Homesickness is the distress caused by being away from home. Homesickness can be seen in children and affected person may be taking a short trip to a nearby place, such as summer camp, or the person may be taking a long trip or have moved to a different country.

The creation turned as the view caught his breath. The wonder that filled his being as he looked over the cliffside. The morning sunlight was just peaking over the edge of the large ocean in the distance. The burning colors of amber, gold, and blue blazed across the sky. He could still see a few stars that were still out, but wondered if the stars always stayed in the sky like the Moon did on a clear day.

"- come along now. We have many more materials to gather for your brother. Humus is waiting for us and we must make haste down the mountain side by tonight." Rhinedottir commented

"Yes Master." The Creation replied

His eyes took in one last look of the view before quickly following his Master. They were going to build his newest brother. He already knew about Humus, but this one was going to be like himself! He was quite happy at that fact, someone who would be like him. Though he would be the second eldest, seeing since Humus was indeed the oldest of the brothers, he couldn't help smiling a bit at the thought of someone keeping him company while Rhinedottir was gone during her own studies.

Rhinedottir spotted the smile from her Creation. He was too human for her tastes, which is why she was making quick work about building another Golem. Though she couldnt call her Creation a Golem, no. He was basically a human being at this point. She had messed up her research. She swallowed the growl that threatened to spill from her lips.

A Creation with Emotions was of no use to her.

He was a failure.

When night had fallen and Klee was curled up in her cot. Viox had made her way over to Albedo's work table, leaning on one hand she peered over his shoulder as he sat in his chair.

"What do all these symbols mean?" She asked

"Alchemic math." He replied

Viox knew about regular bare bone math. After all she was a wiz at that, but this math looked more like a formula? She could see a little sketch of a vial with some parts shaded in. It was sitting on a burner as little flames were lit.

"Are you ready to talk about what has made you so tense yet? Or should I leave you to your experiments?" Viox asked, pulling away

Albedo cleared his throat a little, "We can discuss it. Though we will pass the information through notes." He said, standing up with a small notepad and pencil.

"Notes?" Viox looked at the other with narrowed eyes, "That's a bit odd."

Albedo quickly wrote down his reply before turning it towards Viox to see

~Not odd, we don't know who could be listening in

Viox blinked. Taking the pad of paper with the pencil and writing her reply

-Now I get it. What is happening?

Albedo took the pencil back and wrote

~Primordial

-Primordial?! How? I thought he was no longer walking Teyvat?

~I had my theories about that. According to my Master's notes, she had thrown him into the pits of Durin's stomach due to him being a failure of the Primordial Human Project. The same project that created me.

Viox took a moment, so Albedo did know about the project that Xiao had told her about when telling the story about Primordial and Albedo. Sadly, this disproved her theory about Albedo still having those memories about when he was first created. She looked at the Golem, his eyes were dull and his face was blank of any emotion as per usual. It never changed. Though she couldn't help but wonder if Primordial was the same? Or maybe?

-What if Primordial is a synthetic human being?

~That is a possibility, but how can a synthetic human be able to survive being eaten by Durin? That doesn't add up to me.

-What if he didn't really get eaten?

~Go on

-Think about it. You are a Golem. Golem's are basically like the perfect weapons for a Master to control and use in battles, though since you are a different form of Golem, meaning you are like a human but not, You've lasted a long time, even without orders from your Master. Primordial could have this and more. He has the longevity of a Golem but everything else is human. If we had some notes on how Rhinedottir made you, it might help us figure out how Primordial is still alive. Maybe Durin didn't really want to eat Primordial and hid him away from sight after Rhinedottir had left? This is all in theory.

Albedo placed a hand on the paper to read it over, his mind tinkering with the hypothesis of Primordial's abilities to be alive. He wasn't sure if Durin would think about something like that. Durin had gone into a crazed state of mind after something happened, shortly afterwards Albedo had come into being, but this didn't add up. How could he have been born afterwards?

~We should continue this in the morning. I know where Rhinedottir's old camp is, it may take a few hours of hiking to get to since I've walled that area off for years, but it's a start. Do you think you and Klee can stay at Camp tomorrow by yourselves?

-Are you asking me to babysit your sister?

~Perhaps

-Then I shall do so. Will you be safe?

~I'll try.

Viox laid in her cot later that night. She couldn't really sleep at the thought of Albedo going off on his own, but she knew it would be safer for Klee and herself to stay at Camp. Nobody could reach them here. Though worry was eating her inside. Slowly she sat up in the large cot and looked over to where Albedo was resting. Carefully, she made her way over to the other's cot.

"Albedo?" She whispered softly

Albedo opened his eyes and looked at the other

Viox flushed, "Move over." She commanded

Albedo blinked as he moved as much as he could, allowing the other to lay down with him. "Normally, this is how people procreate or so I heard." He whispered out

Viox blushed red, "I'm not going to do that with you. I just want to ease some fears of mine."

"Nightmares then?"

"More like running thoughts."

Albedo looked at Viox, "What's on your mind then?"

"Are you going to be safe tomorrow?"

"I shouldn't run into any problems there and on the way back. There's no monsters on the way there, and I should be back before dark."

"Do you know how to fight?"

"Everyone in the Knights knows how to fight. It's a skill we all must learn in case something happens."

Viox nodded carefully, "I'm just worried about you."

"There's nothing really to worry about. I've done this type of trip many times beforehand."

"Alright."

Albedo carefully slipped a hand around Viox's waist as his eyelids felt heavy, his body slowly relaxing with the other next to his form. He had to admit, this was the first time in almost a week that he had felt tired once again, staying up for a week straight was starting to take a heavy toll on his body, "Sleep for now. You'll need the rest for Klee." He stated as he got comfortable

Viox relaxed as she had stiffened up a bit when he wrapped an arm around her, but a yawn took over her ability to reply back. Sleep sounded like a good idea.

When night had fallen, the man had made his way back to his home. Though it wasn't really home all that much. It was where his birth had happened. Rhinedottir had a good idea with making sure she was out of the Archons' views when she birthed him. Though not that he could really recall that moment all too well. He remembered seeing the red behind his eyelids before opening them up to the bright light. To say he was feeling homesick was not all that far off. He did wish to know if Albedo felt the same way as he did. Being here with him and Rhinedottir when he had first opened his sea-green eyes.

"Albedo, do you feel anything now?" His voice was a whisper while he walked around the old laboratory of their Master. Taking a seat in one of the old chairs, the man sighed

"Let's see how well they can stand on their own without you there to protect them, Albedo."
