After breakfast, and a million awkward questions from Henry, Emma helped clear away the breakfast plates. Really it was just an excuse to cop a sneaky feel of Regina's ass by the sink. "So what are your plans for the day?"
Regina batted her hand away and made a shocked sound. "Henry might see, behave! I have some errands to run then I'll take Henry out for lunch and ice-cream. And you?"
Emma felt like she was getting ahead of herself. She could already picture their little family fitting together so perfectly. It scared her a bit that she wanted that so much. She awkwardly rubbed her hands down her thighs forgetting she wasn't wearing her jeans. "I um, I guess I'll just go and catch up on laundry or something. Maybe spend some time with Mary Margaret "
Regina smirked. It was quite adorable how Emma could switch back to the bumbling fool in seconds. "Would you like to come with us?"
"Is that a good idea? What if someone sees?"
"It's just lunch and ice-cream. Nothing has changed as far as anyone else is concerned."
Emma felt so strange. She really wanted to go but she doubted she'd be able to peel her eyes away from Regina in public and people, scratch that, Ruby would figure out something was going on. "Rain check? I really should do some laundry. But, maybe a movie night sometime?"
Regina nodded in understanding. Things had moved rather quickly. They really ought to give themselves a bit of time to adjust. "It's pizza night tonight. Seven o'clock. Don't be late."
Emma let out a breath of relief. She'd worried Regina would take it as a rejection. "I'll be there." She hesitantly leant forward and planted a chaste kiss on Regina's full lips then bounced out of the kitchen and down the hall. "See you later, Henry. Save me a slice!" She called out to her son and gently pulled the door of the mansion closed behind herself. Once inside the bug, she punched the air in excitement and drove back to her apartment in the best mood.
She walked inside humming and whistling to herself and David grinned over at her. "I take it your date went well if this is the time you're getting in."
She froze in panic. "Date? I didn't have a date. Why would you think that?"
David laughed and nodded at her outfit. "Mm, really? That is the first time I've ever seen you in a dress and you are never this chirpy before ten."
Enma laughed sarcastically. "Ha! Funny! It wasn't a date. If you must know, Regina, Henry and I had dinner, maybe a bit too much to drink and I fell asleep on the couch, in the guest room." She remembered correcting herself.
"There's a couch in Regina's guest room? Surely the bed would be more comfortable." David sassed.
"Yeah, I fell asleep on the couch. She took me the bedroom after, I mean.. Damnit! You know what I mean!" She fought the heat rising to her cheeks. Shit, she couldn't do this. She was such a crap liar.
David shook his head. His daughter was acting weird. "Okay, sure. So why the dress?"
"I... need to do laundry. Really bad. In fact, I'm gonna do that now. Is Mary Marg, uhm, mom home?" She still couldn't get used to that.
"She's gone out with Ruby for the day. I'm heading down to the station now. Are you in tonight?"
"I'm gonna hang out with the kid again. Pizza. Have fun at work."
David hesitated as if about to say something but thought better of it. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then."
"Bye, Dad." Once he was out the room, she flopped onto the couch and whimpered. This was going to be hard to keep quiet about. Not that she wanted her parents to know she was banging her mom's step-mom. Hell to the no! It just felt so good to finally be out of Regina's head and wow, in her bed. She smiled to herself remembering their night together after all the revelations and cards left on the table. She was nervous about a lot of things, but not them being together. When Regina took her heart, she thought for a moment she might break it, but she was still able to read her mind at that point and her worries vanished. Regina wasn't the two-dimensional villain most of the town painted her to be. She had a lot of heart. She felt deeply about things and genuinely cared about Emma. Not just her ass, though Emma honestly wouldn't have minded much if that was the only thing she liked about her. She cuddled the cushion on rhe sofa and got a whiff of the body wash still clinging to her skin from their shower this morning. She knew what was coming was going to be much more than what she dared to fantasize about. There were going to be plenty of clashes for sure. She didn't doubt they'd still butt heads over many things. They were both stubborn. But at least they knew now why passions ran so high and how they could work it out.
She pulled herself out of her thoughts and started the laundry she'd put off for a while. The rest of the day was spent lolling about and daydreaming between chores. Her eyes kept flicking to the clock to make sure she wouldn't be late. When Mary Margaret came in with Ruby and a couple of bottles of wine under their arm at six, Emma grinned. "Looks like you two have been enjoying yourselves."
Mary M tottered around into the kitchen and pulled out three glasses. "Oh, you should have come, Sweetie! We haven't stopped laughing all day. Where were you last night? I came in to wake you up this morning but you weren't there."
"Yeah, I stayed out. I'm actually going out now. Don't pour me one."
Ruby eyeballed her. "So the Doc finally worked up the guts to ask you out, huh?"
Emma looked confused. "What? Oh, Whale? No. He's just a friend, kinda. No, I was hanging with Henry at Regina's place is all, and that, is where I'm going now."
Ruby stated her down considering. "You look nice. Is that, a new perfume you're wearing?"
Emma laughed. "Probably fabric softener! I found the machine today!"
Mary M laughed heartily and poured an extra glass anyway. She handed one to each of them and smiled. "Well, you can stay for one. God, Regina's probably making Henry do math homework before pizza night. You're gonna need a drink to deal with her two nights in a row."
"Here, here!" Ruby chimed in and clinked their glasses.
Emma glugged on the wine and groaned. "Hey, you know she isn't actually that bad. Once you get to know her a bit, she's pretty fun."
Mary M spluttered on her wine in a fit of hysterics. "She wouldn't know how to have fun if it hit her round the face. Trust me, I've tried!"
Ruby laughed. "Rather you than me, Em. She needs to get laid so bad. I can just smell her pent up sexual frustration every time she walks into the diner. She's got some issues. Shame everyone around here's to afraid of her to take a stab."
Mary M laughed again with a shocked face pointing at Ruby. "You totally would, wouldn't you!"
Ruby wiggled her eyebrows. "Hell yeah! Maybe let the Wolf out and scratch her up a bit too. I bet she likes it rough."
Emma was dying inside. This was not what she expected to hear from her mom and little red riding hood. Snow continued. "That's disgusting, Rubes! Ugh, she's my step-mom."
"Only by marriage." Both Emma and Ruby corrected. Ruby caught her eye again and saw something. "No offence, Snow but your Dad wasn't exactly a looker. She was what, twenty when she married him?"
"Seventeen." Emma corrected again causing both Snow and Red to tilt their heads towards her.
"Do you two talk about stuff?"
Emma shrugged uncomfortably. "Not really. A bit, I guess. We usually talk about Henry or work. Savior stuff, that kinda thing." She hid behind her wine glass sensing Ruby's piercing eyes on her. "I'm gonna go. Henry will be pissed if I'm late."
As she was grabbing her jacket and keys, Ruby called over. "He's not the only one. She's anal about time keeping."
"Don't I know it." Emma smirked to herself and ran out of the apartment before the conversation could get into any more details. She didn't want to know that Ruby would bang her girlfriend given half the chance. Not that she could blame her. Shit, her girlfriend.
She waited outside the mansion until it hit six-thirty precisely on her dashboard clock. She was a bit early but she figured she could play a video game with Henry or something. Emma rang the doorbell and waited. Regina opened it with a poker face. "Good evening Miss Swan. I see you are early for once. Please come in. How about a glass of the best apple cider you ever tasted?"
"Are we doing this now? Damn, I wasn't ready. Let me go back out and start over."
Regina leant in menacingly and whispered in her ear. "We are not doing this now. Henry is in the house, but, I do like seeing you squirm." She clicked her heels on the marble and swung her hips sauntering towards the foot of the staircase. "Henry, Emma is here. I think she wants to play a game."
Emma watched Regina look over her shoulder suggestively. Emma fanned herself like she was burning up. "I like games but I have feeling you'll never let me win."
"Why would I let you win, Sheriff? Isn't it more fun just to play?"
Henry bounced down the stairs holding his latest collection of video games. "Hey ma! I just got this. Wanna try and beat me?"
"Sure kid. Sounds like fun." She looked back at Regina and smiled. "Is that okay, Regina?"
She nodded and directed her words to her son. "You may play your games in the lounge until the pizza arrives. Then, we will eat and have movie night together. I think that's fair."
Henry bounced into the lounge pulling Emma along and explaining all the levels and character's back story to her in an excited ramble. She wasn't really listening but vocalized when necessary. "Maybe your mom wants to play too. How about it, Regina? Wanna show me your skills?"
The Queen got a sly look in her eye. "Maybe later. I have a few things I'd like to catch up on before we begin our evening. I'll be in the study if you need me. Help yourself to anything. I know you do anyway." She disappeared off down the hall and into her study leaving Emma alone with a babbling Henry. She always felt guilty when Regina disappeared off like that. As if she was infringing on their personal space. She got into the game but kept wondering about what was so important for her to work on.
"Hey, kid. Did your mom seem okay today?"
Henry shrugged. "I guess. She's been extra nice to me actually. She let me bring ice-cream home for dessert. She never does that."
"Cool. I mean, did she seem sad or worried about anything?"
"Nope. I mean, it's weird seeing her smile so much, I guess."
Emma grinned knowing that sje might be the reason for the smiles. She put her worries aside and concentrated on their game. When the doorbell rang, she hit pause. "Times up, little man. I think we can say you beat me good."
"Ah just one more game!"
"Nope. You promised only until the pizza arrived, and I'm pretty sure that's what is at the door now. Besides, my pride can't take another hit!"
The pair went off into the kitchen to find Regina carefully plating out the slices. Emma laughed. "Why are you making extra dishes? Pizza is better out the box in your hands!"
"Because, I have a white couch, Sheriff. I prefer washing dishes over scrubbing surfaces."
"Fair enough. I'll just stand here then so I don't make a mess." Emma swiped a slice of pizza out of the cardboard and leant against the worktop munching it.
Regina rolled her eyes and then watched in horror as Henry copied his other mother. "See what you've done now! No wonder our son has such terrible manners." She huffed and took a slice for herself. If you can't beat them, join them.
Emma groaned at the sight of Regina being less than perfect for a change. Holding a slice of four cheese daintily trying not to let it flop whilst taking a tiny bite brought her immense joy. "Mmm, so good."
Henry was shocked seeing his mom eating with her hands. Maybe this was a good thing that Emma was dating her after all. Still weird but if she'd managed to bring out some of the fun after only a day, this could be great for him. He stood silently chomping his pizza and staring at them both leaning against the countertop. "Was it a true loves kiss?"
Emma almost choked and Regina patted her back in concern. "Are you okay? Do you need some water?"
Emma brushed her off. "I'm fine. Did you just wipe your cheesy fingers down my shirt?"
"I did no such thing! I was simply making sure you didn't die in my kitchen!" Regina was so flustered and Emma laughed until her eyes watered.
"I'm just fooling around! Your face was classic!"
Henry looked scared. His Mom's pout was now firmly back where it usually resided and he kept trying to will Emma to stop prodding the bear. Surely, she'd flip out now.
Regina composed herself and decided to pay her back for the embarrassment. She held her hand up and wiggled her fingers. "See how clean they are?" She breathed in sharply. "Oh, how embarrassing. Missed a bit." She slowly sucked off some invisible remnants of pizza topping from her index finger and hummed.
Emma's smirk fell when she realised how dirty Regina was willing to play in getting the final word in. "You're filthy."
Henry's face flushed feeling like he was missing something. His mom was acting so weird.
"Okay, so not true love?"
Both heads whipped around remembing present company. "We'll talk about that some other time, perhaps. Who wants ice-cream?" Regina swiftly changed the subject and put her mom face back on.
"Me!"
That was easy enough, she thought as she picked out some bowls and spoons. She scooted Emma out of the way so she could get in the refrigerator, earning herself a sly, secret smile. She took out three tubs they'd purchased that afternoon and placed them on the table before taking her seat at the head. Emma and Henry joined her, and she took the lids off slowly, scooping out a ball of chocolate chip for Henry and pushing the bowl his way.
"What flavor would you like this evening, Em-ma? Vanilla, or perhaps something a little more adventurous?"
"I'm good with all flavors. Vanilla's good but I like mixing it up." Emma knew what she was doing and she was enjoying it finally knowing she wasn't going crazy imagining all the innuendo in the past.
"Would you like a cherry on top?" Eyebrow quirked.
"Always. But I have no problem with it sinking to the bottom now and then." Checkmate.
"You can always try pushing it there. If you think it will stay down." Not that easy.
"I like a challenge."
"I believe you do."
"Ma! Just pick a flavor before it gets melty!" Henry bust in. This sounded like how they always started a fight and he didn't like it.
Emma shrugged. "I like it melty. The messier the better."
Regina scooped out one of each flavor and pushed the bowl towards the blonde. "It'll be dripping everywhere if you aren't careful."
"I can lap it up before it gets too messy."
"So what movie are we gonna watch?" Henry ignored whatever was going on and tried to get the women to focus on him.
"You choose, Henry. I'm sure your Mom and I will be happy with anything you want to watch." Emma ate a bit of the ice-cream but she wasn't particularly hungry now. All she wanted to do was get Regina alone. She felt awful about it. She loved Henry and spending time with him but this was something so new and exciting. It had been so long, if ever, since she felt so fluttery and excited to be with someone.
Regina noticed Emma pushing the bowl away. "I do hope you haven't lost your appetite."
She winked and reached a hand under the table to find a knee. Regina jumped, caught off guard by the action. "Only for ice-cream. I'm sure I'll be starving by the time the movie ends."
Regina's ankle moved up Emma's calf. "Well, we can't have you leaving here without having your fill."
"Ah, damn, I wish I'd known..."
"Stop! No more wishes!" Regina shook her head and got up from the table. "Honestly Emma, you really ought to pay more attention to your words." She cleared the bowls away opting for the dishwasher. She needed movie night to be over just as quickly as she imagined Emma did.
"Sorry. I was gonna say, it would have been nice to know this is what we could have been doing instead of fighting each other for all those years."
Henry's ears pricked up. "So, you liked Mom before you knew about everything? Before the curse broke?"
Regina blushed but wanted to hear the answer again. Even though she knew it.
"I did, Henry. I liked your Mom from the first moment she opened the door."
"You too Mom?"
She shifted uncomfortablly. "I thought Emma was very attractive, yes. Until I found out who she was."
"Woah. So maybe if the whole turnover thing hadn't happened, you two would have broken the curse anyway. Huh. I wish I'd..."
"Stop!" They both screamed. "The W word is no longer permitted in this house, understood?"
"Yes Mom."
"Yeah Madam Mayor."
"Alright, let's go and watch that movie. I think we've talked enough for one evening."
Emma mouthed a thank you at Regina who simply nodded back in relief. Henry was hard work and being truthful with him was exhausting and uncomfortable. There were some things a mother should never have to discuss with her son. Ever. As they walked into the lounge Emma whispered. "Have you ever had the talk with him?"
Regina's eyes widened. "He's eleven Emma, of course not."
"Okay, cool. Just so I know. You know it's coming, right?"
Regina squeezed Emma's hand with a pouty expression. "I know. But let's hope it's at least two years away, and with his grandpa."
Emma's cheeks pulled into a grin as they walked into the room hand in hand. Regina didn't seem to be letting go and she didn't mind in the least. Henry was already stretched out on his couch and Regina and Emma sat close on the other. Regina kicked off her stilettos and pulled her legs up to the side, leaning in slightly to Emma, their fingers still entwined. With her free hand, she pushed the button on the remote control and was surprised to see Maleficent on the title credits.
"Again, Henry?"
"Uh, huh. Ma hasn't seen it yet."
The brunette smirked. "Is that right, dear?"
"Nope. Never seen it. Heard a lot about it. Mostly critical. I have so many questions."
"I'm sure you do." The movie began and Emma whispered her questions every couple of scenes.
"So, she wasn't always a dragon?"
Regina shook her head.
"And she didn't have wings or, I don't know, scaley skin?"
"No, she was perfectly well formed."
Emma bit her lip. "So, blondes, huh?"
Regina huffed. "What can I say."
"But Tinkerbell?"
'"Are we really doing exes on our second date, Emma?"
"Well, we had a kid together before we even met so, I'd say normal rules don't apply."
Regina tried not to laugh and failed abysmally. "That is not how that works, dear! Honestly, I'm beginning to wonder how you ever managed without me to educate you."
Emma nuzzled in closer, seeing Henry was engrossed in the movie. "I'm sure there's a few things I could still teach you." Regina shivered. It was the magic between them whenever they touched that set her alight. Not just the magic. Something else inexplicable. She quickly glanced over to Henry's couch and took her chance to kiss Emma how she'd wanted to all evening. Their lips fit together so perfectly. Her tongue explored and danced with the blonde's tenderly. Her heart beat stronger against her ribs and she could feel the tell tale signs of arousal spreading warmly around her lower abdomen. Emma thought she heard Regina say, I have needed this for so long. Her eyes flicked open, not breaking the kiss.
Emma thought can you hear me? Regina snapped her eyes back open. "Again?"
"I don't know. Think something." Regina thought. "Are you doing it?" She nodded. "Yeah it's not working."
Regina sighed. "I could hear you. Kiss me again."
"Eww!" Henry shouted from across the room and the women realized the end credits were rolling.
"Henry, I think it's time for bed. Go up and brush your teeth. I'll come and tuck you in soon." He yawned and was glad to be out of the room if they were going to kiss again. He didn't wanna hear it or know about it if he could help it. She waited for him to leave and pounced on Emma sealing their lips once more.
'Damn. You are an amazing kisser.'
'Likewise. What the hell is going on? Is this permanent?'
'I dunno. This is new. Maybe it's just some leftover wish.'
'Doubful. This shouldn't be a two way thing unless you wished for that too.'
'Hell no! Seriously are you gonna berate me inside my mind while kissing me like this?'
'I need air.' Regina broke them apart. "And now?"
Emma thought about something and tried to hear what Regina might be thinking. "Nothing."
"Interesting. I'll do some research tomorrow and see what pops up. This is going to take so much fun out of things if it continues." She got up from the couch. "I'll put Henry to bed and be right back down."
Emma sat in the lounge bathed in the blue light from the tv and considered what Regina had said. It really would suck to know what each of them were thinking every time they kissed, or worse, during sex. A girl's gotta have some mystery. If you know exactly what's coming before it happens, it would mean no more surprises. Or maybe, Regina might never want to kiss her again. She'd have to try and find Nova.
Regina returned and sealed the door behind her. "Now, let's see how exactly this works." She clicked her fingers and a fire roared up in the hearth along with some sultry music playing softly in the background. She sauntered over to Emma and took her by the hand leading her closer to the fire.
"I thought you might wanna talk about it." Emma stuttered as Regina began undressing her.
"I am done talking." She sealed in with a fiery kiss and the flames roared up behind them.
'I only want to feel this. Nothing more.'
'Me too.'
Emma quieted her mind and focused soley on the goddess in front of her. She popped each button of the silk blouse with care, revealing the black lace ensemble that had taunted her for so many years. Regina was all too aware of what she was doing to the blonde. She got off on their little power plays too. Emma fell to her knees and unzipped the pencil skirt she knew Regina had specifically worn for her. It fell to the floor and her hands trailed up tanned, smooth legs followed by her mouth.
"Think something." Regina barked as she felt a tongue trace her hip bone.
Emma thought how much she'd like to leave a mark there.
"Did you hear me?"
"No."
Emma chuckled and whispered, "good." She sucked the skin there harder until she was sure she'd left a nice big hickey. Big mistake, she thought as she felt Regina pulling her up by her hair.
"Do you think that was clever, Miss Swan?"
"You tell me." She snarked and kissed her forcefully on the lips. 'Hella clever.'
I'll show you.' Before Emma had time to react, Regina had tumbled them to the floor, pouncing on top of her like a tiger going in for the kill. She pinned her there with her wrists above her head and kissed her menacingly.
'Did you hit your head? Was that too much?'
'No you are good. Continue showing me all you want.'
She grinned into the kiss, an evil chuckle escaping her lips and she got into the character she used to play so well.
"I don't take kindly to being marked, especially not by a sheriff!"
Emma cried out as Regina's mouth latched onto her nipple and bit teasingly. Not too hard to draw blood, but pretty hard. She followed it by a lick and proceeded to suck the skin close to her areola until her own mark was left. She showed the other breast the same courtesy and sat back on her knees to inspect her work. "Hmm, much better. I trust I have your co-operation now?"
Emma took the opportunity to push off her back and use her skills at tackling criminals on the Queen. She pinned her right down and spread her.
"If you think I'm gonna lie down on the job and take it from my boss, you're wrong Madam."
Regina panted as Emma played the role she'd long hoped she would and felt her arousal soaking through her black lace panties. Emma's hand snaked down and pushed the fabric to the side.
"Let's see what you've been hiding." Her fingers met no resistance and Regina whimpered at the contact as the sheriff filled her. "As I suspected. The evidence is in my hands now." It sounded so cheesy as she said it but it was undeniably turning Regina to mush. She swooped in for another kiss as she felt the woman clenching around her fingers.
'Oh fuck, I'm almost... Don't slow down!'
'You're so beautiful when you come.'
Emma kept going until the thoughts in Regina's mind melted into mush and only obscenities were echoing around in her head. She kept kissing her wanteming to know every last detail of how well she'd pleased her. When she heard, 'best fuck ever' she grinned and broke away. Regina realised what she'd heard and rolled her eyes dismissively.
"Don't get too cocky, dear. I expect excellence every time." She sealed the harsh words with another kiss and rolled Emma over. 'You're good but I'm better.'
'So competitive.'
'How is that shocking?'
Enna laughed as they broke apart again. "Oh trust me, it isn't." She gulped as Regina descended her body and latched her mouth onto her clit. "Oh, but that is." Regina swirled her tongue and added her fingers inside Emma's wet heat with the precision of a perfectionist. Another sensation crept over her skin, one she wasn't familiar with, and she propped herself on her elbows to see what it was. The vision of Regina's head masterfully doing its magic between her thighs was more beautiful than she ever thought possible. She came. Twice in succession and Regina gazed up proudly and daring her to do it again. Emma felt it surge a third time, then a forth, and as she reached the crescendo of her fifth back to back orgasm, she realized something. "You're using magic! That's cheating!"
Regina crept up and nuzzled into her neck. "Want me to stop?"
Emma gulped as she felt the sixth wave tremble out of her and Regina's hand slowly stilled, bringing her back down gently. "It isn't cheating if it gets results."
Emma felt completely spent and slightly inadequate now after witnessing exactly what Regina could do with her magic and her mouth. The queen kissed her tenderly and saw the thought before Emma could hide it.
She broke the kiss and looked at her with concern. "Emma, don't ever think that. I meant what I said, well thought. You are... Something. I'm not sure yet what that is. But..." She kissed her again hoping her thoughts would sound more eloquent than what she was trying to say.
'I really like you and what we are doing. You are not inadequate, not even close! You are the best lover I've had and don't think just because I can do a few enhancement spells, that makes me superior, of course. I am superior, I'm a Queen don't forget! But not when we are together like this. This is an equal playing field and I have never had that with anyone else. Ever. That makes us special. Unique even.'
She broke the kiss feeling embarrassed and awkward for revealing something so intimate and vulnerable. Emma pulled her onto her chest and stroked her hair tenderly. "Thank you for letting me know that. I'm sorry, it was just a moment. You did just make me come six times without a pause. I'm probably emotional."
Regina chuckled and placed a chaste kiss on her shoulder. "Only six? Shit, I'm losing my touch. I might need to practice some more."
Emma laughed and felt a shot of magic pass between them again. It was like an electric shock sometimes. "I am happy to be your training buddy. Maybe teach me that one too?"
"With pleasure."
