Annoyance is an unpleasant mental state that is characterized by irritation and distraction from one's conscious thinking. It can lead to emotions such as frustration and anger. The property of being easily annoyed is called irritability.
"Soon, - can you get me that vial of Humus's blood please?" Rhinedottir called out as she was getting the ingredients ready to be infused into the body made from Chalk and Gold. It was like glassworking as Rhinedottir had carefully built this new creation with more care than she had built -. Not that she much cared, this one was going to be her perfect. She had formed his body carefully by melting down Chalk and gold together and allowing the molten liquid to fill the mold she had made for him.
"Master, what will this do?" Her old Creation spoke
"We will be creating a new life - watch and learn." She replied, taking the vial the other had handed her carefully
"And with this…this becomes a new birth." Rhinedottir spoke as she poured the blood out onto the body, infusing it with her Alchemy as the lab shook lightly with the hum of pure power.
Albedo wasn't much for sight seeing as he had already seen everything on Dragonspine before many times over in fact. So getting to Rhinedottir's old campsite or home if someone wanted to call it that, didn't take all that much time.
The campsite was located a few miles from his, as it was one of the many places he had visited from time to time if he lacked inspiration. The old notes and books within the camp always put a little spark of creativity to Albedo's research if he needed to look over any older words of wisdom. His boots were starting to sink into the snow as he moved upwards. The trail was starting to incline. More ice shards were starting to form here as they melted into the bedrock of the mountain. Dragonspines snow here never melted. Were when the summer months of Teyvat hit, the snow on top of this place was never touched. His hand came up to lead him onwards as the mountain curved until his dull eyes took in the divet of a cave. His mind was heavy with questions as he pushed forwards.
"It's been a while hasn't it?" He asked, though his words were carried off into the wind. He studied the outside as he did notice that there were tracks inside. Someone had been here as of late. Carefully, he drew his blade out, before he walked into the iced formed entrance. Taking the time to carefully walk inside without slipping. Though it may be some odd patch of dirt, Albedo could still see where the ice had dripped a little, making a small puddle of ice. Anyone could slip on it if they weren't watching their feet.
Once he had hit the main area of the camp. He took note that the place was trashed. Though there were signs of someone living here. He could see food being stored safely, as the camp pit still had burning embers from the night.
"So Viox's theory isn't far off." He commented. Taking a moment to look over everything carefully. He could grab a few of the books about The Primordial Human Project, those would be in the lock safe in Rhinedottir's old room. Carefully, he made his way towards where the woman was last seen by Albedo's eyes. He remembered when he had awoken that morning to find that his Master had left. Two letters sitting on her bed, one with Albedo's name and the other with Alice's name, who was Klee's mother. He took note that the bed was clearly used, as he entered the area. Whoever was living here was merely a person who was keeping out of the cold elements it appeared. Nothing serious.
Albedo made his way to the stone wall, dragging his hand down the natural curves before feeling the unnatural dip in the wall. This is where Rhinedottir kept her most valuable research. The Primordial Human Project. Though Albedo couldn't actually claim Human status. He was incomplete. A Golem, merely someone who kept Rhinedottir company while she researched, though she did teach him everything that had to do with Alchemy and Science. He still was abandoned when he became of no use to Rhinedottir.
His Master was always a cruel woman. Albedo took a moment as he wedged his fingers into the divet to allow the pressure in the rock to give. This allowed him to remove the stone that hid the lock box so neatly behind it. He blinked. The lock box was missing. He stood up, looking around. Where could it have gone? He had never removed it from its spot. That's when the smell hit his nose. The Dark Mud was here. Albedo carefully moved towards the entrance of his Master's old room as he looked out into the main camp. A creature, he couldn't tell if it was a Hilichurl or not, but due to size, it could easily be a Samachurl. The mud was coated on it so thickly that Albedo could see the dark energies leaking off of its form.
How long had it been in here for Albedo to not notice until now? He couldn't tell. Albedo gripped his sword tighter as he moved slowly out of the room. He didn't want to alert the creature that merely was shuffling around. His footsteps were soft as he circled around towards the exit of the campsite. Albedo's eyes were trained on the creature as he carefully made his way out. This was not the time to fight, nor was there any room to fight the thing. Albedo weighed the issues that may appear later, though that wasn't important at the moment. Getting out alive was the first task.
Albedo froze, the ground below his feet shook. It was light. An avalanche? Dragonspine rarely got one, but now? He watched as the loose rocks clattered as another tremble shook, this one was larger. This wasn't a normal avalanche, it was man made, could Klee have triggered her bombs? He looked up at the creature, who was swaying a little as the movements stopped, but it didn't turn to attack him. He backed out of the campsite's cave slowly.
Once he reached the outside. He went to the ledge of the cliffside. He could see the clearing of his camp from here easily, but smoke and steam covered the area. Albedo took a deep breath, the icy air chilled his lungs but helped steady his mind. He needed to go back to camp.
Reaching camp was difficult in many ways as Albedo had assumed, the loud earth tremors had caused some of the sleeping monsters to crawl out of their holes. So it was a game of being slow and cautious. When he did reach the clearing. He took in the large puddles of water that made the ground muddy and uneven. The ground and dirt here normally was solid and frozen over but not enough in most spots that would cause someone to slip.
Albedo froze as most of the steam was clearing as a very muddy Klee came into his view. The sounds of his boots splashing the water echoed out loudly.
"Klee? Klee, what happened?" He asked, coming to a stop and kneeling in front of his sister, cupping her face gently. He took note that she didn't have any injuries, though her eyes were filled with tears. Albedo tucked some of her hair away from the other's face. "Klee are you okay? Where is Viox?" He asked
Klee shakily raised a hand to point over Albedo's shoulder.
Albedo turned, if this was a joke, he would have never laughed.
There was Viox's body, crumpled on the ground. A pool of blood drenched her pink hair red.
