stand, "We wanted to stop by that stand for a minute, would you like to join us?" He asked

Viox nodded, "I wanted to buy some fireworks for us. The Lantern Rite is in a few short weeks after all." She smiled a little. How long had it been since they were here? She felt her smile drop a little as she watched Albedo and Klee walk ahead and look over the stand. Klee's face was lit up in pure joy as Albedo pointed at a large firework. Viox wanted to say a month and a half. The last few weeks had been spent researching the Chasm and very bit of Lore behind the place. Albedo had a small plan formed to go and look over the area, but Klee would stay behind with Rei for the week trip it would take to go and look over the Chasm. He wanted her to go along with him to research the area, Not that she could say much about it. She didn't have a clue about researching for a person that was last seen in some cavern in the ground caused by the late Rex Lapis.

"Big Sister Viox!" Klee's voice called

Viox smiled again, the newest development in their small group was that Klee hardly ever called Viox by 'Miss Viox' instead had picked up the big sister title for the older woman. Viox hardly minded it one bit, she felt actually really happy that Klee considered Viox an older sibling.

"Yes Klee?" Viox asked, walking over to the other two. Kneeling down to see the small box of sparklers in Klee's hands.

"I got different colors! I got a few pink ones for you!" Klee said as she pointed to the ones with a pink painted stick.

Viox looked at the other colors as well, there were more yellow colored ones than all the other colors, "I'm assuming you got these for you and Albedo?" She asked, pointing at the yellow painted sticks, watching as Klee nodded happily

"Of course! Albedo likes the color yellow and it matches his hair! I like it too but not as much as red!" Klee explained as she pointed to each color carefully, explaining why she had gotten that color and what it had reminded her of.

Viox listened as she nodded along when she was agreeing with the younger of course. Her eyes darted towards Albedo, who was buying a few smaller crates of fireworks, "What is Albedo doing?" She asked as Klee finished up explaining.

"Oh, he thought we would all like to set off fireworks during the Lantern Rite, so he's buying us each a box." Klee stated

Viox smiled a little more as the Golem of a man picked up the three small crates in his arms. "How thoughtful."

Viox was walking with Klee as Albedo walked behind the group, his hands still full of fireworks as they went on looking around the Harbor port to gather things for their own little Lantern Rite. Viox paused as a familiar Vender appeared in her sight. It was the old toy maker, she made toys for everyone of all ages, but the last time Viox had gotten a toy from the Toy Maker was years ago.

"Hey Klee?" She turned to the smaller

Klee perked up, "Yes?"

Viox pointed towards the Toy Maker's Stand, "Would you like to get a toy?" She asked, but before she could take Klee over, the younger was pulling at her hand and dragging her over to the stand.

"Klee would love one! Come on before there's a line!" Klee called out excitedly.

Viox couldn't help but chuckle a little at the other's enthusiasm. She walked over with Klee. Looking over the toys, a small music note bracelet caught her eye. It had a harp on it that looked like the one Viox used to play. She gently touched it before she moved on to look at what Klee was picking out. Shortly the younger had picked out a small stamp booklet that had a flower stamp and some ink that seemed watered down so it didn't stain the skin.

Viox had bought it from the Vender as she allowed Klee to stamp the top of her hand. "I think that's enough shopping around for the day, don't you agree Klee? Albedo?" She asked the other two

Albedo looked at her with a blank face as always, but Klee piped up that she was getting tired of walking around. So they all agreed to head back to the Inn for the rest of the day. Not that Viox minded, though she looked back at the Stall and noticed that the bracelet was gone, someone must have bought it. She frowned a little, as it did bring her a little nostalgia at the trinket. She shrugged it off as they headed towards the wagon. Perhaps someone had a better use for it than she did.

Albedo didn't notice a lot of things. People flirting with him, emotions, smiling, and more he could easily list off, but the one thing he was able to notice was when Klee was sad. Though it was Viox that looked sad, he watched her fingers brush a small bracelet on the stand, before she went away from it to help Klee pick out a small toy. He was quickly reminded of the necklace that Viox had given him that was still hanging around his neck since he was given it. Albedo merely made up his mind as Viox was busy with Klee, he asked the vendor the price and bought the bracelet quickly before Viox could notice it was gone. He slipped it into his pocket as the other turned to pay for Klee's stamp toy. He would give it to the woman later tonight.

"Albedo?" Klee's voice echoed out

Though his little sister might have other ideas as they headed towards the Wagon, going back to the Inn sounded wonderful, his arms hurt a little after carrying the fireworks that he had bought for all of them.

Albedo watched Viox pace for the last hour. Back and forth as she was calculating the amount of time they would be gone researching the Chasm. Rhinedottir was last seen there, so perhaps she may very well be there. Though Albedo didn't want to see his creator in the form he was still in, emotionless and not able to understand what he was learning. Viox still could make a dent in what Albedo could be. They had been testing with many different skills and such, but Viox needed to go back to Mondstadt to get the next volumes in researching Golems and the ways they were created. So far, Viox had muttered about Albedo not being a Dirt, Wood, Rock, and Water Golem. Which if Albedo was being honest with himself, all of those types sounded horrible.

"Albedo, are you sure you want to bring Zhongli and Xiao along?" Viox asked

Albedo cleared his throat a little, "I think they would be useful, we need someone to lead us there and then to lead us back. If we can go to the bottom of the Chasm and see what clues we could find, it may help us later on."

Viox made a pouting face at least that was what Albedo thought she was making with her lips being turned into a frown and perused up like a puffy fish that was commonly found fishing. Albedo merely watched the other go back and forth. Still pacing.

"Viox, can I bother you for a moment of your time?" Albedo asked

Viox had stopped her in pacing as she looked at the other with confusion, "You don't have to ask to have a moment Albedo, what is it you need?"

Albedo carefully reached into his pocket and pulled out the music bracelet that also had the Harp piece on it, "I wanted to give this to you, I believe the emotion this bracelet gives you is called Nostalgia? So nostalgic I believe is the correct term. You were staring at this and you looked happy, perhaps it brought up happier memories when you were younger? That is what the definition is." He explained, holding it out to her

Viox carefully took the bracelet, holding the small thing in her hand, she smiled, "Look at you figuring out a new emotion and you werent even the one feeling it. How did you figure out it was nostalgia I was feeling?" She asked, her mind was curious

Albedo shrugged one of his shoulders slowly, "I am unsure. At first I thought you were merely sad, but you still displayed happiness. It was hard to pinpoint if it was nostalgia, but with a little help from Klee, I was able to track it down." He looked up as Viox leaned down, her lips were soft on his forehead as he felt her pull away, was this her way of thanking him? Klee often kissed his cheek in thanks, but never his forehead.

"I will keep this safe Albedo."
