Chapter 61 Cubby's the winner
Cubby's POV
As I was doing my job, PJ came up to me.
"Hey Cubby, I just want to tell you that you've earned 150 dollars." PJ said to me.
" Thanks PJ!" I said to him as I hugged him.
"You're welcome!" PJ said to me.
Jake's POV
As Izzy and I were having our breakfast, we saw Princess playing with her food.
"Aww look Jakey Princess is playing with her food.
"I'm watching Izzy." I said to her.
"I remember Cubby doing this when he was a baby." Izzy said to me.
" Yeah, me too Izzy." I said to her.
"But this is about our daughter now Izzy, Cubby is at work." I said to her.
"Oh, yeah!" Izzy said to me.
As I putted my plate in the dishwasher, I came back to the dinning room and saw that princess was now making a mess with her food.
"Princess really?" I asked her as she just giggled.
"Izzy we're going to have to give princess a bath." I said to her as she was swallowing her food.
"Oh okay Jakey." Izzy said to me.
As I picked up Princess and Izzy went to go grab her rubber ducky, I turned the water on to warm.
"Warm Daddy." Process said to me.
"Yes Princess warm water." I said to her.
"Princess I got your rubber ducky!" Izzy said to her as she placed her rubber ducky in the bathtub.
"Rubber ducky you're the one." Izzy sang the song.
"No please do not sing that song." I said to her.
" Boo get off the bathroom stage Jake." Izzy said to me.
"No." I said to her.
"Well I tried." Izzy said to me.
As we both started to wash Princess, she was having fun in the water.
"Hey Princess having fun in the bathtub?" I asked her as she nodded her head.
"Good!" Izzy said to her.
As Princess was splashing the water in giggly way, we both got water on ourselves.
"Hey hey stop Princess." We both said to her as she kept on splashing the water.
"Princess, stop!" I said to her as she stopped.
"Whoopsie sorry Mommy sorry Daddy." Princess said to us
"That's okay sweetie, next time try to splash gently so you won't get us wet." Izzy said to her as she nodded her head.
As we were scrubbing princess with soap she was having the time of her adorable little life.
"Looks like Princess is having fun Jakey." Izzy said to me.
"Yeah, she is having fun Izzy." I said to her.
Cubby's POV
As I came home, I went to the bathroom where Jake and Izzy were washing Princess.
"Hey, guys!" I said to them.
"Hey, Cubby how was work? And where my two hundred buck?" Jake asked me.
" Work was good, and you'll get your two hundred bucks soon." I said to him.
"Yeah, Jake don't rush him." Izzy said to him.
"Sorry, bit I want my two hundred bucks Izzy." Jake said to her.
"And you'll get it, just give me time." I said to him.
"Okay, Cubby." Jake said to me.
Jake's POV
As Izzy and we're fine washing Princess, Izzy wrapped in a princess in a purple towel.
"So, everyone gets their phones back today." Jake said to us.
Oh cool! So, who won Jake?" Izzy asked me.
" Well, definitely not you. So, the winer once again is Cubby Izzy!" I said to her.
" Sweet I win again? What's my price Jake?" Cubby asked me.
"Chocolate cake!" I said to him.
"Yay! Chocolate cake!" Cubby said to me with excitement.
" Oh come on, it's not far. How come, Cubby gets chocolate Cake, and I get nothing? Jake you know I love chocolate cake." Izzy asked me.
" Well for starters, you keep trying to get your phone witch we had to start the competition over again, three times. So your losing prize is you are going to clean the entire hideout." I said to her.
"What?" Izzy asked me.
" You heard me Missy. Get to cleaning Cinderella!" I said to her as I handed her a bucket of soapy water, a mop and a list of thing that need to be cleaned.
"But Jake, I want chocolate cake." Izzy said to me.
"Awe sorry, you lost the competition, so you get to clean the whole hideout from head, to toe." I said to her.
"Now, hand me Princess, so you can start your cleaning. Whike the winner gets to have chocolate cake." I said to her as she passed me princess and Cubby and I went to the kitchen.
"Jake, does this involve me and cubbies bed?" Izzy asked me.
"Yes you need to change our bed sheets." I said to her.
Izzy's POV
As I went into the living room, I started to vacuum the rug.
"I really wanted that chocolate cake I should have been the winner not Cubby." I said to myself.
Cubby's POV
As I was enjoying my chocolate cake, Jake was playing with Princess.
"Hey, Jake this cake is really delicious, thanks!" I said to him.
"Hey, your welcome Cubby, you deserved it." Jake said to me.
"I WANTED THAT CAKE, CUBBY SHOULDN'T DESERVE IT!" Izzy yelled across the hall.
"Oh keep cleaning Izzy." Jake said to her.
As I was still eating my cake, Princess started to cry.
"Oh way to go Izzy, you made Princess cry." I said to her.
" SO I DON'T CARE! ALL I CARE IS THAT I WANT THAT CAKE!" Izzy yelled across the hall again.
" I'll go talk to her, Cubby. Can you calm your niece down?" Jake asked me.
"Sure, Jake." I said to him as he handed Princess to me.
Jake's POV
As I went into the living room, I saw Izzy vacuuming the rug.
"Hey, what is your problem?" I asked her.
"I really want that cake Jake." Izzy said to me.
"Sorry, but you lost so you get to clean the whole hideout." I said to her.
"But, cleantiv is boring." Izzy said to me.
"Look, Izzy I know you want the chocolate cake, but you need to understand that you lost the competition." I said to her.
" I do understand Jake." Izzy said to me.
"Oh really, what do you understand?" I asked her.
" I understand that the competition was stupid." Izzy said to me.
"Really, Izzy." I said to her.
"Wow, I thought you would understand that you lost." I said to her.
Cubby's POV
As I was trying to calm my niece down, she stated to get fussy.
"Hey, Princess sweetie calm down for your Uncle Cubby." I said to her as she was trying to calm down but it was hard for her.
"Princess, what's the matter?" I asked her as she was pointing at her gums.
"Oh your tooth is coming in that's why you're crying.
So I got up and went over to Jake and Izzy.
"Hey guys I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation, but the reason why princess is crying, is because her tooth is coming in." I said to them.
"Oh that can hurt bad." Jake said to me.
"Tell me about it." I said to him.
"How bad can your first tooth be?" Izzy asked us.
"It hurts really bad. You start crying, you start teething on everything then after you know it, the first tooth comes out painfully. Anyone experienced it even you Izzy." Jake said to her.
"I don't remember that, but I do remember that it was painful Jake." Izzy said to him.
Izzy's POV
As I was cleaning the couch, I found old popcorn under the cushions..
"Jake, Cubby, what is this?" I asked them.
"Old popcorn?!" Jake said to me.
"And you two ate on the couch right?" I asked them.
" Well, I I I I I I yes we were eating in the couch." Jake said to me.
" And the two of you didn't bother to clean up after yourself?" I asked them.
"Well, we were going to but we were too tired." Cubby said to me.
"Oh you are too tired you two were you tired? Well let me tell you something to the both of you, clean up after yourselves!" I said to them.
"Izzy, you need to chill, please you need to chill." Jake said to me.
"Don't tell me that I need to chill don't you dare tell me that I need to chill. Okay I should have gotten that cake me your girlfriend. But no, you just have to give it to Cubby, cuz he's the winner." I said to him.
"Izzy you need to calm down." Jake said to me.
" Cubby go play with Princess, for a little bit." Jake said to him.
"Sure thing Jake!" Cubby said to him as he left with Princess.
"Izzy sit down, take deep breaths, and calm the hell down." Jake said to me as I sat down on the couch.
Jake's POV
As Izzy sat down in the couch, I sat next to her to talk.
"Now, what is going on with you? I hear you yelling and screaming, and yelling and screaming, and yelling and screaming." I asked her.
" I don't know Jake it's just that I really really really really really want that cake." Izzy said to me.
" I know you do, but you lost okay, I'm sorry. You just got to accept that." I said to her.
" I'm sorry just continue cleaning The Hideout, and I don't want to hear any yelling, cuz you know that upsets Princess." I said to her.
" Okay Jake I'm sorry." Izzy said to me.
"That's my girl." I said to her as I got up from the couch.
As I left Izzy to her cleaning duties, I went to go check up on my little brother, and my baby girl.
"Is everything okay in here guys?" I asked them.
"Yes Jake we're just watching Peppa Pig on my phone." Cubby said to me.
"Okay, if you need me, I will be in the bedroom reading my comics." I said to him.
"Alright Jake!" Cubby said to me as I went to go read my comics.
Izzy's POV
After I was done cleaning the living room, I went to go clean the kitchen. first I placed all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and started that up. Then I started to mop the floors.
As I was done cleaning the kitchen, I went to the bathroom, and started to clean everything even the tub. As I was done cleaning the bathroom, I went to the other bathroom.
As I arrived to the other bathroom, I started to clean the sink. After I was done with the sink, I turned around to the tub and I immediately covered my mouth and ran out of the bathroom.
"I am not cleaning that. Now, where my phone at?" I asked myself as I was searching for my phone.
As I finally found my phone, I immediately went to the living and laid down on the couch, as I started to text Lisa.
Jake's POV
As I went to check up on Izzy and her cleaning, I saw her laying on the couch using her phone.
"ISABELLA ROSE GREEN, WHAT ARE DOING?" I asked her.
"What does it look like I'm doing, I'm use my phone." Izzy said to me as I took her phone out of her hand.
"Hey, give me back my phone Jake." Izzy said to me.
" You will get your phone back after you are done with cleaning the entire Hideout." I said to her.
" I'm done cleaning." Izzy said to me.
"Oh yeah, I am going to check.
As went to check Izzy's chores, the kitchen looked good, the living room looks good, our bedroom needs work, and the bathtub in the other bathroom definitely needs a good cleaning.
"Okay, bathroom number two needs cleaning, our bedroom needs changing, oh yeah and Princesse's room needs cleaning as well. So, GO CONTINUE CLEANING!" I said to her.
"But Jake, I really want my phone." Izzy said to me.
"You will get your phone back, after you're done cleaning. Now, go. I don't have to repeat myself." I said to her.
Izzy's POV
Before I went to go clean the other bathroom, I went to go put on a mask so I don't need to smell the tub. As I got my mask on, I went to work. I took long enough but once I was done, I took the maks off and went to our bedroom to start changing the sheets on our beds.
After my sheets were changed, I went to go change the boys bed sheets. But as I went up the Cubby's I saw actually moldy disgusting Pizza under his sheet.
"Ewe, Cubby, this is disgusting." I said to myself as I threw it away in the garbage and went back to work on making Cubby's new bed. After that was done, I went over to Jake's bed and started to transition sheets even though I love him he needs to change his own sheets.
"Jake I love you, but you got to stop eating candy and chocolate on your bed it's really disgusting." I said to myself I just threw the chocolate and candy away in the garbage.
Okay after both of our beds were done, I went inside Princesse's room, and started to clean up her toys.
"Don't mind me, I'm just cleaning up." I sent to them but they get it in as soon as I eat notice that they fell asleep while watching Peppa Pig on Cubby's phone. so I went over there just to be a good mother and a good big sister and cover them up with a blanket.
"Sweet dreams my little angels." I said to them as a closed the door.
So I guess the last thing I got to do is clean the basketball court I'll just mop it.
so, I went back into the kitchen took the mop bucket, went down in the elevator and started to mop the basketball court. Once I was done, I went back upstairs put the mop bucket away, and said these three words to myself.
"I...am..done!" I said to myself as I went over to Jake.
" Jake I'm done, may I have my phone back please?" I asked him.
" Sure thing Izzy, good job!" Jake said to me.
"Cool, thanks Jakey!" I said to him as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and went to go play with my phone.
