Luffy wasn't as bright as the sun anymore, but maybe that's better because now Marco can hold him without burning.
MaLu, cause what else :P. Also this contains MxM so if that's not your thing then bubye.
Hi HollowSea here, I tend to overthink a story and like have to plan out every single detail. So just this once I thought of something and was too lazy to make it into a big story so here's just a short...Story? What is this called? Note? lol
Luffy wasn't the same, Marco knows.
Marco knows through the way the raven grinds against him skillfully and moans his name sinfully. Through the way his tongue swirls masterfully against his when they taste each other.
Luffy wasn't innocent anymore, and Marco suppressed the anger that rose unbridled when he remembered how the raven picked up these skills. But then he couldn't hate all these skills used for him.
Marco knows through the rough texture he feels wherever he touches the raven. Through the words carved into his skin.
Luffy wasn't unmarked anymore, his smooth tan body carrying red, rough scars. Marking him, reminding him of his pains and suffering. Never letting them forget. Reminding Marco that he failed again.
Marco knows through the way his onyx eyes dulled, not shining as bright when they stare into each other. Through his blank, dark stares that gave him shivers.
Luffy wasn't as kind anymore, but he would still pour his love on Marco. The stars Marco could count in his eyes decreased but he didn't care because the few stars left, shone brightly for him and him only.
Marco knows through the sobs and cries that wreck the raven at night. Through the silent tears that flowed down his face when he thought Marco wasn't around.
Luffy wasn't strong anymore, he cried and broke. He held him so tightly like he thought Marco would leave him. Marco holds him back as tight, trying to convey how he feels through his own desperate touches.
Marco knows through his dulled smile and dampened laughter which used to remind him of the sun. Through the sad smiles he flashes tiredly.
Luffy wasn't as bright as the sun anymore, but he still lights up Marco's world. His smile wasn't as radiant but still as warm when pointed at him. His laugh, still as musical in Marco's ear, and Marco doesn't burn anymore when he holds him.
Marco knows through the way he stares into the horizon, unmoving. Through the weariness carved into the raven's eyes and body.
Luffy wasn't as energetic anymore, he was too tired, every breath too heavy. Marco knows he wants the ocean to swallow him, drag him to the deepest parts of the ocean. But he stayed, he promises he'll always be there for Marco.
Marco knows because he was just the same. They were broken pieces that fit together like a puzzle, they complete each other. It hurts him to think they could only be together due to how broken they were, but maybe Luffy would've been too bright and too hot for him otherwise.
Luffy loves Marco, Marco knows. Marco loves Luffy just as much.
Luffy eases his pain, and Marco feels less lonely.
There were only the two of them left, maybe they will never forget but at least they were together.
For the first time, Marco doesn't miss his family as painfully as before.
And for the first time, Marco thinks it's okay for him to live a little longer.
Hi HollowSea here, I've been so out of creative juice T^T
This was a random thing I thought of at night, and if you know me~ I love a good angst and hurt/comfort nonsense.
I honestly have no idea if this is good but since I wrote it I might as well post it
Also, the idea was that everyone they both know were mostly dead and Luffy obviously went through some dark stufffff (leaving that to your imagination). They found each other and ended up sticking together.
If you don't like that feel free to imagine whatever, even write your own story (and tell me, cause I want to read more MaLu).
