Rage (also known as frenzy or fury) is intense, uncontrolled anger that is an increased stage of hostile response to a perceived egregious injury or injustice.[1]

Viox felt her patience snap little by little, as if the small threads holding it together were being picked off one by one as she felt her jaw clench for the fourth time that morning.

"Oh Albedo! Have you seen the lily pads yet? We should go and see them today!"

"You've never tried spicy fruit before? You got to try it now!"

"Albedo, have you thought about going for a walk today?"

Viox bit into her toasted bread a little too harshly as she pulled away from it she could feel Albedo's eyes on her.

"What?" She asked after she swallowed her mouth full, looking back at the other with a glare. She already wasn't happy when his 'courted' was so loud. She hated the feeling of being mean, but she really couldn't handle the fact that the woman hardly had done anything but stick to Albedo's side like she was some kind of weed. It had already taken time away from researching the creatures in the Chasm and how the Dark Mud was affecting them.

Albedo reached over and wiped her cheek gently, "You had a little jam there." He stated bluntly as always.

Viox could feel her face grow hot as she nodded her thanks before eating her toasted bread in a normal way. She wasn't expecting his sudden attention on her, as all of it had been on his courted this morning. She wasn't regretting this at all! Curse Rei and her ability to make Viox overthink about everything now. Viox took a sip of her coffee as she tried to relax in the warmth it brought her. Maybe it was just the fact she hadn't even finished her first cup this morning and that was why she was so annoyed at Miss Alexie's presence.

Albedo had asked if she would come and eat with him and Miss Alexie this morning, as Zhongli and Rei had taken Klee to go fish blasting so early in the morning. Which Viox didn't have a problem with. It was Miss Alexie's bubbly mood. Viox was trying to enjoy her morning quietly as she had done for the past few years. She was glad that even Klee wasn't a morning person, so their mornings had been quiet. She had a gut feeling that if Albedo married Miss Alexie, Klee wouldn't be happy at the fact the older woman was so chipper.

"Oh Miss Viox? You wouldn't mind if I steal Albedo away for the day?" Miss Alexie asked

Viox raised a brow, "It's up to him to decide that."

"Oh I know, but I didn't want you to get all lonely today since Klee, Miss Rei, and Mister Zhongli are all busy, and Albedo would be gone." Miss Alexie stated

Viox looked at her. The sheer audacity of this woman to state something so bold and so bravely. Viox's eyes glanced over to Albedo, who was reading over the book she had let him borrow as he clearly was not paying close attention to his courted.

Viox cleared her throat, "Its fine really. I don't mind being alone for a few hours, itll help me out in getting some more research done about a few things."

"Oh really? What are you researching? Maybe Albedo can help you out! He is an Alchemist after all." Miss Alexie smiled warmly

Viox blinked, "What does him being an Alchemist have to do with helping me in my research?" She asked, merely confused at the woman's statement.

Miss Alexie giggled, "Because he's incredibly intelligent! So he could help out in case you need someone to bounce some ideas off of."

Viox growled under her breath as she stood up, "Excuse me. Miss Alexie, Albedo. I will be going now." She said as she made her way back into the Inn. She wasn't going to let the other's words get to her. Viox took a deep breath, maybe she was just trying to be friendly? Miss Alexie wasn't a bad person. Sure she was a bit overboard on the smiles and such, but Viox could see the two being friends. Maybe she just needed a minute to just relax. Rei's words flooded her mind, "Do you regret it?"

Viox rolled her eyes, of course she didn't regret it! She had barely known Albedo for three months, she didn't have a crush and it wasn't her place to even regret anything! She gently bit her lip.

If that was the case…Why did she feel jealous of Miss Alexie?

"Oh dear…Did I say something wrong?" Miss Alexie asked as she turned towards Albedo, noticing he was watching Miss Viox go back inside the Inn. She frowned a little at that fact, but brushed it off. She was the one courting him after all. He liked her and not Miss Viox.

"I am unsure. Viox isn't the morning type of person. So perhaps you had talked a little too much." Albedo commented as he went back to his cup of tea. He wasn't all hungry in the mornings and this morning was more tense than the other. He learned that the emotion he was feeling yesterday was indeed regret, and even now he was regretting spending the morning with Miss Alexie.

"Oh. Maybe I should apologize to her? I was just so excited to officially talk to one of your closest friends. I blew it a little didn't I?" Miss Alexie replied back

Albedo set his tea down carefully, "No. I believe there is just something on her mind. She tends to get this way from what I have noticed. Viox gets obsessive over her research projects much like my assistant Sucrose. Timeus also does it from time to time when he is close to a breakthrough. She needs time."

Miss Alexie sighed, "I guess you're right. I feel a little silly." She chuckled

Albedo nodded before he went back to his book. He didn't mind Miss Alexie's company, perhaps all the clinginess was due to being excited about a relationship. He had learned that from reading one of Viox's romantic books she had brought along on the trip. Albedo had to admit, the kissing scenes and the…other scenes were very intriguing, though he couldn't really understand how someone could 'enter' someone still.

"Albedo?" Miss Alexie called out

"Hm?"

"Do you like me?"

"Ask me later."

Viox chuckled, "Mister Adeptus, I know you're there. Is there something I can help you with?" She asked as she turned in her chair to see the Adeptus sitting on Albedo's bed. She had been in the room for most of the day now, and had gotten pretty far into researching the Chasm, but the presence of someone watching her had caught her attention. She ruled out a few people in general due to her being in eyesight of the Inn room door. That and only one person could teleport in and out of places.

Xiao looked a little unsure on her comment, "I wanted to talk about The Alchemist and Primordial. It has to do with the Chasm and the Dark Mud."

Viox's eyes widened
