Chapter 88 Cubby learns to swim
Jake's POV
As I was in the pool, Cubby was just standing at the edge of it.
"Cubby you okay?" I asked him.
"Jake, I'm too scared to go in." Cubby said to me.
"Really, why is that?" I asked him.
"I don't know, how to swim." Cubby said to me.
"Aww don't worry buddy, I'll teach you how you swim." I said to him
" Now, come in the water." I said to him.
" Jake, what if I drow?" Cubby asked me.
" Don't worry buddy, I'll catch you." I said to him as Cubby Cubby in the water.
"There you go buddy! See, it's not that once you get used to it.
"Yeah, Jake can you teach me how to swim?" Cubby asked me.
"Sure thing my cute little brother." I said to him while pinching his cheek.
"Okay! The fist for learning how to swim, is kicking your legs like this." I said to him as I was kicking my legs.
" Sounds easy enough, can you help me?" Cubby asked me as I laid him on his back.
"Now this is how you swim backwards ready? Set, kick!" I said to him as he started to kick his legs.
"Your doing great Cubs!" Izzy said to him while sitting on the chair watching.
"Okay, Jake how do I swim forward?" Cubby asked me as I turned him to his stomach.
"Try not to get water in your nose." I said to him as he started to kick his legs.
"Yay hey! For teaching cubby how to swim, apparently I got nothing oh well." I said to myself as I followed Cubby.
Izzy's POV
As I was watching Princess, I saw her trying to go to the pool but I stopped her.
"Swim?" Princess asked me.
"No! Princess, you still got a broken leg." I said to her.
"Swim?" Princess asked me.
"No, Princess." I said to her.
"Come on Jake, give Izzy some sugar." Izzy said to him as they kissed as I covered Princess's eyes.
"Awe, Daddy kissing Mommy Uncle Cubby." Princess said to me.
"Yeah, they make a great couple." I said to her.
Cubby's POV
As Jake and I came out of the water, Jake shook his hair witch got us wet.
"Hey, Jake!" Izzy said to him as he stopped.
"Sorry, Iz." Jake said her.
"It's okay!" Izzy said to him.
"How was the pool?" Izzy asked us.
"It was calming, and fresh Izzy." I said to her.
"I can tell, cuz you two are wet." Izzy said to us.
" Jake, you look hot wet." Izzy said to him as he blushed.
"Thanks!" Jake said to her as he was rubbing the back of his neck.
Izzy's POV
As I was just laying on the deck chair with my eyes closed, I didn't see Princess almost getting into the pool.
Jake's POV
As I was splashing water on Cubby, I noticed that Princess was coming this way. So, I immediately grabbed her before she fell in the pool. I laid Princess down on the hard floor so I can get out of the pool, as I noticed Izzy was sunbathing.
"Do you mind, you're blocking the sun." Izzy said to me as she took her shades off and saw me holding Princess.
"Oh my God Jake, I didn't see you standing there what's up?" Izzy asked me.
" Well, I was just in the neighborhood and wait a second, Izzy you were supposed to watch Princess. What happened?" I asked her.
"Jake, I'm so sorry I just wanted to get a tan." Izzy said to me.
" I understand, to be honest it's really hot today so do you mind if I take a tan with you?" I asked her.
"Sure, but what about Cubby?" Izzy asked me.
" He's fine he already knows how to swim so he's good." I said to her as I grabbed my own deck chair am d laid down on or while Princess was on top of me while Izzy and I were holding hands while sunbathing.
Cubby's POV
As I was having fun in the water, I saw my friends getting a sunbathe.
"Aww, young love." I said to myself.
"Hi Cubby!" Someone said to me as I turned around to see Stormy on a beautiful bathing suits my heart started to pound like crazy.
"Wow you look beautiful." I said to her.
"Thank you Cubby Wubby." Stormy said to me.
"Check it out, Jake was teaching me how to swim." I said to her as I swam around her.
" That's so cool Cubby! I'm proud of you." Stormy said to me.
"Thanks!" I said to her.
Jake's POV
As Izzy and I were still sunbathing, I didn't notice that Princess was gone.
Cubby's POV
As I was having a conversation with Stormy, I saw Princess coming this way to get into the pool, as she was about to fall in but I cought her.
"Nice catch Cubby!" Stormy said to me as I placed Princess down on the hard floor.
" No getting in the pool, you have a broken leg still." I said to her.
"Okay Uncle Cubby." Princess said to me as I smiled
As I got out of the water, I grabbed Princess and walked up to Jake and Izzy while blocking the sun.
"Hey who turned out the lights?" Jake asked as he and Izzy looked at me.
"Guys I found princess, you two need to do a better job watching her. I know you guys want to be alone, but you need to be aware of your baby. And keep an eye on her at all times." I said to them.
"Jake, your going to take Princess, and watch her. Don't sunbathe, or fall asleep." I said to him.
"Oh, come on man I can't even shut my eyes?" Jake asked me as he was annoyed.
" Nope. You are going to watch your daughter." I said to him.
"Fine! But I won't like it." Jake said to me.
"Suit yourself Jake." I said to him.
As i placed princess on Izzy's lap, I handed her sun screen as she immediately putted it on Izzy's stomach as I started to laugh really hard as this was to cute to see. So, I took out my phone and took a picture of it.
Izzy's POV
As I woke up to see Princess on my chest I saw her putting sunscreen on my stomach.
"What are you doing Princess?" I asked her.
"Sunscreen Mommy." Princess said to me as I looked at Jake as I was annoyed.
"Oh you think it's funny huh Jake? Well, let me show you how it feels like." I said to him as I took the sunscreen and squirted it all over Jake's face after I placed Princess on the sand.
"Hey why'd you do that for?" Jake asked me. .
" Don't ever let princess do that to me, while I'm sleeping." I said to her.
" It was funny." Jake said to me.
"It's not funny Jake." I said to him as he wiped the sunscreen off his face.
Cubby's POV
As I came back from the bathroom, I saw Jake with something on his face.
"Jake, you got a little something on your face." I said to him.
"Yeah, I know." Jake said to me as he grabbed a towel and wiped the sunscreen off his face.
"What happened while I was using the restroom?" I asked them.
"Well, while I was sunbathing, I woke up see Princess putting sunscreen on my stomach and that when I got up placed princess on the sand, and squirted sunscreen onto Jake's face." Izzy said to me.
"Wow, Jake, you look like a clown." I said to him.
"Daddy clown hahaha!" Princess said to him while laughing.
"Hey Izzy, we should buy Jake a wig and a clown nose hahaha." I suggested to her.
"Cubby, we're not doing that. And that's not nice, and funny." Izzy said to me.
"Oh come on, it's hilarious." I said to her.
As I said that, everyone started to laugh at Jake.
"Stop it, leave me alone." Jake said to them as they kept on laughing.
Izzy's POV
As this was getting out of hand, I stepped in to protect Jake.
"Hey, nobody laughs at my boyfriend, nobody. So, go back to what you're doing now." I said to them as they left.
"Cubby, stop laughing." I said to him as I was sitting down next to Jake.
"I'm sorry Jake, it's all my fault I should have never squirted you with sunscreen." I said to him.
" Just leave me alone." Jake said to me.
"Jake, I'm only trying to help." I said to him.
"Help? Help, I got humiliated by everyone, and you're saying that you're only trying to help? Do me a favor Izzy, it don't help me at all. We're going back to the hotel now." Jake said to me as we left as Cubby grabbed Princess.
Jake's POV
As we arrived at the hotel, Bart was in the hallway.
"Hey Jake, witch clown nose do you want red, or green? hahaha!" Bart said to me as I just went inside as my Maties followed as I just went in the room slamming the door.
Izzy's POV
As I was thinking about about what I have done, I went into the room and sat down on the bed.
"Jake, Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Get out! Get out Izzy. You really hurt my feelings today. Not only that, I got humiliated by everyone." Jake said to me.
" Jake I'm sorry about that, I don't know it was going to get to that point. Please forgive me." I said to him.
"I accept your apology Izzy." Jake said to me as we hugged.
As we were hugging, Jake got me soaking wet with his bathing suit.
"Jake, you're getting me all wet." I said to him.
"I don't care, yeah my girlfriend you look so beautiful when you're wet anyway." Jake said to me as I blushed.
" Izzy, can you stay with me?" Jake asked me.
"You don't want to be alone?" Izzy asked me.
"No!" Jake said to me as I laid down in the bed resting my head on his shoulder.
Jake's POV
As Izzy was laying down on the bed resting her head on my shoulder, I started to turn and get her wet again.
"Jake, what are you doing?" Izzy asked me.
"Calm down Izzy, I'm just getting you wet again." I said to her as I rubbed my body all around her as I was taking my bathing suit off and squeezing it on her hair.
"Oh Jake, so romantic!" Izzy said to me as I kept getting her wet.
As I was still getting Izzy wet, I heard snoring coming from her.
"Aw, Izzy is so cute when she's sleeping.
So, as I got off the bed, I covered Izzy with a clean blanket, and kisses her cheek.
"Sweet dreams my love." I said to her as I went into the living room while closing the door.
As I sat on the couch, Cubby spoke.
"Jake I am so sorry for laughing at you today. Can you ever forgive me?" Cubby asked me.
" Of course I can Cubby, you are my little brother, I'll always forgive you." I said to him as we hugged.
"Daddy, okay now?" Princess asked me.
"Yeah, daddy's okay now sweetie." I said to her as I picked her up and kissed her as I also did a raspberry on her tummy as she giggled.
"Jake, you and Izzy, are going to make great parents." Cubby said to me.
"Thanks Matey, I bet you and Stormy are going to make awesome parents." I said to him.
" Hey maybe we can babysit each other's kids in the future." Cubby suggested to me.
"I would love that!" I said to him.
"Hey, Jake, do you think, Izzy's knee is going to be okay?" Cubby asked me.
" Yeah, Izzy's knee is going to be fine. Besides the competition is coming really soon, so I hope she'll be better when that day comes." I said to him.
"I hope her knee gets better." Cubby said to me.
"I don't know Cubby, because there might be a possibility for her to get surgery on her knee if she damages it even more." I said to him.
"Oh no, then she won't be able to dance with you." Cubby said to me.
"And that's my biggest worry, right now." I said to him.
"Jake, don't worry I'm sure she'll be fine. I mean if she does damage her knee more, and if she does get surgery on it, what are you going to do?" Cubby asked me.
"I don't know buddy, but Izzy is my dance partner, and I don't want to be a fool out there, or look like one." I said to him.
" cubby, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to make sure Izzy doesn't put weight on her knee, I'm also going to make sure she doesn't damage it. because she is my dance partner, and I do not want her to be in surgery." I said to him.
"That's the spirit Jake! See, you know what to do." Cubby said to me as I smiled.
"By the way, where is Izzy?" Cubby asked me.
"Oh, she fell asleep." I said to him.
"Figures, she would fall asleep." Cubby said to me.
"I know." I said to him.
So, as I got up from the couch, Princess and I went to check on Izzy. As I opened the door, she was still sleeping.
"Mommy's still sleeping." I said to Princess as I closed the door.
