"Team Seven!" Kakashi called, heading for the door. "Follow me."

"WE'RE TEAM DADLESS, 'TTEBAYO!"

Kakashi faltered slightly. "If you are choosing a team name aside from the number, then you are Team Kakashi."

"TEAM DADLESS!" "Hn." "Team Dadless, Sensei."

"Our team shall be called Team Kakashi since I'm your sensei," Kakashi sighed.

The three Genin darted around in front of Kakashi, walking backwards.

Sakura pouted. "But… What about our name sensei? I just really wanted to have something that I can relate to for once…"

"It's not like it really matters anyway. If you want to name it that then whatever…" Sasuke rolled his eyes, tense.

Naruto somehow pouted even harder than Sakura, and for half a moment Kakahsi wondered if Naruto knew he was Hound. "I guess we'll go with what you suggested, Kaka-sensei. Too bad, I really wanted to fit in for once…"

Kakashi stared at the three Genin. They were not going to give this up, were they? "Maa, alright, we'll go with Team Dadless as a name, it's unanimous!"

Naruto and Sakura cheered, Sasuke smirking.

"So, what are we doing then, Kaka-sensei, 'ttebayo?" Naruto grinned.

"Tree climbing." Kakashi made short work of baffling and then leaving the Genin to their devices.

"WHY IS THIS SO EASY FOR YOU, DATTEBAYO!?" Naruto complained, glaring up at Sakura, who was sitting on a tree branch high above.

Sakura shrugged. "I have good chakra control, we know this."

"THEN HELP US, 'TTEBAYO!"

Sakura considered. "Well, you were always among the worst for chakra control at the Academy, but top for stamina from the very beginning. Chakra itself can boost stamina if one has enough of it which you do, I think, so-"

"GET TO THE POINT, 'TTEBAYO!"

Sakura glared at Naruto. "USE YOUR STAMINA AND PROBABLY-WAY-A-LOT-OF-CHAKRA TO YOUR ADVANTAGE SOMEHOW!"

Naruto grinned. "THANKS SAKURA-CHAN!"

Sasuke stared wordlessly up at Sakura.

"You just need to use less chakra," Sakura shrugged. "I can't really think of anything else that would be an issue for you… Maybe how consistently you're circulating your chakra?"

Sasuke nodded.

Naruto glared at the tree. Lots of chakra, huh? Well, if there was something he was good at, it was going overboard! He backed up, before running at the tree again and, instead of trying to stick himself to the tree, he tried to wrap his chakra around the tree like he would use ropes to climb poles in Konoha.

GLOWING GOLD CHAINS whipped out of Naruto's arms, crashing through the tree and crushing it.

Naruto yelped, rolling away from the falling branches as the chains fizzled out, the tree falling to the ground in pieces that threw up dirt and mud.

"NARUTO WHAT WAS THAT!?"

Naruto stared across the mild carnage at Sasuke and Sakura, the latter of whom had both arms wrapped around her tree branch, and the former of whom was peering out from behind a tree. "I DON'T KNOW!? I DID WHAT SAKURA SAID TO DO!"

Another branch fell to the ground, torn off by the fallen tree.

"I DIDN'T SAY EXPLODE THE TREE!" Sakura shrieked. "WHAT DID YOU DO!?"

Naruto shrugged helplessly.

"DO IT AGAIN!" Sasuke demanded.

"LET ME GET DOWN FIRST!" Sakura scrabbled to the tree trunk, sliding down and rolling clumsily across the ground. "OKAY NOW YOU CAN TRY!"

Naruto lifted his hands again-

"COME OVER HERE FIRST, IDIOT!" Sasuke shouted. "AND FACE AWAY FROM US!"

Naruto crinkled his nose, but scrambled over the debris to his teammates. "Any other demands, Teme?"

"Shut up and do it," Sasuke rolled his eyes.

Naruto grinned, turning back around to face the tree pieces. "Right!" He again gathered his chakra, choosing one of the larger pieces of tree as his target and mimicking what he'd tried to do with the whole tree.

Again, gold chains whipped out, smashing the tree piece.

Naruto cackled. "This is AWESOME, 'ttebayo!" He shifted both arms sideways, the twirling chains once again materializing and crashing into tree pieces.

"Gah!" Sakura ducked. "Watch it!"

"Sorry Sakura-chan!"

"Don't hit them as hard!" Sasuke snapped.

"Yeah, I got that, Teme!" Naruto shoved his now-torn sleeves up around his elbows. Well, he knew how ropes worked! He could figure out these weird chains.

Kakashi made his way back to where he'd left the three Genin to their devices. None had returned so far, so presumably none of them- He balked at the edge of the clearing that was now two and a half (intact) trees sparser, two and a half destroyed trees plentifuly, and one pink-haired Genin running in the trees, one blue-black haired Genin running in the trees, and ONE BLONDE GENIN WITH CHAKRA CHAINS SWINGING IN THE TREES populating the space.

"HI KAKASHI-SENSEI!" Naruto shouted, landing on a tree branch, golden Chakra Chains dissipating.

"Maa, Naruto, what are you doing?"

Naruto shrugged. "I did 'em by accident, 'ttebayo!" A Chain twirled around his arm briefly, Sakura and Sasuke pausing on other branches. "They're cool, aren't they?"

They're a Kekkei Genkai is what they are. "Maa, I suppose so. What progress did you make on tree climbing?"

"Uhhh… Not much…" Naruto admitted. "But Sakura-chan and Sasuke got it! And I was working on it, 'ttebayo!"

Sakura nodded in agreement.

And instead you activated Kushina's Kekkei Genkai, Kakashi sighed. "Well, it's lunchtime, so let's go."
