My dad walked into the room and he looked very mad. I was on my spider man themed bed. I love spider man a lot, I mean come on why not. Anyways my dad pulled up a chair and sat down. He looked me right in the eye with a stern face.
"Look, they know it was you, okay, so now what I want to know is why?," my dad asked me.
"I swear that wasn't me, I didn't do that," I insisted.
"Really, cause they caught it all on camera and it is very definitely you," my dad said as he pulled his phone out of his pocket. He showed me security footage of the mall just down the street and the person that was running out of the store with the jewellery was definitely me, or a person that looked exactly like me.
"I don't know who that is, I swear to fucking Christ that wasn't me."
"Watch your language, okay. Look you have caused a lot of trouble lately and the smartest and safest way out is prison."
"How many times do I have to say it, I didn't do it."
"Yes you did," my dad said even more angry now "you don't have an evil identical twin okay; it was you and because of that you will go to prison for six weeks." My dad got up and walked to the door he opened it and before he walked out he told me
"They will be here tomorrow morning to get you."
I lay in bed that night thinking to myself "How can I show them that wasn't me. There's no way to, they have the footage and probably some eye witnesses."
After about an hour of talking to myself I was convinced that the only way out of this mess was to run away from it. I packed my backpack with clothes and a water bottle. I made my way down stairs and to the back door then, I hesitated.
"Do I really want to do this?," I asked my self.
I walked out the door and went to the back yard to get my bike. As I walked pass my parents bedroom window I could hear my mom crying and my dad comforting her. I got on my bike and left. I went the opposite way of the mall with really no destination in mind. I just wanted to get away from my house. I stopped a couple blocks away from my house at a park and went to sleep. I woke up in the morning at about seven thirty. I wasn't sure what was happening at my house right now but what I did know was I didn't want to get caught because I knew that they had figured out that I was gone by now. I made it into the city and stopped at a Starbucks. I got some food and coffee and sat there for about a half hour thinking of what I should do.
"I've got him," someone behind me said.
"Shit shit shit!," I said to myself. I turned around to see a police man standing there with his radio in his hand.
"Don't try to run kid, there's no way out of this," he told me.
"Right," I said with a cocky voice. I turned and ran. The officer right behind me. I crossed the street and headed for the JC Penny's that was down the street.
"I can loose him in there," I told myself. I made it to the entrance and I could hear the cop shouting behind me. I didn't stop I ran into the store and up an escalator. The cop was still following me. I ran down the aisle of clothing ripping off jackets and shirts to try to loose the cop. It worked the police man tripped on a jacket and fell which gave me time to run up another escalator and duck behind some shelves. The cop ran up the escalator and looked around. He started to shout for me. The police man walked away from the escalator and me so I slipped down the escalator without him noticing. I went down to the first floor and made a break for the exit. I slipped out of the store without any trouble. I began to run down the street but cop cars came around the corner so I ducked into an ally way. One of the cops stopped right in front of the ally way entrance so I ran farther down the ally. I reached the end and realized that if they came down the ally I would be trapped. I looked for a way out, didn't find one. What I did find was this gross black ooze. It was on the lid of a trash bin. I moved to get a closer look. It had white lines on it.
"What is it," I asked myself.
Then immediately the ooze leaped at me. It landed on my chest and seeped into me. I panicked, then I passed out.
I woke up to someone saying
"Get up."
I looked around but no one was there.
"Hello Miles," a voice in my head said.
"I'm going crazy," I told myself.
"No you are not," it said.
Then the ooze formed out of me. This black and white goop came out of my back and wrapped around me. This face formed. Black with big white, tall eyes.
"Hello Miles," the mouth full of big sharp teeth said.
"What are you?" I asked it.
"I am Venom," it replied.
"What are you doing to me?"
"You are acting as my ride or my temporary home."
"Are you an alien?" I asked.
"If that's what you want to call me then fine but know that I control you. You work for me. Do it well enough and you might live."
"What am I doing for you?" I asked it a little worriedly.
"I have a leader in my kind, his name is Carnage. He not only wants to eat every living thing on this planet he wants to bring the other symbiotes to this planet."
"Other symbiotes?" I asked.
"Yes, a whole planet. The thing is, is we need a human host to live here on earth. Actually it does not need to be human but it does need to be a suitable host,like you, you are a suitable host Miles."
"What does that mean?" I asked nervously.
"It means that I can live here with you as a host and we are bind as one," it told me.
"Are you going to kill me?"
"If you die I will die."
Then this police car stopped in the ally entrance and an officer got out.
"Hey you stop!" he yelled at me.
"Time to go," Venom said.
Then it took control. I leaped at least 40 feet into the air.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed.
We landed on the wall. My hands and feet had turned into giant black limbs with claws that were made from the ooze. Than I broke into full sprint up the side of the sky scraper. Bounding up the wall; I was still screaming. We made it to the top and the ooze went away.
"Holy fucking shit," I said feeling sick.
"See what I can make you do Miles. Together we can stop Carnage."
"But I am not doing anything."
"Yes you are, the stronger you are, the stronger I am. Plus we work together."
"Uh oh," Venom said. And before I could ask what was wrong I heard a voice say
"Hey kid, what are you doing."
I turned around
"Spider man!" I said surprised.
"The police are all over the city looking for you."
"I swear I didn't do it."
"Do you know who did?" spider man asked me.
"No I don't."
"Do you have an identical twin or something?" he asked me.
"No I don't."
Spider man walked up to me.
"Well lets go to the cops and sort this out," he said calmly.
He grabbed my wrist and immediately the black ooze formed into a huge beast around me. He grabbed Spider man and threw him across the roof of the building.
"What the hell is that?" Spider man said.
"I am Venom," it said.
Spider man lunged at us to kick us. We rolled to the side then Venom shot a line of symbiote, like Spider man's webs, except thicker, and it hit Spider man right in the chest. It knocked Spider man of the skyscraper.
"Stop," I yelled at Venom.
"What?" he asked me.
"That is Spider man, he is a super hero and has saved the city multiple times. We can't fight him, let me do this." I told Venom.
"Fine," he replied and he seeped back into me.
Spider man jumped over the edge of the building and shot a web straight into my chest. And landing on the roof he yanked me forward of my feet onto my face. He shot a lot of webs across me that held me on the ground.
"What was that kid?" Spider man asked me.
"That was Venom." I answered.
"What is Venom?"
"Venom is a symbiote that came from a different planet. He is trying to stop a different symbiote called Carnage. Carnage wants to bring all the symbiotes from that planet to this. Once those symbiotes are here they will eat all living things. Other than their Hosts of course," I said.
"Wait, what hosts?" Spider man said confused.
"To live here a symbiote needs a host. A living thing that can keep it alive."
"So you are Venom's host."
"Yes I am. With out me Venom would die."
"So why don't we get him out of you?"
"I don't know how to and maybe he can help me figure out who robbed that store."
"I will help you," Venom said.
"Thank you." I said.
"What?" Spider man asked.
"Venom, I was talking to Venom."
"You can talk to him in your head?" Spider man asked confused.
"Yes I can."
"Uh, Venom a little help please?" I asked him.
"Sure."
Then Venom formed and stood up ripping Spider man's webs.
"Whats your name kid?" Spider man asked me. Venom's head formed back so my head stuck out.
"That's not creepy at all," Spider man said.
"My name is Miles, Miles Morales," I told him.
Then we jumped of the edge leaving Spider man very confused. Using the symbiote shot that we hit spider man with we swung from building to building eventually landing in front of a gas station. We scared some people when we landed but they just ran off. We formed back into me and went into the gas station. I went straight to the donuts and Mtn Dew Game Fuel.
"Whats a good place to start?" I asked Venom.
"We could start at Carlton Drake's business," he suggested.
"Why there?" I asked Venom.
"Because he is the one who brought us symbiotes to earth." he told me.
"How did he get you here?" I asked still confused.
"He went to space and visited our planet. He took us back here to experiment on us."
"How did you get out?"
"I was given the host Eddie Brock during testing. We went rogue and broke out together. But he went back to his life as a reporter so I left him. A few minutes later you walked up and became my host."
"Why was Eddie there in the first place?" I asked Venom having paid and exited the store.
"He volunteered, like everybody else there, he was promised a lot of money for being experimented on, after figuring out that the volunteers were being killed he wanted to get out. So I helped him."
"Why did you help him?"
"Because I knew of Carnage's plan, and I saw how we were killing most of the people tested."
"Why were you killing them?" I asked confused.
"We weren't doing it on purpose; if they weren't strong enough they would die."
"All right then let's go to Carlton Drake's place," I said enthusiastically.
We formed into Venom and launched into the air. We swung from building to building. 'This is what it feels like to be Spider man' I thought to myself. Not even five minutes later we were at Carlton's place.
"This is it?" I asked.
"Yep."
"Damn it's big, Alright how do we do this?"
"I could eat everybody," Venom said sounding a little excited.
"No! that's disgusting… I have an idea," I replied shaking my head.
We walked in the front doors of the giant company.
"Wow, he's right there, what are the odds," I said surprised.
"Let's eat him," Venom said enthusiastically.
"NO!, we have to talk to him," I said almost mad.
I walked up to Carlton, who was talking with one of his scientists.
"Sir," I said.
"Hello," he replied "Can I help you?" he asked as the scientist walked away.
"Yes, I am trying to create a scientific corporation of my own when I get older and I'm having troubles getting it started and I was wondering if you could give me some pointers?" I asked.
"Well you know the first and most important thing is, a cause. You want to have something to overcome, to understand," he told me.
"I also saw one of your rockets crash on the news and I was wondering if the little goop things that were moving around were aliens or something weird like that?" I asked trying to get the information that I wanted.
"Well I thank you for coming and I hope that I've helped and inspired you to do
great things and help the world in a positive way," Drake said as his face went a little red and he walked away.
"But you didn't answer my question," I called back at him.
"Goodbye kid," he called back at me.
"Well, that didn't go so well now did it," I said.
"Not really," Venom replied.
"He is definitely hiding something though, that's for sure," I said with confidence, "let's look around and see if we can find something."
We began walking around and I'm not gonna lie some of the stuff that was laying around looked pretty cool. Then I saw a door that had a sign on it that said employees only. The door was locked and needed a key card to be unlocked.
"Well that won't work," I said a little bummed.
"I could break it down," Venom suggested.
"No, we don't want to cause a scene… yet," I told him.
We kept walking around checking out some of the cool things that were there. I opened another door that was set back from everything else. There was a stair way leading down behind the door, so we went down it. At the bottom it opened up into a big room full of scientists at on computers. A door on the other side of the room opened and Carlton Drake walked through it but behind him there were these containers with the symbiotes in it being taken somewhere. Drake was walking over to the stairs so we had to hide somewhere and quick. SO we ducked behind these filing cabinets. After Drake went up stairs we began to sneak around the desks as quickly as we could.
"Hey, who are you," I heard a voice say. My blood ran cold.
"Hi, I'm lost," I tried to tell them "and because I thought I wasn't allowed down here I was hiding, hoping that I wouldn't get in trouble."
"Well come on, lets go and see if we can help you," the lady said, she was very nice.
"Whats in there," I asked pointing to the door hoping that she would leek something.
"Oh nothing," she said "Just a storage room," and with that we went up the stairs.
"Well thank you ma'am, I think I've got it from here," I told here as we reached the top.
"You sure?" she asked not sounding so sure.
"Yep I'll be fine, actually there are my parents right there," I lied.
"Okay, well enjoy the rest of your stay," she told me.
"Thank you ma'am."
I walked off toward the exit. Thinking to myself about how that failed.
"Well we know where they are now," Venom said optimistically.
"Yeah, now we just got to get there, that's the problem," I replied with a sigh.
"Leave that to me, okay," Venom told me.
And just like that we were swinging around the outside of the building, which by the way was huge. We came to a stop over one of the windows and peeked in. There were a lot of people on the other side so we decided to not smash through it. Then we went sprinting along the wall trying to get to the back hoping there would be a way in on that side. We arrived at the back and we began to walk towards the entrance when I heard my name.
"Miles," someone shouted from behind me. At this point we were in my form and not in Venom form.
"Who are you," I said turning around. There he was. My evil look alike.
"Who the fuck are you," I yelled at him.
"We are Miles Morales," he replied.
"NO," I shouted "I am Miles Morales, you are some piece of shit who has been getting me into a lot of trouble lately."
"Why do you think I am doing these things?" fake Miles asked.
"I don't know, cause your some fucked up psychopath," I yelled at him "How do you even look like me you're not my twin."
"Well time for me to go," he said and took off running.
"We'll deal with that piece of crap later," Venom said, "for now lets just focus on finding those symbiotes."
"Okay," I replied with some heat. He was right.
We walked in the back door, which was unlocked thankfully, and we were in this anteroom with lab coats and hats and shoes laying around. Through the window on the door we saw scientists walking around in and out of doors in this weird hallway. We threw on a lab coat and walked down the hallway like we owned the place. We peeked in the first door and saw tubes of some form of liquid on racks and there were a lot of them. We moved on to the next and then the next door none of them having what we were looking for. At the end of the hallway we came out back into a public place. There was a door to the right of us. It had a key card lock in it but luckily our lab coat came with a key card of Dr. Skirth. We walked over to the door and I swiped the key card through the slot and the door zipped open. We walked through and there were a lot of scientists doing all sorts of different things. We started walking down through the room looking at everything in that giant room. Then I saw a cart at the end of the room that had tubes on it. In the tubes were weird ooze things.
"That's it," Venom said.
"Alright then," I replied as we began to walk toward them. We went through the door that had a key card slot but for some reason just opened as we got there. Through the door there were several test chambers that had people in them.
"There he is, that is the chamber with Carnage," Venom told me. We walked over there and inside the chamber was one of those tubes with ooze in it. This ooze was red.
"Why is he still here?" I wondered.
"He is waiting for Carlton to launch another expedition to our planet and he is going to hitch a ride; and he won't get very far without a host."
"Makes sense, I guess," I replied.
"Incoming," Venom said. Then immediately a voice behind me said:
"Hey, your not permitted here," they said as they turned me around. 'Security guards' I noted.
"Dr. Skirth, you've changed," they said as they saw my face and key card. The main guy pointed a gun at me.
"Who are you?" he asked me.
"I got this," Venom said. And before I could say anything Venom threw the main guy into the wall and punched the other two. The main guard got up and started to shoot at me. Most of the bullets hit Venom and didn't do anything but the few that missed did a lot of damage. They broke equipment and containment chambers. Venom leaped at him and picked him up. With his super long tongue Venom licked the dudes face. Then we got shot in the back. Throwing the main bald guy, again we turned around to find a different security guard there with a shotgun. He shot us again and nothing happened. Venom picked up the dude and with one gulp ate the guard. The other guard had some form of machine gun and he let it rip. A lot of bullets went flying around as Venom jumped around trying to dodge the bullets. Then Venom dive-tackled the guy and bit his head off and threw the body against the wall. We turned around and the other guy was gone. There were alarms going off around the whole facility and a lot of people screaming. But there was a bigger problem. Carnage's testing chamber had been broken in the fight and Carnage wasn't here. There were also other dead bodies on the floor that had been shot by the guards.
"God fucking damn it," I yelled, "well now what do we do."
"Through that door," Venom told me.
I walked through the door and it took us to a hallway. At the end of the hallway a door had just closed. I took off sprinting down the hallway and came crashing through the door and it took us outside. I looked up and to the right to see a big red 'Venom' looking symbiote climbing up the wall. It smashed through a window on the sixth floor.
"Carnage," Venom said.
Then we jumped onto the wall and started to climb very fast. We went through the window that Carnage had gone through and when we went through there was a dead security guard on the floor; one from the gun fight just moments ago. Just as we got there we saw Carnage sink into Carlton Drake's body. He formed into
Carnage as he turned around. Carnage was a bigger symbiote then Venom by almost an entire foot. He was big and looked like Venom but instead of being black and white, he was red and black.
"Venom," Carnage said, "Now we are ready. Now we can finally go to our planet and get our brethren."
"No!" Venom replied, "We won't let you destroy this planet."
"Get to the rocket Venom," Carnage yelled at us.
"No, we will not let you leave this planet alive."
"Whoa! Who's this other guy?" Spider man asked as he jumped through the broken window.
Carnage shot a line of symbiote into Spider man's chest and he want flying out the already smashed window.
"If you ain't gonna work with me then I guess I will just do it myself," Carnage told me.
Carnage tried to shoot us but, we were able to jump out of the way and out the window at the same time. I landed next to Spider man who had just gotten up.
"So, who was that?" Spider man asked.
"That was Carnage," Venom said, "Tried to warn you about him."
"I know, and I listened," Spider man reassured me, "I did some investigating of my own and I found out some stuff. Carlton Drake has been killing people experimenting with these goop things."
"Hey!" Venom said not being to happy to be called a goop thing. Then we shrunk back into me.
"That still looks weird," Spider man said.
"They are symbiotes, not goop things," I told him.
"Symbiotes, got it."
"Anyways, you were saying something about Drake killing people," I pushed.
'Oh, yeah, so, he is killing people trying to, well, do what you did. He calls it complete symbiosis."
"That's what Venom told me," I said.
"So he has explained everything to you?" Spider man asked.
"Well mostly everything," I said.
"Right so if we find Carlton Drake we should find a way to stop Carnage," Spider man said excitedly.
"There's going to be a problem with that," I said.
"Why?" Spider man asked confused.
"Well, Carnage, yeah, he is Carlton Drake," I said.
"What!" Spider man said, "really?"
"Yeah."
"That is going to be a problem," Spider man said almost sounding sarcastic.
"Yeah, he is really big and really strong," I said sighing.
"Looks like we are going to have to work together to stop him," Spider man told me.
Just then I saw my evil identical twin. He was inside the building looking out through a window and it looked like he was trying to tell me something. I couldn't make out anything he said.
"You okay?" Spider man asked.
"Yeah," I said realizing I had just been ignoring him. I looked back towards the window and evil me was gone.
"You sure?" he asked not sounding convinced.
"Tell him," Venom told me.
"No,I'm not telling him anything," I replied to Venom.
"Telling me what?" Spider man asked.
"Nothing," I said.
"Keeping secrets isn't going to help." He told me.
"It doesn't matter"
"Anyway, Carnage," Spider man said.
"Yeah."
"How are we going to stop him?" Spider man asked.
"I'm not sure," I replied.
"If he is going for his rocket, all we got to do is takedown that rocket," Venom said.
"But how?" I asked him.
"What?" Spider man asked. I just nodded at him.
"I don't know maybe blow it up," Venom said sounding excited.
"That could work," I replied with some hope.
"You wouldn't happen to have an RPG, would you?" I asked Spider man.
"An RPG? What? No I don't have an RPG," Spider man said.
"Okay well there goes that idea," I said.
"You know I can't hear what Venom says in your head so I have no idea what you're talking about," Spider man told me sounding annoyed.
"Sorry," I said, "Wait, I have an Idea that could help with this." Venom formed out of my back into his head like he did in the ally way.
"What the hell," Spider man said, "There is just no end to the weird shit Venom can do, is there?"
"Not really," Venom said.
"Whoa!" Spider man said.
"See, now you can hear both of us," I said happy that that problem was solved.
"If we can stop Drake's rocket we can stop him from leaving this planet," Venom said.
""Okay, that makes sense," Spider man agreed, "but how do we stop it?"
"An RPG," I said.
"Oh, okay, that all makes sense now," Spider man reassured us. Just then my phone rang. I pulled it out of my pocket to check who it was. 'Gwen Stacy,' it said.
"Hold on, I need to take this," I told Spider man.
"Hey, Gwen," I said, "What's up?"
"Miles, hey," She replied, "I need your help on our project, think you can come by some time tomorrow?"
"Sure, somewhere around six sound good?" I asked.
"In the afternoon?"
"Yeah, yeah, afternoon, of course."
"Sure, see you then," she said then, hung up.
"Who's that?" Spider man asked.
"That was Gwen Stacy. She's my lab partner," I told him.
"How old are you?" Spider Man asked.
"I'm 17," I said.
"Wow, I'm 21," Spider man said.
"Cool," I told him.
"How long have you known Gwen?" he asked.
"I've known her since 5th grade, been pretty good friends since, she's pretty cool."
"Nice, what did she want?" Spider man asked curiously.
"She wants to hang out tomorrow at her place, go over some stuff for school," I told him.
"Cool, but, um, Carnage?" Spider man asked like he wasn't sure if I was just giving up.
"Yeah, I guess we just wait and blow up his rocket then, I guess," I told him not really sure what the plan was.
"I don't think waiting is a good idea," Spider man told us.
"Why?" Venom asked still as a head by my side.
"Because if we mess up and he gets off the planet it's game over."
"True," I said.
"We don't make mistakes," Venom said.
"Really?" Spider man said with an attitude, "Miles here just made a big mistake."
"What?" I said wondering if I had said something wrong to him.
"Robbed a store and got caught, kinda a big mistake."
"Really!?" I said shocked, "You know that wasn't me!"
"No I don't," Spider man said also sounding shocked, "All I have that says it wasn't you, is your word. That's it. There are cameras that prove it is you."
"I thought you were on my side," I said actually offended.
"Your side, Miles, there isn't a side, you robbed the store, that's that. Why you did it is a different story, but you robbed the store, do you know what that makes you?" Spider man asked me.
"Don't say it."
"A thief. I catch thieves. Its my job. So I have to catch you," Spider man said.
"So you've been pretending to work with me just to catch me?" I asked sad and really pissed of.
"I want to catch Carnage okay, same as you," Spider man said almost sounding empathetic.
"No! No you don't. you want to put me in prison for something I didn't do," now I was really pissed off.
"Okay. One - you did do it. Two - How do I even know if you are actually against Carnage. What if you are working with him and just pretending to work with me, huh?" Spidey said.
"It's called trust," I tried to tell him.
"Trust, Miles I don't know you. All I know about you is that you robbed a store and that some weird goop thing took control of you," Spider man told me.
"First off, I didn't rob the god damn store. Secondly He is not a 'goop thing.' He is a symbiote."
And with that I formed into Venom. We punched at Spider man but he jumped back onto a wall.
"Miles! Stop!," he yelled at us.
We lunged at him but we just smashed into the wall because he was able to jump out of the way. At this point there were police officers coming out of the doors and security was arriving. There were a lot of guns pointing at us.
"What is that!" one officer yelled.
"Stay back," Spider man yelled at the arriving forces.
"What's going on here, Spider man," One of the officers asked.
"And what is that thing," another asked.
"I don't know what it is. What I do know is that it is very dangerous and will kill you if you provoke it," Spider man told the officers.
"Provoke us?," Venom yelled, "You already did that."
We lunged at Spider man again this time faster than he could react. We tackled him onto the ground then picked him up and threw him through the wall into the building.
"Fire!" the commanding police officer yelled.
Bullets started to whiz by our head some even hitting Venom not doing very much damage. We dove at one officer and smashed him into his car. Jumped at another and smacked him so hard his torso ripped off his legs. We ripped the door off the cop car next to us and threw it at two officers standing by a different car. It impaled the two officers into their car. Then Spider man jumped back out of the building.
"Miles, stop! This won't fix anything," He yelled at us.
We jumped onto the wall of the building and started to bound up the side of it. We got to the top and broke into a full sprint. When we reached the other end of the building we jumped off it as far as we could. We landed in the river beneath the Golden Gate Bridge and swam off at a very fast speed.
We hid at the dock all night and most of the rest of that day seeing several searching crews out looking for us. At this point it was about 5:30 in the afternoon.
"Are we still going to Gwen's place," Venom asked trying to remind me that I was supposed to be there in a half-hour.
"Oh yeah," I said actually pretty excited. I don't know what it was but, I could actually talk with Gwen. And she always knew how to help me and get me to calm down if something went wrong. Like when my friend Ganke died she was really the only person, other than my parents, to help get me through that tough time. Can't really blame Ned though, he was on vacation with his family at the time. Anyway, I decided to head over.
We arrived there at her parents house and knocked on the front door. The door swung open and there was Gwen with a big smile on her face. She was wearing very tight clothes. She had yoga pants on that hugged her legs tightly and she had this tight crop top shirt on. She opened the door and gave me a big hug.
"Miles," she shouted excitedly.
"Gwen, hi," I replied a little nervously.
"You okay?" she asked.
"Have you seen the news?" I asked her.
"About you? Yes," she told me.
"And?"
"And, I don't care right now. Right now you need to come inside and relax,"she said as she pushed me inside.
"We got the house to ourselves for the night," she told me happily.
She directed me inside and to the couch.
"Here, sit down and chill a minute."
"Thanks," I replied. She went into the kitchen and started making something in there.
"You hungry?" she called out to me.
"Yeah actually, I am," I told her.
She came out of the kitchen and stood in front of me. She was now just in her panties and bra. Her body looked like it was handmaid by a god. She had the perfect figure. She also had a PB&J sandwich in one hand.
"I got peanut butter and jelly or pussy. Your choice," she said. I took the pussy. It was great. Once we finished we relaxed the rest of the evening and watched some Netflix.
The next morning came around and I didn't want to leave; but I knew I had to. I said goodbye to Gwen and that I hoped that I would get to see her soon and then left. It wasn't long before I ran into Spider man. He jumped down right in front of me. A couple cop cars came around the corner.
"Hey Miles," Spider man said.
"Get away from me dude," I yelled at him.
"This is getting dangerous and innocent people are getting hurt," he told me.
"If you would leave me alone no one would be getting hurt!"
"Look, there is no way out of this. Either you come with us and try to sort this out, or eventually we catch you and you spend the rest of your life in prison for the murder of three police officers, and the theft of jewellery from the mall," he tried to reason with me.
"If you had never come along the officers would never have been there and they would not have been killed," I yelled at him. At this point there were several cop cars around us all with guns pointed at us.
"Miles, this is not my fault. You killed those officers and you robbed the mall."
"I told you that it wasn't me!"
"Sure, but the camera said otherwise and so did everyone else, okay. It was you, admit it, cause we all know it," Spidey said trying to get me to give in.
"You know what," I started.
"Miles, don't do this. You're still young and have a life in front of you. Don't mess that up," Spider man said sounding very sincere.
"I don't need your help or anyone elses," I told him, "Venom!"
"Miles no!" Spider man shouted at me.
"Fire!" the police shouted and started firing at me. I had formed into Venom and ran up the building next to us with Spider man on our tale.
We got to the top of the building and stopped. We waited for Spider man to come up. He jumped over the edge of the building and landed right in front of us. Venom punched him right in the chest. He went flying off the edge of the building and started to fall. We took off and ran the other way jumping from building to building. We finally reached Central Park and landed somewhere near a fountain. We formed into me and started to walk around.
"What the fuck are we gonna do?" I asked myself.
"Find out who stole the jewellery," Venom told me.
"We also need to stop Carlton Drake!" I reminded him.
"I think we need to get you out of this deep shit first," He told me.
"Well if we don't stop Drake, there will be no shit to get me out of," I told him.
"Sounds like a win-win to me," Venom said, "We don't do anything and we don't get in any trouble."
"No we need to do something," I insisted, "We got to do both of them, but which one first."
"Conveniently, Drake's rocket is supposed to launch tonight," Venom informed me.
"Then we stopping that first."
We managed to stay off the grid for the rest of the day. At around six P.M. we arrived at Drake's place. And we saw the rocket ship off in the distance.
"Let's find a way to destroy it," I said.
"Rupture the fuel tank, that should stop it," Venom said.
"Good, then we'll do that," I stated.
"We do need to be careful, because Drake is most likely here, with Carnage," Venom reminded me.
"Right, let's go."
We made our way to the rocket with much ease. It was very large. Venom ripped a pole out of the ground.
"We should be able to stab the tank with this," Venom said.
"Why would you want to do that?" A deep Venom-like voice said behind us.
We quickly turned around to see Carnage standing above us on a platform.
"It's not too late Venom, you can still come with us," Carnage said trying to convince us to go with them.
"No, we will not let you destroy this planet!" Venom told Carnage.
"Fine then!"
Carnage leaped at us and kicked us about three yards backwards. We rolled out of it and back on to our feet. Carnage jumped at us again. This time we rolled to the side. Carnage jumped at us for a third time, we baseball batted him out of the air to our left side. Immediately we leapt up on to the rocket and began running up the side of it. Suddenly we rolled to our left. Carnage smashed onto the rocket where we had been. He formed a club out of his hand and swung at us. We jumped up above us and let him smash his rocket even more. We then jumped onto Carnage's back and tried to stab him in the throat with a blade formed out of Venom's hand. Carnage formed a blade out of his elbow and stabbed us in the stomach before we could stab him in the throat.
"Ahhh," we yelled as we fell to the ground.
Carnage dropped to the ground in front of us and grabbed both our shoulders. He started to pull us apart. We kicked him in the crotch; he was unfazed. Forming a blade out of our foot we kick him in the crotch again.
"Grhhh," Carnage yelled as he dropped us and dropped to a knee. We landed on our feet and punched Carnage in the face. He rolled backwards about a yard before getting back onto his feet. Carnage formed a mace out of his hand and quickly swung it at us. It hit us directly in the side and sent us flying. We slammed into the wall of a big shed. Carnage slammed into us sending both of us into the shed. We quickly jumped up and grabbed Carnage. We threw him through the other side of the shed. Me and Venom ran back to the rocket. We jumped onto the rocket and ran up the side of it. We got to the top and looked down. Carnage was bounding his way up the side. We began to punch the window of the rocket ship in an attempt to break in. Carnage landed in front of us. We leapt at him and tackled him off the side of the rocket. As we fell towards the ground I had an idea.
"We can to destroy the fuel tank."
"Great idea," Venom said.
We both landed on our feet. Carnage ripped this thick pole out of the ground and shoved right into our chest. This sent us flying into the river. This river runs under the Golden Gate bridge, which is right next to Drake's place. As we resurfaced in the river we saw Carnage running up the side of the rocket. By the time we got back onto land Carnage was already in the rocket. The rocket began to fire up and was about to take off. We grabbed the thick pole that Carnage had hit us with and we threw it into the fuel tank. The pole penetrated the fuel tank which started leaking fuel. The fuel dripped from the tank and into the flames shooting out of the engines of the rocket. This caused an explosion which blew up the whole rocket. After I regained consciousness I was back in my form and Spider Man was standing above me. He was talking to an EMT. I was laying on the ground but there was a stretcher right next to me. I sat up holding my head.
"There he is," Spider Man said noticing that I was now conscious.
"I told you he would be okay," Spidey said to the EMT.
"What?" is all I managed to utter.
"You blew up the rocket and took a pretty big hit in the process," Spider Man informed me.
"Oh," I replied still very dazed.
"Venom?" I said trying to talk to him. There was no reply.
"Venom?" I panicked.
"It's okay Miles," Spider man said, "They got him."
"What!"
"The scientists dudes they got him and locked him back into those tube thingies," Spider Man informed me, "They are going to be sending them back into space because they most definitely do not belong here."
"No!" I yelled at him, "You can't take Venom." at this point I got up and began to run towards the building.
"Kid," Spider Man yelled at me. He shot a web into my back and stopped me.
"Stop, you can't get him back," Spidey tried to convince me.
"I can, and I will. He is part of me now."
"Miles, He's dead. Venom died," Spider Man said.
"No! How do you know?" I yelled beginning to cry.
"When I got here the goop thing was next to you burnt up on the ground,"Spider Man told me heavy-heartedly.
"No," I said now crying. The EMT now grabbed me and insisted that I go to the hospital. They put me in the ambulance and took me to the hospital. After a thorough review they learned that I was totally fine.
About two weeks later I had to appear in court. Turns out Spider Man did a lot of digging and figured out that I was telling the truth about Carnage and how he wanted to destroy the world. I received a month in Juvie for the robbing of the mall which, I still could not convince anybody that I did not do. My sentence could have been a lot worse all things considered so I happily did one month. After I got out of Juvie I was forced to go live with my parents again. While it was nice to see them, I was planning to leave again. Everybody in high-school had broken into groups. There were some people that avoided me because they were scared I would eat them. And there were others who thought the opposite. They thought it was super cool and would not leave me alone. Most of them understood that Venom was a symbiote and that he was gone so no one expected me to do any special tricks. I was still struggling to believe that Venom was dead, however, and I wanted to confirm that myself. But right now I had another date with Gwen.
