A military fork is a pole weapon which was used in Europe between the 15th and 19th centuries. Like many polearms, the military fork traces its lineage to an agricultural tool, in this case the pitchfork. Unlike a trident used for fishing, the military fork was rarely barbed and normally consisted only of two tines (prongs) which were straight compared to the original pitchfork.
"Humans are complex things. They are created by men in the womb of a woman. They are the most chaotic thing in this world. They can rage wars, make peace, create food, harvest, and even feel emotions. Emotions are not of importance for us. We are the new form, the Alpha of the Races. We are Alchemists. We can create life without the need to procreate with another being. We are the new and Humans? They are the old. Not even the Archons can stop us."
Maroon colored eyes looked at his Master with curiosity, "Master, shouldn't we fear the Archons? Don't they have powers beyond those with Visions?"
"No my Creation. The Archons are not as creative as we. Not even Morax can stop this. He created life within itself. I am that creation. Though I may not have the gold that purely runs through your veins. I am Morax's greatest weakness and worst fear." Rhinedottir smiled
The smile made the other shiver in fear though. He did not understand why his Master was so cruel to this world. It was the one thing that held so many treasures and stories. Though he was currently stuck on this icy cold mountain since his birth, he did not mind traveling around it.
"And what about emotions? Master, isn't it normal to feel those?" He asked once more
"Emotions are of no use to you. Even if you had any, you would be in despair just like many others before you. Emotions should be thrown away." Rhinedottir spat
Maroon colored eyes watched from their perch as the group entered Dragonspine. The woman with the pink hair, the young child, and him. The eyes narrowed. He was returning to Dragonspine after all this time away? Just as the other had gotten comfortable roaming without the need to hide.
"A pity isn't it Albedo? You may just find yourself in trouble. I hope you can prove me wrong." The eyes watched as the group walked around in the snow following the trail up to Albedo's campsite.
"You are the better version of me. The experiment that didn't first test has begun. Let's see how fast you can find me," The Maroon eyes watched as Albedo's face turned up towards them. The eyes smirked, "Albedo."
Viox giggled as a snowflake landed on Klee's nose. It had quickly melted afterwards, but it did cause the younger one to sneeze. "A bit chilly here isn't it Klee?" She asked
"Lots! It's so pretty as well!" Klee squealed out happily as she darted a head to the nearest snow pile.
Viox chuckled, "Klee be careful! We still need to make it up to Albedo's campsite!" She called, smiling more as Klee squealed louder with pure happiness to be playing in the snow.
"Good thing she rarely gets sick, I'd be concerned about her health on this trip." Albedo commented
Viox rolled her eyes, "He speaks. Oh great Golem what knowledge was scrambling on in that brain of yours that got you so quiet today?" She teased lightly, bumping shoulders with the other
Albedo blinked, "It's nothing much. An odd gut feeling as one would call it. Come along, let's get to camp before it gets dark. The monsters are more active at night."
Viox nodded, "Klee! We have to go now!"
"Coming!"
Getting to camp wasn't all that much trouble. Albedo had carried both his trunk and Klee's while hiking up the mountain, and Viox carried her's. Though something about her being able to carry the heavy item came to a small surprise to Albedo and they carefully made their way across the broken bridge. Albedo had used one of his Transient Blossoms to make a connector of sorts to help all three of them across. Rarely did he have to use one, as he would normally just use his windgilder to help himself across.
They had made it to the campsite fairly easy. Albedo had come across the large cave many years ago when he first walked onto the icy mountain. It was large enough to hold all his laboratory equipment as well as many bookshelves. Towards the very back of the cave, he had set up a few makeshift rooms. It was mostly a small cot piled with a few furs to keep off the cold ground. He had two others set up as well for Sucrose when she came to visit, as well as Timaeus when Albedo needed help with some research.
"Wow. You have such a large camp!" Viox exclaimed as Klee already darted inside to get out of the cold elements. Viox was taking her time as there were many more glass bottles and vials littered everywhere from in crates that had yet to be touched, or some holding different shades of many different colors. What really caught her eyes was the large golden metal and glass container. It had a swirling green smoke or water inside as it had a low hum that buzzed through the campsite. The noise wasn't horribly loud, but it was enough to hear that whatever it was, it was active and going.
"So this is where you hide out?" Viox asked
"Most of the time. Though it is mostly when I am researching of course." Albedo commented, placing his and Klee's trunks down near the back, "Though I can assume you are merely jesting at me?"
Viox chuckled, "Yes I'm teasing you."
"I see. This teasing you do. I've noticed you do it a lot with everyone you are close to personally. Is it a type of affection?" Albedo leaned up against his large work bench.
"You seem in a very chatty mood. I'm going to guess that it's because you feel more at ease here than anywhere else." Viox replied, dodging the question with ease
Albedo noticed this as he cleared his throat, "I am merely more curious now. I wasn't as curious as before. I will admit, being here in Dragonspine is more like home than Mondstadt. I don't not have the need to hide myself as I've been doing. I believe it is called 'opening up' although I am unsure."
Viox smiled, "Well it's a nice change I will say. Anyways, yes, teasing is a form of affection passed between two people who are close in friendship terms.
"So we are 'close' as you say?" Albedo questioned
"Yes, I believe we are good friends."
