Chapter 102 A boyfriend helping his Girlfriend
Jake's POV
As I went back to Izzy, she was still sleeping. So, I started to stroke her shoulder.
"Izzy, I know you don't feel good, but i want you to get better and not throw up again." I said to her.
As Izzy immediately woke up she started to throw up again in the bucket.
"Oh come on, why do you hate me universe? WHY?" I asked the world.
" Jake you okay?" Izzy asked me.
"Izzy, the universe hates me." I said to her.
"Jake, I don't think the universe hates you." Izzy said to me.
" Uh, yeah it does, I just said to myself that I hope you don't throw up again. And it made you throw up, again." I said to her.
" I'm going to get the thermometer." I said to her as I went into the bathroom and grabbed the thermometer.
Once I arrived back to where Izzy was on the couch, I placed the thermometer inside her mouth. After 15 seconds I took it out and it was 103.5.
" Izzy you got a high fever." I said to her.
"Is that bad Jake?" Izzy asked me.
"Oh you mean 103.5? Yeah, it's bad." I said to her.
Cubby's POV
As I came into the living room with Princess in her wheelchair, I looked at Jake as he was taking care of Izzy.
"Hey, is everything okay with Izzy, Jake?" I asked him.
" Well, I just checked her temperature, and it read 103.5." Jake said to me.
" Oh, so, she has a fever?" I asked him.
" Yeah, but I am making sure she doesn't get any further.
"Is mommy okay?" Princess asked him.
"Yeah, mommy is going to be okay." Jake said to her.
"I hope mommy gets better." Princess said to herself.
"Don't worry, your mommy is strong." I said to her.
"Thanks, Uncle Cubby, I love you." Princess said to me.
"Aww, I love you too my beautiful niece." I said to her.
"Hey, Jake, do you think Izzy is going to be okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah she'll be fine." Jake said to me.
"Okay!" I said to him as I sat down on the couch as I placed Princess on my lap.
"Hey, ever since we were at the hospital, I kinda missed Stormy a little bit, Jake" I said to him.
"Aww." Jake said to me.
" Hey don't do that to me, you're with Izzy 24/7." I said to him.
" Cubby I have to make sure Izzy's all right. She's my girlfriend." Jake said to me.
" Yeah I know, but I wish I can have that with Stormy, you know being with her, 24/7." I said to him.
" Cubby you see her everyday at the dance studio, you don't have to feel down about that." Jake said to me.
" Yeah you're right, but every time I'm near her oh, I start to get pictures in my head." I said to him.
" If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pictures do you get in your head?" Jake asked me.
" Just me and stormy together, being married having kids, living somewhere New York." I said to him.
"Wait a second, you want some live in New York?" Jake asked me.
"Well, yeah!" I said to him.
"Hahahahaha, oh man you want to live in New York." Jake said while laughing.
"Jake, you know it sooner or later when we get older we're going to have to leave Neverland. And I for one, want to bring stormy along." I said to him.
" But wouldn't Marina miss her little sister?" Jake asked me.
"Well yeah, but she can call her." I said to him.
" Yeah that's true, Marina can call Stormy." Jake said to me.
" Exactly my point, Jake. I just want what's best for me and Stormy. Like what you have with Izzy." I said to him.
" So you want to have kids with Stormy, I mean once you guys get older?" Jake asked me.
"No Jake I want to have a Mountain supply of coconut send to the front door. Of course I want kids with stormy what do you take me for an idiot?" I asked him.
"No, I think you're smart boy. Hey, it's your life cubby oh, if you want to have kids with stormy I say go ahead. But don't do it too soon, wait until you're ready." Jake said to me.
"Thanks Jake, I'm going to leave princess, with you and Izzy, so I am going to call Stormy." I said to him ax I placed Princess back on her wheelchair and left the living room to call Stormy.
Jake's POV
After Cubbu left, it was now just Princes me, and Izzy. Some family time.
"So, Princess, what do you want to watch on TV?" I asked her.
"Peppa Pig, Peppa Pig!" Princess said to me as I turned the TV on as Nick Jr was playing Peppa Pig.
"There you go sweetie." I said to her.
"Thanks you daddy!" Princess said to me as she was now glued to the TV.
"Like father like daughter!" I said to myself.
As Princess was glued to the TV, I saw Izzy waking up.
"Hi, Jake." She said to me.
"Oh, hey Izzy, how are you feeling?" I asked her.
"Okay, I guess." Izzy said to me.
"Okay." I said to her.
As Izzy and I just sat there without saying a word, I just couldn't think about what Cubby said about wanting to spending more time with his girlfriend like me and Izzy. That's when I broke the silence.
"Hey, so Cubby said to me earlier when you were asleep that he wants to spend more time with Stormy." I said to her.
"But doesn't be see her at the dance studio, like everyday?" Izzy asked me.
"Yeah, but not that much though." I said to her.
"Oh." Izzy said to me.
"So, What can we do for our little brother?" Izzy asked me.
"I really honestly don't know." I said to her.
"Mommy, you okay?" Princess asked her.
"Yeah, sweetie." Izzy said to her.
"So, what do you want to do with Cubby's problem?" I asked her.
"Well, we can plan a date for the two of them." Izzy said to me.
" Izzy, you're a genius!" I said to her.
"Aww, thanks!" Izzy said to me as we kissed.
"Wait, Jake, you should not kiss me as I am still sick." Izzy said to me as she puts her hand on my lip.
"Okay!" I said to her.
"And that you did throw up." I said to her.
"Thanks for understanding!" Izzy said to me.
As I went into the kitchen, I grabbed a tray of cereal and a cup of orange juice, and went to Izzy, as I placed it on Izzy's lap as I saw her hit up.
"Aww, thanks Jake, you are so sweet." Izzy said to me.
"Thanks, Iz. I just want you to get better." I said to her.
"Aw, thanks." Izzy said to me.
"So, how is my baby doing?" Izzy asked Princess as she gave her a thumbs up.
"That's good to hear." Izzy said to her.
"Jake, this ceral is really good." Izzy said to me.
"Thanks, just try not to throw up again." I said to her.
"Alright, I promise." Izzy said to me while tolling her eyes.
"Jake, I can't even taste the food, due to my fever and blocked nose." Izzy said to me as she started to sniff.
" Wow, so you can't taste anything?" I asked her.
"Nope." Izzy said to me.
" Well, how about I make an appointment for you and see what the doctor recommends." I said to her.
" No, Jake I am fine, I don't need to see a doctor." Izzy said to me.
"Hey, it's okay to be nervous, but this is for your health." I said to her.
"Okay, I'll go for my appointment." Izzy said to me.
"Well, I have to make it first." I said to her as I chuckled a little bit.
"Oh, yeah, sorry Jake." Izzy said to me.
"It's okay." I said to her.
"I am going to make that appointment for you, Izzy." I said to her.
"Oh, man." Izzy said to herself.
As I started to make the call for Izzy's doctor appointment, I saw Cubby with Princess in his arms.
"Yes, Cubby what is it?" I asked him.
"Jake, do you mind if I go see Stormy please?" Cubby asked me.
"No, not at all, buddy." I said to him.
"Okay, thanks!" Cubby said to me as he handed me Princess amd left the Hideout.
After Cubby had left to go see his girlfriend Stormy, I was on the phone with the operator.
"I'm sorry, the number you're trying to reach has been disconnected." The operator said to me.
"Okay that's just so strange right now, the hospital always picks up, Why isn't it picking up?" I asked myself.
as I tried to dial the number again, it said the same thing.
"I'm sorry, the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected." The operator said to me.
As I gave up, I went to the living room as Princess and I saw Izzy watching TV.
"Did you get ahold of them?" Izzy asked me.
"No, the number's been disconnected." I said to her.
"Maybe they're on a lunch break, or maybe they're just ignoring your calls hahahaha." Izzy said to me while laughing.
" Izzy if I knew they were ignoring my calls, would you think I knew that already?" I asked her.
"Maybe. But the good news is I don't have to go to my appointment." Izzy said to me.
" Izzy, you're going to that appointment. If I'm going to stay up all night trying to call them, I will." I said to her.
" Jake, you need your sleep hell yeah if you don't get your sleep, didn't want to be cranky in this morning." Izzy said to me.
"Daddy going to be cranky, mommy." Princess said to her.
"See, even our daughter agrees with me." Izzy said to me.
"Yeah, I don't care. You need an appointment, Iz." I said to her.
" Jake, I'm going to be fine. Would you stop worrying about me?" Izzy asked me.
" Izzy you're my girlfriend, it's my job to worry about you. For God's sakes you're sick. Your temperature probably went up, you can't taste anything due to your fever, you have a clog nose, plus you've been throwing up a lot." I said to her
"Jake, I'm telling you I'm going to be fine stop worrying about me." Izzy said to me
"Izzy, listen to me if your temperature goes even higher than it is now, you are end up in the hospital again." I said to her.
" Says who?' Izzy asked me.
"Says me, I'm your boyfriend you need to listen to me." I sald to her.
"I don't care." Izzy said to me.
"Well you should, because if your temperature goes even higher.. Actually, you know what I'm going to get the thermometer and see how high your temperature is." I said to her as I placed Princess in the couch.
Once I came back with the thermometer, I placed it in Izzy's mouth.
After 15 minutes, I took the thermometer out of Izzy's mouth. And what I saw shocked to me. Izzy's temperature was now 111.6.
"Okay your temperature is now higher than it was, I told you." I said to her.
"Jake, I don't need to go to the hospital, I'll be fine. You're doing a good job taking care of me, continue that, because that's what boyfriends do." Izzy said to me.
" All right fine, I want take you to the hospital." I sald to her.
"Finally, you understand that." Izzy sald to me.
"Well, I see you're not throwing up anymore, so that's a good sign." I said to her.
" Yeah but I still can't taste any foods. Cuz if my fever, and clog nose.
"I'm sure my taste buds will come back Jake, and I'm sure my stuffy nose will go away, a day or two." Izzy said to me.
" Yeah I guess you're right, all you need is some sleep." I said to her.
"Exactly! You see I don't need to go to the doctor, I have a doctor right here." Izzy said to me as I blushed.
"Just call me Dr Jake!" I said to her.
"Dr. Daddy!" Princess said to me as Izzy giggled.
"Dr. Daddy I'm hungry." Princess said to me.
"don't worry sweetie, Dr. daddy would get you an apple juice!" I said to her as I ran into the kitchen and grabbed a apple juice carton, and ran back into the living room and placed the straw inside the juice whole and handed it to Princesse.
"Thank you Dr. Daddy!" Princess said to me as I kissed her forehead.
Once I came back after throwing Princesse's juice carton in the trash, I saw that Izzy has fallen asleep. So, I took the tray and went into the kitchen to put the dishes in the sink. Then I came back as I then saw Izzy turning grabbing her blanket as she covered herself up. But, I could tell her that she's having a nightmare.
Izzy's POV
As I didn't look where I was going, I got hit by a car badly. I didn't see who came out of the car, as I just heard an ambulance coming, as I lost consciousness. then, the next thing I knew it I was sent to the hospital.
Jake's POV
As I was watching TV, I noticed that Izzy wasn't with me.
"Iz? Izzy? Izzy where are you?" I called for her but no answer. That's when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I asked on my side of this call.
"Hello is this Izzy's boyfriend Jake?" A lady asked me.
" Yes yes, is she okay? where is she?" I asked the lady.
"Sir, come down, I'm calling from the ambulance your girlfriend got hit by a car, and is now being sent to the hospital." the lady said to me as I started to cry.
"Is she okay?" I asked the lady.
"Sir, will explain everything when you come." the lady said and yes you hung up.
After I hung up my phone, I immediately ran to Cubby and Princess.
"Cubby Princess, come with me, Izzy's been hit by a car, and is now being rushed to the hospital." I said to them as Princess started to cry.
"Mommy!" princess said whole crying.
once we arrived at the hospital, I went to the receptionist desk and asked for Izzy.
"Excuse me ma'am, I'm here to see Isabella Rose green." I said to her.
"I'll take it from here!" the lady sent to me who I just spoke on the phone.
"Are you the lady that called me about my Izzy?" I asked her.
" Yes!" The lady asked me.
"Where's Izzy? where's my girlfriend?" I asked her.
" sir sir calm down, Izzy is in critical condition right now." the lady said to me.
"Which means what exactly?" Cubby asked her.
"Izzy is in a coma." the lady said to us. Well, me actually.
"Sir, during Izzy's car accident, the car severely broke her leg, and she might need to get surgery on it." The lady said to me.
" May, may I see her?" I asked the lady as she led me to room 345, where Izzy was connected with tubes all around her even in her mouth.
"IZZY!" I said to myself as I immediately sat down on the chair next to her while holding her hand.
"why did this have to happen? Why? you could have just stayed home, and none of this would ever happen. I should have been there for you. Izzy please wake up please, I'll be sad if you leave me." I sald to her as I pulled her sheets off and saw her leg.
"Oh my God, you're leg it's really damaged, you're going to need surgery on your leg. I'm so sorry this happened I'm so sorry." I sald to her as I cried as Cubby came in with Princess.
" How's Izzy doing?" Cubby asked me.
"HOW IS SHE DOING, HOW IS SHE DOING LOOK AT HER! CUBBY SHE GOT HIT BY A CAR AND YOU ASKED ME HOW SHE'S DOING? SHE'S NOT DOING VERY GOOD. THIS IS ALL MY FAULT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FOR HER, WHAT KIND OF BOYFRIEND AM I IF I CAN'T PROTECT MY OWN GIRLFRIEND? YEAH I KNOW SHE'S SICK, BUT LOOK AT HER LOOK AT HER LEG IT'S BROKEN AND RUINED! THE LADY SAID THAT SHE WILL NEED SURGERY ON IT!" I said to him.
"Izzy please wake up, please!" I said to her.
Izzy's POV
As I immediately woke up, I started to scream.
"AHHHHHH!" I screamed as Jake was right there covering Princess's ears.
" Izzy what's wrong?" Jake asked me.
"I had a nightmare about me being in a coma, Jake." I said to him while sobbing.
"Hey hey it's okay it's okay, it's okay Izzy, it'sokay Jake's here, okay Jake's here Jake's here. Shhhh shhhh." Jake said to me as he handed me the Jake doll.
"Jake, I don't want this to happen to me, I don't want to sleep, because I'm scared I might continue that nightmare." I said to him."
"It's okay Mommy!" Princess said to me.
"Thank you sweetie, but I think your Daddy can help me right now." I said to her as I kissed her forehead.
" Do you want a glass of water?" Jake asked me
"YES PLEASE!" I sald to hom as he went to get me a glass of water.
Once Jake came back with the glass of water, he handed it to me.
"Izzy, are you scared about the dance competition?" Jake ass me.
"A little bit, but I'm sorry that I can't compete in the Regionals, due to my knee." I sald to him.

" hey, I'm sorry you had that nightmare, Iz." Jake said to me.
"That's okay, Jake it happens. I just don't want it to happen again." I said to him as I cried even louder on his chest.
"Shhhh shhhh it's okay Jake's got you." Jake said tl me while stroking my cheek.
Cubby's POV
Once I came home, i head crying coming from the living room. So, I went to see what's up.
"Whoa Izzy, you okay?" I asked her as she shook her head no as I ran towards her as I rubbed her back.
"Jake, what happened?" i asked him.
"Izzy had a nightmare of being in a coma, after getting hit by a car." Jake said to me.
"Oh my God, Izzy it's okay we're here for you." I sald to her.
"I want to go on my bed." Izzy said to us while crying.
Jake's POV
After what Izzy said to us, I started carrying her to my bed bridal style, since her sheets are still in the dryer.
"Izzy, your sheets are in the dryer still, so you're going to have to sleep with me tonight." I said to her.
" But what if I have that nightmare again Jake?" Izzy asked me as I lifted her chin.
"Hey don't worry, I'll make sure you have a good night sleep tonight okay. You're my girlfriend, and I'm worried about you right now." I said to her.
"Izzy, I just want you to get better, I hate seeing you upset. So, please stop crying." I said to her.
"Jake, I don't want you to leave me alone. So, can you stay with me please?" Izzy asked me.
"Sure! besides, Cubby's with Princess so, I have to take care of you anyway." I said to her.
