Jealousy can consist of one or more emotions such as anger, resentment, inadequacy, helplessness or disgust. In its original meaning, jealousy is distinct from envy, though the two terms have popularly become synonymous in the English language, with jealousy now also taking on the definition originally used for envy alone.

Viox looked at Albedo and Miss Alexie holding hands and talking. She wasn't glaring but she was a little upset that Albedo's attention had all gone towards the other woman.

"Jealousy is not a pretty look on you Miss Viox." Zhongli stated as he sipped his hot tea. His golden eyes looked at the pink haired woman.

Viox sighed, "I'm not jealous, okay? Just a little upset that Albedo hasn't really had time for me the last five days. I know I'm just his researcher, but it's quiet without him asking questions." She admits, even though she doesn't want to. Klee and Rei had gone to the kids section of the Lantern Rite stalls and were looking around for a dress Klee could wear for the big festival. Meanwhile Viox and Zhongli were having some tea and watching over the crowds of people. Viox had merely seen Albedo and Miss Alexie walking around.

"That would be jealousy still, even if you put it in different words. Why are you feeling so jealous that his courtier is spending time with him before he leaves her here alone in five days when you get to go back with him?" Zhongli asked as he set his small tea cup down

"Again, not jealous. Anyways I merely miss his company, is all." Viox stated as she played with the sleeve of her shirt.

Zhongli chuckled, "As Rei comments, you could have a crush on the man. Though I'm not sure what crush means still, it must be some term I am unfamiliar with."

Viox raised her brows and made a small face, thinking about how to explain to the taller person what a crush was, "A brief but intense infatuation for someone, especially someone unattainable or inappropriate. It's called a crush due to its brief emotions for someone. I for one, do not have a crush on Albedo, as much as Rei likes to say I do, I really don't."

"Ah." Zhongli mused softly in understanding

Viox nodded, "I like someone else. Besides, I'm really nervous to see them once again. I've never really been open with my feelings for the other, and this will be the first year I tell them."

"Oh so someone other than Albedo. That's odd. Does Rei know this information?"

"She does, but she doesn't always listen. Even though you know that." Viox replied as she stopped playing with her sleeve.

Zhongli nodded, "She has always been a little hot headed, but it's one of the many things that I adore."

Viox's eyes darted over to Albedo, who as always, looked unamused by the whole world around him. It was probably one of the things she could adore about the other if she had feelings for him.

Zhongli cleared his throat, "It's about time we meet up with Rei and Klee. I'm sure they've picked something out by now. Come let us go."

Viox sighed, "Let's hope they don't get me a dress while they've been shopping for Klee."

Viox groaned as she was handed a bag, "You got me a dress didn't you?" She asked as her green eyes glared at Rei.

"Klee picked it out actually, I merely bought it for you." Rei explained with a smile

Viox's eyes softened as she looked over at Klee, who was grinning
"You picked me out a dress, Klee?" Viox asked as she knelt down to the same level as Klee.

"I did! I thought you would like to match me! So we both got matching dresses and they have Gaze Lilies on them! You got a blue dress though and I got a red one!" Klee explained as she held up her bag with both hands, "We also got matching shoes and necklaces! Rei made sure that our outfits looked the same!" She grinned

Viox chuckled, "So that means we're going on a Sister date during the festival huh?"

Klee squealed happily, "Do we get to launch our fireworks too?!"

"Of course! Its Lantern Rite, fireworks are a must, but you cant use any of your bombs, we keep those towards the fishes as normal." Viox said as she stood up, "Well let's go get your brother and we can turn in for the day at the Inn. Lantern Rite is only a few short days away and we still need to finish re-packing our bags and making sure all our things are gathered up."

"I saw him over by the lily pads with Miss Alexie." Rei piped up

Viox gave her a quick nod as she took up Klee's hand, "We'll see you two in the morning?"

"As always!"

When night had fallen, Viox had sat still on her shared bed as Klee played with her hair. The younger had insisted she come up with hair ideas to wear for the event coming up in 4 days. Not that it all mattered, Klee would most likely be too excited to do Viox's hair that day since they were also planning out their steps. Since Albedo was going to be gone all day with Miss Alexie. Klee and Viox had been talking about their plans for that day.

"So first breakfast right?" Viox asked as she wrote something down in her notebook

"Yes and then fish blasting since we cant do anymore when we get back home!"

"Then we wanted to look around the theater?"

"And watch the new show they're doing! Remember it's about the Lantern Rite!"

"Yes yes, and then afterwards we wanted to eat some lunch, and grab some snacks before heading back here at the Inn."

"Can we get some fishermen's toast for dinner?"

"Of course we can, it is just us, so we can basically have anything we want within reason."

Klee giggled as she twisted some more of her older sister's pink hair into the braid that Albedo had taught her. She took a moment, "Big Sister Viox?"

"Hm?"

Klee looked down at her lap, "Do you like Miss Alexie?"

Viox froze, before a soft smile made itself onto her face, she carefully turned around to face the younger, "Klee."

The other looked up

Viox carefully reached out and took Klee's smaller hands into her own, "I may not like Miss Alexie, but I know that she very well may make your brother happy. I would like to say she and I are more like distant friends. It's okay not to like someone, but remember to always be kind to them as well."

Klee took in the words carefully, "So I don't have to like Miss Alexie, but I still need to be kind?"

"Yes. It's something that I've learned to do as a grown up, and now you get to learn it too." Viox smiled more, "Besides, you always have me to talk to. Especially when Albedo is going to be a bit busy with his courted."

Klee nodded, "I'm glad I met you Big Sister Viox."

"Me too Klee. I'm really excited to keep going on this journey with you as well."
