Sakura gently tugged Haku's kimono to smooth out the wrinkles, carefully not letting her tears hit the fabric. That was it. This was why she had wanted to become a Shinobi: to protect.

Haku had died exactly as her father had: protecting.

She nodded to Naruto, and brilliant gold Chakra Chains gently lifted Haku, lowering him into the grave next to Zabuza.

The Chains fizzled out, and Kakashi buried the bodies in dense earth.

Sasuke came over, Zabuza's sword hefted on his back and glinting in the sunset, freshly-cleaned.

Sakura smiled, looking up at the banner. Team Dadless had, of course, told Tazuna what had happened, and it seemed that he had taken it to heart.

Naruto grinned. "Think he'd like it, 'ttebayo?"

Sakura chuckled. "Yeah."

"I'd like it," Sasuke hummed.

Sakura was going to make sure that it wasn't a death that made a legacy for her friends. Not again.

Kakashi hadn't brought any Jutsu scrolls with him, but that didn't mean he couldn't teach the kids any Jutsu or just… write down a Jutsu or two for the way back to Konoha.

Take that Gai. He could multitask.
