A war scythe or military scythe is a form of pole weapon with a curving single-edged blade with the cutting edge on the concave side of the blade. Its blade bears some superficial resemblance to that of an agricultural scythe from which it likely evolved, but the war scythe is otherwise unrelated to agricultural tools and is a purpose-built infantry melee weapon.

Viox sat up a little, looking towards the voice that asked the question. Kaeya was standing in front of the bench, his arms crossed, but his face was relaxed.

"Kaeya?" She questioned, he was supposed to be working tonight. He had asked Viox for a dance on the last day, though Viox wasn't sure if she wanted to accept the offer or not. He had asked her a few days ago, but she asked to give her time to think about it.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were working up till tomorrow night?" She asked

"Violet gave me the rest of the night off tonight. So I came to find you. Do you have a moment?" Kaeya replied

Viox looked towards Albedo, "I'm in the middle of dancing with Albedo, can this wait until afterwards?"

"I'm sure Knight Albedo won't mind that I merely request your company for a short while. Do you Knight Albedo?" Kaeya looked towards the Golem

Albedo shook his head a little, "I do not mind. We were merely resting until the next dance started up."

Viox sighed through her nose as she stood up, "Alright, as long as you're sure Albedo." Though she really didn't want to leave the other alone after all, they had agreed to spend tonight together, they had a few theories that they bounced around at dinner earlier, but Viox really wanted to spend more time with the other.

"Go on ahead. I will wait here until you return." Albedo commented, although his voice was the same monotone sound, showing that the other was not bothered and couldn't really be bothered.

Viox nodded, "Lead the way." She stated, looking at Kaeya.

Kaeya had led them to a quiet area, away from the crowds, although their sounds were a dull roar in the background. Viox knew what he was planning on doing. She took a deep breath, letting it out.

"Alright. Spill it. You've been acting strange since you've gotten back Viox. You've never been this tense around me. What's going on?" Kaeya asked, taking a moment to lean up against one of the building's walls. His eye was watching the other.

Viox shrugged, "I'm not sure what you are talking about Kaeya. I haven't acted weird at all."

"That's a bold face lie and you know it. What makes you so tense around me?" Kaeya crossed his arms, "Friends don't lie to each other, and yet here you are, not telling the truth to your closest friend."

Viox huffed as she crossed her arms as well, "It's nothing! You're the one that's been acting all weird!"

Kaeya raised a brow, "I've been my normal self. I'm not sure about you though."

"Well blame Master Diluc!" Viox snapped, "He told me you got drunk one night and wanted to ask me to Windblume, next my own sister said that you were going to as well! I've waited a week biting at my nails to see if it was true and guess what! Nothing but disappointment over here buddy."

Viox took a deep breath, "You've known for years that I've liked you. You knew. I know you have, yet you've never said anything, never. I don't know why I got my hopes up so much when I knew you would never ask."

"That's because I wanted to hear it from you."

Viox swallowed, biting back the urge to cry from pure embarrassment, "Well you heard it. Nothing new there. What do you also want my undying love for you too?"

Kaeya chuckled, "I already have that too."

"In your dreams." Viox rolled her eyes

"As long as you're there, it's good enough for me."

Viox sighed, "now that you have my confession, what else did you want to talk about? How you're going to deny my feelings and forget this happened?"

"Not quite. I was going to ask about our dear friend Knight Albedo." Kaeya tilted his head, "What are your feelings towards our lovely Chief Alchemist?"

Viox frowned, "We are merely friends."

"That's interesting, seeing since he has a jealousy thing about you and other men."

"You can be jealous of other people, Kaeya. It's a normal reaction."

"Yeah but what if I told you I was also jealous that you're spending all your time with him instead of with me?"

Viox narrowed her eyes in confusion, "Kaeya why in all of Teyvat, would you be jealous?"

Kaeya looked down at his feet, "I don't want to talk about it."

"Then there's no reason for you to be jealous."

"Yes there is, I just, I just want to know how you feel about him." Kaeya replied back

"He's my friend."

"But he's more to you than that isn't he?"

"What do you mean?"
"Viox, do you like him?"

"Yes, but what does this have to do with anything?"

"Because I'm trying to see if you want to court me! I can't have my courtier in love with someone else!" Kaeya snapped

Viox froze

"Well? Are you in love with Knight Albedo or not?" Kaeya asked

Viox couldn't breathe. All the air in her lungs suddenly vanished at that question. She took a step back away from Kaeya's form. Did she love Albedo and not Kaeya anymore? She didn't know. She couldn't answer.

"What is your answer Viox?"
