"Have lunch with me tomorrow."
Warren look at his phone and then put it back up to his ear. "Um. Missy I do have school tomorrow it's still the week." He was hoping that Missy had just forgotten that it wasn't quite the weekend yet.
" oh I know." She said. "See you for lunch."
And with that the phone and Warren's hand went dead and then he just blinked.
The next day at school Warren was distracted With the thoughts of what the heck Missy had planned so didn't See as well and Layla Got off the bus.
"-ren Warren hello." Warren stumbled as he felt as somebody shoved at his shoulder. He turned in glared.
"What was that for stronghold?" Warren hissed stout.
Will and Layla shared a look but before Will could speak Layla cut in.
"Warren, Will called for you across the courtyard and you didn't respond. We've been standing here for two minutes trying to get your attention."
And before Layla could continue will cut in. " and the bell rang like A minutes ago."
Warren fixed his book bag onto his shoulder and cursed before walking off.
Will and Layla share a look before quickly going after Warren.
When the trio reached the classroom and took their seats Will turn to Warren and tacked on his desk getting the fire users attention before saying.
"So hothead what's going on?" Will gave Warren a look. " I like to think that I know you and you're never this…" Will paused and what he was going to say before saying; "Spacey."
Warren side because he said;
"Everything's fine guys I just have a lot on my mind right now."
Will got a warren look on his face but asked. " is it something to do with your father?"
Warren gave a short, "No."
But before will could ask another question the teacher called for their attention.
When lunch rolled around even though on the outside Warren seemed calm just distracted he was actually a ball of nerves not knowing what to expect from Missy.
The trio on their way to lunch now joined by Zack and magenta were stopped in the plaza by a shout of "WARREN!!" And a super fast yellow blur shot past them and then the next thing the group knew there was a yelp and Warren was on the ground with an older asian lady dressed in yellow on top of him.
"Oh wow Warren does your girlfriend know that you have older women fawning all over you?" Zach said as the two stood up and the Lady brush down her skirt before turning in brushing off warrens leather jacket. Warren shot Zach a glare.
"Oh Warren stop that." The older lady said slightly slapping at Warren shoulder. The group heard Warren murmur a "sorry Missy." Before they was distracted by the hyperness of the lady.
"So you must be Warren's friends. It's nice to meet you." She gave them a beaming smile. " i'm missy and Warren has told me so much about you." But before the group could do their own greetings the hyper older lady turned back to Warren and said.
"So principal powers has given her permission for me to kidnap you off campus for lunch-" Warren gave her a glare but the group noticed was mellow were than his normal, but the lady just continued. "-but then after that you have what another two classes and then we have the assembly." She said smiling and grabbing Warren's wrist and dragging off their resident hot head who just glanced back at them but walked with the older woman.
The group of teens were so confused.
