Chapter 70 Izzy gets a black eye

Izzy's POV

As I was taking a walk down the corridor, I saw a really dunk man walking side to side and then out of nowhere, he punched me in my eye sending me to the ground leaving me crying.

As I got off the floor, I saw blood one the ground as I felt my eye bleeding. So I immediately ran back to Princess in the recovery room crying.

"Izzy what happened?" Jake asked me.

"I got punished in the eye by a drunk guy named Samuel." I said to him.

"Yeah, your eye is bleeding." Cubby said to me.

" Nurse, can I get the first aid kit please?" Jake asked the nurse.

"Right away, Mr. Hutchinson." The nurse said to him as she went to go get the first aid kit for him.

Jake's POV

As the nurse gave me the first aid kit, I began cleaning Izzy's black eye.

"Izzy it's okay I know it hurts, bit I'm trying the best I can right now." I said to her as I was cleaning the blood from her eye.

"Jake thanks for cleaning my eye." Izzy said to me.

"Hey, it's the least I can do for your boo boo eye." I said to her.

" Boo boo eye?" Cubby asked me.

" Yes! If you have a boo-boo eye, I would clean it." I said to him.

"Okay." Cubby said to me.

"Cubby, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"Look Jake, I'm grape nose boy!" Cubby said to me.

"Cubby, stop playing around." I said to him as he ate the grapes from his nose.

"Ewe, that's disgusting." I said to him.

"Cubby, you know you can get sick from doing that." Izzy said to him.

" Izzy, I'm healthy as a horse." Cubby said to her.

" Okay but if you start coughing, or sneezing, don't come crying to us." I said to him.

"Wow Izzy your eye is really bruised." I said to her.

"But is my eye going to be okay Jakey?" Izzy asked me.

"yeah it's going to be okay. Just put some ice on it when we get home okay." In said to her.

"Okay Jakey." Izzy said to me.

Once the near some back with the ice pack, I gave it to Izzy who placed it on her black eye.

"There you go Izzy." I said to her.

"Thanks Jake you're so sweet." Izzy sad to me.

"Thanks!" I said to her.

As Princess woke up, she said this.

"Play play play play play play play." Princess said to us.

"No princess, no play play you had surgery on your leg today so no play play." I said to her.

"Play play." Princess said to us.

"No!" All three of us said to her.

"Why mommy have ice pack on her eye?" Princess asked us.

"I got punched by a drunk man." Izzy said to her.

" Mommy got booboo?" Princess asked her.

"Yes Mommy got a boo boo." I said to her.

"Princess make it better." Princess said to her as she kissed Izzy's eye.

"Aww." We all said to her.

"Hey Princess, how about we take you to the playroom you can do arts and crafts!" I said to her.

" Yay arts and crafts arts and crafts!"Princess said to us as we put her on

Her wheelchair, and the three of us went to the playroom.

As we got to the playroom, you saw a bunch of kids playing, we saw another kid watching Peppa Pig on TV which apparently Cubby run over to sit down to watch TV. But as for me and Izzy we went over to the arts and crafts table with Princess and we both started to paint pictures.

As we watched Princess painting random colors on the paper, she was really messy.

"Princess are you having fun?" I asked her as she put paint in my nose.

"Hahaha Daddy has paint nose." Princess said to me as Izzy looked.

"Haha Jake you got pink paint on your nose." Izzy said to me.

"So I do." I said to her as I took my finger and wiped the paint off my nose.

"So anyway, let's see what you painted, sweetie." Izzy said to her as Princess showed us the lovely painting.

" Wow it's it's what is it?" I asked in confusion.

"Jake can't you see Princess, painted a rainbow." Izzy said to me.

" Well it's cute. How about we leave this heater dry, and get you cleaned up." I said to her as I took her to the bathroom to get her cleaned up.

Izzy's POV

As I grabbed Princess's painting, Cubby and I went back to Princess's room to hang out. As we got back to her room Jake was already there as he was sitting on a chair next to Princess's bed. So, I placed her painting on the windowsill to dry, and then went over to Jake and Princess as Cubby was busy texting his girlfriend.

"Home home home home home." Princess said to us.

" Yeah I agree Princess, let's go home." Cubby said to us.

"We have to wait until the doctor says we can." I said to the both of them.

" I'm sorry Princess you can't go home right now you just had surgery on your leg, so no." I said to her.

"Princess go home." Princess said to us.

"I'm sorry sweetie you can't go home right now, you just had surgery on your leg today." Izzy said to her.

"When home?" Princess asked us.

"When the doctor says you can okay just be patient." I said to her.

"Mommy, stay at hospital for a week last year?" Princess asked me.

" Yes princess your mommy did stay at the hospital for a week and it was boring." I said to her.

"Oh." Princess said to me.

"I hate hospital." Princess said to us.

"Yes Princess we know, you take it after your mother. And the reason why your mother had to stay in the hospital for a week, is because she had surgery on her leg." Jake said to her.

"I go home now." Princess sald to us as we stopped her.

"No Princess! No, you can't go home right now you need to stay here." Jake said to her.

"Boring here." Princess said to him.

"How about we watch a little TV." I said to her.

"Barney." Princess said to me as Jake took the remote and changed the channel to PBS kids.

"I hate Barney." Jake said to us.

"Jake, this is for Princess just let her enjoy it." I said to him.

"Fine I'll let her enjoy it." Jake said to me as he putted his earbuds on and listened to music on his phone.

"Oh sweet Barney's on YAY!" Cubby said as he got on the bed and watches the show with his niece.

"Oh come on not you too." Jake said as he got up and went to sit on the couch.

"Looks like daddy's getting annoyed." I said to Princess as she nodded her head.

" Why do you like to watch this show anyway Cubby?" Jake asked him.

" Because I hear it's very educational, for children." Cubby said to him.

"Well, it's not right." Jake said to him.

" Jake, there has to be a show you watched when you were little." I said to him.

" No I do not watch TV growing up, you know what I did growing up? I went outside and played around with Peter Pan that's all I did growing up." Jake said to me.

" Well, that doesn't seem fun." Cubby said to him.

"It was fun to me, and I had a blast." Jake said to him.

"that doesn't seem safe, I am outside let Peter Pan what if Captain Hook caught you?" Cubby asked him.

"Cubby, this was a long time ago, the only thing I remember is playing with Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell that's it." Jake said to him.

"Jake where was I?" I asked him.

"Oh yeah, you were inside Peter Pan's Hideout, napping." Jake said to me.

"Wait so you were playing outside with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, and you just left Izzy inside?" Cubby asked him.

"Don't worry, she wasn't allowed, she had her teddy bear with her." Jake said to him.

"Look Jake Princess, fell asleep." I said to him.

"She is so adorable." Jake said to me.

"Yeah, she is Jakey." I said to him.
