Chapter 1
Ryder was shocked while sitting in the lookout . He dropped the letter he just read from his parents and at the boy standing in front of him . He looked at the kid who had blue hair with green eyes and had a part on the left as hair covered one of left eye . He noticed he was wearing a school uniform shirt that was white and a blue bow tie and blue shorts and brown shoes that was for a private school in BarkingBurg and a black leather jacket on top of it that was not part of the uniform . He took a seat and sighed looking at the letter again on the floor thinking about what he read . " Sorry Ryder to tell you this all of a sudden son but you have a half brother since he lost his mom will be taking him in since I am his dad and your mom is supporting this even thou she is angry with me and his name is Chris . He then looked up and noticed Chris scratched his face as Chase , Marshall , Skye , Rubble , Zuma , and Everest introduced themselves to his half brother .
Chris looked at his brother and sighed taking a seat next to him . " I get this must be shocking Ryder it was for me as well my mom never said anything about my dad I had no clue about him or you " he said . he noticed Ryder was lost in thought . He looked in his pocket and took out a piece of a meteor . He read Ryder mind and took a breath " I am going to go " he said getting up . he then felt Ryder grabbed his hand before hugging him . he smiled and took a breath hearing Ryder's thoughts " don't leave " he then noticed chase saw the piece of the mighty meteor and placed it back in his pocket . " Listen brother wow that's strange to say I have a piece of a certain meteor I found it in BarkingBurg and it gives me the super power to read minds " he said .
Ryder took a breath and chuckled " I see the mighty meteor " he said . he let go of the hug " you should not read people minds Chris " he said a little annoyed and rubbed his forehead . He noticed Chris offered his piece of the meteor after taking it out of his pocket . " keep it your not a super villain so it's fine anyway , let's go and get some dinner at porter's cafe " he said as Chris nodded along with the pups . He left the lookout following Chris and the pups . " a brother Hun , I think we might get along " he said .
