Over on the Boiling Isles, Luz Noceda of the Freedom Fighter's Coven was in the middle of a fight with the Emperor himself.
"Give up, little girl!" said Emperor Belos as he stood between Luz and the portal. Both were breathing heavily as the battle had taken a toll on them both, but neither wanted to admit defeat.
"I'm going to the human world, and no one can stop me!" he said while shooting a blast of magic at Luz. However, Luz managed to dodge each attack sent at her while closing in the distance before striking Bellos upside the head with the base of her staff.
"Why you!" said Emperor Belos as he managed a point-blank shot to her stomach. However, this caused Luz to be sent flying into the portal door which cracked from impact.
"No!" said Emperor Belos as the door shattered, creating an unstable portal that quickly vanished along with Luz. Over on Earth, Eda Clawthorne was driving to her cabin outside Gravesfield.
"Another wasted day, King," she said to the dog sitting in the passenger seat.
"No one wants to buy my witch items since they're nothing more than idiots who can't believe in something," said Eda with a sigh. Suddenly, she noticed a light above the road and slammed on the breaks. She also heard something that sounded like it had hit the ground near her car.
"What was that?" asked Eda before getting out of the vehicle. Once out of the car she heard moaning from a nearby mud hole.
"A ki… a witch," said Eda while looking at Luz who was lying in the mud while unconscious. Her whole outfit and even her face was slightly covered in mud thanks to the hole that she had fallen into and the mask she had been wearing had also fallen off slightly.
"This is too good," she said with a device smile.
