Trey had to go and fuck himself over by falling for another ranger. Cassie and Micki were different in many aspects but this wasn't what he expected or planned to happen once his relationship with the latter blew up. And Cassie had her own issues that she's struggling to work through but that's fine, so did he.
Cassie leaned over and kissed Trey before wrapping her arms around him. "You hungry?"
He snorted. "Sure, let's eat. What do you want?"
"You're the best," she murmured.
"Always," Trey joked.
Trey and Cassie somehow fit together even though they were polar opposites.
