Tim approached the bathroom door with a pit in his stomach. He peeked his head in the door to ensure no one else was in there. He walked in slowly, it didn't take him long to find her. He could hear her sniffling from a mile away.

Tim: "I know you don't want to talk and that's okay. I'm here if you need me. You don't have to go through this alone." Silence followed. "I'm sorry, Lucy. I never wanted you to have to feel this again. I would do anything to take it away." As he rambled on he heard the door unlock. Once she opened the door his worry only grew more. She looked up at him with sad eyes and fell into his embrace. Tim accepted her embrace without hesitation. He breathed her in completely, enjoying the scent of her shampoo. She looked up at him and stared longingly into his deep blue eyes. Before she knew it she was leaning in to kiss him. He kissed her back and soon it became frantic. The tension, and passion that had been building since their night together came back to light. Realizing what she was doing, she pulled away from him suddenly.

Lucy: "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that."

Tim: "Maybe you should have. We still haven't talked about this, us, something is happening between us. I know you feel it too."

Lucy: "I don't. I just got caught up in the moment. I should get back out there. I already made a fool of myself in front of everyone."

Lucy felt the tightness in her chest as she spoke those words to him. She couldn't let him in, not now. Not with everything going on. She knew the guilt he felt for her kidnapping was heavy. What if Rosiland came after her again? What if she didn't make it this time? She would not put that on him. For now, it is best to keep far away from Tim Bradrford.

-Later that night-

Lucy arrived at her apartment ready to rid herself of this day. Why on earth did she kiss him? Not being able to stop her thoughts, she lit a candle and ran a bubble bath, hoping to get her mind off it. She went to the kitchen to open her favorite wine, on her way back to the bathroom she paused to look at the photo of her and Jackson hanging on the wall. How she missed her best friend. He would know exactly what to say. Enjoying the silence she hopped into the bath.

Tim couldn't stop thinking about Lucy. What did he have to do to make her understand he was on her side? He circled her house trying to work up the courage to go see her. He knows deep down something bigger is going on with her. She was never an easy person to read. Even from day one, she always kept the deepest parts of herself secret. All he wanted was a chance. He could make her happy, keep her safe. He has never felt this strongly for anyone, even Isabel. He has felt their connection grow more as time passes. He will make her see he's worth it. In time.
