Irritation in biology and physiology, is a state of inflammation or painful reaction to allergy or cell-lining damage. Irritation also has non-clinical usages referring to bothersome physical or psychological pain or discomfort.
Day one of five wasn't all too bad for Albedo as he was counting down the days till the group returned home. So far, he hadn't been bothered to leave the Inn room today. He was, as Viox put it, taking a rest day as he very much needed it. Viox and Klee had taken out Miss Alexie for some lunch and were walking around the Harbor to check in on all the sights they wanted to see before they left for Mondstadt. Albedo on the other hand wanted to finish up packing and of course research notes. The most valuable object among the bags was stored in his alchemy kit. A vial of Dark Mud rested in the case, along with some other things he had collected while here. He wanted to see if anything in his lab could cleanse the Dark energies of the mud and allow the Chasm's 'sickness' as he had dubbed it, a cure. Though he had a few theories on why the Dark Mud had appeared in the first place. Maybe Rhinedottir was collecting some of it, or she was using the Chasm as a dumping site for her failed experiments. Albedo wasn't all too sure, but it wasn't going to stop him from finding out what the mud did.
Though he had learned a new emotion. Irritation, the emotion of being upset or irritated at someone or something that gives you unhappiness. Though he was not personally feeling the emotion, he noticed Viox was feeling the emotion. In fact she had been really irritated when Miss Alexie showed up at their Inn room door and let herself inside. Viox had yet to touch her morning coffee that Albedo had just barely put down after he had gotten back with their breakfast for the day. Klee also was irritated due to Miss Alexie being someone who was an early riser. Klee never was a fan of getting up, the younger liked her sleep, much like Viox did.
What was worse is that Viox was dressed in her sleepwear when she answered the door, and so was Albedo and Klee. They all were not dressed yet for the day. Albedo had luckily grabbed his robe and wrapped it around himself when getting the breakfast, but when he had gotten back, he had taken it off due to wanting to get dressed while eating as he did every morning. Viox was in one of Albedo's shirts because one of her sleep shirts had torn last night and she didn't have anymore until they went down to wash their dirty clothes from the week so Albedo had offered one of his. She had worn it with a pair of her sleep as to not feel left out, had also borrowed a shirt from Albedo's collection, she wanted to match Viox as the two giggled about being Albedo for the night. Albedo didn't mind the squeals and shouts of who was the better Alchemist as he read one of the many books that Viox had brought along this trip. The other two were merely enjoying themselves as they played around before Klee was ready to settle for sleep.
In which is how Miss Alexie had found them this morning. Albedo in his sleep pants without a shirt, Viox wearing his shirt, and a really sleepy Klee in his shirt as well. The woman had looked as if she was trying not to break down at the fact that Albedo had ripped his robe off of the bed and wrapped it around himself to hide his body from her view. Viox merely expressed her emotion of irritation as Miss Alexie sat down next to her. Klee was scowling as she was chewing on her pancakes. Her red eyes were staring down the talkative Miss Alexie.
Albedo didn't understand why Miss Alexie kept hinting at the fact that Viox should change from her night clothes as it was inappropriate of Viox to be wearing her sleepwear in front of a man. He had watched Viox glare at the other as she stood up and left, motioning Klee to follow so the two could start their morning as they always did. They would change, do their hair, and brush their teeth as normal before reappearing and putting on their shoes.
This morning was tense and the air was so thick you could cut it with a butter knife. Albedo wasn't one to say much in general as his courted asked about what his day looked like and such. When Viox and Klee returned, they had asked if Miss Alexie would join them today and allow Albedo a much needed rest. Miss Alexie was concerned at first, but with Viox's silver tongue as Albedo like to say, the other woman followed the others.
Which was why Albedo was here. In the room alone, carefully packing away items from their trip. He was sorting notes and books as he awaited the return of his group. They only did have a few days left, and he still wanted to take time to enjoy the Lantern Rite with Klee. Viox seemed to not want to be around as much as she stated that Albedo and Klee should spend it together, as they were siblings and this is an opportunity to truly see Liyue for its beauty. Albedo had felt that it was unfair to the other, but she had brushed it off as she always did when it came to spending time with him. She didn't want to do it unless it was for research only he had come to find out. He knew he should have been somewhat bothered by that, but due to his situation, he was unable to feel bothered. So he let it go.
Albedo carefully placed another book away as he picked up the next one, the title was odd as it was newer in print. All of Viox's other books were highly used as the pages were yellowing or stained, maybe a small rip here and there. This although was new. His dull eyes looked over the cover, 'A Song in the Winds of Love' was the title that showed proudly. Albedo felt the need to at least look into the book as he flipped it over and read the back of it
"A Song in the Winds of Love, a light novel about a woman in love with her music partner. In this story, we see our main character Xinix go about her normal life until she meets her brand new music partner, Aynnie, a beautiful woman who knows her way around not only women but lutes as well. The spice between these two women comes to life as you read on to see their story."
Albedo blinked as he set the book down into the suitcase. Viox really did have an interesting taste in her light novels. Perhaps he should tell her that he too takes part in light novels, although as an artist and not a writer. His hands moved towards the next book as this one as well was new, it seemed as if Viox had done some book shopping for her home. He looked at the title of this one as he read it over, 'The Summer Rains'. So it appears that Viox had a thing for not only scientific studies, but romance as well. He set the book down as he didn't bother to look up when the Inn room door opened.
"Back so soon?" Albedo called out as the sounds of Klee and Viox entered.
"Not soon enough." Viox muttered out as she walked over to the closest bed and laid down on it.
"Miss Alexie talks too much." Klee said as she sat down on the floor next to her brother
Albedo looked over at the girls. Both looked so exhausted from their day out with Miss Alexie. "Did you all have fun?"
Viox snorted, "Ask Klee."
Albedo turned towards his sibling, who wore the face of someone who was angry
"Klee?"
"Miss Alexie wouldn't let us go fish blasting!"
Albedo could sense that these last few days were going to be tough.
