Hours later -

"Where did you run off too?" sneered Dagur as he walked over to me while I was drawing in the dirt off to the side, he now was dusty and had a black eye with multiple gashes across his body that looked like they had just been treated by the healer, "I looked everywhere for you,"

"I we-went to get our parents… they didn't seem that worried though, I thought it would be fine," whimpered Hiccup hoping that Dagur didn't plan to inflict his pain onto him.

Dagur scowled but sat down next to Hiccup, "Did you really expect that?"

"W-what do you m-mean?"

"What did you even hope to accomplish by telling our parents?"

"To help?" he said, clearly confused.

"When you get beat up by that Snot fellow, does your Dad mind," scoffed Dagur trying to put it in a way that Hiccup would understand, and there was a long silence, "That's what I thought,"

Dagur soon grew bored, and Hiccup was just waiting for him to stomp on his picture, despite his hard work it still looked like a incoherent blob with wings more like a Nadder than a Bats, a little more than a year ago he had seen his first bat, and he had become obsessed with their wings that looked so different from a bird's wings and a dragons wings.

Counting under his breath Hiccup waited, "One, two, three, now-" when Dagur stomped on it in almost glee.

"What even was that?" he asked, Hiccup decided not to answer.

( "You could time how long it could take?" asked Heather.

"The laws of probability said that it would take no longer than 3 seconds," said Hiccup simply.

"I don't think that's how physics works," pointed out Snotlout half expecting to be wrong considering laws of probability and all that nerdy stuff was more of a Fishlegs and Hiccup thing.

"Sorry, by the laws of Dagur," said Hiccup smugly as Dagur groaned, he could make this story allot more epic afterall. )

"Well what was it?" said Dagur loudly, still bored.

"It was a bat," said Hiccup, rolling his eyes before silence followed.

"Come on," said Dagur dragging Hiccup towards a group of probably more Berserk kids, "Guys lets play dragons vs vikings,"

They all groaned, Hiccup didn't know why, he honestly liked that game sometimes when Snotlout wasn't beating him up during it.

"He is the dragon, 5 second head start, GO!" yelled Dagur pushing me as I bolted for my life, oh why why did I get myself into this, soon the older kids caught up with Hiccup and Hiccup had to use his evasive maneuvers to get away, he had practiced a lot during the dragon raids, he could imagine his fathers voice now, "WHAT IS HE DOING OUTSIDE AGAIN!? GET BACK INSIDE!"

Except usually during the dragon attacks there weren't 10 lunatic kids around Dagur's age actively pursuing me.

( "Yeah uh sorry about that," said Dagur sheepishly. )

Darting into a nearby alley to get away from the lunatic kids before Dagur found him, "I know every hiding place in this village, besides this seems like something you would like,"

My first thought was why did he know the hiding spots? Was it because he was always chasing the kids around and had to find them? Or was it because of Ansson- and my second thought was WHO CARES DAGUR IS COMING AFTER YOU WITH AN AXE RUN!

Ducking under the axe threatening to slice off at least an arm he ran towards the chiefs yelling basically attracting the whole village to what was going on, before he tripped over some bushes crashing right into one of the houses with Dagur right behind him and the other kids close behind him.

They then proceeded to wack Hiccup around a bit like a beach ball, with him screaming in protest the whole time.

"Dagur stop it!" yelled Oswald walking over in anger, with Stoick right in tow fuming.

"We were just playing," scoffed Dagur in annoyance that his game was ruined though Hiccup was quick to hide behind his father again when everyone realized the house was on fire! When they were whacking him around he must have knocked a candle down in the house.

The other kids had already ran fearing the wrath of their chief and Stoick the Vast. The fire was spreading quickly as concerned villagers threw buckets of water at it quenching the flames until they fizzled out.

"Dagur come with me right now!" demanded Oswald not even waiting for an answer before walking away with Dagur contemplating whether or not to follow, "NOW!"

( "Uh oh, Dad's mad," said Snotlout.

"Shut up, Snothat," )

"I really did try to keep him from doing this," said Hiccup miserably at another failed job, seriously this was just his luck! The gods hate me!

"He's Dagur," was all Stoick said before they headed towards the Berserkers version of the Great Hall and waited for Oswald. Soon he and Dagur came, Dagur looking slightly upset and angry as he sat next to his sister who started asking him questions.

"Your Heather right?" asked Hiccup leaning back in his chair to see her a few people down the table and she did the same.

"Yeah, I have seen you met my brother," she said with an unreadable expression, "Do you like dragons?"

"What do you mean?" questioned Hiccup, getting more intrigued by the minute as the adults started discussing the terms of the agreement before signing them.

"Dragons, the scaly creatures that breathe fire," she said matter-a-factly with a happy expression on her face.

"I know what they are! Why are you so happy about them, they raze villages!"

( "You will be singing a different tune in a few years," commented Astrid )

"They don't like coming here that often," she said still smug about knowing more than an older kid, even if they were the same size, "Besides my Dad is so curious about them, he has a whole room full of dragon drawings,"

"What's there to be curious about? They are giant fire breathing monsters that attack us! Oooh but fireproof scale armor would be so cool!"

( "Aren't you working on that?" said Snotlout to Hiccup.

"I already did it,"

"Oh," )

"Yeah! Aweso-" started Heather before her brother tipped her already leaning back chair over causing her to fall to the floor with a thud, unlucky for her though she banged her head on the ground knocking her out. Tons of heads darted towards the sound and saw Dagur's arm still outstretched.

( "Rude,"

"Sorry," said Dagur sheepishly again.)

"Uh-" started Dagur before Oswald got up practically smoking with anger, grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the room after he whisked some servants to take Heather to the healer leaving the room in an awkward silence, which was broken by the screeching of a pen causing everyone to hold their hands to their ears.

( Heather and Astrid instantly broke into laughter imaging the scene, a tense room when all of a sudden the screeching of a pen put it to a halt, "

"Uh- sorry," said Stoick, finishing writing his name as the pen snapped in half, his strength tended to do that to pens, especially when he was angry or stressed.
