Chapter 2
Mr. Porter saw Ryder , rubble , chase , Skye , Zuma , marshall , and Everest . he then noticed an extra person with them wearing a uniform for a school in BarkingBurg and was wearing a leather jacket that was not part of the uniform . He noticed that the boy had blue hair and a part on the left and green eyes . He nodded as Ryder introduced Chris to him as his half brother . He shook Chris hand " welcome to adventure bay " he said leading them to a table big enough for all of them and placed menu's in front of them . " take your time " he said giving bowls of water to the pups and glasses to Chris and Ryder .
chase noticed the silence as Chris and Ryder were drinking thier water . He took a breath and smiled drinking his water and looked to Ryder . " um Ryder sir don't you have some questions about Chris school life in BarkingBurg " he asked as Ryder shook his head and looked to Chris who rubbed the back of his head . " so Chris how much of Ryder's mind did you read with your superpower of being able to read minds " he asked . he noticed Chris apologized as he saw Harold humdinger ran over from the table he was siting at and looked at Ryder half brother .
Harold humdinger looked at Chris and then Ryder " i thought thier were no more pieces of the mighty meteor left " he said slamming his hand on the table . He noticed Ryder introduced his half brother and calmed down for a minute . " nice to meet you I guess " he said heading back to the table he was siting at with mayor humdinger .
Chris picked up the menu and then at Ryder " I thought about reading his mind but did not anyway who was that brother " he asked . He nodded as Ryder explained that was Harold humdinger nephew to mayor humdinger . he nodded and looked at the burger on the menu " I'll have a porter burger and fries " he said at the same time as Ryder . He took a breath and relaxed about my school in BarkingBurg it was alright I kinda kept to myself and the student council president is the one who gave me this leather jacket when I won the position from him in am election " he said noticing Ryder crossed his arms . " oh I had the meteor but did not use it since the former president was my best friend " he said .
Ryder hugged Chris and smiled as he got an alert " mayor goodway what is the emergency " he asked and noticed Chris listened as well while taking a sip of his water . He then nodded and smelled smoke and flames . " Mayor goodway I see a truck by accident crashed and cashed a gas leak and caused porter's cafe to have a fire , we will take care of it because no job is too big and no pup is too small " he said .
Chris placed his hand on his chin " brother this is my first time helping you and I have an idea since we can't make it to the lookout or the paw patroller " he said . he and noticed Ryder nodded and heard Ryder think " I kinda have a felling what your thinking bro but your not getting the piece of the mighty meteor back " while holding his peace of the mighty meteor . He walked over to Harold and read his thoughts " you can keep my piece of the mighty meteor but in exchange make me and the paw patrol power badges because you noticed the gas and fire " he said placing the piece of the meteor on the table .
Harold humdinger took a breath and looked at Chris " fine but then you and the paw patrol owe me one and I need Ryder to say I can keep the piece of the mighty meteor plus more demands later " he said as Ryder walked over and nodded fine as looked at Chris and Ryder and the pups and grabbed the piece of the meteor and made the power badges . " Well good luck heros " he said laughing and noticed Chris read his thoughts
. " oh the badges won't break but they might become addicted to thier super powers " he said as the paw patrol finished saving the day as the mighty pups .
