Chapter 92 Izzy stays at the hospital for a couple of days

Jake's POV

As we were in the hospital room with Izzy, I was sitting on a chair while holding her hand.

"Hey, you doing okay, Izzy?" I asked her.

"Huh, oh, yeah I'm fine Jake, just worried about if I'm going to be able to dance again." Izzy said to me.

" Hey, don't worry, you'll be able to dance again once your knee is fully healed." I said to her.

" I hope, so Jake." Izzy said to me.

As Izzy and I were talking, Dr. Lynch came in the room.

"Oh, hello Ms. Green! So, your going to stay in the hospital for a couple of days, just do we can monitor you and check your knee to see if it's healing properly." Dr. Lynch said to her.

"Oh, I understand." Izzy said to him.

"I'm glad you do!" Dr. Lynch said to her.

As Dr. Lynch was checking Izzy's knee, I was sitting on the chair holding Princess in my arms while the Dr. Lynch did his thing.

"What is he doing to mommy?" Princess asked me.

"He's checking her knee." I said to her.

"Okay, daddy." Princess said to me as I kissed her forehead.

"Ms. Green, I'm going to take you for another x-ray." Dr. Lynch said to her.

" Okay." Izzy said to him as he picked up Izzy and placed her in a wheelchair.

"Izzy, good luck!" I said to her as I kissed her forehead.

Izzy's POV

As Dr. Lynch was pushing my wheelchair, I was getting nervous about the x-ray. Once we arrived at the x-ray room, Dr. Lynch laid me down on the bed. As he started the machine, I started to breath in and out. Once the x-ray was done, Dr. Lynch places me back on the wheelchair and pushed me back to my room.

Jake's POV

As we were waiting for Izzy to come back, Princess asked me a question.

"Mommy going to be okay?" Princess asked me.

"Yes sweetie, mommy is going to be okay." I said to her.

" Jake, if Izzy can't dance in time for the Regionals, what is plan B?" Izzy asked me.

" Well we're going to have Amanda replace her, and James Riley will do the finals." I said to him.

" Oh, good plan!" Cubby said to me.

"Thanks!" I said to him.

As we saw Izzy coming back with Dr. Lynch, she was laid back on her bed and her leg in a pillow to rest it.

"Hey, Iz, how did it go?" I asked her.

"It was fine, I guess." Izzy said to me.

"Well, I have her x-ray results right here!" Dr. Lynch said to us as he placed them on a white board with a light coming through it.

"So dr. Lynch, what do you see inside my knee?" Izzy asked him.

" Well Izzy, inside your knee, we put in screws and plate, your patella is put back together, in place as if the being held by plates and screws." Dr. Lynch said to her.

" Ah, I understand Dr. Lynch, but how long will it take for my knee to completely heal?" Izzy asked him.

"It will take ten weeks, for your knee to completely heal, Izzy." Dr. Lynch said to her.

" so I won't be able to dance with Jake for 10 weeks?" Izzy asked him.

"That is correct!" Dr. Lynch said to her.

"Oh my gosh, so that's after the Regionals." I said to myself.

"Wow that is just sad, guys." Cubby said to us.

"Well, I leave you guys to it." Dr. Lynch said to us as he left to continue his job.

After Dr. Lynch left, Izzy started to cry.

"Why, why does everything always happen to me? Now, since I'm going to be in the hospital for a couple of days, I won't be able to dance with my boyfriend at the Regionals that's coming up in four weeks." Izzy said to herself as she started to cry hard.

"Iz, are you okay? What's the matter, pumpkin pie?" I asked her holding my hand onto hers.

"Well, Jake I am upset that I can't even join you guys during the Regionals." Izzy said to me.

"Oh, yeah, that is a bummer." I said to her.

"Hey, hey, Iz don't cry.' I said to her as I patted her back to help her calm down.

"Sorry, Jakey, I just want to dance so badly." Izzy said to me.

"So, what am I going to do for the ten weeks?" Izzy asked us.

"Well you are going to rest your leg pain 10 weeks on your bed when we get home." I said to her.

"And you're not allowed to move around or walk on your leg, either." Cubby said to her.

"No, moving around, mommy!" Princess said to her.

"Okay okay I got it no moving around. God, you guys don't need to rub it in." Izzy said to us.

"We're only trying to make things, safe for you." I said to her.

"How long is a couple of days do I have to be in this hospital?" Izzy asked us.

"You're going to be here for 5 days." I said to her.

"5 days! Oh man, it's going to be boring here Jake." Izzy said to me.

"Izzy, relax, everything's going to be fine." I said to her.

"Fine? Everything's, going to be fine? I hate being in hospitals Jake. I just want to go home." Izzy said to me.

"Well, you can't I'm sorry." I said to her.

"Izzy, just calm down please you have a heart monitor on you, and you don't want your heart rate to go up." I said to her.

"WELL I DON'T CARE, I WANT TO GO HOME!" Izzy said to me.

"Izzy, I think you should come down." Cubby said to her.

"Yeah Izzy, please calm down you're scaring Princess right now." I said to her.

"I'm sorry, I'm I'm sorry, I just hate it here I want to go home I don't want to be in this hospital for 5 days I really don't." Izzy said to me as she started to cry.

"Hey it's okay it's okay Izzy, it's okay take it easy." I said to her.

"I know you want to go home, but right now, you can't. You just had surgery done on your knee, your being monitored, and your going to stay here for only five days." I said to her.

"Okay, Jakey!" Izzy said to me.

"Peppa Pig!" Princess said to us as I turned on the TV as I changed the channel to Nick Jr.

"YAY, Peppa Pig!" Princess said to us with excitement.

"I guess this will make her happy, for awhile." I said to myself.

"So, what do you want to do next?" Cubby asked us.

"I have an idea, how about you and I paint Izzy's toenails and fingernails." I suggested to him.

" Excuse me?" Izzy asked us.

"Oh, before you went into knee surgery, Cubby and I painted your toenails and fingernails." I said to her.

" But my toenails and fingernails are plain." Izzy said to us as we looked at her fingernails and As Cubby pulled the covers revealing her cute toenails she was right.

"They must've removed the nail polish of her." I said in disbelief.

"Well, we can just paint it over." I said to myself as Cubby and I started to paint her toenails and fingernails.

As Cubby was painting her fingernails, I was painting her toenails.

"I have to admit, her toenails are really cute." I said to myself as I kissed every single one of her toes as she giggled.

"Jake and Izzy sitting in a tree." Cubby said while teasing.

"Cubby, please down." I said to him as he stopped immediately.

"Sorry, Jake." Cubby said to me as I ruffled his hair.

"It's okay, Matey just don't let it happen again." I said to him.

" Aya Aya Jake, will do." Cubby said as we continued to paint Izzy's toenails and fingernails.

As Cubby and I was done painting her nails, we started to blow on them so it can dry quicker.

"Thank you boys!" Izzy said to us.

"You're welcome I just want you to look pretty." I said to her as Izzy blushed at that comment.

" But Jake, don't I look pretty everyday?" Izzy asked me.

"Yes, but not with nail polish." I said to her.

"Aww, Jake you're so romantic." Izzy said to me.

"I try, to be." I said to her.

"Hey, where's Princess?" Cubby asked us.

"maybe she's hiding behind cushions?" U asked them as I told Cubby to go look.

"Oh come on, why do I have to do it?" Cubby asked us.

"Because you're the one that can walk." I said to him.

" But your knee isn't broken." Cubby said to me.

" Yeah, but I have to stay here and keep an eye on Izzy. So, you go check." I said to him.

Cubby's POV

As I walked to the couch, I took the cushions off it revealing Princess.

"Boo!" Princess said to me as I fell down.

"Hahaha!" Jake, Izzy and Princess were all laughing at me.

"Hey it's not funny, your daughter almost made me pee myself." I said to them.

" Relax Cubby, I'm sure princess didn't mean to scare you, she was just having fun." Izzy said to me.

"Yeah I guess it was a little bit funny." I said ti her as I got up and tickled Princess.

"Here comes tickle Cubby Princess!" I said to her as I tickled her tummy.

"Cubby, aren't we going to continue Izzy's spa time?" Jake asked me as I got off the couch.

" Sorry, I got in the moment with my niece." I said to him as we continued Izzy's spa time.

r. As I was straightening out Izzy's blanket, Jake was fluffing her pillow.

"There you go, Izzy nice and comfy and straight for you." I said to her.

" Thanks, guys, I love you both." Izzy said to us as she gave me a kiss on the cheek, and Jake's on the lips.

Jake's POV

As I saw Izzy blowing her curly hair out of her face, I went into one of the drawers and found a headband and placed it on her head. That way, her hair doesn't get into her face that much..

"Thanks Jake, that is much better. Now, my hair won't get in my face that much." Izzy said to me as she gave me a kiss on the forehead.

As Jake and just started a massage Izzy's body, she was really relaxing now. Her head was on the pillow, her eyes were closed, and she was enjoying her spa time.

"Wow, this is really nice of boys to do this for me, thanks!" Izzy said to us.

"You're welcome my love." Jake said to her.

As I got the lotion from inside the draws, I started to moisturize Izzy's cute face.

"Jake, thanks for moisturizing my face, with lotion." Izzy said to me.

"Hey, anytime Iz." I said to her.

"Jake, Izzy, I'm tired, so I am going to take a nap on the couch." Cubby said to us as we saw Princess napping as well.

" Do you want me to tuck you in Cubby?" I asked him.

"Yes please!" Cubby said to me as I wiped the extra lotion on a cloth and went over to Cubby and Princess as I covered them up with a blanket.

"Have a good nap, you two." I said to them as I gave them a kiss on their cheeks.

As I went back to Izzy, she fell asleep. So, I just continued to massage her cute face with lotion.

"Izzy, you are so cute, I really want your knee to get better, so we can dance together again. Cuz to be honest, I already miss dancing with you." I whispered to her as I tucked her in while patted her shoulders.

Once Izzy was sleeping, I immediately took a wet cloth and wiped off the lotion from her face.

"Thank you Jake!" Izzy said to me in her sleep.

"You're welcome!" I said to her giving her a kiss on the cheek and pinching it a little bit because she is so cute when she's asleep.
