Meanwhile, Luz had snuck behind a building where she managed to change her outfit with magic.
"That's definitely a portal to the Isles, and my ticket home," said Luz at the same time she put her mask on and grabbed her magic staff. Suddenly, she heard screams coming from the crowd back at the market.
"What's going on?" asked Luz as she peaked around a corner in time to see a Slitherbeast spitting goo at everyone.
"How did a Slitherbeast… Belos," she said while glaring back at the portal which began to close.
"I'm going to make him pay this time for sure," said Luz as she sat on the magic staff which had started to float. It was at that time that she heard Amity and the other two yelling.
"Help, someone please help us!" screamed Amity who had been trapped in goo along with Gus and Willow.
"Just what is that monster, is it something from the underworld?" asked Gus who was struggling in vien to get free from the goo.
"At least Luz got away," said Willow as the Slitherbeast walked toward them. However, it was soon blown away by a fireball that came out of nowhere.
"Stay away from them," said Luz as she flew above everyone on her magic staff, the portal closing behind her while staring down the beast.
"It can't be," said a stunned Amity.
"A real witch!" said Willow and Gus with sparkles in their eyes. The Slitherbeast then regained its footing and turned to face Luz.
"I lost my chance to go home thanks to you, so sorry if I don't hold back!" said Luz before going on to fight the Slitherbeast. Dodging it's claws before using nature magic to create a vine that threw the creature into the air.
"Are you recording this?" asked a reporter as she and a cameraman hid behind their van.
"Every bit of it," said the cameraman as he watched a hammer made of stone form in Luz's hand before striking the demon with it in midair.
