Panic is a sudden sensation of fear, which is so strong as to dominate or prevent reason and logical thinking, replacing it with overwhelming feelings of anxiety and frantic agitation consistent with an animalistic fight-or-flight reaction. Panic may occur singularly in individuals or manifest suddenly in large groups as mass panic (closely related to herd behavior).

"What about Albedo and Primordial do you know? Wait, how do you even know about that?! Have you been listening in on us?!" Viox snapped as she stood up from her chair. She felt almost naked in a way. How dare this Adeptus spy on her group. Especially with this type of information.

"I know due to Rex Lapis and the woman that smells like the Alchemist." Xiao stated, his face looked as if he was unbothered

Viox glared, "Rhinedottir. You know about Rhinedottir?"

Xiao gave the other look as he raised his brows.

"Don't give me that look with your weird cat eyes! You're the one who did the magical teleport into my Inn room and then processed to dump the fact that you know things about all of this mess!" Viox hissed out as she crossed her arms, "How else am I supposed to just, 'handle' the mere fact you know about The Chasm, Rhinedottir, Primordial, Albedo, and hell the Dark Mud!"

"I thought you were the most reasonable out of the humans."

Viox stared at him as if he had grown three heads, "How on Teyvat do I look the most reasonable?"

"You don't smell funny."

Viox felt so naked in front of the Adeptus, her arms moved on reflex as she covered her chest a little, "You smell me?!"

Xiao rolled his eyes, "I was apparently wrong. You are the most weird. Shame."

"I'm the weird one?!" Viox screamed

Xiao merely moved away a little, "Listen human, do you want to learn about The Chasm or not?" He asked

Viox froze, should she even risk learning about this. Without Albedo it seemed like she would be learning about things she shouldn't know until he told her. She carefully took her seat, "Will you tell me everything?"

"All I know."

"Then please, excuse my rudeness. Go on."

"You can not treat us this way Master! Cretaceus is still a being! Even if he is a Golem! He is my brother by Creation and blood! Even Humus agrees!" Primordial spat as he stood firmly in front of his brother, Cretaceus. His purple eyes glared as his blond hair fell into his face. He would not allow his Master to abuse Cretaceus any longer.

The woman in front of the creations glared, "He needs to learn! Move aside Primordial! You may have will but you still are under my command and word." She growled out. The blade in her hand dripped with the color of gold and black, this was the blood of Cretaceus that coated the blade. Her long blonde hair brushed the ground as her dark blue eyes dared the smaller to challenge her command.

Cretaceus covered the long gash on his forehead with his pale hands, as the blood of his body dripped into his face, he hadn't even felt the pain. He wasn't even surprised when the explosion had gone off. He had given away their location to the creatures covered in the thick Dark Mud from Rhinedottir's failed experiments. He could feel the blood leak more into his dull sea-green eyes as most of his blond hair had been thoroughly coated by his life force.

They had been studying The Chasm, as Rhinedottir had wanted to see how the Dark Mud, or Nigredo Lute, worked on creatures. They had been using animals at first, but Rhinedottir merely had become bored with the fact that the animals could not handle the Nigredo Lute. So she started testing it on the Hilichurls.

Primordial was mortified at her risk. Rhinedottir knew that the Hilichurls were once a part of her own home. They were the people of the once great land called, Khaenri'ah.

"Master…if you wish to punish Cretaceus, put me in his place instead." Primordial spoked quietly.

Rhinedottir froze, "Primordial, is this what you wish?"

"To protect my brother. It is."

That night. The punishment had taken place deep under the belly of the Mountain of Ice and Death. Primordial stood tall with each shaky step as his hand itched to grip onto his brother's, but this was the chance to prove that he wasn't the failed creation of human life that his Master always said he was. Primordial looked towards his sibling. If they hadn't been born at different times, they could have easily been twins. A rarity in its own right.

"Cretaceus?"

The other rose his head

"I will miss you…brother." Primordial spoke

Cretaceus just stared blankly

The death of Primordial was a deep reminder for Rhinedottir as well as Cretaceus. They watched as Humus swallowed the other without an ounce of regret.

"Death comes to those who want it. It is like the blade of life. You toe the line and you risk your life. Do not allow your brother's death to be in vain." Rhinedottir snarled at Cretaceus.

The Golem merely watched as Humus took off towards the City of The Wind. He did not understand why Primordial was allowed to take the punishment that Cretaceus deserved rightly. Perhaps this was the will of humans.

"The universe is a dark essence of the true starry sky, and the earth is the accumulated memories of the time and lives. The Chalk: that is you, Cretaceus. The earth is where alchemy gets its name, and is the base of all life…and this…this is new birth."

Cretaceus stared on as his Creator created a new life within the container. His eyes never changed from the dull unsurprised state. He was unsure by what his Creator meant by this. He looked up at the woman before him as she smiled.

"Chalk is the substance from which primal life is molded. Cretaceus, you are the perfect Golem that will be the weapon in the Great War to come. The Ender of all things we know as 'humans born of man', the new world has no use of men born from flesh and blood."

Her words were not harsh, but Cretaceus was understanding. He was a weapon for his Creator, and she would use him in her great plan. New birth was required for the world of Teyvat to continue on, and he would be there to give his assistance.

"Master, if I am to become a weapon for this, how many will be dead by my hands?" Cretaceus asked, his eyes darted to his clean hands, something inside him pulsed as if this plan seemed wrong in a way.

"You need not to worry about that Cretaceus. Now, let us keep going, you have another task that awaits you." His Master replied as she placed a hand on her creations shoulder. Her blue eyes lowered in a glare as she knew the presence that was nearing them. Her failed experiment. Rhinedottir looked up towards the cold iced rocks from her spot as nothing was there. Primordial had survived, but for how long had he? Humus's blood after his fall must have caused Primordial to come back from death. Rhinedottir was sure of this.

Her gaze went back to Cretaceus, who had busied himself with his task of creating life from the pure chalk that was on the table. He was perfect in every way that Primordial was not. Golems all listen to their Masters, unless greed takes the Master's mind. Rhinedottir knew this when she made her Creations. Though Primordial had failed in becoming a Golem. He became a man. She had created a true human in an attempt to create Cretaceus. She had attempted to raise the other as if he was a Golem, but Primordial had developed his own views, values, and goals that did not meet Rhinedottir's expectations.

Cretaceus was perfect.

Viox bit her lip in worry. Just by hearing the story, or even just this part of it was enough to send her into a panic. Primordial and Albedo…Rhinedottir. What did this all mean? She looked towards Xiao as more questions leaked into her mind. Did Albedo remember any of this?

"Then what happened?" She asked
