Disclaimer: I do not own any characters, themes, locations or concepts from the Naruto or Typemoon franchises. It's all the intellectual property of Masashi Kishimoto and Kinoko Nasu. I just aspire to write awe inspiring fanfics for fun.

A/N: Hey guys, I am finally back and I'm so sorry for all the massive absence, over the last year, especially the latter half. That was just a massive mess. The worst parts outside of the loss family at the beginning of last year was that, I ended up catching both the Delta and Omicron variants of Covid-19 and both of my laptops I had been using crashed and I couldn't repair them. So for quite a while, I couldn't write anything.

Thankfully, and this is truly due to the efforts and commitment of all the people who have supported me on pa_treon, I was able to get a third laptop to be repaired, which is what I am now using. It's not the best, but it works and can connect the internet just fine unlike the last two models. Those two were nearly twenty years out of date.

Anyway, the point is that I am back, though I should warn you that all the tropical cyclones affecting Madagascar right now, are also affecting large chunks of Southern Africa, including where I am in Zambia. So the cellphone company I am using is having a bit of a challenge keeping up with internet for now. I bring this up mostly because after this upload, I have few more stuff I want to update within the next two weeks, and depending on the weather I will succeed or fail.

Okay now let's talk about this story. Spun in Moon Light has been a story I've wanted to write in some form or another since before I started Archer of the Fifth. In fact, many ideas I had for Archer of the Fifth where originally created for various drafts of Spun in Moon Light, which has gone through a dozen name changes at this point. I stuck with Spun in Moon Light, mostly because I'm writing about the Fate series and one of my friends made a joke about the threads of fate.

Anyway, this story will start out during the 5th Grail War with Naruto acting as a Master this time. The war will borrow elements from Fate Stay Night, Unlimited Blade Works and the Heaven's Feel route, while doing its own thing. So it's not really going to follow any one route in particular.

In addition, the Fuyuki Holy Grail War is just the start of Naruto's adventures, I intend for him to go an adventure spanning lots of the other works Type Moon has put out. So there will eventually be stuff from Fate/Apocrypha and Fate Grand Orders at least, not yet decided on what else I will include in the story.

Hmm…I should probably mention as a warning that Naruto doesn't start off with most of his powers, in fact for this particular chapter, he can't even use chakra. Though this is not a permanent thing and there is an explanation for why this happened. Even after he regains his abilities, Naruto will be deliberately nerfed for story reasons, though all his limitations will gradually disappear as he regains more and more of his power.

Before anyone gets upset, the reason for this is because Naruto with Six Paths Sage Mode is basically an anti-Aristoteles by the rules of the Fate universe. In canon he's fought, Kaguya, Ishiki, fused Momoshiki and Toneri on fairly even terms. Each of them have either demonstrated abilities that were comparable to the Ultimate Ones in the Fate series or displayed power comparable or greater than someone who had abilities on par with a Type.

In short, Naruto is by his very nature too OP for most characters in the Fate series, and thus giving him his full power right off the bat wouldn't make for a compelling story. So yeah, I nerfed him, if you don't like it there are other stories out there. This is your only warning, I don't want to hear any complaints about it later.

Next, I feel I should mention that my next update will Born of Fire chap2, a new Naruto/Marvel story called Peace through Victory and An Unorthodox Hero Chap 7, then Sage of War chap 8. I might squeeze in a Self Insert story along the way, but we will see.

Finally, I just want to say thank you to all of you for the support you've been giving me personally and all my stories throughout the last year. Your reviews and PM's, have been so encouraging through one of the more difficult moments of my life so thanks guys.

I also want to say a special thank you to all you guys up on pa_treon. You guys are literally the reason I am able to do this right. Between schooling online, losing my part time job because of the economic crisis created by Covid, volunteer work at the organization I am with and paying my rent, my funds are pretty low and I had to prioritize. So it took a little while to get a replacement laptop and keep on writing after the previous two crashed. Still, thanks to you guys I can continue to do this, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Anyway, I don't want to bore you anymore, so let's get on to the story. I hope you all enjoy this first chapter, and please leave your reviews once you're done reading. They mean a lot to me. Okay, here we go.

Chapter 1: A flightless bird!

"From the day you were born, you've been taking on the burdens of our world. As a Jinchuuriki, as someone trying be Hokage, and now as the jailer of the rabbit goddess. Over and over, you've given everything for our sake and it's grown painful to watch.

What happens next is not what you planned or even hoped for; it might even be torture for you, for a while at least. However, it is my hope that you will finally find freedom and peace, and then live a good life Naruto Uzumaki."

Sasuke Uchiha's final words to Naruto Uzumaki, the Savior of the World.

Homurahara Academy, High School Division, Fuyuki City, Japan…

It was the disgusting throaty sound of someone spitting on the floor, followed by a burst of laughter that made Naruto whirl around from where he had been mopping the hallways of Homurahara Academy in silence. The former most powerful ninja in the Elemental Nations, currently a janitor for the academies high school division, scowled in anger at the culprits, a group of retreating 2nd year students. Four boys and five girls were laughing maliciously as they walked away from him, with one boy in particular looking back over his shoulder with a sinister smirk. A blue haired boy named Shinji Matou.

At the sight of the smirking blue haired boy, Naruto's anger briefly flared to life and he began to contemplate his chances of getting away with kicking Shinji through a solid brick wall. Fortunately for Shinji, he thought better of it. Not only would it most certainly end in the blue haired boy's death, but in the end kicking Shinji around simply wasn't worth it, especially when it was over something so insignificant. Yes he was angry at the little shit, but he was more frustrated at the current state of his life, and so murdering the annoying boy was a bit of an overreaction.

Naruto of course had no doubt that it had been Shinji who had spat on the floor, doing so deliberately right after Naruto had finished mopping the area just to piss him off. He also knew the brat's reason for doing so was because Naruto was always showering Shinji's little sister Sakura Matou with love and kindness. For some strange reason, doing so seemed to really piss the blue haired boy off. It was as if Shinji Matou couldn't help but hate anyone who was even remotely nice to sweet little Sakura. However, Naruto found that he couldn't help himself but be nice to the poor love-starved girl.

For someone like him, it was pretty easy to see that Sakura did not have a lot of friends or positive attention in her life, and that because of this she had developed a deep yearning for it. This was an extremely familiar experience for Naruto, who recognized it almost immediately from his own bitter experiences as a child, back before the villagers of Konoha stopped hating him for being Kurama's Jinchuuriki and began to acknowledge his existence. Their circumstances weren't even remotely the same, but what similarities existed in their stories were enough for Naruto to feel a sort of kinship between himself and the poor plum haired little girl. It was for this reason that Naruto had chosen to be that friend Sakura so desperately wanted.

'Besides, she reminds me of a younger Hinata Hyuga in a lot of ways.' He thought to himself. Both girls had such gentle souls, yet endured incredible hardships in their own lives. In Sakura's case, Naruto had no idea what she was going through but he hoped that she would someday trust him enough to share, so that he could help her. Till then he was resolved to simply be her friend through thick and thin. Of course that also meant he couldn't help but spoil the younger girl every chance he got, treating her to snacks and fondly calling her, "Sakura-chan", every time he saw her. Shinji really seemed to hate that part.

Sighing at the actions of Sakura's immature older brother, Naruto pulled the bucket and mop along to clean up the kid's spittle with a cringe. Mentally, he gave thanks to whoever came up with the rule that in Japan, students had to wear indoor shoes when attending school. Naruto just knew that Shinji would've left muddy footprints all over the place if that rule hadn't been in place; he was such a spiteful little shit when things didn't go his way. That is of course, so long as Naruto chose not to bring the matter up with the Headmaster, Shinji was also pretty cowardly where consequences were concerned.

It was on days like this that Naruto truly hated his day job. Unfortunately, it paid the bills, and with only the most basic form of identification thanks to false documentation that Souichirou Kuzuki – a teacher and possible (definite) assassin – had procured for him, Naruto had very limited options in jobs he was qualified for. Still, he was willing to endure the mind-numbing boredom of cleaning floors, wiping down windows, taking out trash and scouring the surfaces of cafeteria tables, if only to repay Kuzuki-sensei for getting him this job in the first place.

Knowing his history, one might ask how it was that Naruto Uzumaki of all people ended up as a school janitor on a completely different world from his own? Well, the answer to that was complicated. The short and sweet version was that he was exiled here by Sasuke Uchiha on the orders of the Gokage and the Shinobi Union, in order to protect his homeworld from Kaguya Otsutsuki, who had been sealed inside his body at the end of the 4th Shinobi World War.

It was a desperate last ditch attempt to save everyone after everything else failed, in which Naruto with the aid of the nine Tailed Beasts had created the seal imprisoning the Rabbit goddess in the midst of battle. Safe to say, the seal was an experimental prototype at best and a desperate gamble at worst. As such, no one doubted that Kaguya even in her sealed state might someday reemerge and become a threat again. The Gokage and Sasuke had simply decided it was more beneficial for the Elemental Nations to get rid of Naruto, and by extension Kaguya, while his guard was down, by sending them through a one way portal, far far way.

Of course Naruto had some lingering resentments from the experience, after all, the people he considers his closest friends and family had exiled him from his homeworld without his consent. But even exile was something he could understand, forgive and even forget. No, what truly pissed Naruto off and left him reeling from the betrayal was the fact they had placed another seal on him, one that specifically sealed away his chakra circulatory system preventing him from using any sort of chakra again for the rest of his life.

That's right; Naruto could no longer use his chakra. That's not to say that he lacked chakra, in fact his body was filled to the brim with it, he just couldn't use it in any way. This of course left Naruto in a rather unusual place.

When compared to even the most extraordinarily gifted athlete or martial artist on modern day Earth, Naruto was blatantly superhuman to the extreme. Even without chakra he could easily pick up a car over his head with one hand, move fast enough he shattered the sound barrier and fall from tall buildings without any noticeable damage. Hell, if he ended up injured somehow, his regenerative healing still worked fine and would automatically seal his wounds. In fact, it was even more powerful now thanks to Kaguya's presence within his seal than it had ever been, though he did not know exactly why this was the case.

Despite all this, living without the ability to use chakra was pure hell for Naruto. Chakra was part of his daily life back in the Elemental Nations, something he had come to heavily really on every day and something that he dearly missed. And while it wasn't quite like a drug addict going without their fix for a while, it wasn't completely dissimilar either. Life without being able to use chakra was just miserable.

In the end Naruto was living his life in a rather depressed state at the moment, more so than anyone had ever seen back when he was in the Elemental Nations, save for when his loved ones died. Not having chakra honestly just sucked and left him unsure of what to do with himself. It made him ask the question, 'what was a ninja without chakra?', and Naruto did not like the answer he getting one bit. Despite that, the blond ninja clung on to his life even if his life sucked so bad sometimes that he wished Sasuke and the Gokage had just teleported him into a star. He clung to it even if it meant coming to work every day and dealing with whatever shit Shinji and other students that the little punk had inspired, got up to. He clung to it because he was Naruto Uzumaki, and he never gave up.

Thankfully, it wasn't all bad. After nearly three years, Naruto had managed to find his own ways to cope with the strange turn his life had taken by finding enjoyment in the small things in life. Whether that was dotting on Sakura or discussing the finer points of disassembling broken pieces of equipment that the school really should've replaced a few semesters back, with that overly helpful idiot Sakura had crush on, Shirou Emiya. All of it allowed Naruto to keep living one day at a time.

Without people like those two and the various other individuals that made Naruto's life bearable, Naruto probably would've gone insane by now. With a tired sigh, he dragged his bucket to clean up the mess Shinji had made, at some point he'd need to straighten out that boy. The brat could use a good ass-kicking or two, to get his head sorted.

Homurahara Academy Rooftop...

"Yo Sakura-chan, did you need something?" Naruto asked jovially, as he was approached on the roof by the young girl he was so fond of. It was mid-day and most of the students were enjoying their lunch break, so he'd come up here for some peace and quiet, since the students weren't allowed on the roof.

Of course, Naruto was willing to overlook and at times even invite certain students onto the roof, covering for them with the teachers so that they were never in trouble. These were mostly kids that were bullied or troubled and just needed a moment of peace, that or it was Sakura…mostly Sakura. She was so cute and innocent that he let her come up here far more often than he really should. Thankfully, he had talked Kuzuki-sensei into looking the other way, and Fujimura-sensei actually approved once he mentioned that it was Sakura.

"Uzumaki-san!" The young girl replied in that annoyingly formal greeting he hadn't figured out how to make her drop, before suddenly bowing deeply and saying. "I apologize for my big brother's behavior today."

Sighing at this, the ninja walked up to the girl who was still bowing low and placed a hand on her head, to which she stiffened slightly, but relaxed into it when he simply rubbed her head affectionately and said. "You know; you remind me of some of my best friends, Sakura-chan. So kind and so gentle, even your name is a reminder of my old family. I guess you could even say that that's part of why I am so fond you." Removing his hand from her head as she rose to look up at him, a mix of confusion and interest in her eyes, he continued. "I guess what I am trying to say is that you're too kind, which is why I can't accept your apology. In the first place you shouldn't be apologizing at all; you didn't do anything wrong, and while your brother really should fix his attitude, what he did today isn't that big of deal in the grand scheme of things, just really annoying. You should also let your brother apologize on his own every once in a while…or accept the consequences of his own actions or he will never grow up. Seriously, that kid's got issues, something deeper than just a kid lashing out and I am beginning to pity him. Though, perhaps he's just jealous that I am friends with you." Naruto teased, with wide grin.

"You consider me your friend?" Sakura asked sounding unsure and surprised.

Naruto thumped his chest with his fist and confidently declared. "But of course! Why wouldn't I be your friend, Sakura-chan? I mean, you've shared quite a few of your bentos with me while talking about Shirou Emiya, and you are the only student aside from Shirou who really stops by for a chat with this lonely janitor." His dramatic posturing made her giggle, though she tried to cover that up with a cough. With a more thoughtful look on his face Naruto momentarily paused in thought before adding. "Though I suppose, I do kind of dot on you like a little sister rather than a good friend. Maybe that's why Shinji is always lashing out around me? Maybe he's afraid that I would make a superior big brother?" He joked, his eyes twinkling with mischief and making Sakura blush, much to his amusement.

The moment didn't last though, as the bell signaling that lunch break would soon be ending, rang. Turning towards his younger friend, Naruto said. "As much as I would like to sit here and chat with you, your lunch break is nearly over, so you might want to get going before you end up late for class. I am pretty sure that Miss Fujimura "Don't call me Tiger" sensei, would strangle me to death if she felt I was responsible for you being late for your next class, regardless of whether you came to apologize for your brother or not. Lord knows that woman has had it out for me ever since I brought Shirou home late that one evening he offered to help me clean the school and he was too tired to cook dinner."

Sakura's eyes widened in alarm, before she quickly bowed to him and said. "Right! Sorry Uzumaki-san. I better get going."

"See you around Sakura-chan, and for the love of the Log, just call me Naruto already, no need to be so formal." He replied with a chuckle, waving at the quickly retreating girl. Ever since coming to this world, there were very few things and people that made him smile or feel at peace, Sakura had been one of the few people he'd met who consistently could do both.

Despite the dullness of his new life, and the torment of living without chakra, she was like a light in a dark tunnel. Everything just seemed more amazing with her around, which is why he found himself growing to care about her more and more. It wasn't romantic or anything like that, if anything he meant it when he said he dotted on her like a little sister, because he was really beginning to see her that way. Shirou was also becoming someone he cared about.

In this world, those two, Souichirou Kuzuki and even Taiga for all that she seemed to hate his guts for threatening her food and stomach that one time, were the closest thing to a family he had here. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Naruto looked up at the sun to judge the time. There was still enough to swing by the cafeteria for a bite, now that the students were getting back to class.

Sakura could not fight down the blush adorning her cheeks any more than she could resist the sheer joy she currently felt. Not only had Naruto Uzumaki stated that he considered her a friend, but he actually viewed her like a little sister. He even joked about how Shinji-nii was jealous because Naruto made a better big brother than him. That part made her wince internally. Naruto had no idea how close he had hit to the truth with that remark about Shinji.

Shinji-nii was…someone who like Naruto said, was to be pitied, someone whom even she, as worthless and broken as she was, found pitiable. He was arrogant, entitled, cowardly, jealous and ignorant of the truths of the world. He took advantage of others, believed he was innately superior to them and got jealous when someone proved they were better at something than he was. Worse yet, he was easily manipulated by Zouken.

Even with the short time she had known Naruto Uzumaki, the janitor was far friendlier, far kinder, far more worthy of respect and ultimately someone she felt acted more like an older sibling than Shinji ever had. Where Rin Tohsaka had failed as sibling due to family politics and her own coldness towards Sakura, where Shinji Matou failed, because he was just a failure at life, Naruto succeeded by just being a nice person. It felt unfair to have the perfect older sibling figure so close, yet have no way of truly leaving her current family to join his.

She was aware that Naruto had no living relatives in the world, he had said as much the first time he'd allowed her onto the roof. He didn't act like it particularly bothered him, but even with how well guarded he originally kept his feelings, Sakura could sense the underlying emotions of loss and loneliness deep within him. Something she was only able to recognize due to her own experiences since becoming a Matou.

Ever since that day, she'd come to see Naruto more and more like an older sibling. Indeed, he was what she felt she and Rin could've been if she'd never been given to the Matou family, and what she and Shinji, should've been if not for Zouken and his pure wickedness. So to hear those words coming from Naruto himself, it left no small amount of joy in her heart.

Of course all things must come to an end, and her moment of bliss was ruined by an all too familiar voice. "You went to see him again, didn't you?"

"Nii-sama?" She replied with a startled gasp, as she turned to find the scowling blue haired boy just around the corner leading to her class, leaning against the wall.

Shinji ignored her reaction and accused with hate filled eyes. "You went to see that stinking janitor again, Sakura. Don't deny it!"

"He works here and he knows me. Meeting him is inevitable. Besides, what you did earlier today wasn't right Nii-sama." She replied turning things back on him. It was a comment that would cost her later tonight, not only because she was talking back at him, but because there were other students in the hallway, slowly making their way back to class. Despite her low tone, they might have heard her accusation, and that did not sit well with Shinji's pride.

"That Janitor is even more of a doormat than Shirou. If Naruto had ever bothered to complain even once to a teacher or the headmaster, I might have developed a small amount of respect for him. Instead, he's just trash. Trash that you keep associating yourself with. I've told you that he is beneath you, a member of the Matou family." Shinji declared darkly. Not so loud that he would attract attention, but loud enough that if any student was eavesdropping, they would hear what he has to say and spread it through the school rumor mill. Put simply, it was a crude method of boosting his popularity, since he was able to almost openly talk trash about a member of the school staff without any repercussions.

Sakura however did not like this, and something in her ignited in that moment, giving her enough of a backbone to say to her brother. "If that is the case, then spitting on his hard work should be beneath you as the next head of the Matou family, Nii-sama."

Once again, she frowned at her own words, and the torment that would come from speaking back against him like this. Where did the courage to talk back to her brother like this come from. There was no way he would let this go. Once might have been written off as a coincidence, but twice. No, he'd do something to assert his position and simultaneously punish her for daring to talk to back to him like that.

However, instead of reacting like she expected and lashing out, Shinji merely smirked and walked towards his class as he mockingly threw back over his shoulder. "Spoken like a true Matou."

Sakura flinched upon hearing those words. What did Shinji know about being a true Matou after all? He was born unable to carry on the family's magecraft, and thus he was spared from the family's horrifying magecraft practices. What did he know about being constantly violated, year after year against your will with no say in the matter, not even the ability to scream for help? What did he know about living in a world without hope or fun or joy or light or any other thing that normal teenagers took for granted.

He was normal, and thus allowed to live a somewhat normal life, or at least as normal as was possible with that thing they all called 'grandfather', still around. No, Shinji did not know anything about being a Matou, nor the suffering which came with that name. Like Naruto had said, Shinji wasn't someone to be hated, he was to be pitied. That said, his smirk as walked away was sending up warning flags in her mind. Sakura hoped nothing truly bad came of it.

Homurahara Academy, later that afternoon...

She floated through the air of Homurahara Academy, intangible and undetectable to all save others of her kind. Her new Master's orders weighed heavily on her mind, particularly the morality of them. She wasn't the squeamish sort, only a rare few Heroic Spirits were completely unwilling to spill even a single drop of innocent blood for their Master, and in her legend she had turned entire rivers red. No, this wasn't the first time she had had to spill blood for the sake of another, however unlike on those other occasions, for once, she truly detested what she was about to do.

Her orders were to wait until school was out and the students had left, and then single out Naruto Uzumaki – who got off from work a about an hour after the students had already left – somewhere he would be all alone. She was to then capture the blond haired janitor and drain him of all his blood, all the while keeping him alive and conscious throughout the whole process. Shinji Matou had explicitly ordered her to ensure that he felt every excruciating second of the experience, and if she did anything less than this, then the next person to suffer would be Sakura Matou, her former Master.

Personally the Rider Class Servant of the 5th Holy Grail War, Medusa, did not want to harm Naruto Uzumaki at all. In the short time since she had been summoned, she had observed that he was one of the few people who genuinely treated her 'True' Master with unconditional kindness and genuine affection. He was undoubtedly a good person, and more importantly, someone whom her True Master considered precious, as was Shirou Emiya.

Naruto and Sakura didn't interact much outside of the school hallways or the roof from what Rider had observed, but she could still sense how much they cared about each other. It was nothing romantic as far as she could tell. If anything, Sakura was pinning for her beloved senpai, Shirou. No, this was more like affection for a very close friend, or the love between two siblings, perhaps even a balance struck between the two.

In truth, it reminded Medusa of her sisters who had followed after her, from the temples of men where they were treated as goddesses, to the barren Shapeless Isles, after Medusa was exiled. Though they endlessly teased her, and could be rather sadistic to her, Stheno and Euryale gave up being worshiped and pampered as goddesses, in order to simply keep their lonely little sister company. Then once more, when Medusa descended into her bloodlust and became the monstrous Gorgon of legend, the two willingly sacrificed themselves to the Gorgon, not to empower it, but so that they would all be united forever. It was an act of love, a twisted one, but an act of love nevertheless.

In Naruto, Medusa saw what she could have had, if only she did not throw away everything for the sake of power and let her bloodlust and hatred of humanity, consume her. Stheno and Euryale might have been cruel to her most of the time, but they were still family, and when things hit rock bottom, they had chosen her instead of running off to greener pastures. They had loved her, and she had tossed that love aside, becoming a monster.

Sakura however was different. Naruto was positively influencing her and helping her grow into a wonderful person, and then there was Shirou who was a bit dense but had also very clearly stolen Sakura's heart. From the very moment she had been summoned, Medusa recognized the fact that her True Master risked becoming a monster equal to or even greater than the Gorgon Rider had once been. Rider's willingness to be summoned to this era was mostly so that she could steer Sakura away from such a fate. Medusa had no personal wish for the Grail; all that she did was simply for Sakura's sake. However, Naruto and Shirou, with their kindness and love had successfully decreased the chances of Sakura becoming a monster, more effectively than anything Medusa could've ever done, and for that she was eternally grateful to the two.

It was all of this that gave Medusa pause as she hunted the blond haired young man down. Naruto was a good person and he did not deserve what was about to happen to him. Unfortunately, the right to wield the Rider class Servant as a Master had been transferred through some form of magecraft ritual, from Sakura to Shinji Matou, and as a result, Medusa was now acting as the blue haired boy's Servant. This left her with no choice but to see Shinji's orders through, and harm...no, murder Naruto, lest her despicable False Master turn his ire on Sakura.

If refusal to accept this order only threatened Rider, then she would not have even considered this course of action for a second. Not because she was a saint or anything, but rather because of how much it would hurt Sakura to lose one of the only people that cared for and treated her like a friend. However, since it was Sakura who was at risk, Medusa couldn't afford to not kill Naruto in this way.

There was an option of attacking Shinji directly and eliminating him before he could use the book to stop her. Unfortunately, even that wouldn't take care of the real problem, Zouken Matou. The head of the Matou household had given his blessing when Shinji explained his plan to have Naruto killed, and he was no doubt watching through the eyes of a million bugs. Naruto's positive influence on Sakura was undesirable to that walking corpse, and so he had no problem with letting Shinji dispose of Naruto through Rider. Furthermore, if she attacked Shinji then Zouken would immediately retaliate against Sakura, for any action Medusa took against Shinji or himself. He was also powerful enough to survive a direct attack upon his person by a Servant, which left Rider at their mercy.

With a silent sigh, Medusa committed herself to what she was about to do, an act worthy of a true monster. In ancient times she had been described as a heartless, evil monster. It was a fitting description for someone who was about to murder one of the only people who had ever shown a person she deeply cared for, any real form of affection and kindness. But for the sake of that person, Medusa was willing to be a monster.

As she prepared to attack the blond young man who was currently mopping the all-purpose sports gymnasium, Naruto suddenly stiffened. It was subtle and near impossible to notice had she been relying on her eyes, thankfully Medusa had highly attuned senses that gave her more information that just sight ever could.

Which was why she noted the way he seemed to momentarily freeze, before shifting his body into a position that wasn't quite a stance, in fact he looked like he was still mopping the floor, but it would allow him to enter a combat stance in a heartbeat. It amazed her that he was somehow clearly reacting to her invisible presence, and Medusa couldn't help but be impressed by his sharp instincts. If only she hadn't been sent to kill him, she would've enjoyed learning more about him in her spare time. Alas, she had her orders.

Materializing directly behind him, she intended to knock him out before he could react and then drain him dry. Shinji wasn't physically present and he had no magecraft talent, so there was no way he could verify that Naruto wasn't awake the whole time she drank his blood, or that he was in extreme pain. All she needed to do in the end was prove that he was dead, and Zouken would be satisfied so long as Naruto was dead. It was a vile deed, but one that Medusa had to perform for Sakura's sake. The best she could do was make sure that Naruto did not suffer, a final act of mercy she could offer the man whose life she was going to take after everything Naruto had done for Sakura.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on whom you asked and how you looked at it, Naruto suddenly ducked under the blow that struck from his blindspot. Somehow sensing the attack and avoiding it.

He suddenly rose from his crouch while twisting and swinging his elbow backwards, as if sensing exactly where her face was. Medusa blocked it of course, with the palm of her hand, but was surprised by the sheer strength of the blow. It far exceeded what a human of this time and era was capable of, even a magus. So much so that she actually took a step back from the surprising amount of force behind the attack.

Her attacker immediately rolled forward and away from her, twisting around as he rose in order to face her, but she had no intention of letting him even see her. In a blur of speed, and with the aid of her supernatural senses, Medusa accurately determined the boundaries of his field of vision, and where they would be focused, before quite literally ducking out of sight and completely avoiding his gaze. She then stepped to his side and blurred past him so fast that even the most highly trained magus of this era would've seen little more than an indistinguishable purple and black streak.

It was completely impossible for Naruto to have seen or sensed her in that moment, which was why it utterly shocked Rider when he still reacted to her. Like lightning, Naruto's hand struck out at her, not aiming at where she was currently positioned but rather where she would come to a stop in a few nanoseconds.

'Impossible. Is he predicting me?' She thought in stunned awe as she deftly ducked under the outstretched limb, losing only a few stray hairs – painfully plucked from her scalp – to his iron grip, as she avoided him again. To her disbelief Naruto wasn't even looking in her direction and the rest of his body was facing the complete opposite direction from her current position.

Quickly astralizing to further observe Naruto's next action, Medusa contemplated her own next move. Every sense in her body was telling her, this seemingly ordinary young man, was in fact, incredibly dangerous. Maybe not Servant levels of dangerous, but definitely more so than any magus she ever had encountered. There was just something completely unnatural about him, and it left her incredibly wary of him…and incredibly curious.

"Amazing!" He declared with an awe-filled chuckle, as he lifted a few of her purple strands to his face, staring at them with an expression that could only be described as hopeful. Having those hairs plucked from her head had admittedly stung both her pride and her scalp, and a part of her wanted to get the spiky haired blond back for that. Naruto meanwhile twisted his body around, looking left, right, up and down as he searched the environment for any sign of her and came up short. Finally he said aloud. "I don't know who or what you are?" He suddenly paused and corrected himself. "No, that's not quite right…I know that this beautiful hair definitely belongs to a woman, so let me start over again. I don't know who you are or why you are trying to kill me, but I have no qualms with keeping you entertained. If it's a fight you want, I will give it to you; of course, the only thing I ask is that we take this into the nearby woods."

Before Medusa could even respond to the request, a request she was willing to agree to, Naruto just took off in a blur of impossible speed, leaving the shocked Servant behind.

'What is he?' She wondered as she quickly followed him, never noticing that it was her curiosity about Naruto that was now driving her instead of her false Master's orders.

Nearby Forest…

Naruto's legs throbbed in pain, as he ducked under the swipe of a nail-like dagger with a long chain attached to it, and leaped behind a cluster of boulders before the follow up attack could arrive. After demonstrating so blatantly that he could move at supersonic speeds in front of this woman, she had taken that as an invitation to stop holding back as much. It was a rather unpleasant change for Naruto who now had to near constantly dodge, duck, twist and flip like a deranged mongoose avoiding the strikes of an angry cobra, in order to just stay alive. She kept pushing and pushing, and he couldn't afford to hold back against her.

Moving at supersonic speeds without the usage of chakra wasn't particularly difficult; his body was still blatantly superhuman when compared to modern day humans of Earth. However, Naruto hadn't been training seriously since he was first exiled to Earth, and as a result he was a little rusty.

Right now though, Naruto was desperately wishing he had even a little chakra available to use and help him fight off this dangerous woman. She was fast, powerful and skilled, and without his chakra abilities she was proving extremely difficult to deal with.

The sole of a boot filled his field of vision as the woman suddenly struck at him from nowhere with a flying kick. His attention snapping back to the fight he was in, Naruto barely got his arms up in a block before the kick connected and he was accelerated backwards and off his feet by the sheer force of the blow. Not even a second after he was blasted backwards by the kick, the purple haired woman blitzed after him and rapidly circled around to his back where she struck at him again, this time in his blindspot.

It wasn't the first time she had done that. Throughout the fight, she had been repeatedly attempting to strike him in his blindspot, while also focusing on merely knocking him out instead of going directly for the kill. With her superior strength and speed, it was easy enough to see that if she just came at him directly and tried to stab him, it would've been enough to allow her to kill or at the very least severely injure him before he could fully react. That was an uncomfortable truth to swallow, but Naruto knew he was completely outclassed by her speed, strength and durability. If not for the woman limiting herself to these specific tactics he'd have already been dead.

Thankfully, the woman was insistent in trying to knock him out with either her limbs or the blunt part of her nail like daggers, from his blindspot. Furthermore, the very fact that she always attacked from his blindspots meant that Naruto always knew exactly where she would be attacking from whenever she engaged him, making it a lot easier to defend against her. And as if this wasn't enough, while she was physically superior to him and had some interesting tricks like phasing in and out of existence, the woman wasn't so much faster than him that he couldn't react to her. Nanoseconds were wasted as she circled around him and tried to hit him from his blindspot, and that was more than enough time to react to her whenever she attacked.

To prove the point, Naruto leaned to the side and caught her elbow just as it was about to smack into the back of his head without even looking at his attacker. Another thing he found curious about his purple haired attacker was that she always moved to avoid his gaze when he looked at her directly; in fact, she was so good at ducking out of his line of sight that he was yet to see her face. Even now Naruto knew that the moment he tried to look at her, she would disappear, either disappearing in a shower of purple sparks or literally ducking behind some form of cover. And with a forest as their battleground, there were plenty of trees and rocks to take cover behind.

Despite this, Naruto had seen enough of her appearance throughout their battle to confirm a couple of things about the woman, the most import of which being that this woman was gorgeous. Whoever she was, the woman that he was currently fighting was absolutely fucking hot, inhumanly attractive even.

Sure he hadn't seen her face yet, but he had seen enough to make out most of her body shape, plus a few extra details. She had purple near-floor sweeping hair, full D cup breasts, wide hips, a slim waist, a rather juicy rear and long sexy legs that went on for days. Take that and combine it with the fact that she was flexible enough to impress Orochimaru, and Naruto found himself more than a little interested in this sexy woman.

'By the sweet sacrificial Log is she flexible.' He thought appreciatively as he snapped a back kick at her chest which she dodged by bending over backwards till she was parallel to the ground, ducking under it Limbo style. In response, her hands yanked at the chains attached to her nail-like daggers, redirecting them to skewer Naruto's current position, in a manner eerily similar to how Sasuke used wires in his shurikenjutsu. Left with no choice, Naruto leaped away from her to the safety of a nearby boulder, meanwhile the woman kept her face concealed once more, using her luscious purple locks as veil over her face.

It was just one of many occasions he had watched her bend and contort her body to escape harm in ways that looked as painful as they were mesmerizing. Hell, he'd almost died already after getting caught up in how she was able to twist her body in midair during one particular encounter when he'd gone on the offensive and she had dodged his attacks. That this was all happening while they were fighting at supersonic speeds made it even more remarkable.

That said, there was one thing that was beginning to get on Naruto's nerves during the fight, or more accurately, was stinging his pride. It was not the fact that she was trying to kill him for no discernible reason; most of his best friend's had tried to kill him at some point or another, so he didn't really mind being attacked. No, what was really irking him was the fact that despite all his skill as a ninja, even a rusty one, she had been able to keep her face hidden from him consistently throughout the whole fight.

Naruto had seen her black toga-like dress, her thigh-length boots and the black arm warmers that covered everything from her biceps to her wrist, all of which had purple highlights. He'd even gotten a momentary glimpse of her surprisingly risqué black and purple lingerie-like panties she wore underneath her dress, which incidentally had resulted in him receiving a painful kick to the kidney, though that brief glorious sight was totally worth it. Nevertheless, despite seeing all that, no matter how hard Naruto tried and no matter what trick he successfully pulled off, the woman still managed to keep her face hidden from him and it was becoming increasingly frustrating.

Without even realizing it, he was being drawn into a vicious cycle in which the more she succeeded in keep her face hidden from him, the more curious Naruto became about what her face looked like and as result he worked harder to uncover the mystery, forcing her in turn to work harder to keep it hidden. Combine this with her attempts to knock him unconscious from his blindspot, and very quickly the fight stopped being a fight, instead it had evolved into a game of cat and mouse or perhaps a race to achieve their self-given objectives.

Her objective was to knock him out from his blindspot while his was to see her face, and as such it affected how they fought each other. All it would take was for her to use her full speed and a focused lethal attack instead of trying to sneak behind him and knock him out, and she would win. All it would take was for him to pace himself carefully and wait for an opportune moment to strike, while using her predictable attacks to maneuver her into the position that gave him the most advantage, and then strike with the lethal efficiency of Kage level shinobi instead of trying to uncover her face, and Naruto would've at least had a chance at winning. Neither of the two were doing that however, and as a resulted they had stalemated each other due to their little game. However such a stalemate could not last forever, after all one side had greater advantage than the other.

Once again, Naruto lamented on the fact that his access to his chakra had been sealed away. If that hadn't been the case, he'd have been able to see this woman's face already. Hell, the whole fight would've ended in under ten seconds if he decided to draw on the big guns he had in his arsenal. Despite this, Naruto couldn't deny that fighting this woman had gotten his blood pumping in a way he hadn't felt in over 3 years. Not even sparring with Kuzuki in the forests surrounding Ryuudo temple came close this fun. The last time he'd enjoyed a fight this much was back in Konoha.

Unfortunately, Naruto could not keep the current pace of their battle up forever. The simple fact was that the woman was stronger than him, and in a battle of attrition, he would lose. So Naruto decided to eliminate such a possibility all together.

Smirking as they clashed once more in midair, Naruto's literal supersonic punch was blocked by the purple haired woman's elbow. Grabbing her arm, he then twisted his body and swung his legs into the air while using the physics of their combined momentum to essentially ricochet his body upwards and into the safety of a nearby tree.

This forced a momentary reprieve as Naruto immediately began leaping away from his attacker, leaving her in the metaphorical dust. However, the purple haired woman was not one to be so easily ditched. She immediately began to pursue him in order to continue their little game, gaining ground at an alarming rate.

Proving to be more agile than him and just as skillful in using the environment, as well as her daggers and chains, it took almost no time before the woman caught up to Naruto. From there, with her pure speed and a barrage of thrown and redirected daggers, she forced Naruto to constantly duck and dodge for his life as they tore through the forests of Fuyuki. It was a sight to behold and the air was filled with sounds trees being shredded to pieces, boulders shatters and the ground exploding as the two figures zipped through the air like fast enough that it rumbled with thunder.

She was more powerful than him, she was faster too, yet Naruto was a son of Konoha and a native of the Land of Fire. He grew up surrounded by forests and even without his chakra he refused to lose at their game, so long as they were inside a forest. His pride would never allow it. It took the blond haired ninja a fraction of a second to locate a tree with numerous small leaves, then another second to find the single biggest tree in the whole forest. Naruto was determined to ensure that when all was said and done and his plan complete, it would be him who emerged the victor of their game.

Moving as fast as he could without crippling himself, Naruto did not need anything to tell him his opponent was in hot pursuit. He hopped from tree to tree as only a shinobi could, spring-boarding off of branches, trunks and occasionally the ground as if the whole environment was a giant trampoline. All the while, behind him, the sound of bark shattering and the ground detonating followed him doggedly like an endless series of explosions. Any place he stopped at for even a microsecond was decimated, and it made it very clear how close his attacker was to catching him. Thankfully, the specialized zigzaging pattern he moved in was designed for just such occasions and made it harder for his attacker to pin him down or figure out what he had in mind. It was a special evasive movement pattern that all Konoha genin were taught at some point or another, to help them escape in the event they were ambushed in a forest by foreign shinobi, particularly shinobi who were stronger and faster than them.

Second passed as his pursuer matched his speed and skill, and then Naruto arrived at his first target. The tree in question was native to Earth, thus not a species he was familiar with, but it had suitably tiny leaves about the size of his thumb. In the blink of an eye, he grabbed over half a million of them, compressing them between both arms as he leaped away from the tree which promptly exploded behind him in a shower of splinters and confetti, courtesy of a nail-dagger slamming into it.

Four more leaps in the span of a single heartbeat and Naruto reached his final target, the largest tree he had seen so far in these woods, though it had nothing on Konoha trees. It wasn't tall but it was thick and strong, it had a trunk that was nearly 4 and half meters in circumference, stood at close to 40 meters in height and had thick branches at 90 degree angles, strong enough to support the weight of dozens of people or even a large tree-house, if someone wanted to build one. Its sturdiness would serve his needs well.

Placing his back to the thick trunk to prevent his attacker from getting him from behind, Naruto then threw the leaves in the air, scattering them in every direction around him. Before gravity could begin to pull them down to the ground below however, Naruto began waving his hands back and forth, at high speeds, creating an updraft that kept the leaves suspended in air around him and near immobile, forming something that almost looked like a protective sphere with an opening on top. As a former Konoha shinobi, knowing how to use the forest itself as a weapon was simply a part of basic training, though this skill was designed more for the purpose of detecting an invisible enemy than anything else. With the task done, he waited for his opponent to make her move while maintaining the updraft keeping the leaves in place.

It was a simple plan based on the idea that lightning would always follow the path of least resistance, that and a bit of shinobi deception. Naruto already knew that whoever was attacking him did not want him to see her face; the purple haired woman had made every effort to keep herself hidden while simultaneously fighting him. So this naturally meant she would attack from a direction he couldn't see, which was why he chose to make a stand on this tree.

Since he was no longer running, the fight would automatically go back to how things were before, which meant that the purple haired woman would try to attack from his blind spot while keeping hers face hidden. He wasn't worried about her attacking from around him, behind him or below him because the field of leaves he had scatter would rustle loudly if she passed through them to attack, furthermore, while the woman's nail-dagger's could punch clean through the trunk behind his back or the thick bough beneath his feet, Naruto would hear it and he was fast enough to safely dodge such an attack. On the other hand, he would see an attack from anywhere else and immediately know exactly where the woman was, which she didn't want. Which much like lightning, left only one direction to stealthily attack from…above.

It was the only area he hadn't covered in thousands of leaves, an opening for her sneak up on him or alternatively, a route for him to predict her attack. Of course she could have thrown a rock or a log into his impromptu detection barrier to distract him or disrupt it, and perhaps if they were truly trying to kill each other at that point, then she would've done just that. No, for the moment they were playing a game with each other, a game of pure skill, which was also the only reason this plan was even viable.

The whole time they had been fighting the woman had only used her body, those nail-like daggers on chains, and her ability to become invisible. Everything she did was through pure skill and these tools, which as a result set a certain tone to how their game had progressed so far, a tone he knew she would not suddenly change or it would be as if she was admitted he had won the game, because she couldn't beat him with the current rules. Naruto on the other hand had used his body and things found in the forest to keep up with her. All these things could be called the unwritten rules of their little game, and all of it had led to this moment.

Stepping forward as he followed his instincts, a second later a nail-dagger slammed into place right where he had previously been standing, coming down like a bolt of lightning from above. Naruto smiled at the fact that woman had taken the bait, even as the entire branch he'd been standing on was sheared from the tree trunk and he began to fall to the ground below. Yet before his assailant could hope to retreat, Naruto wrapped his hand around the chain of the dagger and kicked off from the trunk of the tree, yanking the chain hard.

If he was expecting a yelp of surprise from his assailant due to his sudden actions, he never got one. Instead, just as he was pulling his assailant to himself, she pulled her end of the chain and drew herself to him even faster than he expected. The two met in midair, where for the first time in their whole little game, Naruto was able to get a good look at her face.

'This was not the plan.' A part of his mind thought, and Naruto immediately knew that the game they had been playing was over. Yet the rest of him could not help but look at her face for the first time and take it in. She was…

Sublime

Beautiful

Haunting

Each of them, were words that could've been used to describe the fully revealed woman before him. None of them would've been accurate, for they failed to fully convey what his disbelieving eyes were witnessing. It was simply a fact, that this purple haired woman was not human, not with eyes like those. Square pupils had to be some kind of doujutsu, and Naruto had only ever seen that kind of ethereal beauty in Kaguya. He could never forget how alien the Rabbit goddess was.

Unfortunately, Naruto did not know the danger of looking into this particular woman's eyes, which was why he was caught off guard when his body froze on him. Locked in place worse than when Kaguya used the Temporary Paralysis Technique on him, or at least the Otsutsuki equivalent. Naruto fought it though, moving his limbs to block the incoming attack even as the felt heavier and heavier by the second.

In the end, he was just an instant too slow. It was a moment too short for any normal magus to even call hesitation, even most Chunin to low level Jounin shinobi would've found it incredibly fast, yet the woman had found her opening and struck. The blunt edge of the nail-dagger slammed into his head and darkness spread across his vision.

'Damn, she got me right after I won! Has this world made me so rusty over the years that I would freeze at the sight of a beautiful woman? If I die here, how the hell am I supposed to treat Sakura to an icepop the next time I see her?' Naruto thought as he fell to the forest floor, both satisfied he'd won the game and upset with himself fore freezing at the sight of his attackers face. His last thoughts before he completely blacked out where of the little girl he grown so fond of.

Noticed only by Medusa who dropped to the ground besides his body, Naruto also had a small smile on his lips. Even without realizing it on a conscious level, he had truly enjoyed this little game of skill. It was after all, the most fun he had had in literal years.

VvV

Medusa scowled as she cradled the defeated young man in her arms. He had fought valiantly, like a real hero. He had been up against utterly unreasonable odds, yet he rose to the challenge with an eagerness that was almost bloodcurdling. She had gotten so into it that she had even forgot her original reason for attacking him, turning the whole fight into something of a game between them. A game in which no matter what she tried, she couldn't seem to win as he always successfully predicted her next move and countered. Right up until he didn't.

It was easy to figure out that he was trying to catch a glimpse of her face, and she had done everything in her power to evade his gaze. It had been an exhilarating challenge and her heart soared as they continually engaged in a level of combat that was more of a dance between two partners than a form of violence. However, all things had to eventually come to an end, and their little game came to a grinding halt when he cornered her.

By the unofficial rules they had been playing by, she couldn't let him see her face, so he created a situation that no matter what she did she would have to reveal her face if she truly wanted to go on the offensive. It was brilliant, made more so by the fact that he did all that without using a single drop of prana. He had won their game fair and square, won against a Servant and for that he held her deepest respect and admiration. Yet, in winning Naruto Uzumaki brought the game to an end and her mission back to the forefront of her mind. So she decided to reward him by revealing her face to him, including her eyes.

Medusa, the Gorgon Queen removed the blindfold she had been using to hide her petrifying gaze and attacked him from the very direction he had set up his trap in the hopes of at the very least gaining sight of her beautiful face. It was what he wanted, but also not what he expected. And as the two pulled each other towards one another using the chain of her nail-dagger, as his plan fell apart now that she was no longer playing their game, and as he saw her face and eyes for the first. Medusa paid very close attention.

She wasn't sure what she expected to see in his eyes; disappointment perhaps in the fact that after all that hard work, her face while beautiful was not in itself truly exotic. Lust perhaps, this form was a remnant of something from her past as a fallen divinity, and it excelled at provoking the darker impulses in men. It was something of a miracle that Shinji had never asked to sleep with her, though that was perhaps because he saw her as little more than a tool…and sadly because he had an outlet for his lust in the form of her True Master, Sakura.

Medusa was willing to accept many other emotions as well, hatred and anger for being unjustly attacked by her, fear once he realized he couldn't move due to her paralysis inflicting gaze and much more. She however did not expect for him to look at her with wonder, curiosity, happiness and desire, specifically innocent desire. What was wrong with him, she was here to kill Naruto and he looked happy.

Grunting as she picked him up in a bridal carry, Naruto's body wasn't heavy, it was just cumbersome because of his height. She walked to the base of the tree he had chosen to make his last stand at, the tree where he defeated her in their little game, and then she sat down, carefully cradling his body in her lap and his head on her breasts. Men liked that supposedly, at least she would give him one last thrill before she did what she had to.

Finally, with a tilt of her head as Medusa said. "I apologize for all of this Naruto Uzumaki. I have no desire to harm you whatsoever, but my Master Shinji Matou ordered me to do this, and I can't afford to disobey this order."

To think that there was a person like the blond in her arms, living in the modern age. Had he been born in ancient Greece, he would've certainly been a renowned hero. His skill, his speed, his ferocity and even his looks were worthy of what most people would associate with a hero. Sure he was no Heracles or Achilles but as far as she could tell, he was a normal man not a demigod or even a magus. Everything he had done was simply done through his pure physical ability, something that should not have been possible in this day and age, yet there it was. It left her feeling no small amount of awe at him…and perhaps a more than healthy amount of appreciation. He had defeated her after all, in their little game.

Perhaps it was her pride as a Heroic Spirit, even one with an Anti-heroic to Monstrous nature, or perhaps it was something else that drove her. Yet in the end, Medusa felt nothing but respect for this man as a warrior, and as a kindhearted person that had been so caring to her True master, Sakura. She also felt an equally great measure of shame for what she was about to do to him, and in the process of doing so, all the pain she would cause to all those who called Naruto a friend. Even when doing all she could to protect Sakura, it seemed she would still end up hurting the Matou girl. Still her orders were unavoidable this time.

Affectionately stroking his sweat soaked golden locks while caressing his face as if he was her lover, she inhaled deeply, taking in his scent. On the surface, his scent was mostly sweat and cleaning products, with a touch of ramen in there. Probably a meal he had eaten recently. However, what she wanted was deeper than that, you see, Medusa was using her supernatural senses to discover or at the very least get a glimpse at the true nature of the young man lying in her arms. In essence, she was trying to take a snapshot of the real Naruto Uzumaki, underneath the janitor.

So beneath the sweat, ramen and cleaning products she smelled as she inhaled, she was also provided with images of foxes, nature, kindness, honesty and a joyful exuberance unlike anything she had ever experience. She 'smelled' a forest unlike any she had ever been in, a will that burned like fire, and over all of that was a deep sadness that clung to Naruto like a second skin. Something had happened to him that left him sad and depressed, but he hid it well. This was the real Naruto, not the facade he put on for everyone, everyday, which only seemed to crack ever so slightly around Sakura and Shirou or like just now when they were fighting. It was breathtaking behold, and it nearly broke her heart.

If only she didn't have her orders, she would've liked to learn more about Naruto Uzumaki, but there was nothing she could do now. Even if Shinji wasn't watching, Zouken definitely was, and possibly some other Master or Servant. An ordinary human who could move and fight at his level was too dangerous to be allowed to live or at the very least act freely during the Holy Grail War. Any sensible magus would want him dead or under their control. Perhaps it was just justification for what she was about to do but she thought to herself. 'Better he die gently by my hand than be a slave of Zouken's.'

Then with an almost sexual gentleness, she pulled Naruto closer to her and leaned in towards his neck where she bit into his external jugular vein, drinking deeply of his lifeblood. Almost immediately, Rider felt her Mana reserves begin to rising at an incredible rate; it was as if she was drinking pure magical energy. Medusa was stunned; the sheer power flowing in Naruto's blood was near overwhelming and downright euphoric. This was not something that should've been possible for someone born in the Age of Man, maybe in the Age of the Gods she could've accepted it as normal, especially if she was drinking the blood of a demigod, but not now, not unless...

The idea hit Medusa like a ton of bricks and she was suddenly sure that, Naruto Uzumaki was not an ordinary human. 'He's quite possibly not even human at all. Taking into account his sheer physical prowess and the mana levels in his blood, he is likely a demigod or related to some kind of divine being. Nothing else makes sense.'

All the while she had these thoughts, Medusa continued to drink from him and then drank so more, he was just so tasty. A part of her knew that she shouldn't want this, desiring to drink the blood of humans was wrong, it was the very monstrous action, that had led to her original fall and it confirmed her own monstrous nature which she had been fighting so hard to deny recently. With everyone else she had drained of blood, she took merely what she needed and hadn't had any actual desire for blood. It was all done because Shinji had commanded her to do it, and Sakura would suffer if she did not fulfill that command. As Shinji was not a real Master in the war and could not provide his own Prana to empower her, there really wasn't much of a choice and she completely refused to soil herself by sleeping with her blue haired 'False' Master in a tantric ritual, not that she believed his semen would carry much if any magical energy. In the end drinking blood was at most something practical.

Yet now, Medusa was truly wondering if she would even be able to stop drinking Naruto's blood. Tasty, Heavenly, Blissful, Euphoric, Divine, absolutely fucking Delicious, what words could adequately describe what she was feeling/tasting, as she guzzled down on Naruto's blood. This was wrong, but she couldn't stop herself. Yes, she was meant to kill him in this specific way, but her intentions had been to be gentle and find no enjoyment in it, yet now she couldn't stop herself from consuming him.

The youngest sister of the three Gorgons wanted to cry, both because of the inner battle she was losing against her more monstrous nature, and because of the guilt that seemed to steadily increase due to what she was doing to the young man who had caught her curiosity. She could see it materializing; the feeling she had constantly fought to refute in her time as a Servant, that very thing that had defined and immortalized her legend. Medusa feared that humans were justified in calling her a monster and her very actions right now where proving them right. With each second that she drained Naruto's blood, that fear grew, for this was exactly what a monster would do.

'Why couldn't somebody stop me back then? Why can't anybody save me now?' She thought to herself bitterly, tears suddenly falling down the corners of her blindfold, even as she began to give in to her monstrous impulses. Naruto's body had turned deathly pale as she drained away most of his blood.

Yet despite this her prayers did not go unheard, a certain goddess was listening after all.

Enough! You will release my grandson!

The voice boomed in Rider's mind with more thunder than Zeus hurling lightning bolts, while fiery pain seemed to explode throughout her body and Medusa was physically forced back from Naruto's body with a pained hiss. Naruto was dead or at least dead enough that it really didn't matter, after all nobody could survive losing well over 95 % of all their blood. Yet…flame-like markings sprouted across his form, covering every piece of visible skin except his face. They moved, dancing lazily before her eyes in sunburst patterns and spirals, leaving her very wary of touching them. It was then that much to Medusa's amazement, Naruto's skin began to regain its tanned complexion, and the bite wound in his neck began steaming as it visibly healed itself before her eyes.

'Truly, what is this man?' She wondered.

Just then Naruto's eyes began to flutter, and on instinct Medusa prepared to astralize in order to avoid his gaze. However, as if sensing her intent, his hand shot up and caught hers around the wrist, just as his eyes opened. He was too weak and in far too pathetic a state physically to even utter a word, let alone stop her from fleeing, but then he didn't need to. His eyes told her exactly what he wanted. Stay.

They held no judgment, no hatred, no vengeance, only a mixture of curiosity and surprisingly kindness. It was a bizarre thing to witness even for Medusa the Gorgon Queen. After what she had just done to him, how could Naruto Uzumaki even bare to even look at her like that. He should be trembling in fear, rage or disgust; she still had his lifeblood quite literally dripping from her lips. Anything was better than being subjected to those kind eyes.

'No!' She thought with a bitter snarl. No matter what happened now, the one thing she couldn't do was 'stay', not after what she had just done. Going after him might've spared Sakura, but it was a colossal mistake on her part. Ripping her wrist free from his hand, Rider vanished in a flare of purple sparks, not knowing whether Naruto would survive or not. It was better that way.

If Shinji asked, she at the very least could say that she fulfilled her orders and drained almost all the blood in his body before leaving him in the woods for bugs and wild animals to consume. If he survived, Medusa hoped Naruto would be wise enough to never return to Homurahara Academy ever again, better yet, she hoped he would leave this cursed city and travel far away; it would be in his best interest. And as she traveled back to the Matou mansion feeling great guilt and shame for what she had done, a part of Medusa hoped that Sakura, Shirou and Naruto himself would someday forgive her for what she had just done.

A few minutes earlier, Naruto's Mindscape…

His eyes snapped open as he found himself lying on his back atop what looked to be Hokage Mountain. Naruto was specifically laying on the stone head of Minato Namikaze, his father. It was something he never thought he would ever experience again.

'What am I doing here? And how did I get here for that matter? I could've sworn I was fighting that beautiful purple haired lady on Earth.' He mentally wondered.

As if in response to his very thoughts a familiar voice announced. "I know you are probably wondering how you are here back in Konoha? The answer to that question stands before you."

Spinning towards the voice of his greatest friend, his brother in all but blood and the man who had betrayed him, Naruto gave Sasuke Uchiha glare that would've been worthy of turning the raven haired young man into smoldering ashes. If Sasuke was bothered by this however, he didn't show it, instead saying. "I know you are angry with me and with them." At this he gestured to the village below which had people walking up down its streets, going about their business as normal. It was a sight he dearly missed. "You have every right to be angry, to hate us even for what we did and I won't ask you to forgive us either, we don't deserve it. The only thing I can ask of you is that you let me explain our reasons for what we did, as well as why you are here now."

"…" Naruto chose to say nothing in response to his friend, except give him a cold glare. He was sorely tempted jump from on top of Minato's head to the top of the mountain itself, where Sasuke was standing and clock the bastard all the way to the other side of the mountain.

Sighing at his lack of response, Sasuke stated more than asked. "So you won't speak to me."

Scowling at his friend Naruto replied. "You brought me here, you're the one who has some explaining to do traitor."

"I suppose it's fair that you call me that." Sasuke said as his shoulders slumped and his head lowered in shame. This however only lasted for a few seconds before he shook his head and said. "You know more-or-less why we banished you. The threat of Kaguya was too great to tolerate and so we decided that you and by extension Kaguya who lives on sealed inside you, should be removed from the picture. The initial plan was to kill you; you created sympathetic matrices in your seal when you and the Tailed Beast's first created it, sympathetic matrices that linked your life-force to Kaguya's. In short killing you would've killed her, and the Raikage as well as the Tsuchikage both believed this was the most practical and efficient method of protecting our world from the threat of Kaguya. However, I had a different solution."

Naruto sighed as he looked away from his old rival. A part of him new where this was going and was even happy about it, in the last three years he had always wondered why he had been betrayed and if he had truly been betrayed by his home. After all of the love, acceptance and kindness Tsunade and Kakashi and so many more had poured out on him, why did they suddenly turn on him all at once. This explanation from what he was gathering meant that they had done what they did because there was no other choice or rather because the only other choice was extremely undesirable.

It didn't really lessen the sting of the betrayal, not yet at least. He had spent 3 years silently fuming and raging at them, plus it didn't explain why they cut off his ability to use chakra. However, it was at least a start.

"Why? Why did you do this to me? I trusted you." He accused his friend. His emotions were not as heated as he had expected them to be in this moment. Instead he was driven more by a need for answers.

"I know." Sasuke said softly, before adding. "It's because I simply couldn't bring myself to kill you, especially when I was the only one who even could."

Naruto had no words for the man upon hearing that. Finally slumping to the ground, he stared down at the village below for a time, burning the sight of his home into his mind. Eventually he said. "This place isn't real, right?"

"It's not real." Sasuke confirmed with a nod. "I spent a whole day just watching the village from up here and various other locations with my sharingan in order to create a framework that was near identical to it, for this mental plane. All this is essentially based on the Infinite Tsukuyomi, except, you are not meant to stay here trapped in a dream. We designed it so that if you were ever injured severely enough that you were near death or went through some devastating mental trauma, this place would protect you from the worst of it. Alternatively, once you knew it was here, if you ever missed home really badly, you could come and explore this place. Of course you would need to concentrate and find the patience to search your inner most self in order to just make your way down here; however that is no big deal for a master of senjutsu such as yourself. I should warn you though, the people are not real but you can go anywhere in the village and anything you eat will smell and taste like the real thing."

"Anything I eat?" Naruto asked surprised that he could eat things in this mental replica of his home.

In response Sasuke smiled and said. "I memorized the smells and tastes of everything available on the menus of Yakinoku Q, Ichiraku Ramen and half a dozen other places."

Shocked he asked. "Why?" Sasuke after all wasn't big on ramen, and Naruto had tried to convert his friend on many occasions and failed. It was sadly one of Naruto's biggest regrets.

"The result of my choice was that you would be forever banished from our home. So I decided that at the very least a piece of it should go with you." Sasuke explained in a somber tone. Clearly it was something that weighed heavily on him.

Chuckling lowly he gave his friend a grin and muttered loud enough for the Uchiha to hear. "You damn over achiever."

Sasuke mirrored his grin and replied. "Not all of us can afford to be losers like you."

Snorting at the response, he looked back at the village below and the forest surrounding it, reveling it the feeling and a million memories he had made in his homeland while growing, before smiling as he said to his rival. "Thank you."

Once more they descended into silence and just watched the village below them. This was home even if it was just a replica of the original. It was a piece of his home, and brought to him a feeling he hadn't felt in over three years, peace. Time flew by as they watched in silence and after an indeterminable amount of time had passed Naruto finally said. "I'm dying aren't I? Out there I mean."

To his surprise Sasuke shook his head and said. "No, you're not."

"But you said this place protects me from the mental trauma of experiencing near fatal injuries, and I was in a dangerous fight just before I ended up here. How am I not dying exactly?" Naruto asked, recalling what he had been doing on the outside. The beautiful woman in purple had certainly tried to knock him unconscious while they were playing their little game, but that finishing move hers was an actual finishing move. He'd been hopeless against her.

Sasuke simply sighed in amusement, giving Naruto an almost pitiable look in the process as he said. "You underestimate exactly how hard you are to kill Naruto."

"I'm powerless now." Naruto pointed out.

Shaking his head Sasuke explained. "Your ability to use chakra was sealed away, yes, but that is a very different thing from being powerless as you put it. A seal can be opened and closed after all."

"Wait! Why would you include something like that in your seal?" He asked shocked that Sasuke would even think about doing something like that, much less tell him

"Isn't it obvious? We both know that the seal you created to hold Kaguya will not last forever. If she'g going to get out anyway, then it's only natural that I set things up so that you would return to full power and hopefully grow stronger before she broke out of the main seal and terrorized whatever unfortunate world you ended up on." Sasuke said while smirking, before adding. "Oh, and by the way Gaara, Mei, Kakashi and Tsunade were all in on the plan."

"What? No way!" Naruto exclaimed in disbelief, yet a part of him knew Sasuke was not lying. Kakashi and Tsunade were pretty much family and if the plan was to release Naruto's ability to use chakra again after he was exiled, he could see them being in or it. Gaara was another dear friend on par with Sasuke in many ways, and Mei…well, the two of them had had a short fling together after the war. He could understand why Sasuke would let them all in on his plan, not to mention they were all leaders of three of the five Great Shinobi Nations. Collectively they influenced half of the shinobi union.

Reinforcing Naruto's opinion of them, Sasuke said "Hey, the alternative was to kill you. Do you really think any of us would've agreed to that?"

"No." Naruto said flatly. Even in his lowest moments over the past three years, when he was raging at their betrayal, he never once imagined them ever wanting to kill him. There was no version of reality he could ever imagine them trying to kill him.

Smiling Sasuke said. "I'm glad you still have a little faith in us even after what we did to you." That smile didn't quite reach the raven haired bastard's eyes. It was a foul thing.

Frowning, Naruto asked. "Why didn't you just tell me what you were up to?"

Sighing in exasperation, Sasuke replied. "Because frankly you suck at lying, and pulling this off would've required you to lie outrageously. The whole of the shinobi world knew you had Kaguya sealed inside of your body. By placing another powerful seal on you that prevented you from using chakra and then sending you far enough away that even Kaguya with her space-time powers would have a difficult time returning. The shinobi world felt assured of their safety. It would've been problematic if I told them that there was a way for you to release that seal and in doing so regain your ability to wield chakra. Too many people feared the risk of you returning to the Elemental Nations possessed by Kaguya. A legitimate fear since the seal you used to trap Kaguya inside you was something created on the spot, so it will deteriorate eventually. For the sake of peace, you were sacrificed. As for my little seal, even if Kaguya took over your body right now, my seal is invisible to you and would be invisible to Kaguya, at least until she figured a work around to removing it."

"Yeah but we checked over it together with a fine tooth comb. It will take a few hundred years to deteriorate." Remembering how often the seal on his body had been checked and rechecked in those initial days after the war. Naruto and Sasuke had both picked up a real interest in fuinjutsu during that time, with Naruto beginning to excel at it thanks to his Uzumaki heritage.

"First of all, the sympathetic element of your seal which tethers her life to yours, works both ways, your regeneration and overall lifespan were drastically increased. If you were naively thinking you are going to croak of old age and take Kaguya down with you kicking and screaming then keep dreaming. The seal will deteriorate first, or rather that's what would've happened if I had intended for you to never regain access to your chakra." Sasuke casually revealed, as if he wasn't talking about Naruto's already ridiculously long life span getting a serious boost from being tethered to the life-force of an immortal goddess.

"But since that was never the plan….." Naruto trailed off leadingly.

"As I said early, this place was designed to bring you or rather your mind here whenever you are experiencing an extremely traumatic injury or near death situation. However, while you are here, the seal I placed on you that keeps you chakra sealed off from you is loosened. This ensures that nothing ends up standing between you and the seal you imprisoned Kaguya in. Now due to the sympathetic resonance between you and Kaguya there is a weakness she can use to weaken your seal…or rather, the sympathetic matrices that tether your life-force and hers, is in and of itself a weakness. Think of it this way, the very act of you being able to influence her by taking her down with you should you die, and her being able to influence you by enhancing your life-force and regeneration, is door…a locked door, but a door all the same. Each time she saves you from dying by exerting her limited influence in allowing you to regenerate faster and recover from fatal wounds, pressure is being placed on that locked door. Over time, the door will weaken and finally break, and the more you get critically injured and need her to save you, the faster that door will weaken."

"And the door represents my seal." Naruto stated. It was pretty obvious.

"Well duh!" Sasuke said as if it was most obvious thing in the world. "She's going to get out and there is nothing I can do about that, after all I am not even really here. I'm an echo of the real Sasuke Uchiha. Still, while I can't do something about it, I believe you can. The world you are on is a dangerous and powerful place; I believe you will be able to find a solution to dealing with Kaguya here. That or you'll just kick her ass. Either way, I'll continue to protect the Elemental Nations in your stead, so don't worry about home. And if you succeed in beating Kaguya for real, no one will be able to say anything should you suddenly come back to the Elemental Nations. Though be warned, the real me will check you thoroughly to ensure you are not under Kaguya's influence in any way. We both saw what happened to Madara."

"Yeah, I suppose that is fair." He agreed remembering how Black Zetsu had betrayed Madara and used his body to create Kaguya, which ironically meant that Madara Uchiha was technically the one trapped in his seal.

Sasuke suddenly looked up at the sky before saying. "It looks like you are done healing. Try to remember this conversation when you wake up. I won't be here next."

That got Naruto's attention who quickly turned to his smiling friend and asked. "Sasuke what do you mea-."

He was too late. A blinding flash of light saw the entire replica of Konoha in the depths of his mindscape disappear as he was pulled back to consciousness.

Naruto groaned as he lay on the ground, shocked. He was alive, but he shouldn't have been. That much was clear to him. Even unconscious Naruto had felt his life-force draining to the point that he was undoubtedly a hairsbreadth away from death. The fresh pink skin from where the bite mark on the side of his neck had been, the blood on his work clothes and the blood stains on the mouth of the woman who had attacked him, left little to the imagination about exactly what had just happened. Had he been attacked by one of those vampire things he had read about in those fictional novels he had found in the local library?

'Vampires are real.' He concluded, feeling a rush of excitement at the thought. 'Neat!' Because of if vampires are real, other things might be real too and that made life on Earth a whole lot more exciting than before.

Of course, the actual reason of why he was still alive was something far more concerning. He barely remembered any of it; it honestly felt like a dream, however, he had met Sasuke Uchiha or at least a chakra imprint of the bastard, and a strangely helpful one at that. Naruto had then learned the truth, a truth he had been wondering about for the last 3 years. A truth that came with the warning of Kaguya's return and hope that he would be able to recover his power.

Even now he could feel it, the overwhelming and familiar warmth that he had been denied for over three years. The pulsing of chakra through his pathways as it for the first time in a while moved to do something other than just sit there. Sasuke's seal was already restricting him, keeping him from using any of his internal energy, but Naruto could still feel it.

'Chakra.'

And it was a truly glorious feeling.A distorted chuckle tore from his throat of its own volition as he looked up at the darkening sky. Dark clouds pregnant with rain had been gathering above him and the vampire woman as they fought and played their little game, and it was only now that the first drops had finally decided to fall back to the earth. So with what little strength he had, Naruto raised his right hand up at the sky, as if to touch it, while muttering. "You just couldn't let me die huh, overachieving bastard! Even after you exiled me and took away everything I had left, you did it for a decent reason!"

The rain began to pick up, and fall more heavily. Thick drops splattered across his chest and instantly burst into steam due to his high body temperature, a side effect of his enhanced regeneration.

"You didn't kill me when you had the chance; instead you took all I had left to live for. You betrayed me for the sake of our world. Your reasons are decent but not great. The correct decision would've been to kill me. It absolutely would've ensured Kaguya died with me, the Elemental Nations would be safe from her and that I would not have any chance of ever opposing you. So why did you still choose to place your hopes on me you bastard!" Naruto roared at the sky as lightning suddenly flashed across it, only for loud rumbling thunder and the patter of rainfall to be his answer. Even so, he knew what Sasuke, the real Sasuke would've said.

"In the end you are still a bit of loser who can't do anything on your own idiot. It's okay to let others pick up the slack for you."

The rainfall had turned into cascading white sheets of water as it descended from the heavens. Slowly rising to his feet, Naruto noted that his wounds from fighting the vampire girl had all regenerated. Meanwhile his body was covered in an expanded sealing matrice he had never laid eyes on before, Sasuke's little seal.

It was like Sasuke was taunting him with it. Naruto had after all searched for it for years, and was completely unable to find it on his body no thanks to Sasuke's diligence and brilliance. And if he knew where it was, breaking that seal was a whole other matter altogether.

If the seal broke, then he would have his powers back or at least everything that wasn't going into sealing away Kaguya. Despite that, an Elite Jounin's reserves were nothing to scoff at, and his useable chakra reserves would still be larger than that of even Kakashi and Maito Gai, making them closer to Kage level. The problem was as always making this seal manifest and then eaking it. Without access to even an ounce of his chakra, the latter became difficult. Though now he knew the secret to activating the suppression seal.

Sighing tiredly, Naruto said. "Fine, I will embrace my life again. But don't think I won't find a way to visit Konoha, if only to give you an aneurysm with my presence. You'd deserve it after what you did to me, teme."

"I won't complain nor will I stop you from visiting, it will be nice to see you again. I wouldn't have left a back door for you to access otherwise. Though how long you get to stay, is another matter entirely. After all, it's not like I can't just simply send you back into exile in an instant."

"You stupid Uchiha bastard! That vampire chick really must have drained me dry if I am hallucinating an entire conversation with you, no matter how accurate it seems." Naruto muttered with a snort of amusement, before walking off towards his home. He already knew on some basic level that his boring, ordinary life was finally at an end. It was time once more for Naruto to live like he was truly meant to. As a shinobi

Whether by the design of Fate, Destiny, Providence or even Lady Luck if you wished, somewhere else in that same forest lay a woman. She was heavily injured, with cuts and lacerations across her body, too weakened to even stand under her own power. In fact, at that exact moment as the storm poured down on them, she, much like Naruto had been just minutes earlier, was lying on the ground, with her back to the Earth while raising her hand up at the sky as if to touch it.

This woman – unbeknownst to anyone – would be the catalyst necessary to unleash a force of nature across the multiverse, which would awe even the gods. Her name was Medea, the Princess of Colchis, the infamous Witch of Betrayal and the Caster class Servant of the 5th Holy Grail War.

She was also hurting, more deeply than from the few physical wounds, the Lancer class Servant had managed to inflict on her body before she fled her former Master's workshop. She was hurt by the betrayal of her former Master, Atrum Galliasta, who had called her a witch and tried to command her to kill herself. It reminded her far too much of her maiden years in ancient Greece and her time with Jason, along with the betrayal that came afterward thanks to the machinations of Aphrodite.

"In the end I am going to die like this again. Passed around for others' convenience, exploited...reviled as a traitor. All I wanted was to return to my homeland again." She sadly muttered.

Oh how she wished she had never accepted to be summoned to Earth as a Servant in this Era. If she had known what her Master was like, she definitely wouldn't have agreed to it. Atrum Galliasta was a piece of scum, worse yet, he was an incompetent piece of scum, who quickly grew jealous of his betters, took shortcuts to acquire worthless results and was a backstabbing traitor. Yet he had the nerve to call her a traitorous witch.

The fury she felt towards her now dead master was numbing the pain from the wounds Lancer had inflicted on her. As was the pleasure she felt at the way his flesh burned off his very bones in magical fire, and the moment he realized that his life was at an end.

Medusa was interrupted from her thoughts when an unfamiliar voice suddenly said. "Should I be worried that you are lying on the forest floor, in the middle of a rainstorm, laughing while bleeding from numerous wounds?"

Some unknown instinct suddenly made Medea want to call this stranger a hypocrite for some reason, but she suppressed it in favor of weakly asking him. "Who are you?"

The blond smiled and said. "Just the janitor of a nearby High School ma'am. I would ask who you are, but you are not looking too good right now. Come, let's get you somewhere safe."

"Safe?" She whispered before snorting in amusement as if he had told her the funniest joke in the world. Perhaps it was the blood loss, perhaps it was the curse on Lancer's spear or perhaps it was just the stress of the night, it was at that moment Medea's eyes rolled back in her head and she fainted

The last thing she heard was the strange blond man shouting. "Oi oi! Don't pass out on me woman."

VvV

Naruto looked on in disbelief at the woman he held limply in his arms. His day just seemed to get weirder and weirder, it seemed. First he got his blood drained by a possible vampire with purple hair, now he had a blue haired...what did that book about Lords and Rings call them again, an Elf? Pixie? He wasn't sure. All he knew was that the woman in his arms had pointed ears and an ethereal beauty, which aside from her being so heavily wounded, was a description that fit the beings in that book perfectly.

Now he just needed to figure out what to do with her. Naruto lamented the fact that Souichirou Kuzuki wasn't present in order to ask the man for some advice, the former assassin turned teacher was so much better at this kind of stuff after all.

"Uzumaki-san, who is that woman in your arms?" An all too familiar voice spoke from behind him, almost making Naruto rejoice as he heard it.

'Speak of the devil.' The ninja thought with smile, before turning to the man in question. "Yo Kuzuki-sensei! I found her lying on the ground in the rain, talking to herself and bleeding from these wounds. I think she is a little delirious from all the blood loss. I hope you don't mind, but I thought it best to bring her to the temple first and hear her story."

"I would've thought you would go to the hospital?" The teacher asked him, surprised at his request.

"Her wounds don't seem to be life threatening, near as I can tell, and quite frankly my gut is telling me to wait and hear her story before taking any action." Yes, after his rough night and the fight with the possible vampire girl, Naruto was pretty sure that something was going on in the city and both the Vampire girl and this Elf girl were somehow involved.

Kuzuki paused for a moment, as if in contemplation before saying. "Very well, bring her along. I find myself as interested in her story, as I am in yours."

"Mine?" Naruto asked, surprised.

The teacher merely gestured to his uniform and said. "The blood around your neck and shoulders, as well as the discoloration over your jugular likely did not come from that woman. I want to know what happened."

The confidence with which he pointed out the little details made it clear, that he was stating undeniable facts, and Naruto knew he wouldn't be able to keep this from Souichirou Kuzuki. With a small grin he said. "Jeez, Kuzuki-sensei, there is no way you are just an ordinary teacher."

"I don't know what you are talking about." The man replied in the blandest tone Naruto had ever heard him use, while giving the ninja in question a very pointed look. They both knew that the other was a killer, they had figured that much out about one another within the first 3 seconds of meeting each other. However, the two killers simply ignored these facts about each other in their day to day lives, though it seemed like that was coming to an end now

With a sigh, Naruto turned towards the direction of Ryuudo temple and said. "Well, whatever. Let's get going. We can figure everything else out, once we are home." And with that they began walking. This was a new turning point in Naruto life, his first step into a brand new world.

And that's chapter one. I know it's a little long and I am a little rusty from my absence, but I hope you enjoyed it. Please leave a review so that I may know of any areas I can improve on in the future.

Now, because I am sure this will become an issue with a couple of you, let me address the "fight" between Naruto and Medusa. It might have started off as Rider trying to kill Naruto, but it quickly became more of a game or competition between the two. Part of that is because both Naruto and Medusa found each other very interesting.

Rider grew intrigued when she saw Naruto, whom she'd been assuming was an ordinary individual, displaying superhuman abilities. Naruto on the other hand, has not seen anything remotely supernatural on Earth for the entire 3 years he has been here. Which is why he was game to pick a fight with her and then as she kept hiding her face from him, it turned into a game. He also underestimated her strength at the beginning of the fight.

Anyway, the point is that because it was a game between them, none of them were going to pull out anything lethal on other. At least until it stopped being game, which it did, and Naruto was a second to slow to react thanks Medusa attempting paralyze him with her eyes, a lesser form of petrification. Basically what Gorgon did to Ritsuka Fujimaru in FGO: Babylonia.

Once again I just want to give a special thanks to all my supporters on pa_treon, and apologize for my silence. You guys have really made all this possible, so thank you so much.

Anyway, my plan is two do Born of Fire next so hopefully i will have that up very soon. For now though, I'm actually not feeling to good, so i will see you around.
