Hoard or "wealth deposit" is an archaeological term for a collection of valuable objects or artifacts, sometimes purposely buried in the ground, in which case it is sometimes also known as a cache. This would usually be with the intention of later recovery by the hoarder.
"Master? The Chalk has been gathered. All that's left is the gold." The Creation spoke softly, he was trying to place the chalk on the table, but Rhinedottir was quick to pull it out of his hands
"Soon the perfect masterpiece will be born." Rhinedottir hissed
The Creation took a moment. His Master had been slowly driven into madness as of late. The woman had been insulting - left and right for doing nothing but following her orders. As if he was no longer good enough to be her apprentice. Wasn't she the one who had created him for this sole purpose?
"Master. How will we get the pure gold?" He asked, his tone was gruff as he tried to hold back the storm that was brewing in his being.
"I will make a trip to Morax. He will make me some. Though I will not give away what I am doing." Rhinedottir stated as she gently caressed the large chalk slab within her arms, "Soon he will be born as a proper Golem. My weapon that will kill all. - fetch me a carving tool! I must create his body!" She spat out as she set the chalk on the table.
- paused, She hadn't used his real name in a while, was she becoming better? A little bit of hope entered his body, doing as he was told by fetching what his Master wanted. Perhaps after his brother was born, his Master would go back to her normal self.
Viox took a deep breath as she had just waved goodbye to Albedo. Who had left to go to Rhinedottir's old campsite by himself. Her eyes watched his back till he finally disappeared around the bend of the mountain where the broken bridge was. She huffed a little before turning towards Klee.
"What do we do first? We have a whole day to do anything really. Any ideas?" She asked
Klee pressed a hand to her mouth in thought, "We can't go fish blasting due to the water all the way down at the base of the mountain. We could color and make some artwork for Albedo to keep here so when we're done exploring, he will have something that reminds him of us? Or we can play in the snow?"
Viox smiled, "Why can't we do both of those things? We can go play in the snow first, then afterwards we can have some lunch, do some art, and then Albedo should be back by then, he said by dinner time at the latest if it doesn't start snowing too badly." She turned her gaze up to the sky, there wasn't much snowfall in general today, so maybe he would have clear weather as well.
"What are we having for lunch?" Klee asked
Viox hummed, "What about some veggie stew? It'll warm us right up after playing in the snow for a few hours."
Klee squealed happily, "That sounds super yummy! Can I help with making it?" She gasped at the thought
Viox nodded, "Of course. It'll taste better if we both make it together!"
Klee smiled widely, "Yay! I can't wait!"
Viox chuckled, "Come on! Let's get ready to play in the snow! I want to build a huge snowman that'll impress even the stone-faced Albedo."
Klee giggled, "That'll be one big snowman!"
It was indeed a big snowman. Viox chuckled as she watched Klee try her hardest to roll the head part of the snowman. Viox had finished the bottom which was hard to do by herself, but Klee had a way to encourage the other to keep going. Afterwards they had worked on adding feet before getting the head piece ready.
"Klee, we should put this on hold for now, it's getting close to lunchtime!" Viox called out
"Okay!" Klee exclaimed, walking over leaving the large snowball behind her.
Viox turned, her eyes widening, "Klee!" She shouted, moving as fast as she could
Klee looked worried but turned to look behind herself, before darting to Viox's side.
"Hilichurls and Mitachurls." Viox spat as she pushed the Spark Knight behind her body, protecting Klee was the first objective.
"Why are there so many? How did they get here?" Klee asked, her Catalyst had materialized in front of herself, preparing for a fight
Viox carefully allowed her blade to do the same, she gripped the handle tightly as she pulled it in front of herself. The sword gleamed in the sunlight, "Klee can you cover me?" She asked, her eyes never leave the large hoard of monsters that stalked their way towards the two.
Klee nodded, "I learned how to fight with the help of Big Brother Albedo, plus I have bombs."
Viox took a step forward, the power of her own Electro Vision flooded her being as she smiled, "We might need those, can you make a large enough boom for me Klee?"
Klee giggled, "Of course I can!"
Viox focused, "Good." She watched as the first Hilichurl broke its ranks, lunging right for her. She ducked and slashed her sword through its chest as she pushed it backwards. It stumbled on its feet for a moment before dropping, Allowing Viox to plunge her blade into its chest. She thanked Violet for teaching her how to fight, and even if it was the basics. She was at least prepared, as two more came after her.
Viox took a breath, dodging the slashing attacks towards her form, she wasn't skilled but she could be fast. Gripping her blade tighter she ran forwards, plunging her sword into the gut of one of them. Two out of who knew how many. How on Teyvat did they get up here? It should be near impossible!
"Big Sis Viox! Look!" Klee's voice called out
Viox looked at the Hilichurl that she had just ripped a hole in, watching it melt into the ground. It was made from water. Her eyes widened. Water Golems? Who had the ability to make so many and all of them so life-like without giving away that they were water golems?
"Klee! How much of a boom can you make if I give you time to make one?!" Viox called as more started a dead run up to Viox's form. Her lightning wouldnt be of much use here, but she could use it to set off Klee's bombs to push back as many of the golems as possible.
"I can have it done shortly! Don't worry Big Sis Viox! I'm on the case!" Klee called out with a giggle
Viox didn't know if she needed to be concerned at the Pyro Vision holders giggling or not. She instead led a chase for the golems to target her. She ducked and dodged as much as she could, being careful not to slip on the ice patches on the stones and grass. Viox started to feel a burning in her lungs as her foot slipped on a dark patch of ice. She had thought it was water, but as luck would have it, it was ice. She swore as her ankle rolled sharply, causing her to tumble to the ground harshly. Her left hip got the most force of the fall. She could feel the monsters closing in on her form. Her eyes looked toward Klee, who was standing in shock. Viox went to call out the command, but the words died on her voice as one of the large Hilichurls, no, Mitachurls had slammed into Viox's prone form. Viox let out a blood-curdling scream as their shield slammed into her body. She could hear the pops and snaps of her ribs giving out at the weight.
Viox felt tears roll down her cheeks as the pressure crushed her lungs, she couldn't breathe under this weight. Her body was screaming in pain. As luck would have it, the Mitachurl lifted their shield, Viox took a painful gasp of air, right as the shield was coming back down, she locked eyes with Klee. She felt some blood drip into her mouth as it was too much to keep inside, she allowed the blood to drip out, she gave a smile just as the shield came down.
"Klee NOW!" Viox screamed.
As the clearing vibrated harshly at the massive explosion that was thrown over at the direction of Viox's form.
