Wow, Rockie's getting the baking stuff out oh yeah the Avengers holiday party is coming up, where everybody brings food among other things like have fun, I wonder if kids can come.
"Hey sis, you wanna help as you've been really quiet but everything okay." Rocket asked making her nearly jump out of her furry body making Rocket try not to laugh seeing her taking deep-breaths then nodding washing her paws before baking, making Rocket grin as this was what the holidays were about makijg memories with loved ones, hearing her asking where Honey and Maya were alomg with Jupiter and Herbert.
"Ohhhh they went to the mall but I figured yoj'd want to have some fun with me since we've been busy you know." Rocket told her making her guess they took Honey and Maya to see one of Santa's helpers so she was excited to help bake cookies with him asking Google to play holiday music getting cookie-cutters to make shapes out of the cookie-dough which Rocket found a good idea, hoping Roxy wasn't causing trouble which Rocket understood putting chocolate-chips in the dough before he put the cookies in the oven seeing Caseybhelping clean up, relieving him as he'd been worried about that part.
"After they come out of the oven and cool off, we can use the cookie-cutters to make them awesome." Rocket told her seeing her grin grabbing rainbow sprinkles for sprinkling on the cookies after usijgvthe cutters which he was impressed by and heard the doorbell, makijg Casey wonder who that could be, stunned seeing an orange-furred otter female hugging Rocket hearing him chuckle as she hugged him seeing Casey curious.
"This is Lylla my friend from Half-world, she's gonna be staying with us." Rocket told her.
"Okay then, but isn't Gamora your girlfriend, bro." she asked him confused at this.
"Lylla, this is my sister, Casey and weren't expecting you until later." he told her seeing him in an apron which made him look adorable seeing Casey there quiet sprinkling rainbow sprinkles on the cookies she'd made shapes out of including menorah-shaped cookies but was unsure of her knowing that she took a long while to warm up to new people but hearing the front-door opening seeing Jupiter and Herbert returning with Maya and Honey who were sleeping after being at the mall which was making Gamora smile, stunned that Lylla was here hearing Herbert sigh.
"Lylla's his friend from Half-world, and he let her be part of our family and let me guess, Casey's unsure about her, but it'll be okay." Herbert told them smelling cookies from the kitchen, making Gamora grin as Rocket had told her her he was baking cookies for the holiday-party guessing Casey had been helping him seeing him nodding but Herbert making tea for everybody or hot cocoa which made Casey smile a little but was being quiet unsure about Lylla yet, she was happy her brother was happy trying not to giggle as he was dancing the horah seeing Gamora understand seeing RJ back wondering what was going on smelling cookies getting ideas deciding to see, if he could sample some seeing Gamora swipe the platter away.
"Those are your dad's contribution for the holiday-party mister." she said to him.
"Awwww no fair, there's probably leftovers right, daddy." he said looking cute.
"Sorry bud, your mom's right, plus we have to put Maya down for her nap." Rocket said.
"I guess a power-nap won't hurt, after Grootmas and Hannukah-shopping and we just had dinner…." Casey said being in her room after coming home with her mom as after they'd gotten home, Jupiter had asked Casey if she wanted to go holiday shopping with her so had asked Herbert to watch Honey, until they came back seeing him asleep in his chair in the living-room.
Casey then climbed onto her bed cuddling Bento, zoning-out ijto sleep just as Herbert was checking on her closing the door softly going back downstairs ijto the living-room hearing Jupiter ask if Casey was alright seeing him nod.
"She's asleep, Jupe and was wiped out from baking cookies then shopping with you, so Raccoon Girl might not be patrolling tonight which is a good thing." he told her
